    We have been customers’ of Safe Electrical for several years at any time we required any type of electrical service. Mitch is one of the seasoned electricians that has repaired, upgraded or added to our homes electrical needs. Charles has inspected an exterior safety light we thought was unrepairable and got it working again! Noelle, in the office, is absolutely the best communicator. You are always reminded of appointments and she is efficiently friendly in delivery! We recently had our entire electrical panel replaced and updated. We are so fortunate that Charles investigated that the dated 1963 panel needed to be replaced. The 5 member Team that arrived promptly on the appointed day were fantastic hard workers. I was pleasantly impressed as how well the Team worked together. They really got along very well; each knew what to do; and what was expected of their responsibilities. Their conversations during the course of the days work continued to be upbeat with no adverse negativity. Safe has a fantastic group of dedicated electricians. Safe is the Perfect description of their Company. I wholeheartedly endorse Safe and will continue to seek their electrical assistance with our electrical needs. Safe Electrical is a model that puts the client first!

    Charles and the entire team at SAFE Electrical brought new service into my 115+ year old home and rewired the place top to bottom. As anyone might suspect, we all went into the project expecting the unexpected - but the contingency planning, both budget and time, kept the project on track without surprises. The team worked around me living and working 100% in the home as the work occurred. The entire company is professional, friendly, and live up to the name of Safe - in the work they perform and the feeling, as a home owner, of having a crew working in every inch of your home.

    We recently moved into an older house that had a lot of electrical issues that were flagged by the home inspector. We knew it was going to be a big job and wanted to feel good about the company we chose. One company I called just wanted me to describe all the work to be done over the phone, and then offered a quote. I didnt feel good about that, so I kept looking. After contacting SAFE Electrical, Charles said he would stop by to look at all the work to be done and then give an estimate. Thats what he did, and he really took his time with it, which I appreciated. We were happy withe price, and so we moved forward. Our job required a team of electricians (6 I think?), and they took care of everything in one day. All 6 of the electricians were professional and courteous. They made sure to cover up our furniture, and cleaned up after themselves. We had Charles install a new light for our address sign. That night, when we saw the new light, it wasnt at the right angle to fully illuminate it. The next day I texted Charles and he said he would come back out to adjust it. He did that, and asked me to let him know how it looked. It still wasnt quite right, so he came out one more time to fix it, and it worked. It was great that he was committed to making sure we were happy with the work they did. I would most definitely call SAFE Electrical again for any future electrical work.

    I’m extremely pleased with the work completed by Safe Electrical! Their responsiveness was impressive as they explained each project throughly, offering valuable recommendations for improvements. The entire team’s professionalism and politeness were noteworthy. They efficiently tackled four projects in one day, from installing a new carriage light and ceiling fan to replacing an old outlet and rewiring a light switch. Very skilled and customer-focused.     This is the second time I hired Safe Electrical, this time to install landscape lighting throughout my property, and as with my first experience with them, I am truly blown away with their professionalism. I work with a lot of the trades professionally, and I can easily say I have not come across another crew more kind, conscientious, respectful, and approachable as the Safe Electrical Crew. A special shout out to Keaton & Pat who worked so hard on the install and worked with me to lay out all the lights throughout the gardens to my specifications. Also, a shout out to Ethan & Mike who came towards the end of the work day, and stayed late to make sure our project got completed on schedule. Everyone was careful around our plants/tress and they did a great job cleaning up after the work was done. Lastly, I would like to shout out to Noelle, who has always been so kind and timely with scheduling, billing, and updates. Truly, my entire experience was top notch!

    I highly recommend calling Safe Electrical! Charles and his team are professional, honest, on time and the job always turns out right. We have used Safe Electrical for various projects in our older home and older rental properties over the years and I wish all contractors were as thorough and responsive. The pricing is competitive, and while not the lowest price, there is never a doubt that we are getting A+ service.

    Charles came out within an hour of calling on a federal holiday !!? Free assessment. Gave us a break down of our payment and options without “selling us”. Immediately fixed it within the hour.It was a great experience. My only negative was the initial fix for something that seemed relatively fast to fix did cost $300 ish. But we have an old house and we kinda assumed it wasn’t going to be cheap. Although I wasn’t excited about the “quick fix” option cost, it doesn’t take away from the fact that we will be using SAFE going forward. I felt like SAFE really cared about our house and doing things CORRECTLY.Our inspector and second opinion electrician clearly missed the rats nest of the wiring and unfortunately were stuck with the cost of cleaning it up. But I’m comfortable enough to trust SAFE to look out for us in the future.

    FANTASTIC!! Friendly, polite & professional. If you need electrical service, these are the people to call. They updated our 2nd box so we could put a hot tub in the backyard. In addition cleaned up all the wiring into BOTH boxes so that everything works perfect & no more tripping fuses. We’ve had remodel work done over the years & never realized that added electrical components in kitchen , etc were done “just okay”. Safe Electrical came in & cleaned up all other the electrician’s mediocre work! Thank you!!!

    If you are looking for a good electrical company, you will not be disappointed by Safe Electrical! We could not be more pleased with their service. From the time you receive an estimate until the job is done, the team is on it every step of the way. Safe Electrical upgraded our electrical panel, installed new wiring and two new fans. The day they showed up to complete the work, a whole crew showed up to knock it all out in a day! Others wanted to take a week. The efficiency was very impressive so that you are not stuck at home with people in and out multiple days.     We had a small outlet fire that led to us making a decision to get our entire home rewired and brought up to code. Let me first start with this company is OUTSTANDING! My experience was great from start to finish. I’ll start with the person on the other end of the phone, Noelle, she was very helpful with scheduling someone to come out, answering all of my questions, and was phenomenal with making me comfortable and easing the anxiety that comes along with trying to find a company you can trust for a project like this. Next is the master electrician/owner, Charles, professionalism and customer service at its finest! He came out, did a walkthrough of my home, and came back a couple days later to review options with my husband and myself. When it came time to do the work, the entire crew was respectful of my home, courteous, and professional. A true reflection of their owner/leadership. The icing on the cake was when the village inspector came out and acknowledged that they did a phenomenal job. My husband and I are rarely surprised and I must say the work Safe Electrical did exceeded our expectations. I cannot say enough good things about this company. We have already recommended this company to a few co-workers and friends who are in need of electrical work. I rarely write reviews but this is one was well worth it and I can only hope it helps others who are in need of an electrician make their decision.

    My wife and I didnt have any light fixtures in our living room with the exception of table lamps. So we wanted to add more lighting to our living room. Mitch and his team from safe electrical came out to take care our needs. They took out time to make sure the placement of the lights were to our liking, and they shared their expertise to help me make a good decision.     We called Charles and his crew to help us rewire our upstairs (which had many non functioning outlets, many non grounded outlets, many two prong only outlets, etc.). Not only did he 1. Quote us an insanely good price and 2. Do the work ridiculously quickly (they were done with everything in 6 hours), when we called them back for some malfunctions that had occurred to the previous work, they came back out at no charge to help us get it fixed again, even when some of those fixes ended up being bigger issues than they realized during the first job. Amazing service, super friendly, great at rescheduling as needed, 10 out of 10 will always recommend these guys.

    Had Safe Electrical come out to do a 200amp panel upgrade & multiple EV charging runs to my garage with charging station installations. They handled all the permitting, the installation looks great and passed village inspection with flying colors. The price was very fair and the workmanship was excellent.     I cant say enough how great this company is. As first time homeowners we werent sure what to expect when working with an electrician. They first did an inspection for us back in 2017 before we bought our house. They charged a fair price to do a walk through and told us what would needed to be updated. 3 years later we have work we need done in our basement (can lights installed, circuit box labeled, wire cleanup, etc.). Not only did the electrician, Charles, remember us, he even honored the quote he gave 2 years prior for the breaker box. He and his team worked all day at our house. The work was done timely and professionally. Fast forward to today, weve been having trouble with a breaker tripping when we use 2 appliances at the same time (we have an old house). We were able to get him out here within 48 hours to fix the problem. Great local electrician. We highly recommend!

    We set up an appointment with another company to do some work in our home. After waiting all day they never came or called us back. Some one told us about Safe Electrical Service . When I called Charles answer the phone and I ask him if he could do the work. He was very nice and considerate. He told me he would send someone out the next day. Mitch and Michael were very Professional and very detailed. Michael put in reset lights, ceiling fan, doorbells, electrical outlets. Even clean up the area where they worked. I am so glad I called them.They are like family to me, and they made us feel the same way. They are also on time and reasonable.

    I called Safe Electric on the recommendation of a friend. We have an alcove room off our family room that had no overhead lighting. We were turning it into a home office. The ceiling in the room is vaulted and we were unsure what kind of lighting would be the most practical and aesthetically pleasing. I left a message and Charles called me back the same day. We talked on the phone and discussed possible options for the room. We set up a time for an estimate the following week. The input on options was very helpful and we ended up going with four canned lights in the vaulted ceiling. The lights had to be ordered and the finishing trim piece was on back order. Since we were anxious to get the work done Charles offered to have the bulk of the work completed and have the trim installed at our conveniance when it arrived. Everyone I worked with was very professional, personable, and I really appreciated how clean they left our house when they finished! We are really pleased with final results and will definitely use them for our next project!

    Safe Electrical and Charles just became my “go to” electrical provider as a company which delivers professional electrical services in a timely, efficient manner.I contacted Charles on Monday of Christmas week. A fair quote was provided on Tuesday and a team of three workers arrived at 9 AM on Thursday (yesterday - the day before Christmas Eve) and did not stop working until the job was done at 2 Pm…..ensuring that my family would enjoy our newly installed hot tub, today on Christmas Eve.     My parents home lost total power while a contractor was using an exterior outlet. They smelled burnt odors and where unable to fip the breaker. I quickly searched for a 24/7 company with great customer feedback and choose Safe Electrical. Charles arrived within hours. He was able to safely restore power shortly after arriving and offered several options to correct the damaged system. His team spent two days installing the system changes and upgrades. My Mom was extremely pleased with the demeanor, professionalism and cleanliness of the crew.     After the storms we had here there were a series of power surges. Due to the age of the panel and the improperly installed breakers, there was some damage to our electrical panel (as well as some of our smaller kitchen appliances). I called a few companies and got quotes from each. I loved how professional and responsive SAFE Electrical was compared to the other services were, despite being roughly the same price to replace an our panel. I also opted to do some additional repairs and fixes that were much needed. They were on time and by on time I mean they were here 30 minutes early and were prepping to come into the house and start work at the scheduled time. Prior to starting they even asked if they were allowed to use the restroom (which I thought was a dumb question, because they were going to be here all day and I cant imagine that customers would say no to a basic human necessity yet apparently some people take issue with contractors using their bathroom). Replacing an electrical panel as well as doing some rewiring can take a fair amount of time. Replacing light switches and outlets doesnt really take too long, but can add up with each additional request. They had told me, when I had booked the appointment, that it might take a total of 2 days due to the amount of work that was being requested (which I was fine with, I would rather they take their time and do it right than rush). By the end of the day they had done everything they were contracted to do. They even told me about additonal problems that I was unaware of (such as charred wiring, which was traced to a lamp-post which is literally never used). Every employee that came through was very courteous and professional. We also had just adopted a rescue dog that is a very aggressive towards strangers. Mitch asked if he could give him and our other dog a treat, to let him know that he isnt a threat, showing us the packaging and the ingredients in the treats and asked for permission prior to giving them the treats. Needless to say our dogs were very happy and calmed down instantly. They were friendly towards him and the other workers the rest of the day. Honestly, it was the friendliness towards our dog that initially made us choose SAFE Electrical. Every other company seemed to have the same prices and say the same things when receiving quotes, but it was the friendliness towards our dog that really sold us. Our hunch was correct, as they did an amazing job. We have some other small jobs that we need done and will be using them again. They fixed every problem that we had and were contracted to do and did so professionally and courteously. Minor or major electrical work, I would highly recommend SAFE Electrical. Though each employee was great, I would also highly recommend Mitch. He was the reason we choose SAFE Electrical and would gladly choose and recommend SAFE Electrical to anyone looking for Electrical work.

    I had a serious problem with my outside meter. It was arching and causing a dangerous issue. I had two other electricians look and said it was Too Big of a job for them ! By chance I called Safe Electric. I met Charles who came in , looked at the issue and agreeded it needed to be done asap.     Charles and his crew have completed over 40 electrical jobs for me in three years. YES 40 and i am always more than satisfied. I run Special Spaces in Illinois. Special Spaces is a nonprofit that decorates dream bedrooms for children with a life threatening illness. Sometimes it is a simple fix like hanging a chandelier but many times what should be simple is actually much more complicated and Charles and his staff always know how to fix it and always do it in a safe, economical and clean fashion.     We had Safe Electrical Service out to do some upgrades recently. We were very pleased with the service we received. We wanted several things done but were unsure about which to do first. Charles broke down the work into three proposals which made it easier for us to decide, based on our budget and needs. He also helped identify some safety issues with the current wiring and load panel, which we had him correct. His crew are all very professional and highly skilled. They did an amazing job installing recessed LED ceiling lights as well as extra outlets, dimmers, the circuit breaker panel, and even helped troubleshoot an issue we had with our rec room wiring.     Safe Electrical Services just completed a job at our house and we are super pleased with their work! Pat was our technician and he did an excellent job. He took the time to write up multiple different quotes that we could choose from with different levels of service/combinations of various jobs we wanted done to help us make an informed decision.     Charles and his crew were fantastic. We purchased a house that passed inspection but ended up having significant and dangerous electrical issues. The team spent a day and a half essentially rewiring the house. They were courteous, considerate, detail-oriented, professional, communicative, and most importantly, they saved us from a potentially devastating situation.The small things make the difference between service and service excellence. Charles had to make an opening in the cabinet above our refrigerator (there was no alternative), explained it thoroughly before it was done, patched it beautifully, and even fixed the trim that our contractors hadnt properly nailed into the cabinet. They not only completely protected our floors but also cleaned up any errant salt from the snow outside. These small things really impressed me after months of renovations and wildly different experiences with other service providers.This is a highly specialized skill and you get what you pay for. SAFEs services were worth every penny and we wont hesitate to use them again in the future.

    Great experience! My call was answered the very first time I dialed, my need was well understood, and an appointment was scheduled right away. Charles came out, gave me a reasonable estimate and in no time, he and his colleague came out and installed my basement outlets (I needed a both a 220 and a standard 120 outlet).     I called several electricians in and around the Beverly area and many didnt return my call. Safe electrical returned my call, promptly scheduled service (I had to wait a week for service but it was not an emergency) and called when they were 15-30 minutes away to let me know they were arriving shortly. They corrected all broken outlets in my moms condo and my mom said the electrician was kind and professional. I would highly recommend them.

    We have had Safe Electrical out to our home several times now. They updated all the electrical outlets and changed out some wiring to make the home safe after we moved in. They hung several ceiling fans as well as light fixtures. They recently upgraded us to 200 amp service after a power surge went through our very old box. Charles and his team have always been nothing but professional and they always clean up after every job. When we lost power due to the power surge Charles walked me theough what to have ComEd check on their end and was out to the house that same day to get us power back up so we had heat that night. Once the parts were in his team completed the 200 amp upgrade in one day and they did an excellent job.
