    I had very good experience with Triad for EV Charger (Tesla universal wall connector) installation at garage. Just gave them call and they came home on scheduled time to provide estimate. Once agreed they came for installation at desired location at garage. They always keep me informed when their electrician will be visiting home via text. They took care of permit. Also, provided guideline and steps to apply for Duke EV charger rebate program. Very friendly people.Thanks

    Their electricians repaired my electrical issue very quickly and tested all outlets on that circuit with a diagnostic tool. They found a minor issue and repaired it.I’m very happy with their work and I plan to call them and make a new appointment to add an outside outlet.

    Triad Electrical installed my EV charger, and I couldnt be more happy. From the quote to the installation, everything was done on time and quickly. I wanted my charger on a specific side, and they accommodated that request without any issues. After installation, they set up the inspection with the town inspector for the Duke Energy Rebate paperwork. The inspector didnt make my first appointment, but I called to let them know, and they set up another appointment for me. Everything was great from start to finish. Highly recommended!

It only took them a short time to come up with a quote (after send them pictures) and give us an installation date, they were also the most affordable and responsive. They followed up promptly and made sure everything was sorted out for us.

    Highly recommend Triad Electrical Services for installing an EV charger! they were able to give an estimate a few days after my request and scheduled installation 2 weeks later. The technician also helped me pick out an EVSE that would work for my electrical panel and told me what to look for when choosing a charger. They are amazing in their communication and provide accurate arrival windows. They also came in significantly below the other two estimates I got, and I was pleased with the result! I’ll definitely be a return customer for other electrical needs in the future.

    The installers were polite and their work was very professional. They completed the EV installation well ahead of my expectations. The first company told me they would have to cut a hole in my drywall but they would not fix it. Triad installers ONLY fished the cable through a clean small hole where they installed a junction box.     Highly recommend. They provided a free and fair estimate, completed the work, which included installing a new electrical panel, adding recessed lights in our office and a ceiling fan in our guest room, upping the amps to our stove, and more, in less than 6 hours, and left me with the lights back on. The hardest part was waiting for the county inspector to arrive. They were professional, friendly, and efficient! Would use again.

    They were very communicative and knowledgeable from the first consultation to the install day. The person who gave me a quote was also able to recommend a reliable charger for me to purchase since I had no idea what I wanted or needed. The entire install took maybe 3 hours and I’ve had no issues with my ChargePoint home charger since then.

    Service was done professionally. There were some issues.1. They charged $130 more than their official estimate and later refunded when discussed with Chris. I would get a written estimate in future to avoid any confusion.2. The installation team was not fully prepared for the installation. I had to bring them my 8 ft ladder and also lift and hold the item to help them with the install. I was fine with that, but I would make sure that the estimator and installers fully discuss the site and item info before starting the job.

    Update 10/31/2024 Three technicians came out and installed sconces at our front entrance and also our driveway; they hung a fan on our porch and swapped out front porch drop lights for flush-mount lights put on a separate circuit; installed two LED integrated fixtures in our laundry room, installed an outlet in our pantry, and installed a dozen trim kit upgrades on our recessed lighting throughout the home. The also installed a larger transformer and resolved a chronic doorbell issue with the installation of a RingPro doorbell system. They worked very quickly and were very affordable. They swapped out a fluorescent light fixture in an upstairs closet and then had to come back and replace the fixture they installed because it was defective. They did so at no additional charge. The technicians worked well with our door installers, and were very professional, attentive to our needs, and happy to explain what they were doing. They had to work in our crawl space four times, with only a 2.5-foot clearance and had to go the length of the home. They remained cheerful and got everything accomplished. Triad Electric has our business for any electrical work needed and they deliver excellent quality and an affordable price. We recommend them highly! 03/15/2024 We had three technicians sent out to hang 2 fans (15-foot ceiling), a chandelier (18-foot ceiling), two garage LED four-foot light fixtures on a 15-foot ceiling, two flush-mount light fixtures in hallway and a room, add a dimmer switch, and repair a short and replace bulbs for corner-mount exterior floodlights. All of the work was accomplished in three hours and the quality of the work, and the courtesy of the electricians, was outstanding. They sought our input on placement, hanging height, and location of furniture they needed to move out of the way. We give them our highest recommendation - A+ on all categories for this type of job. We plan to have them return for some additional work as soon as it can be scheduled.

    Great job and very professional. What they quoted is what they charged. They did have to come back and finish after inspecting and that’s where the one star drop off occurred. They had to cancel for weather, which happens, but showing up today and not having a shovel is not being prepared. Having to come back out tomorrow to finish. Hopefully that will end the project and I can get on my way to getting credit from Duke energy.

    I couldnt be happier with the install. I got a ev charger installed. The fuse box was on the outside of my house behind the garage,and I ran the 240 to the garage door. I got a bunch of quotes from other electricians and electrical companies. They did the work for 1000s less. They broke a fuse switch replaced it no cost, they installed a whole home surge protector, and my 240 line for my car. Passed inspection, and it was still all cheaper by 1000s then 4 other quotes. I highly recommend getting a quote from them before you settle on a service.

    Our porch and fan were not working and we called Triad. Nicholas and Frank did some trouble shooting and determined it was the receiver for the remote. They also found a breaker popped and found we had a paper shredder plugged in to a low voltage outlet. Both young men were professional and informed us what they were doing as they went along.     For my EV charger, Triad installed 240V, 50A circuit breaker, 50A wiring, and NEMA 14-50 outlet & wall box, and cleaned up in less than two hours!Everything was seamless from the first phone call to schedule a free estimate to the inspection. They text when theyre on the way, and they either arrived early, or within the first hour of the expected time frame for each visit (quote, work, and inspection).Harvey walked me through what all I need to apply for Duke Energys EV charger prep credit and took care of everything else, which included pulling the permits, returning for the inspection, and providing the necessary paperwork from their end.They were easy to work with, communicative, punctual. Communication was smooth and efficient with every one I spoke to -- Leilani, Harvey, Chris. I highly recommend them to anyone needing any electrical work done!

    I wanted an EV charger installed and was referred to Triad Electrical. After reaching out requesting an estimate, Christopher was very responsive and even stopped by later in the day to provide an estimate. While on site, Christopher noticed that the panel we had used the dangerous Challenger Breakers and recommending replacing them all with newer UL listed breakers to avoid electrical issues in the future.Although I was not planning on spending extra to upgrade the panel during this particular project, the total price for the circuit breaker replacements along with the price of the EV charger install were still much cheaper than I was expecting for the EV charger installation alone.On the day of the install, Christopher and his team arrived on time, were extremely professional and kept me posted every step of the way during the process. I am extremely satisfied with the result and recommend Triad Electrical Services for any electrical work in their service area.

    After purchasing our first EV vehicles we quickly realized that a hardwired charger would be needed (actually two since we ended up with two EVs). Our electrical panel also was the original panel from the house construction in 1978 with no additional circuit space so needed that upgraded as well.Called multiple electricians to come and give us quotes on our upgrade project. Triad had one of the best prices of the bunch (one other company actually refused to give an upfront quote and said they would add pricing as they hit issues. No thank you). They also had the best review rating of the ones that we called.Harvey (the representative) was on time for the quote and listened carefully to what I wanted completed. He took note of everything and sent me the quote that evening. The quote was right in line with all of the other companies cost wise. They also spelled out exactly what was being done in the quote. A few other company quotes were much more generic (ie well hang a charger on the wall, Triad actually stated they would mount within x feet of the front edge of the wall, install a 200 amp panel, etc)Install day came and the crew was right on time. Much to my delight Harvey was back again for the work day. Most of my other home projects the install crew has never seen the project (or sometimes even talked to the sales rep) so having Harvey who did the initial quote and size up back with the install team was a great benefit.The whole team worked very well together and communicated things back to me at every point (When they were cutting power for example). When a new outlet was being added they made sure to ask me where I would have liked those located. Kudos to all.All in all a very great experience with Triad. They will definitely be the only call Ill make for any future electrical work I may need.

This price includes every thing from start to finish and it includes the inspection as well.     I had an extremely positive experience with Triad Electrical Services.Short version of the story: I contacted them on a Saturday night, they worked all day on Sunday to get prepared to repair the main power feed into my home, completed all the work on Monday (including doing all the work with the power company and the Town Inspectors), and came in 10% under his estimated price.The long version of the story: On Saturday afternoon I realized my Air Conditioner had stopped working. I called an AC repair company, and they sent a technician out Saturday night (Allen Kelly – another very good experience) and the technician determined that the power feeding my AC unit was faulty, and that a licensed electrician needed to figure out what was going on. One of the challenges we were dealing with was that we also had a major remodeling job starting on Monday morning and we needed the AC working for the construction crews to begin work.A friend had recommended Triad, so I entered a message on their website Saturday night (including the details on the construction that was scheduled to start on Monday morning.) Triad contacted me on Saturday night, and we set up a time for them to come by on Sunday so they could assess the situation.Chris came out to my home and determined what the problem was, the cause of the problem, determined what needed to be repaired and brought up to code all on Sunday. This alone probably took him about 4 hours ON A SUNDAY.Chris spent all day Monday performing the repairs – which was basically a complete dismantle and replacement of an exterior electrical panel box and multiple breakers. My service needed to be brought up to code, so he also installed a service disconnect and installed a new grounding system.The quality of the workmanship was excellent – but what really was impressive was that he knew I was in a tight spot, and he worked for many hours on a Sunday to minimize the schedule delays I was looking to avoid with my remodeling project. Triad even installed an interior outlet while we were waiting for the power company to arrive and restore the power on Monday afternoon.I had an excellent experience with Triad.

    Highly recommend!!! Setting up the appointment was straightforward and Chris was good about talking through the options for the EV/Hybrid charging outlet. We had several lighting issues inside/outside plus asked for the EV/Hybrid outlet installation. Technicians were on time, professional, and courteous. They kept me informed throughout the servicing. They worked hard all day and Chris came out to pitch in to finish - we ended up replacing all the fluorescent lights in closets with LED recess lights instead of trying to fix the builders grade old fluorescent tube lighting. In the end, we had all indoor/outdoor light issues fixes (broken outdoor light with bad connection and an indoor switch that wasnt working), new LED recess lights in all closets, and a new EV/Hybrid outlet installed in the garage.     Triad electrical services are great! They installed an EV charging outlet in my garage back in April of 2023. I had no issues until now, when the outletrandomly stopped working. After reaching out, they were at my house within 24 hours. They fixed it up and installed a new outlet for me at no charge.

    A circuit blew in my bedroom and I started calling around for electricians. Triad called back and we scheduled an appointment. Then my electricity started to oscillate, lights flickering, etc. I was in communication with Triad after work hours while this was going on and they advised me to have Duke Energy check my power. Duke Energy came and discovered the neutral for the main power had disconnected from the clamp in my exterior meter box! The panel box is 20 years old and the clamp for the neutral was spot welded to the box. Duke had to disconnect my power and Triad came out the next day and was able to get a temp fix in until they could replace the entire panel. When dealing with this type of repair, the panel has to be inspected before Duke will turn on power again. When I mentioned Triad would be doing the replacement work, the city inspector said those guys know what they are doing, youre in good hands.I cant recommend them highly enough for customer service and support, especially when the problems first occurred and I had no idea what was going on. Triad also came out first thing the next morning, ahead of their normal workday, to get the temp fix in so I could have power again. They were reliable, polite, punctual and in constant communication with next steps. They also were very diligent in scheduling and following up with the necessary inspections so that I was without power for the shortest time possible.I would never use anyone else for my electrical work.

    Found Chris/Triad via exceptional reviews on NextDoor. Reviews were accurate. Chris is terrific. Detail oriented in listening to our needs and sent a skilled team to handle the many projects we needed done, two of which were wiring for and installing a ceiling fan and mounting a large TV while working their magic to ‘disappear’ all wiring behind the wall. The guys were knowledgeable, detailed oriented, neat workers (no mess!) and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend and we will use them again.

    Our house was struck by lightning and it took out a lot of our electrical in the house. After calling around to several Electrician who said they could not help us, the staff at Triad worked us into their schedule quickly and was exactly on time. They went through the house house and made sure everything that needed to be replaced was and that all panel and circuits were working. After a day, we had an electrical incident and I called them right away and they were there the next day, rechecking the panel and lines. They also fixed a few things that they found and only charged me for the service call. All the electricians were professional, courteous and listen to our needs. They went up and beyond their jobs.

    Everyone wants that go-to. You know - the mechanic you tell all your friends to take their car too; the HVAC people to call in an emergency; the handyman that can do everything and anything. Well Triad earned their spot as my go-to for electricians.First, Chris came out and spent a lot of time evaluating my job and presenting me with multiple options since my circuit panels had little capacity left in them. Most other electricians I called barely wanted to talk to me let alone come out and give an estimate. Subsequently they arrived exactly on time and when my appliance wasnt there when it was supposed to be, through absolutely no fault of theirs, they completely took it in stride and fit me in to complete the job once it arrived. They didnt even want partial payment for a good days worth of work that they had done prior to the appliance arriving.I even had fun chatting with them about soccer as the World cup was going on during the job. The whole crew was exceptionally nice, thorough and professional.Try them out and I think you two will have found your go-to.

    We purchased a townhome in Apex this summer and have used Triad Electrical Services on 3 separate occasions, most recently on Nov 22, 2021. Our home was built in the late 80’s and needed some updates as well as a few minor repairs The owner, Chris, has always been very helpful and responsive. The team that had done the work on our house all 3 times were Harvey and Nick and we couldn’t be happier with their knowledge and work ethic.     Triad Electical was absolutely phenomenal for our home upgrades! We just purchased a home and had several electrical projects to complete. I texted their number on a Sunday to inquire about the projects and got an immediate response to schedule an estimate. Chris came out for an estimate and was quick, knowledgeable and very easy to communicate with. Scheduling the job was a breeze! The day of installation, Harvey and his team arrived early, laid out all of the projects so I could make any adjustments and set to work. Their team was fast, hard working, kind and very trustworthy.     Christopher went above and beyond for the requested services. I called after hours and immediately got a text asking for what services I needed. He then walked me through how to get him the information he needed. He fit me into the schedule the next day & was very promptly there at the set timeframe. He walked me through what was needed & even went beyond to assist with the installation of our electric range oven. He didn’t have to troubleshoot it when it burnt out but he did and explained the repair process. I was very appreciative of how affordable the services were but also how well they were done. We wanted to get some 3 way light switches repaired because of faulty wiring and install 3 Ethernet outlets (word to the wise - if you are building a home put Ethernet jacks everywhere before the drywall goes up.)Chris responded immediately and came out to survey and gave us a quote which was reasonable.     I’m really satisfied with my service from Triad Electrical. I chose them based on Google reviews so here’s one more recommendation for those looking. I hired them to fix a bathroom light that was starting to pull out of the drywall. It was not installed properly to begin with and needed an electrical box. I wasn’t sure if this was a job for an electrician or a handyman because of the possible drywall repair but the electrician got the job done. He texted early and was able to arrive earlier than scheduled which is shocking these days. He also clearly cleaned up the debris on the counter and sink which I appreciate a lot. (We had plumbing done the same day and they did not wipe up their mess.) Would definitely call them again.
