Our water heater was acting up. Two other plumbing companies just wanted to install a new water heater, but Kaizen was willing to fix the dip tube, pressure relief valve, and expansion tank (after a discussion of the relative risks that the rest of the heater might die at any point in the future). In the end, they fixed our heater for much less than the cost of a new one, and if we get an extra year or two out of the existing heater it will have been worth it. I appreciated the quality service and willingness to give us options.

The communication was excellent! We had some issues with a bubbling in our downstairs toilet. Kajik diagnosed it very quickly. We got on the schedule quickly.Even though the quote initially seemed expensive, the hard work and quality workmanship was worth it. Kajik took the time to explain what had happened and how I can do a few maintenance things to avoid the situation again. Also, they team did not try to sell me on more unnecessary work. Kajik was easy to work with . He was very clear what the diagnosis and game plan was. The company was very good at communicating when they would arrive.I had an old galvanized pipe that was weak and had a leak which ran down the walls. This was fixed and tested. Everything with the job went well and I was very happy.Kajik also took the time to make sure a kitchen vent pipe was set up to work properly. The previous plumber took a short cut, which in the future could’ve caused lots of water damage.You can tell he takes pride in the quality of work he does.The quote was higher than I anticipated but I know in the long run, this job will be good for many years.I know you can get plumbing done cheaper, but the old saying you get what you pay for.I will definitely use Kaizen plumbing again in the future!!

Pouya from Kaizen Plumbing was able to come out for an estimate to have a pressure regulating valve and new shut off valve installed for the home. They were able to order the needed parts and get us on the schedule a few days later. Their estimate was not the lowest but also was not the highest. We decided to go with them because I felt confident they were going to perform the work in a way that I would be happy with. This was in fact the case. Happy I decided to go with them and would not have any hesitation recommending them to neighbors, family and friends.

Kaizen Plumbing responded promptly to a contact request submitted through their website and scheduled a two-hour appt window for a few days later after confirming that the problem wasnt urgent. I received a text message with map link to track arrival time 30 mins before the appt, and the technician arrived right on time. Kajik listened carefully to my description of the problem with my kitchen sink drain, and did some tests to help diagnosis possible causes. They provided estimates for a simple fix that might help, and a more thorough option, and explained clearly what the problem appeared to be and how the proposed work would address it (including waiving the cost of the simpler fix if the more extensive cleaning ended up being necessary).Kajik performed the requested repair quickly and professionally, and confirmed that things were working to my expectations afterwards, and explained that the repair was warrantied for several months. The repair was not cheap, but I am satisfied that the transparency, professionalism, and quality of the work was worth the price! I plan to contact Kaizen again for any future plumbing work.

Fixed a couple of minor leaks I couldnt handle in about a minute each. But the main problem was a clog. He worked on it a couple of hours and was not completely successful, saying part of my ancient pipes need replacing. The cost was reasonable for the amount of hard work he put in and he was a knowledgeable, pleasant man who answered all my questions. Unfortunately there is no way I can afford to fix the pipes at this time, but I will definitely call him when I can. I recommend this business.

Wow, I used Kaizen Plumbing for the first time and Ive gone through a lot of different plumbers in the past and am I impressed! They brought in a new main water line to my house (which is on the bluff hillside), they had to bore a tunnel, concrete work, and run a new line underground and they did it! Other plumbers said the job couldnt be done and Id need to excavate the entire hillside and driveway to make it happen, but they came through. I HIGHLY recommend them for their services. The owner was very friendly, honest, and extremely professional! i give them my highest recommendation!

The valve and backflow regulator on our irrigation system died this year and needed to be replaced. Kajik came out the same day I called and clarified the problem and explained my options. Joshua did the actual repair a couple of days later. He did a great job, including returning the landscaping to original conditions and fixing a few minor issues from the original install. It has now been over a month of use and everything is working great. Both Joshua and Kajik were great to interact with: smart, courteous, and responsive. They are definitely our first call in the future with plumbing problems.

This wonderful, local company bent over backward to help with my emergency issue. The main line to our septic backed up into our toilets, tubs and showers this morning. Kaizen was at my door 30 minutes after I called them. What should have taken maybe 90 minutes took more than 4 hours (crawling, digging and removing a toilet included). I received updates as they went and they took the time necessary to make sure everything was running smoothly. They also took the time to explain the service afterward, with a few suggestions on preventative measures we should consider.I will absolutely call them again, hopefully not in emergency circumstances though!

Pouya was very helpful in solving a challenging and stressful plumbing problem where I had a break in the main line next to the meter. He coordinated with a boring company and the city to work through a challenging route from the meter to the house and they added sleeve for a long term solution since there is a large tree in this location. We were very fortunate and the boring worked very well with a great connection entering the basement of the house. Pouya took a look at my water heater while he was there and gave very good advice and solved a problem with my shower too. Kajik from Kaizen is beyond awesome. I moved to this house last year, and there was no water coming out from the yard hydrant. I searched and searched, still wasnt able to find the shut off valve. Turned out the location where the shut off valve has 2 valves, but only 1 was visible, the 2nd valve was hidden & buried under lots of dirt. BINGO - Kajik took the time to dig the dirt up. (I had another plumber came out last year, the guy looked at the same spot, left, then never show up again.Kajik didnt end up charging us a penny, it mays seem like a small job to him, but its a huge deal for us. He was very kind and easy to understand when he was explaining the problem with our out door hose bib. He took his time Going over the issue and making sure I understood all of the options. In the end it turned out ti be an easy fix, which he did for no charge. We had another issue with our kitchen sink which he told us how we could fix easily by ourselves. I was so impressed with his service, demeanor, and honesty. Instead of doing both of the jobs and charging us. He saved us hundreds of dollars by telling us how we could solve the kitchen sink issue and, quickly fixed our leaking hose bib. We will definitely use them again.

They were incredibly responsive, articulate and helpful, helped organize everything and stuck to the quote they gave me at the start, and then got the work done in a very reasonable amount of time.Josh, the plumber who came out and did the actual work, did a great job (outside during a heatwave!) and managed to keep me in the loop and clearly explain what was going on and why everything had to be done the way it ended up getting done. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!
