Ray replaced our hot water heater last week. It stopped working the night before, but we called State Plumbing Service in the morning. He came by the check it out within the hour. He came back that same afternoon and did the replacement, including some updates required, all for 20% less than a competitor quoted the night before (that other contractor was not willing to even come look at it, btw). He set it to the same settings as our old heater, and it is working great. As many have said also, he is polite and courteous. He takes care in your home. Highly recommend Ray!

Pressure reducing valve replacement: Great customer service and excellent workmanship. Came to my house on time with 20 minute heads up. Very nice and courteous man I have ever encountered in all service calls. I have sat in while he was doing the replacement work, and have witnesseed thorough, and very detailed work. I called state plumbing at 9pm, I didn’t know why my faucet wouldn’t turn off. I explained to him what is happening. Ray came within 20 minutes and already knew the problem. He fixed the problem in 10 minutes. Ray was professional and I could tell he has years of experience. Ray will be my plumber for the rest of my life! Highly recommend

I am very happy with the work done by State Plumbing Company (Mr. Ray) replacing our water heater. I am pleased that he completed the job in a timely fashion and made sure that everything was clean before leaving the work area. He even offered to pick up the newWater heater i bought from home depot. He was prompt in responding to phone calls. He was very polite and trustworthy. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a plumber and would definitely hire him again when issues arise regarding plumbing.

2017 update: Had Ray look at what I was told by my sprinkler company was slow leak in the ball valve to my irrigation line. He informed me that there was water stuck after the check valve, relieved the pressure and drained the excess water. Again, rather than fix something not broken, saved me a bunch of money and earned my trust. Thanks again State Plumbing!Ray is available, honest and reasonable and does solid work. Were repeat customers - he fixed a broken pipe, slow leak on the main and tub faucet.

I bought a home that came with an incorrectly installed water heater that ended up leaking (see attached) largely due to a missing drip pan. Because the unit was old and it was more trouble to install the drip pan and other parts by lifting the existing water heater, I called around to get water heater quotes.I went with Ray at State Plumbing because he was the most responsive and was able to provide a quote over the phone. He came the same week of me calling and installed a new water heater ~$200 less than what other plumbers were charging. Very happy with his work, professionalism, and I will be using him again for future plumbing needs around the house.

We will definitely be giving Ray our business for all of our future plumbing needs. We moved into a home and within the first couple days we had a leak in the main pipe from our kitchen sink. We called Ray due to his high Google reviews (now we know they are not unwarranted), and he was able to come within an hour. He assessed what needed to be done, and even told my husband how to do it himself and what parts he would need if we wanted to save the money. He also quoted us $100 less if we took out the sheetrock ourselves.We ended up telling him that we didnt need his services because the problem was supposed to have been covered by our home warranty. We waited a week for their plumbers to come out and tell us that not only would they not cover the repairs, but it would cost way more than Ray had quoted us.We decided to call him back, and he was able to come first thing the next day. He stayed and made sure that the leak was completely resolved, and charged us $100 less, even though he took the sheetrock out himself.He was very kind, professional, and does his work with integrity---not that easy to find these days! I would recommend him to anyone.

Such an honest, professional, and completely trustworthy person. As a U.S. Army officer, I have nothing but absolute respect for this individual. Would recommend to anyone.
