I started having backyard flooding coincident with a plugged sump box drain. The prior homeowner had attempted to deal with the significant runoff from the slope above with some odd rerouting. Suffice it to say that the cause of the flooding was not obvious and took some thoughtful assessment by Chris and Skyler from Best Rooter. Chris was very clear about the possibility that snaking the drain might not be successful, about exactly how he would cost out the job, and what my options were. They also listened thoughtfully to the information I provided on my prior observations and hypothesis. He and Skyler than slogged their heavy snake equipment across some very difficult, muddy terrain. They were able to clear the blockage. The sump is draining, and an hour later the yard puddling has dissipated. All this was accomplished in an hour.The cost was quite reasonable, they were both friendly and professional. Chris responded promptly to my initial call, was flexible in meeting my scheduling needs, and called the morning of the service to verify the appointment. As they were leaving Chris provided advice and information on preventive maintenance I could do to lessen the likelihood of requiring their services in the future.I have no personal connection with this business or the professionals who provided the service.Highly recommended.

We had a bit of a sewer backup. Best Rooter was recommended by a friend. Eric came by promptly, evaluated our issue, and laid out a few different options without forcing anything on me. I appreciate his thoroughness and willingness to suggest different solutions. While I hope I dont need this type of service again, Best Rooter will be my first call if I do.

This old house had a sewer backup. Best Rooter was recommended by another company. Erick came, evaluated the situation, spoke with me about what needed to be done and fixed the problem! I called Best Rooter at 8am and Erick was here in a few hours. What I liked about Erick was that he was friendly, personable and professional. He was also able to explain the situation so that I understood what he was going to do. I highly recommend this company.

We were in a bind: our main sewer line backed up on a Friday and there was sewage all over the floor. Another plumbing business we called made us wait till after the weekend, and when they finally sent someone out on Tuesday, it wasnt even a plumber! We were desperate to have the clog fixed so we could use the water in our house. The first couple of businesses I called were completely booked. Then I called Best Rooter and they sent someone out the same day! Eric was great; he fixed the clog and gave us some great advice about how to delay a very expensive pipe replacement, in case we needed more time to save money for it. He also gave us alternative solutions. In addition, the price was about half of what we were charged by another local company about a year ago to do the same thing. I highly recommend Best Rooter Services--they saved the day! And Eric was on time, very personable and answered all our questions.

Chris did an amazing job getting my sewer line cleared of a tree root. After a week of messing with Garys Plumbing & Heating which they charged me almost double what Best Rooter did and did not even fix my problem, Chris came in a got it fixed in about an hour. My gosh the sound of water draining is wonderful!

In a word, they fixed my drainage problem and what a relief it was! The plumber, Chris, is very competent and hard working. Funny too! He is obviously quite familiar with the stress a homeowner goes through when without toilet and shower access and goes the extra mile to solve problems as quickly as possible. After the work was finished Chris presented the bill and I was very satisfied with the price and value. It was worth every penny and I and my wife really want to thank Chris and John at Best Rooter in Bellingham. They get our highest recommendation.

Called Best Rooter after having an unpleasant experience with a plumbing company with a similar name. Chris answered the phone promptly on a Saturday, scheduled our service for Sunday morning. He initially was going to come out in the afternoon, but we had a graduation party starting at 2p on Sunday. He made an extra effort to get there early, had the drain cleared and was cleaned up in less than an hour! Party went on without a hitch. Most importantly, Chris brings in protection for his drain clearing machine, so there is minimal cleanup afterward. Happy to recommend to anyone needing drain clearing!

John is very good at communicating. We planned on him coming by in the afternoon, and he called that morning to let me know approximately what time he would be over. Then called 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived, he looked over the problem and let me know the options. He was able to fix the problem. Great service.

Look no further - this is your rooter service. I called in a panic - the shower in my vacation rental was backing up and a nasty smelling sludge was coming up through the bathtub drain. My guests were very gracious, but grossed out all the same. Chris from Best Rooter came out ASAP and solved the problem in less than 30 minutes, and cleaned up thoroughly before he left. He was kind, professional, and as a bonus, had a good sense of humor. Fabulous service!

John and Richard employed years of experience in diagnosing a problem in a septic system, dug down over three and a half feet to get access, and cleared the blockage to the drain field. They were careful not to disturb the garden and were friendly and personable while explaining what they were doing. Then they gave us good advice to prevent future problems. We would recommend them heartily.

If youre thinking about using any company other than Best Rooter for your plumbing issues, DONT. John provided the most upfront and honest service Ive been a part of in a long time. We had another company come out and pull the wool over our eyes, saying we needed to pay at least $1400 to clear our backed up plumbing. Thank goodness I asked for a second opinion. John came out and walked me, literally, through the entire process. He ran his instruments down the piping, cleared it up, and said to contact him if it backs up within the next 5 years. This only cost me $270 total, which is a huge relief! John, thank you so much for being a fantastic plumber and even better person.

John Wiley came out at 8 pm last night. I live in a bottom floor condo and I was bailing water out of my sink as fast I could. John assessed that this wasnt a my condo problem (Im just at the bottom of the tree trunk) and he remedied it. He was personable and cleaned up everything. He even rescues animals! Cant recommend highly enough!!

The guys that came and did our sewer scoping were very nice and professional. They included me in the process and talked me through each step of the scoping. Then provided me with a narrated video report of the procedure on a flash drive. It was kind of fun, actually. And I learned alot.

Our kitchen sink wasnt draining, and Blythe recommended Best Rooter, so we called. Originally got an estimate of several days out but after explaining that my wife REALLY wanted it draining, they said they could come tonight with overtime. Then they called an hour later and said they could come during normal business hours. We have an old home but they were able to snake out the problem. Hurrah for draining sinks!

We had a leaky pipe in the basement of our 105 year old house. It was a scary prospect to open the can of worms that is a 105 year old cast iron drainpipe system, but John very quickly identified the problem, offered several ideas for large or small scale solutions, and recommended several plumbers who could offer bids. He was fast, clean, and did exactly what was needed. Hes also a veteran and a really nice guy. Well call him again.
