Soon after buying a new home, we had Matt’s Plumbing line our sewer and fix some issues at the main. WOW! I absolutely recommend this company. Matt was incredible and so knowledgeable. He spent a great deal of time answering all of our questions and the work he and his team did was top tier. They were so clean and respectful of our house, too! The kind of service we experienced was rare in this day and age. They are now our go-to folks!

Sewer drain was backing up into the path of least resistance which happened to be the bathtub. I called 1st am and they were able to get someone out by early afternoon. They communicated a tentative appointment, then confirmed, texted when they were in route, called me with the assessment and a plan, confirmed repair was completed and explained what caused the problem. Everyone I dealt with was professional and I didnt once think that they were taking advantage of my situation. This is my rental property and I live 1500 miles away. I rely on dependable and honest contractors when I have property problems. Im definitely keeping their contact information for future reference. Highly recommended!

There’s nothing like having your finished basement flood with sewer water and learning the culprit is a severely-compromised sewer line, needing full repair/replacement. Jim and Matt made what is a painfully spendy, but necessary, process as smooth as possible. I’m very grateful they were able to line my existing pipe after several spot repairs, to avoid any digging. I’d absolutely recommend these folks to anyone. Thank you!

Joe came out and fixed a faucet that was leaking from a newly installed washer. (My fault, I cracked the sucker trying to get the old ones off.) Joe was very professional, started trying the easy and cheap fixes first, but once we found the Crack, he explained the price to fix and what was needed. I will admit the price was a little high, but at the same time, you get what you pay for in these cases. I havent had any more issues, unlike when I used a handyman. Will use again.

Matt came out to give us a quote on replacing the gas pipe in our home. The pipe was over 60 years old and had small leaks at the joints. He was on time for the appointment and was able to schedule our work quickly. On the scheduled day, we received a text message from Jim, along with his picture when he was on the way. Jim also called to let us know what time he would arrive. The work was done quickly and very well. Jim and his partner did a great job of cleaning up when the job was done. I highly recommend them to anyone!

He took the time to explain what the issue was with my water heater and softener. Matts Plumbing Solutions came highly recommended to us from a good friend. Matt came out to give an estimate to replace a very old toilet and vanity in our South Minneapolis home. In the process he looked at some plumbing beneath the bathroom that we have questions about. Matt was able to provide excellent information and solutions to our problems at a reasonable price. Scheduling with the team was easy. They came out and replaced the two fixtures as well as most of the piping beneath. They did an amazing job! When the toilet cracked a couple weeks later due to an issue with the old original flange, Matt came out right away to fix the problem. He and the team were friendly and I felt very comfortable having them in our home. We are new to Minneapolis and it gives me great peace of mind to know we have someone we can trust in the future. I called and left a voicemail on Sunday afternoon about a leak I noticed in my crawl space. I had the option to call the emergency line but did not need it. I got a call from a receptionist right after the company opened up Monday morning, scheduled the appointment and had a tech at my house by 10am. Very long story short, we found out when selling our home that there was a break in our line out to the sewer and there was no front cleanout to be found. After having 4 other plumbers out to our house and getting nowhere with schedules and quotes, Matt came out, got us quoted and did the clean out same day. Two days later, the sewer line was fixed! We could not be happier with service we received from Matt and his crew (plus our dog, Sonny, adored him!). As we move to our new home, we’ll keep Matt’s number handy for any future plumbing needs!

I woke up one morning last week flushed the toilet and water seeped out from under the toilet. I called around and got nothing but voicemails. Then I contacted Matt’s. They had someone out within the hour and it was determined that my main line was clogged. A couple ours later they came back with the big equipment and had the line not only cleaned and jetted. They also did a camera inspection to ensure there wasn’t a more serious problem. The line looked fine. The front office scheduling was awesome and their techs were kind, knowledgeable and punctual. I would definitely use them again should the need arise!

Matt came out to look at our sewer line after Drainbusters horribly and unprofessionally misdiagnosed a branch pipe as a hole in the line. Matt took his time talking with us, examining our basement structure to help us figure out that the hole was actually a branch line from our floor drain. Our main drain access cap was dropped into the line by a previous contractor and ended up plugging our entire main drain line. 2 inches of water in the basement later…After calling, Matt’s was to our house in under an hour and had the cap out even faster! Honest review here. Just had Matts come out to add the plumbing so we could turn a single sink vanity into a double sink vanity, replace the shower/tub cartridge in that same bathroom, and install a new water softener. The first two parts went fairly smoothly but the third was rough. They had trouble installing the water softener because an O-ring was slipping and water kept spilling out. After a couple hours, they figured it out and left for the day. The next day, we woke up and there was salt water all over our unfinished basement floor. The brine tank was discharging from the overflow valve. We called them up that morning and they had the same guy out right away. He ended up finding out a defect in the head of the BrassMaster water softener. After talking to that companys support line, BrassMaster sent a specialist out and replaced the head of the softener. So I guess were glad they use a local, responsive water softener manufacturer. This seemed to be the end of it, except that we were no longer getting hot water in our master shower. It stayed like this for a weekend and we called again on Monday and they sent the owner, Matt, out that afternoon. He found that a cap, but not a cartridge, was put on our new shower cartridge and that the hot and cold water were mixing here before continuing on to our master shower. He put the cartridge on here and we were good to go. Easy fix! Just to be thorough, he checked out everything else and noticed that the intake/outtake of the water softener were swapped--old softeners often are and although the original guy noticed this when getting an estimate he forgot when he did the work. So Matt changed the copper pipes to go into the proper places. Overall, this was a bit of a headache, but Amber was always very pleasant at the office and never cast doubt or deflected blame when we said something wasnt right. Matts was also very responsive in addressing our concerns and despite that they came out on 3 separate days and multiple hours beyond what was expected, they never asked for another dime. Btw, we had gotten another quote from a chain before this and Matts quote was $400 cheaper than even the membership rate that we could have gotten from the other guys. I wanted to write this without a lot of slant and just tell it as it is, so hopefully someone finds this helpful.
