Had to call them this morning for a messy situation. The scheduler was polite and understanding. They managed to get us in yet this morning. Zach and his partner called before arrival, worked around our schedule, were exceptionally polite, and had the problem solved in minutes! They checked to be sure the issue was completely solved. They even came in under the expected price. Nothing but respect for these guys. Thanks.

Had issues with water flooding in our basement due to tree roots and another clog. We tried Dalton Plumming to snake it. Worked at 1st, and the issue came back 2 weeks later. Then we called Roter-Rooter to snake the tree roots and clog again. They fixed it in a shorter amount at over half the cost as Dalton Plumbling charged us. Would reccomend these guys services.

If you havent called our local Roto-Rooter for drain cleaning, repair or anything sewer related you should be. Ive been using them the past 5+ years after switching from another company previously, and Im so glad I made the change. The quality of service we receive from everyone at Roto-Rooter is absolutely first class every time! I had an issue this week with some drains and gave them a call and they scheduled me in the next day. Then Zach and Terry showed up and diagnosed the problem along with finding another issue I didnt even know about. Plus, Zach took the time to show me whats going on and what needed to be done to resolve it. I loved this! Then after he and Terry were done Zach walked me through everything one more time which was so helpful, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Thank you again Roto-Rooter for having such a wonderful company and people like Zach and Terry who care and provide amazing customer service which means so much to everyone today! Great service! I called at 8 AM and they were able to send someone out before noon. Jimmy was very friendly and helpful. He was able to clear the blockage our shower drain within 15 minutes. Prices are reasonable as well. Overall would definitely recommend!

The two guys that came out to help me with a flooding issue in my basement were amazingly thorough, and took time not just to solve the immediate plug, but also clean out the main line in my house that had significant rust build up and was contributing to drainage problems. These guys are great. I had a basement drain that was backing up when the washing machine drained so I called Roto Rooter. The crew called before showing up and were here a few minutes early for the job. It took nearly an hour to get my drain fixed but they kept at it until everything was working like it should. I’ll definitely use these guys again. Excellent work and very reasonable pricing.

Wow, so impressed with this company! Answered my call and was able to schedule me in a timely manner. I mean heck, I have a clogged drain, so time is of the essence. I had randomly called someone else first, but they didn’t call me back in over 24 hours, what losers! Save yourself some time and call these guys first. Zach came over and unclogged the drain and also went the extra mile and fixed our p trap which I broke during trying to figure out the problem. Price was good too! Thanks!

The sewer drain in our basement was backing up so I called to have them come. An hour later my grandmother passed away so I had to quickly leave town. My wife called to switch the contact info and the lady who answered the phone was so compassionate. The techs called shortly after to say they were coming. They quickly resolved the problem and offered their condolences on such a hard day, even mKing the bill reflect that. Being compassionate, kind, and professionally resolving my problem quickly gets you my business and recommendation every time.

Experience #1I recently had two septic systems pumped. The men who came to pump them were having a long day, but were still very thorough and were very nice to speak with about whart they were doing and how I could keep my systems in the best shape possible. I thought they did a fantasitc job and were very professional and courteous.Experience #2 (a few weeks after the first experience)I have an acreage and lots of agricultural based tile running under it. I had a broken tile and needed to have the source of the problem scoped out. The two guys that came out KNEW THIER STUFF and really took their time to figure out the root problem. (BTW it wasnt actually a root, ha!) The short of it is that they knew how this tile stuff works, how things SHOULD (and sometimes CAN) fit together and how to fix them. They solved a problem that I never could have with my backhoe and shovels, etc. It cost a bit, but it was far less than if I would have started ripping up random parts of my yard. It was well worth it! Thanks.

They took 3 hours and never gave up, never recommend costly repairs before trying everything they could and were fair on cost. If they had given up it would have cost thousands of dollars. I called Cedar Rapids Roto-Rooter for an after hours service call because a basement floor drain was backing up when I flushed the toilet. The crew called before they came out, and were very courteous when then arrived. They asked if I wanted them to take their boots off before coming into the house. They got right to work, and ran water and flushed toilets in different parts of the house to figure out where the blockage was. They finally went outside and pulled up the manhole cover in front of my house, where they discovered that the city main was blocked. They were able to unblock it and get my drain working again. Im not sure if every drain service would know to check the city main like that, but Adam and his co-worker did. When I joked that they should send the bill to the mayor, Adam actually suggested that I call the city sewer department and tell them what happened, and that the city might give me a refund. Either way, the Roto Rooter crew knew what they were doing and did a great job.

I called Roto Rooter for a main sewer line issue. From the first call to the service man I had a great experience! The woman that answered after hours was professional and courteous. She answered all of my questions patiently. Zach was who arrived at my home was also very patient with my questions and did explain to me what he was doing and the whys. He was very knowledgeable. We just purchased our first home and 3 weeks later we had flooding due to the main drain being clogged. I called the office at 8:30 and someone showed up at 10.
