First class job! Installation went great with Tyler and Brian getting a very complex system in place and operating. Some minor corrections needed but they were made timely and as promised. Colin, their senior tech, came in at the end and tuned the system to perfection, with a much quieter heat pump and furnace. Colin was very patient answering all my questions, of which there were many. A very professional team and the air in the house is so much cleaner and airy, thanks to a system that fits the house.

My furnace was having problems on the Saturday before Christmas, and I had a house full of people. I called Clean Air Heating and Cooling ,and they sent out Josh Walton that same day. Josh was polite, friendly and most important of all – he was knowledgeable. He quickly figured out what was wrong, explained to me what was happening and how he could fix it. He had the needed part in his truck and my furnace was once again keeping us all warm. Thanks Josh and Clean Air for such a great work.

I was greeted by Samuel Garay at close to the appointment time for service.He explained in great detail all of my questions. He repaired a failed, duct taped ,disconnected dryer exhaust tube coming out from the house from underneath the crawl space correctly, plus added more outside exhaust tubing away from the house as to keep the moisture and mildew away from my exterior walls per my request. Great job! Now i can repaint my exterior walls! I will definitely be calling them back soon . Clean air was glad to assist in fixing a non related issue. Next time i call them,it will be for furnace and air conditioning services! Thank you again!

Our heating went out on a Saturday, and Colin came to check it out. He spent about 4 hours going through everything. We needed a furnace replacement and added an A/C unit as well. The office has been hard to work with because they alternate contacting my wife and myself as if we are one person. She’ll talk to the office, they’ll promise to call her right back, and I’ll get emails that look like fishing scams asking me to authorize stuff. We’re never sure where we are in conversation. They installed a heat pump last year and we’re getting the electrical inspectors comments fixed now. Still waiting on the drywall repair that was initially quoted. I’m probably going to have to build a false wall of some kind.5 stars cause we had a tech come out and fix the access panel comment yesterday. We had to have a second tech come out last night and he deserves $20. He spent an hour going through the wiring because something started arcing and the breaker wouldn’t stay on.So, I’m a little frustrated, but I’m not exactly bending over backward to call these guys every day. When I do, they don’t call back but they always email somebody… something.

I am so impressed with the level of service I received from the whole team at Clean Air, the office staff, Mary, Malie and Tyla worked seamlessly together in taking care of scheduling and paperwork. Colin and Aimee worked tirelessly on measuring my house, everything from the type of windows to what kind of insulation we had to make sure I was getting the best system to efficiently cool and heat the space. They explained every option and we went over different styles of ductless heat pump equipment as my house does not have a traditional furnace with floor register’s, we have relied on a wood stove and electric heat to get us through the winter. We decided on the ceiling cassettes because I loved the low profile look and the Mitsubishi hyper heat for the outdoor unit. After this year’s cold winter and last year’s heat wave I was ready to sign on the dotted line. Our house was approaching 90 degrees by noon at the start of the summer, I am so grateful that my family and pets don’t have to go hide in the RV this year. The attention to detail of Randi and Aimee during the install made me feel so taken care of and at peace. It’s currently 95 degrees outside and I have the house set to stay at 70 degrees which it is maintaining easily much to the relief and joy of my husband and our cats. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU a thousand times over. I have attached some pictures of the fabulous work and will recommend this company to anyone!

This installation team was professional and delightful. Aimee, Randi, Bryan and Charlie explained things patiently (I had a bunch of questions!) and listened to my ideas during the process. They went above and beyond and even reinstalled ladder hangers to accommodate the drainage pipe which saved me a hassle. I also appreciated the careful cheerful cleanup once the job was completed. Previous to installation Colin spent hours with me going over the HVAC options and worked out the best price he could.Overall, I am impressed by this company and work team and plan to use them for the years ahead.

Sam our service professional was competent, personable & engaging. From the scheduler to our servicing, everything worked smoothly & perfectly. They even gave us a next day service appointment which is unheard of! They honored their estimate which was a fair & competitive price. We highly recommend their company.

When you buy a former hoarders property you know there will be problems that need fixing. With our ‘new’ home, we inherited an old furnace that had a slow but steady gas leak, that periodically refused to heat and basically guzzled a full 250 gallon propane tank every month just coughing out cold air. It was costing us $500 a month, for nothing.Having just bought the home, we were cash poor. We are not made of money. I contacted five local companies for help. Paying $160 an hour plus a call out fee for a dying furnace seemed a waste of money to us, but it’s what others wanted to charge us before they would even come out and look at it. We were concerned that they would spend two minutes looking at the furnace, pronounce it dying, which we already knew, take the money and leave. That’s not service.Colin, of Clean Air Heating & Cooling was different, he offered to come out and take a look and take it from there. We were so relieved. He duly made an appointment, and turned up when he said he would. Here was a technician who actually arrived on the day, and time that they said they would. I was already impressed. Punctuality is important. Time is money, if you take a day off work for an appointment, you can’t wait in all day for nothing.He checked it thoroughly and gave us various options. To repair it, (and he outlined the probable costs) or to replace it. He made sense. With such an old furnace, with total long term neglect we would be throwing even more money away. Did they even do parts for it? He went through everything thoroughly. What did we want? What was our budget? What was important to us? Did we have allergies? When were we thinking of doing the project? Did we need help with financing? Did we need a payment plan? We were most surprised at the reasonable cost that he quoted that we signed on the day. We agreed when the project would start and I couldn’t wait!One thing that I need to add here, it’s all very well having a new furnace installed, but if your duct system is leaking, and/or dirty the benefits of the heating provided will be lost, through the vents. I hadn’t even thought of that. Luckily Colin had. More sense. We arranged for that to be done by them too. (See my separate review for that).The old furnace was removed in what seemed like minutes. They were safety conscious, thorough and efficient. I was impressed. They obviously know what they are doing.Next came the installation. Because of the former owners DIY installation of the old furnace, David and Isiah had to work extra hard and fix all those problems first before fitting the shiny new furnace. We hovered in the background, fascinated by all the work being done. They worked well as a team. Installing the furnace was not easy, but they managed it. We were excited to see it progress. Much testing and double checking later they fired it up. Wow. The 95% efficient furnace quietly purred into life, and before we knew it we were all sweltering and hot. My husband and I smiled at each other. Just wow, we were so glad that we chose this company! As David checked all the vents for the temperature, I mentally vowed to turn the heating thermostat down. We are delighted with the work done. The furnace is quiet, completely efficient. The house is warm. No more propane wasted. We can already imagine the savings to our heating bill! We are now fully ready for winter 2021.The work was completed on time. They were polite, friendly, informative to the work being done. They cleaned up before they left. All in all, we cannot recommend them highly enough. Everyone at this company goes above and beyond to ensure the job is done. They are reliable and complete professionals.Our next project is a new Tankless Water heater. We WILL be using them for this project as well. (Review to come when the job is done). While waiting on hold for tech support with Navien for extra assistance to sort out strange error codes, Josh stayed busy with doing a flush of our system while waiting to stay busy. A very efficient use of time. They were able to get to my home within 1 hour of my initial call. Very impressive.

Our furnace began to have issues where it wasn’t able to heat our home. We contacted several companies and decided to choose Clean Air Heating & Cooling based on their ratings and quick response time. They dispatched Bryan who called to say he could show up earlier than scheduled. We gladly accepted the earlier time since our furnace wasn’t working. Bryan was both knowledgeable and courteous. He quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended a repair. The furnace exhaust condensation drainage had been incorrectly installed and was not to spec. This bad drainage was causing back pressure which was overloading our gas furnace inducer motor causing it to shut down. We approved the repair and our furnace was working again in a little over an hour after he arrived. The new drainage configuration solved the issue which can be seen in the attached photo. Based on our experience we would recommend Clean Air Heating & Cooling especially because of Bryan.

I have had work done by on two occasions by Clean Air Comfort Systems. The first time was an emergency repair on the first day of winter when our furnace stopped working. After first calling another well known heating/AC business (who didnt answer or return phone calls) and another that told me they couldnt respond until March, Clean Air came out that very afternoon and fixed the problem.Subsequently, I had Clean Air Comfort Systems perform annual preventative maintenance on my gas furnace, heat pump, hot water heater, and gas fireplace. On both occasions I was very impressed with the three employees Ive met. All three were knowledgeable, personable, and honest. Just as important, they took time to explain what they were doing, why they were doing it, and document their findings and recommendations without any pressure or hard sell. They provided me information on which I can make decisions.This is what I look for in a business - responsiveness, integrity, and reliable information.2025 Update: Ive just had a new heat pump and furnace installed by Clean Air Comfort Systems and I think Brian and Tyler, besides being personable and answering my questions, did a professional and excellent job of the installation. I also appreciate the fact that Colin, the owner, is hands on and personally stopped by to do a final QA/QC inspection. Clean Air Comfort System is a good, reliable, and responsive HVAC contractor to work with.

This place is amazing. They helped us out a few years ago when our furnace died. I called early morning and we had a brand new furnace by night.The most recent project ithey did is the fireplace. Sam and Josh were very professional and helpful. They came over on a very short notice and did a great job of changing the fireplace glass.There is a big advantage of becoming a member for about $10 a month you get on the priority list and get discount on visits.

Keith with Clean Air Comfort Systems came out to provide an estimate and was willing to factor in the cost of installing the tank-less water heater that I had already purchased through Lowes. David and Dan did a great job installing a new super high-efficiency furnace, Pure Air filtration system and the water heater. The furnace is whisper quiet and heats the house in half the time of our old furnace, and the air filtration makes a huge difference. The tank-less water heater is amazing and saved a lot of space in our small garage. Two thumbs up!

Discovered these guys via YouTube. I was in the market for upgrading our heat and was researching ductless systems. Best decision! Collin came out in a matter of days even though they were in the busy season. Gave us a quote on site for ductless mini split in 3 rooms and new kitchen hood fan install. Scheduled again quickly to start the work so we could have heat in our offices and bedroom! Everyone, (not naming names because I know I will forget someone). was courteous of us and our home. They were willing to answer all our questions and left all jobs with a high attention to detail and clean. We got several estimates done when we were shopping around for a new system, and Colin from clean air was one of only 2 estimators that actually did a proper load calculation on our home to size the equipment appropriately based on our current insulation values and future renovation plans. This is an extremely important step that a lot of homeowners are unaware of. For such a large investment, its pretty shocking that most companies leave it out. He took thorough notes and was very communicative throughout the process, and their estimate ended up being very competitive with other options. Do yourself a favor and get an estimate from them before you make your decision.

After being without hot water for over a week, a contractor came to install a replacement for our gas tank heater, but said they couldnt make it meet code. So found Clean Air Heating and Cooling through PSEs service. Clean Air Heating and Cooling was able to install a new tankless hot water heater the next day! Other companies were offering service 4-5 weeks out. Aimee and Randi did a great job of removing the old tank heater and installing the heater, having to deal with installing on a concrete wall. The area of installation was cleaned well afterward. Aimee and Randi were very friendly and competent and showed me a few tips about the heater before leaving. They even left me with extension cords to use until the permanent outlets can be installed by an electrician, hopefully later this week. I highly recommend them.

If I could give this business a 10-star review I would. They came out to check on a problem I had with starting my 20-year-old gas fireplace after some outside work on the house. Clean Air Heating and Cooling diagnosed the problem immediately and not only did they fix the issue, they cleaned out the fireplace and replaced the logs correctly (they had been installed incorrectly), and the fireplace looks brand new. I cannot say enough good things about Colin, our technician. I hit him up for an estimate while he was here for a couple of heat pumps we could also use in the summer for air-conditioning and not only did I find him knowledgeable, polite, and accurate, his estimate came back lower than the other two companies I used for estimates. I am so relieved that I was referred to Clean Air Heating and Cooling for their expertise regarding help with my old gas boiler radiator system. It was precisely their technicians experience, knowledge and specialized expertise that may have potentially saved my life, as when he arrived to look at a single radiator that was not generating heat, he discovered a whole host of issues regarding my current old heating system, one of which was a leak in the exhaust pipe in the attic, which was accumulating and releasing carbon monoxide into the house. This issue was not noticed and written up in the inspection report that was recently done before I purchased my current home. I recently moved in and had lived in the house for about one month, was extremely tired, and was not feeling well. With the technicians encouragement, I received a blood test at the hospital, which confirmed that I indeed had low levels of carbon monoxide poisoning in my blood. He not only addressed the problem of ensuring there was consistent heat in the entire system and fixed the carbon monoxide leak in the exhaust pipe, but addressed other issues and helped me create a plan to upgrade my system so it is safer and more efficient in the future. I am truly impressed with how helpful, knowledgeable, caring and supportive Clean Air Heating and Coolings technician has been. I fully trust and value the work he has done and feel that the service they offer is also very reasonably priced as well. I called Clean Air Heating & Cooling after having four companies in my home over the past several months. Two weeks ago, I filed a claim for my boiler, which was giving me an error. The error increased gradually, and eventually, the boiler got to where it almost didn’t reset. After two weeks of the technician coming to my home, semi-evaluating the issue, and ordering more and more parts, my boiler still wasn’t fixed, and the tech was no closer to figuring out the problem than the day he came.I’ve lost heat and hot water numerous times, so with a three-year-old, my family was concerned that we could lose heat over the cold weekend. Out of desperation, I called Clean Air, hoping they could figure out what was wrong before the weekend. I called Clean Air at 4 pm, 20 minutes after my previous tech left, and they had Colin at my home by 6. Colin called to get an idea of my concerns and stated that the manufacturer closed at six, so he would call them before to have them on the line when he arrived at my home. When Colin came, he worked with the manufacturer over the phone and determined within 20 minutes what the issue was; he ordered parts and found a temporary fix to hold us over until the parts came in.At this point, I was blown away by Clean Air’s customer service and Colin’s commitment to his job and customer. After Colin got us up and running, he took the time to explain how the boiler, heated floors, and hot water worked. Since I’m from Texas, boilers are new to me, and I was a bit intimidated by the equipment. Colin was able to explain everything in a way that I feel confident in its operation and my ability to maintain everything on my own. I first worked with Clean Air in August of 2020. We had just bought the house and the upstairs needed air conditioning. I was very pleased with the quality and efficiency of Clean Air. I have had many dealings with contractors over the past 50 years. CleanAir Comfort Systems recently installed a mini split system heat pump to replace our electric baseboard heat system. While it is too early to determine the operating efficiency, I am pleased to report this as the first 5 star experience Ive ever enjoyed. The same applies to their electrical sub contractor, Wilson Electric & Dad.One year later the system has been working perfectly. The warranty inspection done today by Sam was equally professional, five stars again.

Our brand-new furnace suddenly STOPPED WORKING on December 22, in the midst of a cold spell --- and right before Christmas!A call to CLEAN AIR HEATING & COOLING brought a team of two very good technicians to our site. The indoor temperature had fallen to 50º and we had no idea why. CLEAN AIR figured out the problem from my initial phone call, and the team indeed confirmed that it was a frozen condenser line. This is accessible only via the crawl space under our condo, so that meant Randi and Luke had to crawl underneath, literally knock off the chunk of ice that had formed on the line, and get things open and moving again.CLEAN AIR installs furnaces according to manufacturers recommendations for expected climate conditions. In these days of Climate Change, however, expected conditions may be quite variable. We had had a low of 11º that night --- expected conditions were 20º. However, given the climate variability we are now experiencing, we requested heat tape be installed on the line to forestall further issues during unexpected cold spells. It WILL happen again and we want to be prepared.Randi and Luke did the work quickly and efficiently. Our furnace has functioned perfectly since, and weve been cozy ever since.Another great response from CLEAN AIR HEATING & COOLING!___________________________________________________________Our 28-year-old gas furnace failed on November 18, and our regular contractor was unable to respond for a full week.CLEAN AIR HEATING & COOLING responded to my plea for help from a Google search for heating contractors. The CLEAN AIR specialist was out of town on Saturday but did a ZOOM meeting with us that evening to determine the situation and better understand our needs and expectations. The next day, Sunday, upon his return from the airport, he came out to our condo to assess the situation, take measurements, help us select a furnace, and get things moving.On Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, the CLEAN AIR furnace installation team arrived as scheduled, removed the old furnace, and installed the new furnace. The CLEAN AIR crew, headed by Randi and Malie, was thoroughly professional. They were tidy and attentive to details, and left the area totally clean. Their work is top-notch.We are thoroughly pleased and highly recommend CLEAN AIR!

Update: I ended up calling again to use this company to schedule a possible repair of my fireplace, which I couldn’t get working (and didn’t want to mess around with for fear of inadvertently blowing myself up with the gas). Twitched a couple things, told me what to try if it came up again (not that it should). I can’t say enough good things about Sam. Clean Air is lucky to have him. I really like my HVAC system and the super response I get from Clean Air.04/17/23 I had a Lennox heat pump and furnace installed with a smart thermostat in May 2022. April 2023 I had Clean Air out to do the first year service. Sam, one of my original installers, was the technician who came out.Sam was fine with me observing and asking questions. He was thorough, confident in his work, and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. I had a few questions about how I’d been using the system and he was completely knowledgeable without having to refer to manuals or call someone else.Again I am pleased with the outstanding service I received. Clean Air Comfort installed a new heat pump in my 60 year old house and they were great! I had 3 other bids, including a lower bid for a different heat pump, but the bid from Clean Air comfort included 2yrs maintenance, and better guarantees, and generally I was much better informed about the system chosen than with other HVAC contractors. Their professionalism, communication and careful work went well beyond my expectations. They also serviced and repaired my free standing gas stove, disconnected and capped the gas to my old (now dead) gas furnace. I would definitely contact them for any future air conditioning service need and highly recommend Colin, Matthew and the Clean Air Comfort folks if you want to be sure it’s done right, done on time and the equipment will deliver excellent heating and cooling.
