Steve installed a manual transfer switch in our house to enable the use of a portable generator to energize several circuits during power outages. He did a terrific job! His skill and attention to detail are quite impressive. He clearly has a passion for his work, and for taking excellent care of his customers.

Steve went and above and beyond in helping us with a kitchen remodel that included adding lighting, moving outlets, appliances and electrical, and installing new features. He was very knowledgeable and honest, and he genuinely cared about our projects being done correctly and efficiently from start to finish. He was very professional explaining various solutions for us so that everything was done up to code. Steve exceeded our expectations on the remodel, and we will be calling him for any and all future electrical work.

Steve does high quality work. We used his services 25 years ago when we added on to our house and he helped us considerably with not just electrical work but great suggestions on general design. The current work, no pun intended, involved new lighting and switches and, again, Steve’s work was top quality at a reasonable price done promptly and professionally. And, again, Steve threw in some extra help on various random electrical questions I had. I highly recommend Steve’s services.

Steve is an absolute pleasure to work with. Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and a professional through and through. Steve is meticulous, which is what you want in an electrician.We needed some electrical outlets and switches replaced in addition to an inspection for a bedroom where the switches and outlets did not seem properly installed. we are very happy with the work hes done so far and will be using his services again to replace interior and exterior light fixtures.If you need electrical work done, hes the guy you should call.

Steve was amazing. I would rate him higher than a 5 if it was possible.I am sure I am not alone in feeling like I now have an electrician friend. Steve was super at not only patiently walking us through everything he was doing and why it was important from a safety standpoint, but also very experienced in putting in some new outlets with minimal drywall impacts. I will definitely be a repeat customer and look forward to seeing my new friend Steve when I tackle my next project.

Steve was wonderful - professional and very knowledgeable. He communicates well and responds quickly. After consultation he helped us establish a plan for inside work and landscaping lighting. Within a couple of days he completed all the indoor work and in spring will complete the plan. Such a relief to have a competent and responsive professional.

Steve Herndon came to my house a couple times to fix incorrectly installed receptacles, light switches, and light fixtures. Not only did he complete the work in a timely and professional manner, but he took the time to explain to me what was previously done incorrectly and why its important to have those items fixed. If I have any future issues, I will be using Steve again.

Used Steve Herndon for the first time. He fit my small fix in quickly. Fixed broken ballast in garage. Nice guy, professional, knowledgeable, courteous. Also importantly, he was diligent with protective mask wearing while on the job. Would highly recommend and will use him again.

This weekend we had an overhight loss of use of one circuit. The breaker had tripped (died, in fact). I called Steve late on a Friday, told his voicemail that we didn’t have a real emergency since we could work around that circuit until Monday morning. He came then, carefully working his way back through the circuit (one part of which included a complex triple switch arrangement). The two faults were caused by two field mice who gnawed off (fately) the insulation (and fried themselves). Though this was all hidden behind the wall, he had both the knowledge and the specialized gear to find it efficiently. He minimized the cuts to the wall and the time charged with this high degree of professionalism. Very pleasant, cleaned up thoroughly, and worth every penny.

We were having mysterious power outages that would occur on particular circuits but not others. The final straw was when the circuit with the A/C started acting up. Steve determined my vintage Wadsworth box was not wired properly and set to work rewiring the box. Its been about 3 weeks and we have consistent juice throughout the house. Hes thorough in his work and patient in his explanation. I wish every service provider were this professional, a great value for his expertise!

We hired Steve to rectify work done by a previous electrician. Steve found numerous deficiencies and, in very short order, fixed problems that were the result of errors and careless work. He instructs as he works, and we appreciated greatly his explanations of the fixes he employed. He was very efficient, and thanks to that, the charge for his services was much lower than we had anticipated. When we have need again for the services of a master electrician, we wont hesitate in calling on Steve again.
