Originally I had them come because I tried two local plumbers - one never returned any calls and the other was just indifferent and too busy.Now, they do charge a fee - but many do and it seems to be the new normal. That said - highly recommend. I guess you get what you pay for and it is worth the money.I called and spoke with a very nice young lady. Very patient. Very professional.The team they sent was Chris and Koby. The first time was to correct a problem from another plumber regarding a toilet.They came - on time !!! They really go into detail and tell you, and show you, the issue, the pricing, and give you options. At first it seemed odd. But, it made sense and you could see the break down.They pulled the toilet and reseated it. Neat. Clean. Well done. I viewed the first appointment kinda like a blind date - you don’t know who or what you’re getting… and I totally lucked out.My outside faucets were old and I couldn’t shut them fully off and an inside copper pipe seam was leaking. So… I called back and requested Chris and Koby !!! And they came on time. And better yet they notify you so you know when they’re coming.They presented options. We discussed it and they went to work. Neat. Tidy. And I’ve come to trust them. Chris and Koby. I always believe one set of hands. That way there is consistency and they come to know your home, how you live, and what you can afford and they work with you. They don’t push you.I actually trusted them enough to leave them alone in my home while I checked in on a neighbor.Okay… here’s the scoop from my point of view - I like them - Chris and Koby. They talk to you and not at you… they listen. I’m older and they were patient. I’m on a fixed budget and save for what I am going to do.All I can speak to is my experience and so far ‘they’re keepers’ and I recommend them.

Great experience with G&C Plumbing. Everything from scheduling to communication to the actual work that was done. Chris and Ashley were great. No high-pressure sales tactics. Just friendly people that are ready to help out and get the job done. Chris patiently walked us through our options and was happy to have a discussion. I will be using G&C for any for plumbing issues in the foreseeable future.*Update May 2024*Had a plumbing issue so we had G&C out to the house. Barry and Cooper did a fantastic job and helping pin down the issue. As always, the technicians were extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend getting on one of their priority plans. It feels great knowing that I have go-to plumbers for various situations.

Tony and Cole just left our home, and they were the eternal professionals. They fixed the hot water in our upstairs bathroom and did the job in a timely manner, left the space cleaner than when they started, and were a joy to have in our home. They explained everything thoroughly so we understood exactly what our options were, and so we knew the cost upfront. As a result I highly recommend G&Cs services. And if you can ask specifically for Tony and Cole, I recommend it.

Chris Barry and his crew did a great job updating our toilets, sink fixtures , and baseboard heat covers. His team was fast, thorough, and courteous. They returned quickly to add requested items, such as a kitchen sink soap dispenser and tighten a loose lift rod handle. They negotiated and performed additional work we requested that was not on the original brief we sent them. Financing was easy and very reasonable. Chris even investigated a roof leak that was not plumbing related, and suggested another five-star handyperson who made the fix in minutes on another day, and at a great price. Finally, Chris gave us some household tips for eliminating ceiling stains that really worked! In a day and age when I have come to expect less from some businesses, I feel like we got the royal treatment. I would definitely use G&C Plumbing & Heating again, (and probably request Chris Barry by name).

While I was away, a contractor working at my home called to inform me there was a leak in the bathroom shower. Anthony and Ashley were the technicians dispatched to the home early the next morning to evaluate the problem. During a conversation with Anthony he provided me the location of the leak, recommended several fixes along with estimates. I agreed over the telephone to all of the recommendations and the price. He assured me that they would have the leak fixed within a couple of hours. And it was. I have been customer of G&C plumbing for several years due to technicians like Anthony and Ashley. They are prompt and courteous, and always having the customers best interest in the forefront. Many thanks to both Anthony and Ashley, their work is greatly appreciated. .

This happened before with a toilet with G&C we had chosen a tall one and they installed a regular sized one.Selling the Priority Program and warranties were the bigger focus which became a bit A proper breakdown of what I am paying for per line with cost associated to it would have helped more than the lumped items in 3 offerings, high Med low. I chose Med. I found my faucet online for 49.99 but paid 1300.00 for the very generic Delta faucet, new valve covers, and the labor plus a 240 priority client fee.I am most likely at fault for not realizing the costs for these services and I own that and will find a solution but did want to provide you with some feedback on this as I see it as helpful for future clients.Thank you!

They showed up as scheduled, sent email/text to let me know who was coming and when on their way. Shawn explained all work to be done. Shawn, Sully and Mike did a great job replacing our pipes - copper to pex, fixing leaks, installing a toilet, sink and mixing value to water heater. They were all very polite. Shawn answered all my questions and explained all work completed and walked me through what they did. They cleaned up afterwards so there was nothing for me to do. I would definitely use G&C Plumbing again.

Chris G (and Evan) did a great job diagnosing our kitchen plumbing.He is the ultimate professional and extremely knowledgeable.He offered exceptional details addressing our kitchen sink disposal with several options to take. He explained every question we had and also took the time when we asked him to look at a few other things in our home. ie Bathroom Double Vanity Faucet replacement, our water heater/tank ( which he said was fine) and a toilet shut off valve. I figured I would have him look at these things while he was here. He diagnosed all with expertise and finesse. He even went above and beyond to label our water main shut off valves in the basement AND replace our furnace filter!!! I wanted to find a local plumber, its good for the local economy, after searching a bit and several frustrating back and forth text messages with other plumber shops that dont even have an admin or calling service, I found G&C. A single call, thats all it took, no waiting, no frustration, no voice mail, or missed calls, Faye was clear and concise took all my info setup the appointment, she explained all of the details of the process and what to expect when the technicians showed up. On the day of the appointment I received a text message letting me know the techs name and that they were in route and approximate time of arrival. Chris and Zac Entered the house put on booties, after reviewing the issues Chris explained everything that was to happen. They fixed several leaking pipes, replaced a pressure reducer, installed new shut offs, installed a backwater valve, rebuilt two shower valves. They did an outstanding job, cleaned up, were very friendly, they even took in my trash barrels from the street, I mean who does that! No more leaks and everything is running great! Shawn and Chris M helped me with a main water line leak off our private well. The main comes out of the ground through a dirt hole in a service area, and the hole was flooding and close to overflowing as the ground got colder and the leak got worse. G&C fit us in quickly, and the guys did a great job clearing out the hole, repairing the pipe, and properly sleeving it. Happy customer.

He examined the situation and our best options and he and the team showed up the next morning @8am. We now again have hot water and the space was cleaned up entirely. My fears of delays seen in every service industry post COVID we’re avoided by using G&C. Wish there were more than 5 stars

Nate and team were able to work on it same day and solve the issue by replacing pipe and spigot outside. Reasonable pricing on the job. While I do understand the premium type of subscription service they offered I never felt obligated or pressured into it - which is great from a customer standpoint.
