I highly recommend working with Nate. He did a couple of projects for us recently including installing a 240 volt outlet in our kitchen for an induction stove. He also fixed the lights in the hood and installed a new dimmer in a hallway. We hired him again a few weeks later to move a junction box and install a new outlet in our kitchen in the midst of a mini remodel. He is very responsive and punctual. He cleaned up thoroughly after he finished the job. He also completed the work a head of time and for the price he quoted. I also consulted him about some future projects and he had great suggestions. We look forward to hiring Nate in the future.

Nathan will be my new go-to for not only any personal electrical needs but potentially for my entire condo associations needs. He was personable, knowledgeable, efficient, and fairly priced. He even threw in a replacement exterior outlet when he noticed that the busted one was the source of the shorting on the interior of my unit. Highly recommend using him especially if you are in the Uptown/Lincoln Square/North Center area.

Nate was incredible to work with from the first time I contacted him. He was very responsive throughout our project and extremely dependable and accommodating. He went above and beyond to help us finish the project (even taking on some of the drywall work my wife and I were supposed to get done). He was great with our barky dog and the chaos that comes with a house with young children and two people who work from home.Nate also made really good recommendations for our lighting that we ended up implementing with him.I’d highly recommend Kostos Electric for anyone looking for a reputable, dependable electrician.

We needed a plug put outside for holiday lights. They were so quick and efficient with communication, organizing a time to give a quote and easy to schedule with when the task was ready. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Our HOA Board wanted to install new low voltage outdoor lighting in our courtyard. We contacted Nate to see if this was a project he could complete for us and he immediately offered to come on site and walk through our project plan.Nate was incredibly helpful, responsive and most importantly his work quality exceeded our expectations. In addition, his quote was very competitive and reasonable. He was punctual, efficient and it was easy to keep in touch via text as we had to split up the project tasks over two days.We cannot recommend Nate enough and he will be our preferred electrician for any future projects. It was 96* and our electricity went out at 5:00PM! Comed told us the problem was inside, so we went to Google and picked the top rated electrician! Reviewers weren’t wrong. Nate came out within the hour (on a very hot,busy day in CHI). He identified the problem within minutes. Even though he had to order the part, he did NOT leave us without power. He worked his “electrician” magic, and we had a/c, lights & fridge - everything working before he left. He returned a day later to put in the ordered part, he had us up and running in minutes! Don’t hesitate to call him 24/7.

Highly recommend. Communicative, flexible and professional. Nate took my call on a Saturday afternoon and was at my condo for an outlet installation and relocation first thing Monday morning. I would give more than 5 stars if possible. In a series of very frustrating interactions with plumbers and hvac contractors, i called kostos for help for what i was told was an electrical issue. Not only did an actual technician answer my call, but he was here shortly after and helped identify the problem - even though it turns out that it wasn’t an electrical issue after all. he let me ask a million questions and explained the situation several times until i was able to understand the problem. i will absolutely call if there IS an electrical issue in the future.

Our laundry room power went out (randomly) and Nate came over on the same day to help us - faster than any of the other electricians I called. And he did an INCREDIBLE job, figuring out the strange wiring of our old home, thoroughly checking junction boxes, and ultimately finding the root cause and fixing it. ⚡🔧🤘Nate is clearly an expert, cares about the little details, was super respectful of our stuff, and cleaned up after finishing the repair. The price was more than fair for the amount of work this job took.And besides all of that, Nate is also a great guy - he gave us some free advice about other parts of our house and shared some fun stories from his past too. Hes going to be our first call for all electrical work and somebody we recommend to our friends! I really cant recommend him highly enough.
