Everyone I’ve worked with has been highly skilled, very personable, helpful and knowledgeable and had excellent input into projects. In particular, Ian did a fantastic job refinishing my antique Mission style coffee table and Oleg did an amazing job painting some different rooms and hallways. Also had some excellent grout repair done for a good price. Very satisfied! Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend! We’ve used Chicago Handyman for a few projects now. The people we’ve met have been beyond friendly.Ian came to our house last week to install a door to our laundry. For someone reason the standard door from Home Depot didn’t fit, so he had to get creative. Ian brought his table saw to ensure it fit perfectly. He even noticed that one door wasn’t laying flush (which I didn’t) and adjusted all the hinges until it was perfect.

I had a unique situation with a huge old air conditioner installed into my window frame I wanted removed. Vincent did a great job getting it out, lifting it through a window, and carrying it down 3 flights of stairs. That thing was HEAVY!! Hired them to do work on my condo before going on the market. They did an absolutely phenomenal job. They did drywall and patching work, custom shelving (with color match to existing cabinetry), installed new light fixtures, and so many other little things around the place.I also had them paint and could not be happier with the job they did. True professional work. Ian and Oleg (handymen) were amazing and Ill absolutely be using them for work in my new condo.Additional kudos to Megan in the office. Dan was a great help. I needed a loft built. I wanted to participate in the building so I was seeking a handyman to come and build it with me. I searched everywhere with poor results. Most people wanted to charge insane rates. One guy I tried to hire didnt show on the day of the build. Dan was awesome. He came when he said he would. We got the entire loft built in one day. Including a set of stairs. The loft has been up for about 8 months now. It was built safe and sound! Any future projects I will be sure to call him!

I thought Id have to schedule something and then they might show up and then it would be a whole thing but nope! They just come and do the work. I am really grateful to Dan and Leo. I needed a gas stovetop installed due to some work not done by a previous contractor. I submitted a request on Mon, received a text asking for further details on Weds, and a call immediately saying it can be scheduled on Weds itself.Vincent was my handyman, who came in checked out the work, and made a quick run to Home Depot and came back with the appropriate parts. He was very detailed in his work, made sure to explain every part and how it worked to me as well. Got it all connected, and tested it perfectly.Things that were highlights for me were how friendly Vincent was, even after testing it he stayed for a few minutes to chat because we were talking to him, but he also seemed ready to leave if we werent chatty. He also noticed that we dont wear shoes in the house, and took them off immediately even though I mentioned it wasnt necessary.

I was selling my apt and needed help fixing a ton of random minor repairs. I called chicago handyman, and Dan Shirley the owner sent Thomas -- my literal life saver. Not only did Thomas fix everything I needed (and seriously it ranged from plumbing to carpentry to painting) but he had some great ideas for solutions to tile problems and then did the work perfectly. I cant say enough!! When I need them to come, they come as soon as they can, sometimes the same day. And the price was so affordable. Who needs a man when I have Chicago Handyman ;)? a+, 5 stars.

Biggest Fan!!... of Handy Man Dan with his Van.Drywall, Carpentry, Glassblocks, tiles, and general remodeling ok my partners and I needed some help with that, but electrical and plumbing OMG what a God send (I refuse to touch that stuff). Hes very innovative in creating solutions, hes also amazing with other things like art, deco and sowing things (if u can believe it), AND he builds PRO-Grade Websites AND knows about search optimization that has gotten more than a few businesses off the ground AND flourishing!!. Jaime came out and repaired the drywall and mudded everything before he left the first day. The next day he painted that section and you cant tell the difference between that spot and the old paint.
