My second AC unit started blowing warm air today. I contacted Thomas at 8am and they sent a technician, James, out at 3pm and within the window promised. He tested the unit and said it was a bad capacitor. This was good news as capacitor repairs are much less expensive than repairing or replacing parts for my system. He gave me the option to buy the part and repair it myself if I was comfortable (I am relatively handy) or he could get the part an install it.This was music to my ears, a technician that is not out to try to sell me a new unit because my unit is old or sell me stuff I dont need.I happened to have a capacitor so I decided to switch it out myself. He even gave me tips on how to make sure I tighten the contacts and stay safe! My AC is working now and I only had to pay the service fee which was well worth it.I asked James how long he has worked for Thomas and why he switched from two other well known companies that I have heard of, and he said he likes the culture of just doing what is right for the customer. The other companies train techs to be their salesforce and turn every service call into maximizing sales and selling what benefits the company not the individual.At Thomas their technicians do what is right for the customer, I highly recommend them if you want an honest service with an honest recommendation and reasonable prices.Now it makes sense to me why the bigger franchise companys advertise to go out for no charge, its because their goal is to make up that service charge with hundreds or thousands of unnecessary repairs.Thanks again for running a business with integrity, I think in the long run you will attract better technicians that take pride in their vocation and can sleep at night knowing they didnt rip anyone off and always do whats right.Bravo!

I returned from a vacation to find my upstairs Goodman air conditioning unit was not blowing cool air. This was a big deal given the record heat wave. I am a big-time researcher when it comes to anything I purchase so the clock was ticking.So I first went to Yelp to find a highly rated company and assess the issue. That technician with two decades of experience said I had to replace the whole unit (Starting at $10K up to $16K) because it was a freon leak and even though he couldnt find it, it would likely happen again with a repair.FORTUNATELY I got a second opinion from a neighbor who recommended Thomas. Their technician, Riley, came out immediately and actually took the time to find the actual leak. He said there was no evidence of the prior technician opening some of the key panels of the evaporator unit in my attic to find the root cause.Riley was friendly and professional and spent 30 minutes in the heat of the attic to find the location of the freon leak and he shoed me a video and images. He then gave me 3 options and then shared candidly which option he would take and why. To my surprise the option he recommended was no the most profitable one for the company, it was to switch out a component and their labor and the component would be under warranty.His solution cost me $7,000 less than the alternative of getting a new unit! His team arrived the next day, they laid out a tarp and got to work. 6 hours later my house was blowing cold air and the upstairs was starting to cool down.I just wanted to say that I appreciate the integrity of any family business that puts the customer first and does not just push their employees to make the biggest sale but rather has them do the right thing as if they were spending their own money.Thank you Thomas Home Services, you are doing something right with your culture and your employee training. They say the best ability is availability and Thomas Home Services saved my butt on the Monday before Thanksgiving. Everybody else said they couldnt make it out until the following week. My surprise water leak at the meter Monday morning was going to cause all kind of havoc over the holiday but Thomas to the rescue.Emily was great to work with to schedule and Kevin made sure the job was done right. Highly recommended.

I had ac tune up done with them few years ago and now. They are extremely genuine and trustworthy. Our technician is Casey and he is super honest and friendly. Provided all the details with pictures, explained and gave some genuine recommendations and I’m pretty sure he is trustworthy. Not at all pushy. People like this are asset to the company. If I ever want to get service done to my HVAC, I will definitely choose them

I used Thomas Home Service for an HVAC tune-up. This has been my second time using them without home warranty because calling them directly is less expensive. They were prompt with returning calls and arrival time. My technician was knowledgeable, thorough and professional. Although I will have home warranty cover repairs, I was offered a great deal through Thomas. I appreciate the value in the tune-up and will use them again in the future!UPDATE: I used Thomas Home to tune-up my 22 year-old original HVAC system again this spring. My original system was cheaply done and was falling apart. Casey was the gentleman who came out for the tune-up. He was thorough with regard to all the improvements needed and could back it up with photos and good reason. Casey also offered me a great price to change out my old HVAC system with a new, more powerful one, in addition to duct cleaning and vent detailing.Corey and Jeff were the gentleman that changed the system & cleaned the ducts. They were very respectful to my dogs. I felt comfortable with them in my home. They were both professional, efficient, detailed and they cleaned up after themselves. They tested the unit and it works so well, I wish I had invested sooner!

I called for a quote for replacing my entire A/C unit Tuesday morning. They sent a tech out immediately to give me an accurate quote within one hour! The tech sent me a link so I could track his arrival. Very nice. I received a reasonably quote considering it was 113 degrees and had no real time to shop around. I didn’t want my tenants to suffer. Anyway, I finagle the price just a little bit so I could tell my wife I got a good deal. Thomas Home Service said they could give me six months interest-free which was a big help. They also said they had the unit I wanted in stock and could install it first thing in the morning. The staff at Thomas was very helpful and kind throughout the install process. So within 24 hours, I have a brand new AC unit installed at a reasonable price with six months to pay it off with no interest. Casey and Emily were great. Casey and Riley were reliable friendly and very professional. They demonstrated excellent ethics in every aspect of the appointment. First off they honored our HOA rules by not stepping on the tiles when going on the roof. Secondly they honored our neighbors by asking permission to use their balcony. Lastly, Casey explained everything he saw to me using pictures and good analogies that ensured that I properly understood the issues he discovered and he did not try to pressure me into making a fast decision. Highly recommend this company. They are locally owned which is a plus and they were extremely accommodating in my situation.The AC at my house went out on Monday morning and with my wife being 38 weeks pregnant, we were a bit panicked about staying at home.I was put in contact with Thomas Home Services through my home warranty and once they received the work order they got someone out ASAP. Big shout out to Emily who was extremely empathetic of our situation and was able to get approval to have Riley the technician come out a day early to fix the issue.Riley was very professional, communicative and knowledgeable. He was polite entering the house and walked me thru all of the possible reasons for the issue until he found it and then applied a quick fix. I called Thomas home services after feeling cool air instead of warm when my heat I had change the thermostat up to 75 Wednesday night. They promptly dispatch someone the same day to my home. Bryan was the HVAC technician they sent and was I glad he quickly analyzed what the problem was up on the roof. He went out without a hesitation and returned. He told me in simple terms. What the problem was. He was professional and told me what he was going to do and how he was saving money and how I would save money on my heating bill. I wanted to give it time so I could see and feel if what he did worked. Last night, I was happy and comfortable that Heating what is providing heat, but it wasn’t running constantly like before. On one at around 2 AM for short intervals the temperature was comfortable. I had it set at 70 this morning it came on. It’s working great. Brian is an excellent professional technician amiable. Nice and agile. He was not able to get up on that roof two or three times he fixed it I highly recommend him. Home services without hesitation.

We could not be any happier with the service received. We were told by another company who cleaned the vents that our ducts were leaking air and needed to be sealed. James inspected our ducts and advised the duct work was in good condition and did not require sealing. He also advised that we did not need insulation ( recommended by another company). Man... I cannot say enough good things about this company! Our AC went out a couple weeks ago, and we had been fighting with the home warranty company about getting it replaced ( since it literally caught fire and was dead dead) with no luck. Thomas had come to our home before in order to complete minor ac repairs, and they were extremely professional. When I called to explain to them Thursday 6/17/21 it had been since the Sunday before that my kids and I had no ac, They immediately transferred me to Jerome the field supervisor, he listened to the struggle we were having and instantly helped! Jerome took time to make sure we had a new ac unit out hereby today 6/18/21, Tyler, Angel, Roy, and Mateo ALL came to the rescue today! This company has earned customers for life. Kitchen sinks blocked ..Israel the plumber did a great job; +fingers! Courteous and pleasant. Great customer service!The only stressful encounter was the two day waiting as first day not able to show up due to Israel having another plumbing emergency. Understood. April 12th.April 13th was supposed to be here between 11 and 2 pm did not show up until after 5pm. It is understood that many times plumbing situations and emergencies do come up but once Israel showed up he was very professional and courteous.And got the job done efficiently. After a 2 day wait almost, job was done within the hour. Im sure if my situation was drastic it would have been treated on an urgent basis but water filling up in kitchen sinks with odor and residue is kind of hard to tolerate.!The plumber Israel gets an A!

He was determined to fix the leak at the bottom of the unit where the air comes up through the roof and he had to crawl under the unit on the roof, like working under a car on his back. Terry was great. I read some of the reviews on Yelp and was a little worried and not looking for to the experience but when Terry arrived he did a great job. He was very professional, he did an evaluation of the system and told me what the problem was. He installed a new thermostat because the old one was not sending a signal to the unit. He connected everything and made sure it turned on and work properly. He gave me his information and let me know if we had any other problems to give him a call. He also let me know that my units were older, coming up on 14 years and would need to be replaced in the near future and if we needed help with that he’s our guy. I would use Thomas Home Services again if they are sending out Terry.

We have used Thomas Home Services multiple times over the last fifteen years keeping our AC unit functioning in the hot AZ summers. When we finally decided to buy a whole new unit a few months ago, we shopped around trying to find the best deal for the money. Will Thomas came in with a very competitive bid. His workers replaced our entire unit outside and up in the attic in one several hour visit, evening adding an extra worker in the late afternoon to insure the job was finished that day. Our new unit is quieter, more efficient, and the wireless thermostat they installed allows us to control the ac from our phones.

I called Professors of Plumbing & Air on Tuesday and they were able to accomodate me with my work schedule and have someone out on Thursday evening. While you are waiting for your technician to arrive the company provides a link so you can see where your driver is located and how far away!Jerome, the technician, called me when he was on his way and once he arrived. He was very polite and informative. The problem just happened to be some wiring with the new thermostat. He was able to correct the issue and took the time to explain to me what he was doing. Mateo came out to our condo and worked on the AC unit that several prior techs came out and worked on. We had problems with water leakage, cooling, and overall loudness/rattling. One of the prior techs from the company came out and did some work on the cooling aspect, then we had a water leak as well, so a tech (who is no longer with the company) came out and took the entire unit out to clean it. Unfortunately, some of it was put back together wrong, a couple of screws went missing, and it wasnt cleaned well. (Most likely why that tech is no longer with the company). Anyways, Mateo came and figured out the problems immediately. He explained everything to us, cleaned everything THOROUGHLY, tightened everything up, and it became quieter than I thought possible! He was an amazing tech and an incredibly nice person. I cant recommend him highly enough!! Thanks Mateo!

How do you spell Angel? As of this past Monday, I spell it Alex Thammaronga, the air conditioning technician from Thomas Home Services. My AC was totally dead and in a manufactured home it was becoming an oven. Alex was not only efficient, knowledgeable, and professional, he went above and beyond explaining the problem and options. Never once did he try to up sell or add services. He understood my specific problems, called his supervisor for options, and promised to get me the best resolution and the best price possible. WHICH IS WHAT HAPPENED THE SAME EVENING! Alex kept his promise and the Thomas company is everything you would want in a AC repair company. I wish they sold used cars too. Lol. Their motto should be the GOLDEN RULE because that is their philosophy. Love them.

Great experience with Dennis and team from Thomas Home Services. Called and he came the same day to fix the leak from my water heater. The whole team was responsive and communicated well despite my frustrating home warranty company. Both Dennis and their front office waited on hold with the warranty company multiple times for long periods of time. I was impressed with their persistence and professionalism and Dennis did a great job fixing the water heater! I will use Thomas Home Services again and ask for Dennis!

A very unfortunate call on 4th of July weekend resulted in some quick and efficient work by Thomas Home Services, we had to wait for the darn home warranty to set it up but when they finally allowed Thomas Home Services to help, boy did they. I believe the first person that came out was Elam, For a couple years now we have had issues with our AC, I told Elam all about it and he took everything I told him and proceeded to examine every single working part of our AC, took apart panels to fully inspect and taking pictures to show me, pictures with a timestamp to show me he had just taken them, very happy he fully informed us of a major underlying issue, our AC was very very old and went over some repair options we could try but in the long run just more bandaids that would not be enough, so he put us in contact with Scott to help us go over some options to replace whole system, we are very happy with the financing option we took, Scott did wait for both my wife and I to be home to call us but called only to ask if he could just stop by, very nice to have a conversation about such a major purchase in person. This was on Monday, He promised us Thursday but made a couple calls and was able to get us the install on Tusday. The installer Gabriel and the other guy, I didnt catch is name only noticed the accent, Cajun perhaps, got to my house at 930 am, worked all day until 7pm ,until we had cold air blowing thru our vents. They did it all in triple digit heat, we are very thankful. Today we had a visit by Mateo Vazquez, he performed some adjustments to the system and helped educate us on how certain parts of the AC work and what things can lead to bigger issues, made me feel like our home and family are in his best interest, this kind of leadership and customer service is not taught, its something that comes from experience and thoughtfulness, both of which you can tell Mateo has, thank you sir. All of the Thomas Home Services associates have been outstanding, from being in full professional uniform with our initial service technician to the fellas that look like they work in an office but arent afraid to get dirty and ensure quality service, THANK YOU, to everyone involved in getting things right, we look forward to continuing our service and repair needs with Thomas Home Services.

Called THS and they came out the next morning. Brian was fantastic, installed smart thermostat and we had to replace transformer because its an old system. Did some other tests while in the AC and realized compressor was pulling very low amps. Installed a compressor saver. Had all parts ready to go. Will use THS again.
