Needed emergency service on a Saturday morning due to plugged sewer line. They were very good to let us know how many people were in front of us for service and assured us they would show up no matter how long it took.Made it early evening and promptly found where the problem was. Was clear on prices (not the cheapest) but got the work done quickly and professionally. Even went the extra mile to clean rust staining out of a toilet bowl caused by my attempts to unclog the drains.

Needed a plumber fast to assist workers building a retaining wall on my property who discovered they needed to reroute the water main onto the property to complete construction of the wall. Garys was recommended by the contractor and when I called Garys for help, the receptionist helped me schedule the plumber right way including the initial visit to assess the situation and the follow-up to perform the work necessary. On both days, Garys called ahead to let me know plumbers were on the way and they arrived promptly at the scheduled time. The plumbers that responded were professional and knew exactly what was needed, coordinating with the wall contractor and got the work done quickly while still doing an excellent job and being careful to keep dirt out of the line.

Ok, I dont know how everyone does not use this company for all plumbing needs. They came out last week for a minor clog in our hotel. They were quick and efficient, and communicated the whole process. Brandon and Leah I believe were our techs. Absolutely loved them. NOW for the Absolute reason this company will forever have the business of our property, just 2 days ago one of our public restrooms started backing up. No biggie we put it out of order, schedule with Garys for the following morning. Yhall when I tell you within an hour of Making that call... all hell breaks loose... litterly. I called left a frantic message with very real stress laced in my voice. BRANDON a true hero calls me back, says he is finishing up a job and he will be right over. He was here for hours with us, till midnight, he also got an apprentice and the parts manager on sight. Huge shout out to all three of them. Brandon and team found the source of our problem explaining the next steps we needed to take even told us the companies we could use. By the next morning those companies he suggested were on site fixing our puctured line to restore normalcy in our Hotel. And the cherry ontop this morning our favorite techs Brandon and Leah came by to run the camera through the line just to make sure we were in the clear. When one of the most stressful situations occurred Garys plumbing was the absolute best. Forever customer for sure. Thank you Brandon and team.

Excellent experience with Garys. I woke up to find no hot water on a Thursday morning and called three plumbing companies recommended by my local Facebook group. I had to leave a message with two and then I called Garys where a live person answered the phone. They sent a plumber (David) out within a couple hours. It turned out that I needed a part that had to come from the manufacturer so he arranged to have that sent out overnight, it arrived on Friday, and he came back to put it in on Saturday morning. I was very happy with his clear explanation of the problem and the breakdown of charges. And of course having such a fast turnaround was quite unexpected. Thank you, Garys!

I have a spirited house whose walls are full of surprises, which means my heart rate goes up every time I need to have something fixed. But if I could give Owen 10 stars, I would. He is punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, and when my job turned out to be twice as complicated as anticipated, he took every surprise in stride. Our water heater had leaked all over by the time I got home from work on a Friday night. My first thought was, What plumber will I get to come out on a weekend?. My second thought was, How much is this going to cost me??. I called Garys because I saw that they got great reviews and were open 24/7. Right away, Owen picked up. He was super helpful and willing to come out that night to fix it! He gave me a quote over the phone (and after calling around I realized it was by far the lowest price!) and was able to stick to the price, even after having to do some extra, unintended work on the project. The new water heater looks and works great. I couldnt be happier with Garys and highly recommend them! They are my plumber from here on out!

Worth every penny spent. The techs sent out were knowledgeable (I worked in residential construction for close to a decade), professional and extraordinarily helpful with a nasty clog I couldnt clear despite many attempts at (my 80 yr old plumbing ate two snakes). The price isn’t cheap but I will say I would have zero reservations about paying it again. I highly recommend using them as they will certainly be getting a call from me for future work.

Great work. I appreciated the prompt response and how the plumbers explained in detail what they were doing. My only complaint is that at the end of the appointment, the plumber tested the water pressure without notifying me - and used an outdoor spigot that was duct taped shut because it was broken. I wish that they had asked me if they could remove the duct tape first so that I could have directed them to another line.

Our water heater went out unexpectedly and Garys was able to send out a technician the same day when we called around 4 pm. Jaycee and Chris came out, gave great advice, and even brought along a new water heater in our size to our appointment in case we needed a new one (which we did, thank goodness for their foresight). Jaycee was off the clock and volunteered to do our project and Chris went with him even though he usually doesnt do work out in the field. We are so grateful that they made time to do this same-day, last minute replacement on a Friday night, and that they stayed until 9 pm to get it done! They were both professional and kind, and Sarah (who scheduled our appointment) was great at communcating and very kind. We would highly recommend Garys for your urgent water heater needs! Very impressed with service, Will and Loren were able to come out earlier than the appointment time and had the problem resolved very quickly! Very professional and great experience from start to finish!*Update* Since my last review Ive used Garys multiple times for kitchen/bathroom sink drains/drain pipes, faucet install, exterior water faucet, and entire furnace replacement/AC install. Techs and service are always top notch!Most recently I had my main sewer line back up at the worst time possible (our recent sub freezing temps/high snow fall and ice storm and it was Christmas holiday weekend!) I called on Tue after the long weekend, explained my situation and Garys was able to get someone out same day! After I hung up, I got a call right back saying they are on the way! Amazing! Matt and Hunter arrived and went right to work, got my sewer main cleaned out (fortunately it was just a clog) and even ran a camera down all the way to the city main, pretty cool! Im constantly impressed with Garys professional techs, quality of service, and the fact that they genuinely care about your situation!

We appreciate that they dont price-gouge their customers for after-hours emergencies, and the plumbers are always courteous and professional (they even wear shoe covers!) There arent long wait times for house calls, and they are fair and transparent with their prices. During our last call, the plumber helping us noticed a major issue with our pipes that was unrelated to our service call. We were so grateful that he made us aware, as it could have posed a very serious safety issue in the future had we not known. We highly recommend Garys Plumbing.

Emergency availability was difficult to find - my previous plumber and rooter no longer offered emergency service. Several calls to others never were returned. I will stick with Garys!

Garys Plumbing is our new go-to. They helped us out this previous winter with a leaking pressurized pipe and showed up the same day during the below freezing temp week. I couldnt believe how quickly they fit us in.More recently I had them out to replace both outdoor spigots. The tech, Matt, was just fantastic! Not only did he show up at the beginning of the time window but he he also did all the things that one would hope for regarding customer service, i.e. asking if we needed water before turning it off, showing pictures of the work, informing us of unrelated work that should be followed up on and giving estimates of that work.Overall, I like the company. I like the people Ive dealt with from scheduling to the actual service and I cant complain about the cost.

Good, honest, professional and fast! Thats how I would describe Garys Plumbing. We had a clogged toilet after our 4 year old attempted to flush some non-toilet-friendly items and we called around to a few local plumbers. Garys didnt have same-day availability so we had another plumber come out. They quoted us $400-$1200 for the repair. We decided to wait for Garys and they were able to come the following day and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes for only $150! We were first quoted $250 but the technician knocked $100 off since it didnt take very long to fix. We wouldve paid the $250, but were so grateful for the lower price. I highly recommend Garys Plumbing!

Plumbers have gone to fixed costs in my area and it is difficult for me to justify the final cost, but it was higher with Garys Plumbing than their competitors for a similar product. I would have to rank a recent experience with Garys as one of the TOP Customer Service experiences Ive ever had! I received a call from my tenant with a fairly emergent plumbing issue just after 5:00pm on a Monday and frantically started making phone calls to plumbing companies - most of which were already closed or were not particularly helpful. I got Garys voicemail and opted not to leave a message but continue trying other options.I ended up on the phone with my tenant a few minutes later when a call came through from an unfamiliar number. I decided not to switch over and answer it, finished with my tenant and then listened to the voicemail that had come through. The voicemail was from a very nice woman at Garys Plumbing who had seen my call come through while she was on the other line and wanted to be sure there wasnt anything I needed before she turned on their call forwarding for after hours calls. Amazed that someone would go to that effort after 5:00pm on a Monday, I quickly called back but alas, the call forwarding had already been turned on.I ended up speaking with the most wonderful man who took the after hours call - he repeated back to me everything he was inputting in their system to make sure it was an accurate reflection of the situation and of my desires. He then assured me a technician would call within the next 10-15 minutes.Sure enough, I received a phone call not 10 minutes later from a service technician at Garys. I discussed the situation with him and told him that the water had been shut off and therefore the emergent nature of my initial call had subsided and I wasnt keen on paying an emergency service call fee. He informed me that Garys does not charge emergency fees - the service call fee would be the same during business hours or not - and, that the schedule for the following day was full, so, he could go to the house that evening after he wrapped up one additional call.I was blown away, to say the least, with my experience with Garys - the excellent service continued until the service call was complete and the issue had been remedied. My expectations were far exceeded. I will never use - or refer to - another Plumbing Company!

Plumbing project involved assessing and replacing cast iron drain piping, along with related cast iron vents, for a 1,000 sq ft house built in 1910 in South Bellingham. This piping was deteriorating in terms of drainage, i.e. backing water up into the tub and potentially elsewhere, as well as leaking into the crawlspace under the house. Smaller related project involved replacing the dryer vent in the crawlspace. Matt and Tony from Garys Plumbing made an initial site visit, took detailed photos, provided bids for levels of service/repair/replacement, and answered questions about scope and length of time the project would take. Once the work was completed, they took detailed completion photos, cleaned up the work site in the crawlspace, inside the house, and outside the house where vents and exterior plumbing were replaced, and provided a detailed invoice describing the work done.Matt and Tony were very professional, paid great attention to detail in terms of documenting the before condition and after completion of the project, had a great work ethic, e.g., worked well together, no slack time, and kept me informed on progress of project, including picking up of additional materials, as well as including the timing of any inconvenience re: temporary shutoff of drainage for sinks, appliances, and toilets.Very pleased and appreciative of these folks, as well as the staff back at the office who are part of the Garys Plumbing Team, who kept me apprised through email and phone about arrival times so I could secure pets and restroom/shower access for the 3-1/2 day project.Thank you!

Kitchen faucet was leaking and garbage disposal was not being used. Cade removed garbage disposal, replaced all plumbing under the sink, and installed a new faucet. Six-month warranty given with job. Cade was professional, friendly, and efficient. Job took about 2 hours. Im happy to recommend Garys Plumbing & Heating and will use them again.

I own a commercial kitchen. Our sink drains got clogged right when it was time to do the dishes. Phoned Garys, and they were there within 20 minutes. There was no emergency charge, and the fee for the estimate was deleted because we had the service performed on that same day. I had called the plumbers,who had originally installed the plumbing, and they could not come out until 7 days later. So glad I called Garys. And their technician was very polite and helpful!

Ryan and Matt came out on short notice to fix the source of an unknown leak that was flooding my garage. Turns out my water heater was very bad and needed to not only be replaced but brought to code. The are friendly and professional and very thorough. These guys went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were safe and everything was useable. They are amazing!

Toren was sent out to unclog a bathtub drain. He showed me the options and the prices. Luckily, he was able to unclog the drain with the first option which had the lowest cost. Garys was the only plumbing contractor who actually had a person answer the phone. They were very flexible with having a tech come out, analyze my problem (just my being an idiot trying to replace the innards of my toilet tank), make the simple adjustment, and leave. And all they charged me was their minimum service call fee of 39.50.Since I paid Amazon less than $9 for the replacement parts and the cheapest any plumber I was able to contact (including Garys) was in the hundreds of dollars, I was very happy with the result.

We had found there was no hot water and when we couldnt get the pilot light to stay lit we called Garys Plumbing to see what could be done. We were informed there was no extra cost for after hours house calls and the tech said he would come out that night. He found the problem, did some cleaning up and got the pilot light going again. We were very happy with the service and would recommend Garys Plumbing and Heating.

Had an emergency backup of the sewage line tonight around 8pm. I called the office and told the secretary what was happening. They had a plumber give me a call in 2 minutes. I told him what was happening and asked him a quote for the work. He gave me a quote and said he would be at my house in 20 minutes. He arrived on time and got to work. He was friendly and professional. He charged me exactly what he said it would cost and threw in a $35 off coupon I was unaware of. They are going to come out and run a camera down the line in a couple days to see what caused the problem, with no charge. I am very happy and will continue with their services.

Couldnt be more thrilled with their knowledge, service and professional courtesy. Garys calls ahead to let you know the technician is available (instead of having you waiting around the house during the entire service window). The technicians explain what they suspect the issue may be and how theyre going to fix it. They document and take photos as needed during the service call. Invoices with explanations of the service performed and photos are emailed directly to the client (meaning I dont have to remember what they did).They also cover their feet with paper booties every time they enter and exit the house (without being asked). They are incredibly efficient and their charges are reasonable. Garys is the best!

Garys Plumbing responded very promptly to our service call. Cade, the tech assigned, asked some questions, listened carefully and fixed the immediate problem. Because we had experienced recurrent problems with this particular part of our system, some warranty work was involved. The company stands behind their work, the warranty was honored and we were treated very fairly.Cade went beyond to explore possible unidentified causes for the repeat problem. He discovered our water association was delivering excess pressure on the incoming supply line. The tech installed a pressure control valve near the intake to our home which has brought the water pressure down to within the appropriate range and should resolve the problem.We are very pleased with the professionalism of the Garys Plumbing staff and will not hesitate to call them for any future plumbing needs.

Lauren, Garys Plumbing plumber, was sent over quickly when we called about the hot water tank leak. It turned out to be only a valve that needed replacing from a broken seal, but cost $290.00. It seemed exorbitant, but they were prompt and able to answer a quick phone consult about another problem the next day. Highly trained and competent, though we had been spoiled by a neighbor plumber for years who would have charged $75.00, (and often charged nothing). Not sure how to compare.

At that time, I found the service person to be knowledgeable, efficient, and completed the job well. He also educated us about our options for the future if we decide to go with gas.This summer(2017) we needed to have our new home water heater inspected and they did a thorough job of checking for leaks and gave us lots of information about the options if we choose to replace the tank.

Jeremy of Garys Plumbing provided great service that I doubt we would have received from any other plumbing provider. Our manufactured home , only 11 years old, needed lots of work before we moved in. He was sympathetic, on the mark with his appraisal of the situation, and efficient in fixing the problems. Had I done the work, it would have cost a dozen trips to Hardware Sales or some other outfit, broke the house more, and probably ended a relationship. Our situation goes to show how complicated plumbing is and that it requires a trained expert. Great job!

Gary’s Plumbing, 3/15/17. I recently had an issue with my water pressure being too high and started having issues with my bathroom faucet starting to leak. So I called Gary’s up and asked to have someone come out and diagnose my problem. Turns out my PRV failed and needed to be replaced and I also needed a couple of faucets fixed as well. A week later the plumbers came to my door and were very polite and eager to get the job done. They first fixed the issue in the bathroom and then fixed the cold water valve that failed in my garage sink. Then comes the failed PVR. Problem with this was that my valve is located under the house in the crawlspace, well this time of year my crawlspace has about 2 to 4 feet of water at all times. I helped out the best I could by offering my water pump to try and get as much water out as possible but it wasn’t going as fast. So they jumped right in and got the job completed while they were swimming. I was very impressed with the professionalism and quickness of the job. Price was reasonable as well. Thank you again for the work done on our home. I will call again for future issues if needed.

So I took 5 minutes out of my day and lite it myself, shame on me.Shame on Garys trying to charge me that ridiculous price onto the 88$ to come to my place. WOW, greatest plumber ever. Super knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and got the job done in about 30 minutes. I had already tried snaking myself, without success. Wouldnt hesitate to call Garys again, they are my go-to plumber now.

There are some questions about pricing from folks in the reviews - but you get what you pay for. Fast, competent and friendly carries some value that you pay for. In the end, I dont imagine that their cost is actually much higher over a period of several years. (Guaranteeing their work...)
