We had an excellent experience with Budget Right Handyman. The administrative coordinator, Sam, was very helpful, friendly, and informative. We had a number of handyman projects that were completed by Miguel Romero over two four-hour sessions. He had the diverse skill-set that we needed, and his explanations were very clear. He is a very articulate, professional handyman. In short, Miguels work was excellent; and we would definitely hire him again.

We needed some drywall patching in the cabinet under the kitchen sink after having pipe spigots moved. There were also gaps between each side of that cabinet floor and the cabinet wall that have been there since we moved in over 2 years ago that we wanted built out. This is not an easy space to get into physically, so I appreciate that much more the precise and thorough work that Victor B. did.The appointment process was easy too. Nick at BRH responded to my emails in a timely manner and answered all of my initial questions.Victor is nice and polite and very professional. He called when he arrived at our house, even before he arrived to let us know his ETA.He double checked with me on both jobs if we were going to paint over it, or if we needed it to look like nothing was done, etc. I didnt need it to look like the cover of Inside Cabinets Monthly. I said I just wanted it sealed up. He delivered and it looks really nice. He did very solid work. It took about three hours like theyd estimated beforehand, including the trip to get materials. And he didnt leave a mess in the cabinet or the kitchen.I would definitely call Budget Right and ask for Victor the next time we need any carpentry work done. Thanks very much Victor!

I have used this company for several years and was very pleased with the work that Jesse Morris did at my home recently. Jesse was well prepared, took a look at the problems and managed to repair the two items on my list within an hour, which included a trip to the Home Depot near me. Jesse was very friendly and very kind, especially with my 2 doggies. He is extremely competent and didnt waste any time making the repairs. I highly recommend Budget Right Handyman, and Jesse in particular.Jesse replaced a valve that was causing a toilet to continuously run and also installed some closet supports in the main closet.

We tried to hang drywall on our ceiling ourselves and it did not go well. Budget Rite had done a job for a client of ours and they were happy with the work they did so we gave them a call. They were super responsive and up front with their costs on the project. The technician they sent Matthew Neumann was professional and really nice, he did such great work. Id definitely request to have him back on our next project. We are so happy with our ceiling that we are going to reach out to them for another drywall project in our home. The best part is they even came in under their original estimation.

I needed a bathroom vanity installed. Luis, due to his talent and knowledge, was able to determine a problem with the floor and resolve it in order properly install the vanity. Luis also installed two other faucets and noticed some problems with the sink, informing me of ways to prevent mold. His craftsmanship is superb and he is also very professional, thoughtful and kind.

Keri, from Budget Right Handy(wo)man went above and beyond and recommend this company for any of your property needs. All I needed was to have an old washing machine disconnected because the installation people for our new one wouldnt do it. Keri, was able to disconnect the washing machine with ease, but also discovered a potential leak that prevented her from disconnecting it fully. However, she said the best solution would be to disconnect quickly and then install the new one, so that is exactly what she did all within an hour. This was the best $99 I have spent when it comes to service requests for my property. I am immensely grateful for her work and time and my tenants are thrilled about being able to utilize their new washing machine.

I have used Budget Right for several years. I have had 99% good experiences and the 1% I didnt they made it right. Most recently Daniel Carillo installed a pocket door lock, an outside door lock, and fixed a sink plug that would not rise. He was efficient and did a good job with an attention to detail that I like. Ive had them hang doors, replace light switches, install a mirror with a built-in LED light, drywall , and install a fan. Probably other things I dont remember. Ive been very satisfied with their work.

We had handyman/technician Anthony Campanile come out from Budget Right Handyman and he was fantastic! He took the time to talk about the project and get our input on what we were looking for first, and he was able to build a custom door for our crawlspace entry! Weve been looking everywhere including all these businesses that supposedly do work on basements and crawlspaces, but not a single one said they could do it until we got in touch with BRH. Not only that, he went above and beyond to make sure that it was airtight and weatherproof which was one of our biggest concerns. Wed definitely recommend them based on this experience!

As a real estate agent, Ive had my clients hire Budget Right Handyman multiple times to prep their listings before going on the market, or after an inspection when repairs are needed. Ive always been very pleased with their quality of work and the ease of scheduling! Most recently, Justin Lamerdin did a great job with some simple tasks that we needed to complete quickly. I find its sometimes most difficult to find a contractor to do small punch list items for a good price. He had a multitude of random small repairs to do and he did them all perfectly (changing lightbulbs, GFCI outlets, re-attaching wallpaper, covering a junction box, re-attaching a motorized blind, etc). I will continue relying on Budget Right for my business and personal needs!

I realized that I had the wrong screws for the door handle he was supposed to install, and while I was at Home Depot he was helpful on the phone with finding the right screws. Definitely recommend!

Budget Right Handyman exceeded my expectations once again. I needed a stair tread repaired on my outdoor deck. I accidentally contacted another Handyman service who estimated the project to be anywhere between $300.00 and $400.00; which was ridiculous. I then found Budget Right Handyman and they scheduled me right away, advised me to purchase my own tread which I did for $25.00, and came out to do the job for $89.00, and they did it perfectly! Anytime you pay by the hour, it seems the work takes longer than expected by like 2x. In this case, they were much better than others. Of course I still felt it took a little longer than I expected, but I’m no expert on the tasks at hand. So overall, they did a great job with high quality work, and they back their work up with a 1-year warranty!

James came and quickly figured out where the faulty gasket was and where some sealant needed to be added. James was kind, on time, and worked quickly. Budget Right has become our guy when we need something fixed.Our back gate had been sticking pretty badly after it appears someone backed into it with their car. Art Cardona fixed the gate and in a sturdy way that will prevent it from being so easily bent in the future. Art also quickly repaired our front gate so that it latches more easily. I wish we would have called Budget Right to fix these things months ago!

Jatone (Jay) performed repairs to the exterior front and back wooden porch stairs. He installed braces to stabilize a wobbly back porch stair rail. He also replaced a safety rail on the front porch stairs that was deteriorated and stained the railing to protect it from the rain. Even though he had to make a trip to Home Depot for a new wood pole and other material, he was fast and efficient, so that he actually finished an hour earlier than budgeted. I appreciate that the handymen from Budget Right are so honest about their time and do not try to overcharge.

Nate arrived on time for the appointment and after looking over the situation, he had to make a trip for supplies. Nate was very professional and made sure the job was professional and to my liking. It took some time, but he did a great job of getting it right. He showed up early, was really efficient in completing my punch list and was highly skilled and professional. I had a variety of tasks including, replacing a toilet paper holder and patching/painting the subsequent hole that was left, assembling a crib, hanging shelves, bolting a dresser to the wall in my toddlers room and hanging a baby monitor. He did it all within the two hours I had purchase using an angies list deal. In addition, I called to schedule on a Monday and Mario came the next day to complete the work.

Highly recommend this place if you just have a bag of things to do but dont what to find all the specialists. Their web interface is awesome, and their customer support is very responsive. I had scheduled with them many times, and I think they are better over phones than over emails.Since they coordinate many handymen, they may mess up your appointments/miss your emails. I experienced this few times days prior, once day of, but they are always responsive and helpful. So you need to double check the confirmation, watch out for changes on their parts, and call them whenever you have questions.All of the handyman (I had 4 on many occasions) show up super on time, often before the scheduled time. So if you have a 8am job scheduled, youd better sleep early the night before :)For handyman, I recommend Mario S and Art C. Both of them have painted for me, and Mario installed a barn door. The paint job was beautifully done, and the door is perfect. The installation of the door is really expensive (~1600 if you want to replace your current swing door with a barn door, door cost not included). Mario was not only fast, but he also fixed the door trim.

I am SO happy I found BRH. We had an unexpected hiccup in a project being done by other parties, and needed some minor wall/framing work done urgently. Not only did their office return my (somewhat frantic) call within minutes, they were able to schedule our project for the next day. Their office team is great. Victor who came out to complete the work was also amazing. He was so patient and not only helped us figure out what was needed through a game of telephone with our other contractors, but found a simpler way to do the work which saved us all time and a significant amount of money compared to their original estimate. Victor also noticed a minor and unrelated issue, which he brought to our attention and solved for us extremely quickly. We will definitely be reaching out to BRH and Victor for future projects.

Stu McLean did some interior painting for us on April 18-19, 2018. Stu was on time, professional in his work and friendly. He is a highly skilled painter and did an excellent job. We needed a large master bedroom, powder room, hall way, stairs and large overhead wall to be painted. Stu came in an went right to work. There was not a drop of paint splattered anywhere. He had to use an extension ladder to paint overhead on astairwell. We were amazed at how neatly and quickly he performed the work. He also gave us some good suggestions that were very helpful. He is a highlyskilled electrician. We had electrical problems in the basement dueto some previous poorly repaired connections. Edgar listened toour concerns and immediately set about to solve the issues.He installed ceiling lights with switches in the laundry room, furnace room and storage areas. He put in several electrical junction boxes in the basement ceiling. And he also repaired and installed a new dimmer switch in our dining room. We were amazed at how quickly and neatly he worked. It was such a pleasure and joy to have him work for us. He truly knows his craft.We would definitely use Budget Right Handyman services again.

I am recommending this company for a few reasons. We recently moved in to a new unit and needed a multitude of things done in the appointment window. The process was swift and I was able to make an appointment for the following Friday, which was really nice seeing as we just moved in. The technician was on time and ready to get to work right away. He made haste when aligning and had a precise eye. All of my framed art and wall hangings look wonderful! He put together a few items that needed to be taken apart for the move. Everything was able to be completed in about two hours. Five stars!!!!

After I shared what needed to be done, Manny quickly replaced 3 wired smoke detectors. Before installing bathroom hardware including 2 towel hooks, a towel bar, and a towel ring, he recommended using more robust anchors to reduce the chance of them pulling out, which I appreciated and agreed to. All fixtures were installed as requested, and he helped adjust the bend on the towel bar since it was slightly askew.

Gabriel did a great job, as all Budget Right guys have done. The only issue is that the appointment was set for noon, and I had to call BR at 12:20 to find out what the delay was. Gabriel ended up being about an hour late, which is fine -- he was stuck on another job -- but we should have been contacted well before the appointed time to let us know there would be a delay. Not a big deal, but thats the only reason I cant give As across the board. Otherwise, as indicated above, Gabriel was friendly, explained the issues he was dealing with, and he did a great job.

I’ve used Budget Right twice and both times they really did excellent work. The first time they sent someone out to repair a pretty gnarly hole in my ceiling where there had been some significant water damage. I had removed the rotted drywall before they got there but they did the brunt of the work. I was really worried that the patch job would still be visible but it looked like the water damage had never even occurred.The second time was to patch a small hole in our new house where we had can lights installed, as well as install some tricky exterior lights on our house that were beyond my abilities. They came in under the quoted time alottment so I was really happy.If I had one complaint it would be the cost, though in my experience they’ve always provided top notch guys for the job. It would be nice if they ran more specials (20% off, save $60 when you book x hours, etc.). If I had another job that wasn’t big enough for a contractor I’d definitely call them again.

I have used Budget Right Handyman for all of my minor home improvements. I highly recommend asking for Luis M. I needed to repaint my front porch stairs but was going to give up on this project because I didn’t have any more paint that matched the rest of my porch. Luis intervened and encouraged me to let him try to find a paint that matched. He found a PERFECT match and did a beautiful job on the stairs. He also installed a ceiling fan with light in my son’s bedroom with zero problem and he hung other things around my house such as various hooks and framed pictures and paintings. He listened well and worked well independently and totally put me at ease about the work he performed. I highly recommend asking for him at BRH!

This is the 3rd time I have used them, they installed an exterior door, fixed some cracks I had in my sidewalk, painted & fixed wood trim around my garage and my front door, installed a new doorbell. This time I had them return to fix my exterior door because it was sticking so bad I couldnt hardly open it, I also needed the bolt lock fixed as it wasnt clicking into the hole very well and he fixed 2 other interior doors because they werent clicking in the hole to keep doors closed either. He, David F., did say that wood tends to swell & for the exterior door it would be good to install a storm door. He, David F., did a good job was very professional! Was not charged for exterior door repair. I would definitely recommend this company!!

UPDATE - Budget Right came out again in January and Elvis Seric did work on my house to get it ready to go on the market. He was here for a day and a half to fix cracks in my ceiling, paint the ceiling, paint an accent wall, fix my sink, recaulk my tub, put on a new storm door, etc. The work he did was amazing and my house looks refreshed and ready to go on the market.The ceilings look new and fresh, the storm door is perfect and has been a godsend in this cold weather, the new wall looks great and ties the room together, and he found a major issue with my sink/faucet that I would have had to fix in a home inspection. Instead he took care of it for me. I recommend Budget Right for all your workExcellent work! My above the range microwave went out. After Home Depot made me feel dumb and tried to upsell me, I called Budget Right and purchased a microwave from Amazon. They were able to come out within days of being called.I live on the third floor of a walk up and they were able to remove my old microwave and dispose of it, carry up the new one and install it. I had a tricky install as the new microwave was a half inch longer and my backsplash was in the way. Andy Szymanski and Art Cardona created a solution mounting plywood to my wall for the microwave to attach to.Great and timely service! This was my 4th time using them and it wont be the last!

I have used Budget Right Handyman 4 times for different needs and each time they exceed my expectations with the quality of technicians. This time was Luiz Martinez. I had an outlet that smelled like smoke. Hcame out and identified the problem immediately. He then checked other nearby outlets to ensure the problem wasnt in any other areas. He drove to the store and bought the parts, came back and made the fix. All in an hour and a half (saving me $$ from having to pay for additional hours). He was also early for the appointment and was very easy to chat with. I would recommend him to anyone!

I have used Budget Rite Handyman on numerous occasions, and I keep coming back because I am very happy with the work thats done. I have been a long time user of Budget Right Handyman and I cannot come up with the proper words to say how satisfied I have been with them. I am a full time working mom of two and so my hands are always full and never have time to fix things around the house myself. I recently set up an appointment with them to install a brand new vanity along with a couple floating shelves around the house and an in will bookcase. First of all, it was EASY to book my appointment. Second of all the staff and the technician Luis that came out was EXTREMELY respectful and professional. Third of all, he got done under the amount of time I was quoted and LASTLY HE CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF!!!! Like I mentioned, I have two kids and I am always cleaning up after them so not having to clean up after somebody else is always a plus. The prices are very flexible and I definitely reccomend these guys to anyone that needs handyman services. I have been using them for a total of a year and I haven’t had one single disappointment.
