    If youre looking for peace of mind, John Plumbing is the company I recommend. I had to have my fluid master, flapper, and bolts replaced. I had called several places to come out because the toilet was constantly running, and none were available for same-day appointments. It was a minor emergency that I could no longer keep with a temporary fix. I found John Plumbing through Home Dept Pro Referral and was impressed with how fast John followed up. After researching different contractors, I reached out to John. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough.     John replaced a pressure relief valve for the main water line in my home. It was actively leaking water into my pantry, so he came to inspect it the same day.     Home Depot,Reached out John has one of the contractors who works for Home Depot. I had about 6 contractors who name that was given to me. John was the first contractor who reach out to me. I needed a water line ran to the new refrigerator I was receiving. John and I spoke and we setup a time to come over Monday morning. John was on time and he came in and checked the waterline. We discovered there was already a waterline there and he didn’t need to do anything. If I need any work done John will be the person I we’ll reach out to. Thanks John for you service.     Ive used John for multiple commercial projects in the DC Virginia area. Hes phenomenal. Always gives us a great price. Doesnt try to CO for everything. His guys show up and make deadlines. Whenever we have projects in his area (Sometimes he even travels out of his area for us)I know who to call. I wish he worked nation wide so we could use him more. We have our license in 41 states and I can honestly say he is the only plumber I trust.

    Extremely professional and communicative. I was shocked at the responsiveness and timeliness alone, but when he made a full assessment realized the scope of work was going to include more drywall than we imagined- he was careful to preserve the pieces to put back. Very very impressed by the level of detail- and despite taking longer than we estimated, still charged the same. This will be my only phone call next time I need plumbing.Oh… and at the end he knew I was going to do some work myself- so he stuck around to offer some advice on next steps, even leaving a few pieces of PVC just in case I needed references when I went to the hardware store.

    Our old water heater had had issues for a while and finally stopped working a few weeks ago. I contacted a few plumbers to give me a quote for a replacement, and I told the plumbers that I would like to pull a county permit for the job. According to the Fairfax County laws, replacing plumbing equipment requires a plumbing permit, but some plumbers told me they would not take the job if a permit was required. I ended up working with John because he was very professional, courteous, and willing to pull the county permit for me. On the day of the work, Johns workers arrived on time and did an excellent job replacing the water heater and cleaning up the work site. Johns price was not the cheapest, but I am very happy with his work.

    Our kitchen sink drain has been backing up sporadically over the past few months and it was completely clogged, not letting the water drain. I could not use the sink at all nor could I run the dishwasher that was connected to the drain. John came by within a few hours and surveyed the issue very thoroughly. He explained the possible cause of the clog and ensured us that the problem will be resolved. He used industrial grade clog remover gel and poured boiling water over the sink. Within 20 minutes, the backed up water in the sink drained completely and the pipe was unclogged. Thankfully we didnt have to remove any pipes or use machines to unclog the drain. John was very courteous throughout the process and professional with his service. I highly recommend John and his service for any plumbing issues at home.

    John and his team removed the old double vanity and installed the new double vanity which required cutting granite to fit in the existing space. They installed 2 new faucets (3 pieces each) and valves perfectly with no leaks. They were punctual, clean, they knew what they were doing and the work turned out beautiful. They finished in about three hours time which is exceptional considering that we added an incompletely installed additional sink vanity that was not factored into the original estimate, but which did not add significantly to the ending price and we were very happy and pleased with that. I would rate John R Plumbing more than 5 stars if I could, and will definitely count them for all my future plumbing needs.

    We needed an estimate for installation of a double vanity with two set of faucets and John gave us the most reasonable price. We ran into an unforeseen complication: the marble vanity countertop needed to be cut 1 inch shorter, but John managed to get a marble technician to do this job and they were able to accomplish all of the work.     John was very quick to respond and was able to help me with replacing and weatherizing a very old front hose bib, added an expansion tank on our water heater, and changing out a shower valve. He and his assistant were very efficient, friendly, and respectful.     I’m glad Home Depot referred John to me when I need to install two battery backup sum pumps. He offered good advices on batteries, and verified the products I purchased for me. He is prompt to return my messages. He is knowledgeable and pay attention to details to make sure the systems are working. On a second test, he found an issue (motor stuck due to pipe water pressure) and he was able to resolve it - had I hired some other plumber who just does one test, I would have major problems down the road. Timely and Efficient! You can tell he actually cares about his job and his craft. He wants to be sure your project is perfect because he cares. He isnt just about trying to get your money and charging you for every little thing- or things that you dont actually need.Our project was tricky to say the least. It was a full master bath remodel which included moving all the fixtures and dealing with old house not level floors and walls and the previous owners un-permitted work inside the walls. He navigated the project with skill and ease. Well it WASNT easy but he sure made it seem that way. We NEVER questioned his decisions or work. He was meticulous in his work, paid attention to detail and problem solved WITH us so we could get the outcome we were hoping for.     We are so lucky to have found John! He literally saved us from a disaster started with a contractor we had to part ways with. It was a challenging master bath remodel with every fixture being relocated and a tub added to a small bathroom. He navigated the tight space and found a way to get all the various pipes where they needed to go. His attention to detail and quality was very apparent in everything he did. He did not take any shortcuts and worked very hard to get everything installed according to our VERY particular specifications. He communicated promptly and asked questions to be sure it was exactly how we wanted everything.     What a nice surprise! We called several plumbers before and they charged us for taking a look even though they couldn’t figure out what the real problem was ( they kept asking us to fix this and that).I was referred to John by my friend and he was able to come out pretty quickly.     Our old water heater was overly corroded with rust and falling apart, leaking under the tile on the floor and couldve very well exploded in the near future. I honestly dont know anything about water heaters, who to contact about fixing or replacing one, but I always hear horror stories about the price as well. So I went on Google and found John R Plumbing, looked at many of the reviews from other clients and I couldnt find any bad ones at all, he is local to the Chantilly/Fairfax area so I figured hed be familiar with the types of water heaters that are installed in the homes. I made the right choice, from the first call he was polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable and responsive, what more could one ask for. The price was also very fair, especially during these hard financial times. I sent him pictures of the issue through text and within 2 days because of the memorial day weekend, he came out Tuesday with his crew and replaced not just one but two water heaters the first one had some sort of defective issue, but they went out and got another and did an excellent job, they also had to replace some of the old PVC piping and connectors with some copper, excellent soldering and placement adjacent to the valves. The pictures I uploaded really dont do justice to the workmanship. Not only that he explained all the work he completed and answered all my questions about the job and also about other parts that may need to be fixed in the future. A really nice guy, great worker who cares about the safety of me and my family. I really wish there were more workers in general with his work ethic. Today, John installed a countertop water dispenser at my business. One issue was the unit didnt fit between between the counter and the cabinets above. Instead of saying Ill come back when you raise the cabinets. John offered to move the cabinets and completed the entire installation in 2 hours.

Although hesitant to bother John, I was freaking out a bit, so I gave him a call. John, was truly concerned and said he felt he wouldnt feel right if he didnt take care of it ( even though it had nothing to do with the sale), so he turned around and came back.Although, I offered to just pay him like a normal plumbing job, John insisted he was happy to help. This coupled with his care and understanding of the Covad situation (gloves+mask), his responsiveness on a Offer Up transaction ( updating me on his time frame etc..), and caring attitude speaks volumes for him as a person, let a alone as a business. As such, I will be using John for a water filter and tank-less water heater project. I dont do many reviews, but I will return to update what will sure to be another great review.

    John was very nice, professional, and timely to deal with. I called him Friday after calling around to a number of plumbers in the area with a hot water heater issue at my townhouse. He was able to be on site to provide a fix within a couple hours notice. He mentioned the hot water heater would need to be replaced if the issue happened again. The fix lasted through the weekend, but the hot water heater had the same issue on Monday. John was able to be back at my townhouse that afternoon to replace the hot water heater.
