    Jon was great at explaining what the team could do for us, and Carlos and Fernando followed through with flying colors! We need two dedicated outlets in the garage and multiple bathroom fans replaced. The work was completed with no drywall damage (awesome!), and they were able to set up the functions of the bathroom fans on separate switches. Highly recommended!

    Mike, John, and Chris did a great job. Arnold Electric came out multiple times for different phases of a large project. From demoing old electric, to installing a new panel and exterior outlets, as well as new piping and canned lighting, they did a great job each time. On time, friendly, and quality work. They also have a discount program. Will use them again.

    I needed to have 7 panels replaced in our building. Arnold Electrical is awesome. I scheduled a time for the estimator to come out and take a look at what needed to be done. As I have gotten other quotes Arnold Electrical was the best/lowest. Eric explained in detail what was needed and why. I accepted the quote and scheduled for his team to start the project asap.Brady, John, Mike arrived at the building exactly on time and we discussed what was going to happen on this day. They each picked an apartment and started working. These guys are very good at what they do. They completed more than I thought, and when finished they cleaned all the debris, vacuumed the area and took all the debris with them.Again 5 stars for Arnold Electrical and when I need any more electrical work done they will get the call.

    We had a fantastic experience with Arnold Electric. We would use them again and highly recommend them. We have a 1929 house and wanted someone who specialized in older homes. From the initial meeting with Jonathan who helped us determine our needs, to the work done by Nick, Sam, Carlos and Fernando, we could not be happier. They were professional, courteous, helpful and clearly knew what they were doing. So glad we found them!

    We called Arnold Electrical Services in the middle of our basement remodel to help replace our old lights and make the basement brighter. Brady and Carlos were very punctual and efficient. They did a great job and were very helpful in answering our questions. It was the second or third time we have worked with them and would call them in the future.

    We bought our nearly 100 yr old home a few years ago with the understanding that many of the systems needed to be upgraded and/or fully replaced. Fast forward to a couple months ago we started seeing fluctuations in power which turned out to be a result of electrical arcing in the 50+yr old service panel. Had received a couple of estimates for panel replacement but the timelines for replacement were weeks to months out. I then called Arnold, they came out the next day for an evaluation of the problem, and quoted me that day. Their quote was in the ballpark of the other quotes and they were able to do the work within a week. We accepted and shortly after, we received a call notifying us that a cancellation opened a spot the next day for the work to occur. We were very happy to have the work done ASAP so we agreed to the new appointment. Chris and Mike came out before 8 am, and worked diligently over the next 6 hours to install the new service panel and accompanying outside work. They were very professional, they did quality work, and cleaned up after themselves. Very happy with the work and the price. Excellent communication with everyone associated with the company. Will definitely use Arnold again in the future for any electrical work we need. Thank you!!

    “Great Service from Brady!”Brady from Arnold Electrical Services did an excellent job installing my EcoFlow electrical panel. He was on time, friendly, and explained everything clearly. The installation was done professionally, and he made sure everything worked perfectly before he left. I’m very happy with the service and would highly recommend Brady for any electrical work!

    We live in a 100-year-old building that wasnt insulated when it was remolded. We struggled to keep our second bedroom with 5 windows warm. We got an estimate and our tech Albert came out a few weeks later to install a baseboard heater. There was a small miscommunication so he had to reschedule. We figured we wouldnt hear back for weeks. But he was able to come back the next day and get our heater installed! He was friendly and helpful and explained theres a 5-year warranty. Were super happy we got this done and glad we went with an electrician instead of a handyman!

    Arnold was great for my home EV charger install. I needed to upgrade my main panel and add the charger. It was a very smooth process.John was great and helpful for the estimate, and Fernando and Jeff were both excellent. They were helpful, fast, and pleasant. They were able to answer questions and able to make a slight modification day-of. Ill definitely work with them in the future.

    Recently had a level 2 EV charger installed in my garage. Every step from quote to scheduling to install was great.Jon was very knowledgeable when walking through my options versus other companies that just wanted to do it their way and leave me with a huge repair bill afterwards.Fernando and Albert were quick and professional installers and didnt leave a mess!

    Great experience. These folks took a look at previous work, identified a few issues, suggested fixes, and fixed them! Two technicians, Nick and Fernando, improved different parts of my electrical panel, grounded it, made my hot tub safer, and added GFI to my panel. They also added insulation to my panel so weather wouldnt affect it. They were very sweet and professional and completed the work pretty quickly. Thank you both :3

    Tony W provided excellent customer service yesterday. After having an “issue” with a circuit breaker, it turned out to be a customer error — mine! Tony was very gracious about it.     Sam, Carlos, Alex, Fernando and Jeff came out and did our complete rewire in about five days. Wires were almost 100 years old and it was a lathe and plaster house so was really impressed they were able to get it done so quickly having to saw through all that old material to put in new boxes and conduit! Sam even came back out again to move two outlets we decided to move. Excited to see all our new lights put to work after we finish dry walling and have them come out again for a trim day! Great communication and solid work ethic! Highly recommend these guys.Update: Jeff and Johnny came back out to finish everything post drywall repair and painting and the lights look great!

    We recently moved in to an older home, and the team at Arnold Electrical came out and did a free safety inspection for us. John did our inspection and was thorough and informative. A few days later, Brady came out and performed the services we needed. He hung some new fans, installed a new outlet, sealed a water leak in our breaker box, and replaced all the breakers. He was very knowledgeable, quick, professional, and friendly. We still have a laundry list of electrical to-dos to tackel, and we will certainly be using Arnold Electrical for all our electrical needs going forward!

    Repeat customer of Arnold Electrical for a reason, They are the Best. Dealing with the office staff (Jessica)who returns calls and emails promptly. The electricians that come out to do the work are professionals. On Aug 9 2024 Jon, Nick and Carlos came out to install new can lights in our first floor living room. They alert you when they are on the way and arrive on time. They explained the work they were doing and took steps to protect the floor and furniture. They explained that since there was no attic access they would have to make cuts in the ceiling to run wiring. The ceiling repair is at our cost.They asked our input on can placement. The clean up was great, would not know they were even here. We were so happy with how that came out we had additional can light installed in our dining room, kitchen, and 2nd floor hallway (attic access so no cuts). On August 20 and 21st Jeff, Sam, Carlos, and Alex came out for this job. While doing the work they again take precautions to protect the flooring and furniture. While Jeff rewired parts of the house that had old cloth wiring, Sam, Carlos and Alex started on the can lighting As last time they thoroughly explained everything involved, including making cuts in the ceiling to run cables for the can lights. The ceiling repair is our responsibility. They supplied the names drywall contractors for estimates, our choice. Once the holes are patched we are repainting the rooms. On the 2nd floor hallway there was attic access so no cuts for cables. For each room they consulted us on can light placement. The can lights make a big difference , it improves the whole feel of the room. Adds value to the house. Well worth it. Highly recommended. We are planning a future project and will use Arnold electric again.

    Nick and Johnny installed our EV charger for us and the install was very smooth despite having to dig a trench from our house to the garage and run a new conduit for the wiring. It was a very cold day and they were still able to get this done for us. Would definitely recommend.

    Tony Wilburn just left my condo in Lakeview in Chicago after a couple of hours of electrical work. He inspected the entire condo and found a few items that needed taken care of. The main thing was installing a dimmer for our living room, but he also replaced the outlet in our bathroom on the mirror, installed closet lights that are motion censored and installed an outlet projector on our balcony that will protect the outlet from weather. Tony has a great attitude and a friendly demeanor and I would highly recommend his services for electrical work. Fast, thorough and fair.

    I recently had a team from Arnold out to do a full rewire of my house. Theres 4 stories, and the team went floor by floor, very efficiently and diligently handling what needed to be done. Some of the wiring on each floor needed to be replaced and some not. They were very conscientious in keeping the wall intrusions to a minimum where possible, and always informing and explaining the reason for them.     We had a few small jobs we needed done- a fan installation, some dimmer switches and to have a light moved. The first electrician we called never showed to give us a quote because they were too busy. Arnold as a whole was super responsive and came out to quote us within a couple of days. They inspected our electrical in general and found that our main breaker was melting. We weren’t thrilled with the added work but were glad this was caught before it was an emergency. Derek who came out to quote didn’t try to sell us on anything but simply gave his opinion and a menu of options for us to pick from depending how much work we wanted done and when. I thought the pricing was fair, not the cheapest but not ridiculously expensive either. For the actual job - Nick showed up on time and was super efficient replacing our panel so we were not without power for long. He completed the rest of the work just as quickly. As someone who reads through reviews endlessly before hiring and is very picky, Nick did an incredible job and I plan to stick with Arnold electric for any future electrical needs.

    I highly recommend Arnold Electric! We hired Arnold Electric to install two outdoor outlets and install power underneath our sink for a garbage disposal.     I called Arnold Electric Services because of the high star rating, and I was not disappointed. It is very nerve racking looking for companies to work with for home services because of all of the horror stories you hear. But I was surprised and pleased with my experience from beginning to end. We had a laundry list of work that needed done, and ended up with a longer list because cloth wiring was found which we decided should be replaced. All of my questions were listened to, heard, and answered to a degree that never left me feeling like I wasnt being told everything. I spoke to a couple of different people at the company to schedule appointments and both of them were very polite, listened to me, and thoroughly answered the questions I had regarding financing. Derek was sent out for a free consultation to take a look at the work we needed done and quoted us for our projects. Tony, Robert, and Carlos were the electricians who eded up doing the work. Tony was a great lead and let me know what was happening through the whole process. Prior to each appointment a text message was sent, letting me know the name(s) of the person or people on their way out as well as photos so I knew who to expect. This is a simple but very reassuring step that I hadnt expected and I think every company should be doing. Everyone was very professional and answered all of my questions. I also appreciated the digital systems that the company uses to organize their scheduling, quotes, and payments. It was all seemless and meant every person I spoke to knew what was going on.I expect that they do cost more than some companies as some reviews have mentioned, but I am a firm believer that, you get what you pay for, and I will be back in the future if I have any other electrical needs.

    Chris from Arnold Electric Service came today to replace 13 ancient outlets with new child-safe outlets. It was a challenge dealing with old wiring, plaster, and painted-over sockets and wall plates, but he rose to the occasion!     Sam and an assistant-I believe it was Yarro, were at my home to add two outlets, a panel surge protector, and hang an unusual fixture. Very happy with the estimator that came out initially, and with Sams fantastic communication. I let the techs in, but had an offsite meeting to be at, so I was very appreciative that Sam called me as things progressed and texted photos of the work once completed. They also left the area as clean as it was when they arrived-that is a first for an electrician. Other companies I have had do work seem to just love leaving cut off wire ends everywhere.     I have used Arnold Electric for three projects at my house over the past four years. They are so easy to work with. They arrive when they say theyll be there, and they keep you advised of their ETA. The workers are knowledgable and pleasant to deal with. As a single senior, I feel safe; meaning t dont feel like Im being taken for a ride. They dont try to up-sell by recommending additional work. In fact, a recent project wound up being much simpler than anticipated and they refunded me a portion of the deposit I gave them because the resulting work was half of what was expected!     I called Arnold Electric because my microwave kept tripping the circuit breaker and I was hearing buzzing. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very nice and explained the process and scheduled Yaro to come out to take a look. Yaro was punctual and very thorough in his inspection. He was able to diagnose the issue and move the microwave to another switch to avoid this issue. He also was very attentive to my other random questions that came up. Full panel replacement, a new mast, many GFCIs, a full circuit audit and labeling, troubleshooting some mysterious previous choices with basement light fixtures, and getting my home back to code... not only did they do all this work thoroughly, but its clear they enjoyed the process.     Highly Recommend AESIf you want professional, skilled and knowledgeable electricians, look no further than Arnold Electrical Services. My problem were blinking lights in both bathrooms and kitchen. The cause was electrical power surges due to an old and faulty electrical panel.A free 32-point safety inspection was done, which confirmed the problem. When the electricians arrived (on time) to replace the panel, they were pleasant and answered my questions in layman’s terms.Albert was especially helpful as he noticed a lightbulb was out in the basement and volunteered to change it as well as install a smoke/carbon dioxide detector that was still in the box. He also cleaned up after the job was completed, leaving my place better than when he found it.The best part was the job was reasonably priced, and AES is now my company of choice for all electrical needs.

They provided excellent, timely service and unilaterally saved us nearly $1,000 from the estimate by making adjustments on the fly. They also fixed a bunch of little things that were annoying me and put in a dedicated circuit for a couple of full-size video games (that will annoy my wife).     Our experience with AES was great from start to finish. They were so quick to call after I put in an request and were able to fit us in within just a couple days. They even had to switch service guys for the initial call due to some car trouble and Jon still made it out in the original window that was scheduled! Jon and Eric were so great to work with and after Jons consult, he was able to get Eric in to do the fix same day. Both were on time, so incredibly kind, and professional. Jon recommended adding a surge protector in our breaker box that could save us a lot of money down the line and was something that was missed in our inspection when purchasing our home. Eric found a breaker had been tripped which we didnt know about-but it actually fixed another minor issue we had that was unrelated to our original call. Service was fast and done right. Cant recommend this service and these guys enough!

    I called Arnold Electric to look into an issue I was having with my coffee maker and some appliances being shut off randomly. Jon did a full home inspection and found several items that were safety concerns like the lack of a home surge protector or grounding. Upon further investigation, they concluded the issue was with the power coming into the house, contacted Comed, and they had the issue resolved within a couple of hours.     Our garage lost power and we knew about Arnold from some friends and from research about their services. Several Arnold workers communicated with us, made an assessment and finally did the required work. Tim handled the intake call with great professionalism and was very helpful with his suggestions and clearly wanted to help us as much as possible. Scheduling and confirming was easy, alls one through an automated system but with easy to reach human workers just a phone call away. Derek came out to do the assessment at our place and outlined several options for updating several code related issues (and costs) in addition to detailing the plan and costs for installing a new underground line to the garage. He went over each option and explained the purpose and procedure for all of the work that was proposed and answered all of my questions. Then, Eric V. Came out with a couple other guys to dig the trench and install the new garage line as well as do the other proposed work inside by the panel. The job went really smooth and everything works and looks great. Of particular importance was Erics and the whole teams willingness to dig the trench and route the garage conduit in such a way that our nice patio and stone installation didnt have to be moved or changed at all. The workers at Arnold took our concerns about this very seriously and even collaborated with me personally by considering an annotated picture layout I sent via email which explained some of the layout and situations on our property in more detail. All in all I cant recommend these guys more highly. I felt very comfortable working with them and having them on the property. I guess weve got our building electricians!

    After using Arnold Electric for a small job, we were so pleased that we hired them to upgrade the unsafe old cloth wiring throughout our entire house. It took 3 days to do the work. While it was a big job, I felt really comfortable having the team in my house. All 3 electricians, Vince, Yaro and Jeff, were friendly, focused, hard-working and knowledgeable. They were also great about cleaning up at the end of each day. Jeff, the lead electrician, put creative thought into what type of switches and lighting worked best in each room based on our needs. As a result, we got more out of the process than we would have thought...switches in more convenient locations, dimmers that I now use all the time, outdoor security lights set at the perfect setting, etc...     I hired Arnold Electric Services after comparing information from their website to other sites. I liked that it was a family business and had been around for many years. Tim, the owner, was very personable and clear about how the business operates. Eric was able to update the wiring to the front door so we could get a google nest doorbell to work.     After a broken pipe led to wall removals in our 100+ yr old house, we discovered lots of unsafe electrical problems within our walls and ceilings. Arnold electrical was one of the few companies that actually called me back when we were looking for someone to fix everything. We were so impressed by their responsiveness, communication, and process in just giving us a quote, that we choose them to repair and replace everything. They ended up replacing our electrical panel, adding a sub panel to the garage, properly dug a trench and buried a conduit for our garage electric, installed an outdoor outlet, installed a light fixture in our stairwell, placed exposed wires in conduit, and completely rewired our house. We worked with two different teams and two other individuals from Arnold throughout this whole process. John did our initial assessments. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and took his time listening to our concerns. Justin did our panel inspection, along with the city inspector. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Mary, the receptionist, was always friendly and responsive, and set up the city inspection and permit for the work. Jeff and his team did the rewiring and garage. They were always on time, did an initial vacuum clean up afterwards, cleaned up their mess everyday, and even brought treats for my dog on the last. Our only complaint is that we felt we were not adequately prepared for how many holes they had to make to do the rewire. Maybe they didn’t know until they actually started? Despite that, we are very satisfied with their services. They were pricey, but prices seemed on par with other local companies. Their communication, promptness, that they actually showed up on time every time, and that they coordinated the city permit and inspection were well worth the money.
