In a time where getting any tradesman to even look at a job I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and professionally Dugas Electric responded to my inquiry. They had my estimate the next day and scheduled the work at my convenience. The day of the install the team was polite and professional. They completed everything on the estimate and then went through the estimate with me again to ensure nothing was missed. It was a clean, neat and professional installation of an upgraded electrical service. I recommend them without hesitation.

Paul was absolutely wonderful. I was in a time crunch to sell my house and he came out immediately to give me a quote, which was literally HALF of another company we used to get an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The only reason we didn’t go with him is because we ended up using a family friend. I highly recommend this company for any electrical needs. You won’t find a more reasonable price or someone more knowledgeable or trustworthy to do the work!

I had many cracks in my main power line that runs down the side of my house which was letting water leak into my basement, the meter box was shot, and I had two messy 100-amp panels in my basement. The Dugas Electric team came in and did an amazing job! I was very impressed. They made everything look extremely clean and also were very knowledgeable with any questions/concerns I had. Highly recommend!

Great company to work with. We needed our electric panel upgraded, and the meter moved from the basement to a location outside. The owner designed a really great plan, with a lot less construction and hassle than other companies had offered. They call before they arrive, they are on time, show up when they say they will, super respectful of your home and left everything clean and neat. Highly recommended.

Everyone from Dugas was wonderful. Paul came out on the weekend to give us a quote for upgrading an outdated system. The crew arrived on time and were very pleasant and approachable. Dan walked me through what they were going to be doing and answered any questions we had along the way. They worked quickly and efficiently and finished before their estimated time. All the work they did looks great! I will definitely be using Dugas for any future work and referring them to any one who ask.

Paul was very responsive. We had an estimate within 24 hours and work completed within a week of the estimate. His team that came out was very thorough. We have an older house that had electric on a wood riser that was on the roof. The wood was rotted and a mess. Dugas made sure everything was sealed and looks great. Replaced the old wood with a new metal riser pipe and replaced the service. Job was completed in about six hours. Looks great, couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend Dugas Electric.

If you need an electrical contractor, Dugas Electric is the one to call. I had an electrical failure and lost power on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I called Paul, who had done other work for me previously, and he was at my house in less than an hour and made a temporary repair. They have now upgraded my service as part of a complicated project that required significant interaction and coordination with NYSEG and excavation contractors to accomplish. Paul and his entire crew are highly skilled professionals who are prompt, reliable and personable.

I was in need of upgrading my old electrical panel. Paul came out the same day I contacted him to take a look at the job. He got back to me the next day with a quote and I had the work done quickly. I cannot say enough good things about both Paul and his 3 man crew that came to the house to do the work. They were extremely professional and friendly. They answered all my questions, and before they left, made sure to answer any other questions I might have. I would highly recommend this company for any electrical work you need done. We hired Dugas Electric through a referral from KAZ Home Improvements. I also looked into the company before I hired them. They have an A+ rating on BBB, and their google reviews are 5 stars. Paul and his crew did an outstanding job! He was a great communicator who also made himself available after hours for opinions and ideas on material purchases.Our initial job was to install 20 recessed lights into our soffits. The job went a lot faster than I expected, so we asked for a few “add ons”. Paul took on every job and made sure everything was completed in a timely manner. We upgraded our old electric panel, replaced all exterior outlets, replaced a bathroom fan, and also added a 30 amp line for our camper.All of Pauls employees are knowledgeable and trustworthy. I always listened to their suggestions as they know more about electric than I do. Dan, who seemed to lead the electric crew, was very good at asking questions to make sure we were on the same page. If you are thinking about improving your electric, I strongly recommend Dugas Electric. They will be back at my house for any future electric job.

Wanted to voice my appreciation as the other evening I had an issue with my electric service. Dugas Electrics website says they will call you back asap and I received a call back within a half hour. The owner himself called me back and gave me some advice that solved my issue. It turned out to be a simple fix but what really mattered to me is that the company called back when they said they would and Mr. Dugas was willing to try and assist me over the phone without expectation of payment or a sales call. I will be calling them in future when I have some planned electric work done.

Id previously hired a different electrician to upgrade my 100A residential service to 200A, to make room for new electric appliances and an EV charger. The other company dawdled for a month and a half before I canceled the project, at which point I called Paul Dugas. I was in need of upgrading my old service panel to a new 200A service, installing a 220v outlet for a new electric stove, and putting in a automatic generator transfer panel. Paul came out and went through the house explaining everything that was going to be done. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and then promptly wrote up a quote for the service. On the day of, Dan and Chris came out and performed all of the work. They were both extremely professional and knowledgeable. They answered some additional questions I had and did a great job. Overall, the work performed was completed accurately and was reasonably priced. I will be using them again in the future.

Called because breaker shut off and would not click back. Tech.checked that. Breaker working. Walked around basement and found heater plug melted into outlet. Replaced the outlet. Could have been very bad for us. He took the time to assess the problem. 1st. electrician wanted $800 just to figure out the panel problem. I would recommend Dugas and call them again..
