We were under contract on the sale of our home and found out we needed to convert from septic to city sewer. Our house was 240 feet downhill from the sewer line that was 20 feet beneath the street. Needless to say, a very big project. To make it more difficult we were scheduled to move across the country to our new home. We met with Bob Hartwick, owner, and although they were not the cheapest quote we got, we felt the most comfortable with his communication and competency. The job was very involved, including permits with the water district and the city. We were involved in much of this process but felt more comfortable with Bob being our point man than we have been with any other contractor weve worked with, and thats been a lot remodeling an older home. We were also under a tight timeline to meet the multiple extensions with our buyers. It was a difficult project, but through it all, Bob and the Drain Doctors team were professional and did a very high quality job. From installation of the electrical system, the pumping system, underground drilling for the lines, excavation of the road, traffic control, inspections, working with the city and much more they were safe and professional in all areas. They also have a very organized quote, billing and scheduling system that keeps you updated and makes record keeping and communication much easier. Overall we highly recommend Bob Hartwick and the Drain Doctors.

Water from my Sump Pump line was eroding my front yard and causing water to pool in the font yard and in my neighbors yard and driveway. Called Drain Doctors and Jordan came out and assessed my problem and gave me an estimate that was so much better than the other estimate I received. Then Larry came out and looked at everything and said they would start in a couple of weeks. They extended the pump dischard line into the street from under the sidewalk, so the water would just go out from the curb and down to the storm drain. They had to tear up some of the sidewalk to lay the pipe down and poured new concrete patch and did a great job. They hauled away all the debris and I am just so happy with the work they did, and would definitely recommend The Drain Doctors. Thank you Jordan, Larry and Bob.

I had a propane tank buried on my property almost 2 years ago. I didnt think anything of it when my crawl space started filling with water. What I didnt realize was the person I had dig the hole cut through 2 of my footing drain 4 pipes when burying my tank. A camera with a locator was used and we found the broken pipes.Without the Drain Doctor, I would still be trying to figure out what went wrong! They were all courteous and professional. Currently in the middle of an extensive project to improve drainage in backyard. Involving complete renovation of back lawn and installation of french drain system. Also, construction of retaining wall and installation of outdoor lighting. Larry, Bob and Lucas have been great to work with. Always there when they say they will be and excellent at explaining each step of the project. Work has been done professionally and on time. Scheduling has been very easy through the home office with clear detail on bid proposals and through the step of deposit and progression payments. These times can prove difficult to find reliable and prompt service but Drain Drs have been terrific at every step of the project thus far. I didnt check the value step as Im not really sure if they are above or below competition. That said, in light of the results thus far, they get a check in that box as well.

Our water company sent us a notice that they suspected we had a leak in our system. A friend recommended Bob Hartwick and Drain Doctors. Bob came out the next day and did a thorough assessment of our system- every sink and toilet was checked. He found that there was a leak in two systems, the irrigation system, and the pipe that went from the meter to the house under the driveway. His crew was out within the week. The crew was very nice, they kept us informed about how the repair was going along the way. It was a multi day project that was impacted by the snow. We were kept updated along the way. I highly recommend Drain Doctors.

I hired them to do maintenance on my septic system and install all new drains in my 61 year old home. We had a pretty significant main sewer line issue this morning. Downstairs toilet wasnt draining and wouldnt unclog. It wasnt used, so we had no clue why this would happen. We plunged to no avail. I ran out to home depot and bought a snake. Problem just wouldnt resolve. I went upstairs to take a shower and when i came down, the downstairs toilet had overflowed for no good reason, and after some GOOGLE sleuthing I realized it must be an issue with the main sewer line.I called Drain Doctors around 11:30AM. Their receptionist/scheduler was very friendly and helpful and mentioned she wasnt sure if they would be able to make it out before 2pm. She asked to call her tech and that she would call me back. She called me back in minutes and said the tech would be out to our home within the hour!I couldnt believe it and was completely relieved that someone was coming to the rescue because we had no clue on how to fix this ourselves without professional help. Joe Hartwick, their lead installer and estimator, came right on time and called me 10 mins before arrival. He came equipped with state of the art gear, and within 5 minutes of jumping into our crawlspace under the house and running a fiber optic camera through our sewer line, he immediately targeted the issue.Over the weekend i was driving stakes into the ground in the backyard to help support some of our fruit trees and as luck would have it, i drove a stake completely through our main sewer line. I was using a sledge hammer to do this, and with how rocky the soil is to begin with, i didnt even realize some of the resistance wasnt rock...but was actually the 3.5in PVC pipe.Joe was able to pin point the exact location with his tools and sure enough it was exactly where I drove one of the stakes into the ground.Joe dug up the ground, right down to the pipe, and showed us how I somehow managed to magically drive the stake right thru the pipe. We had a good laugh about it. Within 2.5-3 hours Joe dug up the ground, removed the stake, cut out a section of the pipe, replaced it with a brand new pipe and even installed a vertical pipe up to the garden bed for future ease of access if we ever needed to clear out the main sewer line again.The best part about all of this is we now have a go-to plumbing service for the future. Theres no need for us to even think about engaging another company after the great job Drain Doctors did today. Completely professional, totally helpful, and incredibly friendly.Its really hard to find amazing, reliable, and trustworthy contractors, so we are VERY grateful to have come across Drain Doctors.Plus they are a local family owned business.THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!

My frustration is not getting calls back on quotes and when jobs are running late, I am one who likes updates when things are not going as planned. When someone is out sick, its understandable, customers just like to know when someone will not be out on a job for several weeks. Communication would be appreciated - being kept in the loop. After all is said and done, Bob and Corey went above and beyond and we would highly recommend this company.

This review is a long time coming as I have used this company on multiple occasions with great results. I originally called Drain Doctors late on a Friday afternoon to repair a broken culvert pipe that ended up flooding my yard. They did not hesitate to come out on an emergency basis to stop the flow of water that threatened my house. Subsequently, they repaired my septic system when no other company was able to diagnose the issue, much less repair it. Another time they came out on the same day I called, to repair a pipe that was inadvertently smashed when we were landscaping.Drain Doctors, goes out of their way to provide excellent customer service, honors their quotes and does whatever it takes to get the job done. I find them to be experienced, reliable and trustworthy. I am a customer for life and would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

We called Drain Docs for a quote to repair an overflowing outdoor drain. They were very honest in telling us that cleaning out the spout but it would only temporarily solve the problem. Instead they recommended another contractor to work on the gutters above the ground. I appreciated that they advised on what was best for us, even though it meant they didnt get our business. I will definitely use them in the future if needed.

They cleaned our downspout drains and made me a map of where the drains outlet on the property. They even finished up at $300 less than what they quoted because we ended up not needing part of the service. Great quality, honest, and very professional service.

I needed my sewer line located but so many companies wanted to charge us $70 just to show up when all we wanted was a price range for the sewer location, some companies said they started at $350! My wife found Drain Doctors and they were great. We got an over the phone estimate that was $100 less then the other places and the estimate was what we paid. Our plumber was on time, friendly and explained everything to us which was much appreciated as other plumbers we have used just did work and left. He even gave us suggestions for when we replace our lines. We were very happy with them and will be using them again!

Very happy with service. They decommissioned septic system and connected us to sewer. Ran into permitting snags and they were extremely flexible in adjusting schedule. Ashley at front desk was super responsive to the various permitting challenges we ran into. Stuck to budget in spite of delays caused by City of Bellevue. Definitely recommend them to others.

I had the Drain Doctors over to my place to work in my bath room, they removed and replaced my tub surround and installed the new sink and did a fabulous job I will use them again and strongly recommend them to anybody that needs a plumber.
