This is my 2nd time using Flavin Electric. Scott came out last year for an emergency appointment and was incredible. They were a recommendation from an electrician union. His intervention and explanation of the work quite literally saved me from an issue left by a previous electrician that could have caused a fire or me being electrocuted.So when we had an outlet stop working, they were our first call. Jeronimo arrived and had it fixed with 40minutes. They do incredible work and go above and beyond to ensure safety. The staff are communicative and I appreciate the text alerts so I can best time the arrival of the worker within my workday. If you’re in the Chicagoland area I highly recommend them!

Tom was the technician that came out to perform the inspection. Both Scott and Tom were professional and efficient. Tom read the comments I made when I filled out the contact form online, made sure to start with those, and then addressed all my subsequent questions. He went a step further by checking out the entire unit outside of just the areas I noted. Thank you Tom. Outside of their expertise, I really appreciated the Flavin Electric website, which makes it super easy to describe an issue and schedule an appointment. Billing was also a breeze to take care of. The electric at the condo I was buying was outdated, and I wanted an estimate to help me with my final cost negotiations (to cover what Id need to repair) plus I wanted work done. MULTIPLE neighbors suggested Scott Flavin with Flavin Electric, and he exceeded expectations.He came in for an electrical assessment, which helped me save over $1000 that went towards getting the work done after closing. I met two of his employees on the first day of electric work, and they were hardworking, honest, and collaborative -- they asked me directly for my input on things when they came up and helped include me in the process. They have hung new fixtures and fans, installed new outlets, and added new circuit breakers to the breaker panel. These are licensed electricians who know their trade so the results are professional and up to code.
