I called on Tuesday for furnace tuneup. Appointment was made for Wednesday. Evan came out and found a couple of things wrong. It is an old furnace. It took a day for me to decide if I wanted to get my current one repaired or replaced. I call back yesterday for repair. Evan was back out today and got my furnace back in working condition. Great job! Look forward to doing business in the future if needed!

Same day service, came within 2 hours from my call. The service man from My Guys Plumbing, Evan, was very courteous, professional, and thoroughly explained what he was doing. He listened to my issue and gave me some very good advice as well as options as to what I needed to consider about my present air conditioner and furnace. He did not use any sales pressure techniques. I felt that I was getting the proper repair that my unit required. Very polite gentleman. I would do business with this company, again, if necessary.

They were prompt and really courteous when I needed to schedule a service for my drains being clogged / back upped and possible water leakage. However, I believe they grossly overcharged for snaking each drain ($179 a piece) as it was not a main line clog and the clog was not severe at all. I could understand that cost had the clog been quite severe and time-consuming, but nope, just was some hair that clogged up the drain and was a minor fix! Plus, we had some misgivings about cutting out part of the ceiling in our kitchen that had water damage. They cut out a giant hole (including beams) but there was no pipe there. Thus, it really didnt need to be cut at all - at least not to the severity that it was cut. They charged an additional $199 for cutting through the ceiling. I feel that was an excessive cost as well. Plus, we need now hire a contractor to repair that part of the ceiling which is going to be extremely expensive. We needed a new faucet installed for the shower as well which they were prompt in doing that as well. Overall, it was nearly $700 for some very minor work. Our invoice literally says, snaked two drains, caulked some, faucet replacement, and hole drilled into ceiling. I feel like they charged twice as much as they should have, and I feel they should make their prices more reasonable.On the upside, they did do a really thorough inspection and were there to answer any questions we had, but I still feel that the cost unclogging of both drains was priced extortionately. Overall, I did appreciate the timeliness of the repair, but I cant help feeling a bit taken by the excessive cost. We had no insurance to cover it so we had to pay out of pocket. I just want to make people aware to maybe get price estimates from various places because it might end up saving you quite a bit. We are first time homeowners so we didnt really know but lesson learned!Update: We received a refund check / adjustment for some of the services rendered. We really appreciate the company going above and beyond in that regard. I have updated my star rating to 5.

I’ve used this company for many years and have always been 100% happy and satisfied with their work.Ive had 3 furnaces and also central air installed by them.All the employees I have met have been nothing but respectful. Andy was out yesterday to repair some gas lines and did a thorough job. He was very knowledgeable and very pleasant.I would highly recommend them. From the receptionist to the technicians , they are all top notch!

Just wanted to give a big shout out to Jerry and crew for their help with a very big sewer line repair at one of my rental homes. He was extremely informative, patient and genuine. He took the time to answer all of our questions (we had many!) and reassured us that, despite us doing this long distance, that all would be taken care of. So far, so good! The entire process was very friendly and well informed. I spoke with Jerry and Kathy over the phone , they were both very friendly and helpful. I had My Guys come check out my boiler and give me an estimate on repair or replacement. They were available to show up within a day when others were suggesting at least a week or two delay. The workers showed up on time and are very knowledgable a friendly. They answered all my questions, gave me all my options and didnt try to up sell me. I was very impressed with the owners knowledge of the system since it is discontinued from about 1962. He made me feel comfortable about putting the job in My Guys hands and that I made the right choice. My parents have used them in the past and I will now too.

My General Electric furnace/air conditioner stopped cooling the house on Friday July 3. I called a number of repair shops including personal friends. Initially my appointment was scheduled for the following Monday past the holiday weekend. Much to my surprise, Jerry of My Guys was able to come on Friday afternoon and take care of my problem. Upon arrival, I told him the problem and headed for the air cooling compressor in the back yard. He removed the back panel and pulled out a part and replaced it. He identified another part that was a candidate for replacement, asked if I wanted that part replaced, and replaced it. He put the back panel on. I paid him and he left. He did not even enter the house.I was totally impressed with his professionalism, his problem diagnostic ability and resolution, his confidence and just getting the job done. Kudos to Jerry and to My Guys for showing up early and fixing the problem in an expedient manner. You guys (and gals) are one heck of a team. THANK YOU!!

Jerry and his team are exactly the type of experts you hope to have service your home. I recently purchased an old century duplex and was expecting to just have to winterize my furnaces. However, Jerry was honest in his assessment and it turned out that the supply ducts and fluliners were doing more damage to the furnace and chimney than good. His pricing was affordable and his team was prompt in their arrival, the service was exceptional and their cleanup was fantastic. Going forward I will continue to use their services and I would strongly recommend anyone else to do the same.

Jeff was a good serviceman for our needs. He needed to replace our 17-yr old water heater. Because we live in a condo, the space that held the old water heater was enclosed with an Aprilaire system. In order for both the new water heater (now shorter and wider) and Aprilaire system to all fit in the enclosed space, Jeff had to do some adjustments to make it happen and came back a second day.An additional problem, separate from the above, occurred with the new water heater itself, when the system was not heating up properly. Jeff discovered a wire connecting the electrical system to the water heater was not working properly and spent some time getting that to work correctly before he signed off on the second day. He was a very conscientious worker and did his homework. We were satisfied with My Guys and would not hesitate to call on them again if needed.

Dan was very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I know that when we call MyGuys again. We will definitely ask for Dan Streb to do the work we need! Water heater pressure relief valve broke open because of poor installation from another company that was assigned by home warranty company. The water heater is only 14 months old. After 8 phone calls to the home warranty company, I finally got authorization to find my own vendor. It was going on 24 hours without hot water. I called 4 plumbing companies before I remembered about My Guys. They were kind and empathetic when I was on the verge of panic. They said they would call me back and see if they could get the work done. Not only did they call back when they said they would, but they actually came about 2 hours earlier than they originally thought they would be able. I was overjoyed! The price was a good value and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Jerry and his crew know what they’re doing. I love that he is always looking to get improved products on the market. They replaced our old toilet with a new one that is much more efficient and uses a lot less water.They are punctual and neat. No need for a big cleanup after they leave.We’ve been using My Guys for over 20 years!

I came home to a freezing cold house one evening after work and began frantically calling repairmen. Cody, one the service techs at My Guys, was the first (and only) to respond that evening and explained that he could come out that evening, but was considerate of the cost and recommended that if it was not an emergency that it would be substantially cheaper if an appointment were scheduled in the morning. He assured me that someone from the office would be in touch in the morning by 8:30 am. My phone rang by 8:05 and I was added to the days stops. Cody arrived by 10 am and was very knowledgeable and thorough in assessing the issue. He took into consideration cost and gave me several options including replacing the entire unit because the furnace was approximately 15 years old. We ended up replacing just the blower motor at a cost of approximately $600. The furnace has been working great since his repairs. I greatly appreciated the fact that he genuinely cared about my situation, was very knowledgeable and thorough, and took into consideration cost. I would definitely rehire and recommend My Guys!

Our A/C tuneup from My Guys was 5-star. I was able to make an appointment that fit my schedule. On the morning of the appointment, My Guys tech Cody called ahead and arrived promptly within the appointment window. He was thorough, friendly and knowledgeable -- inspecting and cleaning the unit outside, measuring the temperature drop from the air return to the A/C (a solid 17-degree difference on a mild day), offered advice, and answered all of my air conditioning questions. Cody gave me all the time I needed to ensure I was satisfied with the work performed. He helped me fill out my rebate form (good for a $50 credit from FirstEnergy on the $89 service), as well. Nice job My Guys.
