They successfully repaired my 4-year-old generator, a task which two other firms had insisted would require a replacement of the generator itself! I was pleasantly surprised when I received the invoice and found it to be lower than their initial estimate. I previously had a service agreement with another firm, but they were of no help when I required them the most. Consequently, I terminated that contract and have now teamed up with Lance & Sons Electricians to safeguard my investment. These guys are top-notch! Update: Still impressed! Ive continued to rely on Lance & Sons Electricians since I stumbled upon them a while back. Just recently, jacob and donovan made the impossible possible to restore our electricity after a tree collided with our home, knocking out our power supply. jacob arrived that very night to evaluate the extent of the damage, informed me of the necessary repairs, and promptly initiated the process with the electricity company. Enduring the scorching heat, donovan showed up the next day, working tirelessly to set everything right. He ensured that everything complied with electrical codes to avoid any future issues. jacob consistently liaised with the power company (they claimed it wasnt an emergency, hence the ongoing power outage, but thats a separate review). He also suggested I arrange for generator servicing, as its been put to the test lately. In the previous review: Im the proud owner of a charming, old house that I cherish dearly. However, it needed some love and care as some of the previous repairs were a bit unique. jacob dropped by, assessed what needed to be done, and provided me with a reasonable quote. donovan and his colleague came over to carry out the work (switching out lights, light switches, and relocating some outlets), and they did a stellar job. jacob also came over to discuss potential future projects, offering valuable insights and advice. I appreciated that there was no pressure; instead, jacob explained that nothing was urgent, but it would be wise to plan ahead. Ive already recommended them to all my neighbors.

I recently had a 24 kw natural gas generac backup generator and an ev plug fitted by lance & sons electricians. it was interesting to note that my neighbor had similar work done but ended up paying significantly more. jacob was in charge of the electrical work and part of the gas line setup. jacob was extremely thorough and consistently kept me updated on the progress. i was pleased to see that the electrical outage during the installation was significantly less than what my neighbor experienced during their generator installation. the generator itself is pretty heavy, around 500 pounds. while it took four men to move my neighbors generator, mine was managed single-handedly by donovan, utilizing rollers and a specially designed cart by generac. the quality and professionalism demonstrated by jacob and donovan was impressive. i will certainly reach out to them for any future electrical needs in bloomington.
