We are new to the area and just purchased a house. It had some plumbing issues that were beyond my comfort zone to repair myself. I called Mike and he said they would be able to stop by that same day. Mikey and Frosty arrived and I showed them the issues. Mikey gave me a quote before I authorized the work and both gents were polite and efficient. Mikey even showed me some upgrades I can do later to my well pump. I highly recommend them.

Both Gage and Bryson were very professional. They showed us where the wiring was all messed up. Part of the wires were jiggy rigged in a messy way. They pulled it all and replaced it. Looks 100% better. Plus they came on Sunday the morning. Recommend them. Also was pleased that they had everything they needed in all sizes so they wouldn’t have to come back tomorrow which wouldn’t be an option.

When I tell you I’ve called, talked to, and/or worked with, just about every local plumber… as a facilities manager for two apartment complexes with limited man power - things like a break in a main to a building aren’t easy to handle in house. In 2024, all I can say is GOOD LUCK getting someone to show up same day. Mike had absolutely zero reason to scramble and get to me. I had never used him, I could have easily just been brushed aside for the 18th time while I had water shut off to 12 units. Mike gave me his word that he’d have eyes on it by the afternoon - and he kept it. Curtis, his locator, found the leak immediately. JJ and Tim were incredible and worked in the rain and into the night to make sure my residents had water back ASAP. This crew was professional, they were very efficient, and I look forward to using them more on both properties going forward.Thank you Mike and crew - see y’all on the next one!

Finding solid contractors that you can trust at Smith Mountain Lake (Moneta, VA) has been a challenge, but calling Mike with Walkers Plumbing was not only the right decision it was the best decision. Chris & Chad showed up to replace my water heater and expansion tank. They ran into a lot of issues (like, having to remove the trim molding around the closet door to get the old tank out and the new tank in). This took longer than they expected and they didnt upcharge me for the extra labor. All part of the job, they said. They also installed a garbage disposal in the kitchen and had to reconfigure the entire plumbing situation under the sink. Again, all part of the job. The fact that Walkers is also a 24/7 emergency plumbing service gives me peace of mind that they can be available when Im in a pinch. Prices are fair and the team is super professional ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Walkers Plumbing is simply the best. We had a leak in a basement pipe and couldnt figure out where it was coming from. I called Mike at Walkers Plumbing. The next day Bryson and Laci came out. They were both so friendly and very professional. The problem was diagnosed and explained and I was told what needed to be done. It was fixed in no time. The price was extremely reasonable. We had been without water for days waiting for call backs from companies who worked with wells. I called Walkers Plumbing and the owner came out the same day to evaluate our situation. He talked through several options we could use to fix a pipe that burst under our paved driveway that was preventing the water from getting to our pressure tank under the house. The very next day he had a crew out to start working on it. The job was finished the following day. They had to dig two significant areas up and I was concerned with how the yard would look afterwards but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had spread grass seed and covered it with straw after filling the holes back in. The company exceeded my expectations on timelines to restore our water, how professional the crew was, and the communication throughout the process. I will definitely be calling them for future plumbing and well needs. I highly recommend them.

Had a leak in condensation drain for A/C which ruined the living room floor. Called another company which couldnt come out until next day to see what problem was. Called Walkers and they showed up immediately. Walkers had the employees to fix all my problems related to leak and flooring. Chris and JJ did an amazing job. They deserve a raise for their hard work, especially JJ.My living room floor has never looked better. No more leaks from A/C pipe.

I was needing quotes to fix a large sewer project and they were great to communicate with. (Not every plumber is good with communication) Their professionalism was a step above the rest and I have no doubt they would have done quality work. But great work comes at a cost. They were at the top end of my budget and I decided to do someone a bit cheaper, but I felt this company deserved to be recognized nonetheless.

Picture this - buy the dream mountain homestead, start move in, and discover very low water pressure even though the well passed inspection. Luckily, I found Walker Plumbing with a quick search and made a first-available appointment. Bryson and Gage showed up early the next day fully equipped to deal with any issue. After bleeding the lines try and checking everything one can check, they got to work.Less than an hour later, the verdict: only two actual problems, both easy to resolve (for a professional!) and one replacement part. Total cost well below my expectation with solid quality work. Plus, I got an education on 30-odd years of well technology changes along the way. Already have a list of projects to tackle this year and plan to contact Walker Plumbing for each and every plumbing job.

We had a pipe burst with water coming into our dining room from the ceiling. It was 10pm and I called three plumbers who advertised 24/7 emergency service. I ended up leaving a message with each one that I had a crisis emergency. No one called back(until the next morning)By 11pm I tried one more number. And that number answered! And that number was WALKER PLUMBING. He saved the night and was there promptly the next morning with a clean up crew in tow. So thankful Mike WALKER answered the phone in true 24/7 emergency style! And he fixed the pipe!

Courteous, competent, and efficient.We had a horribly clogged sink, and the plumber wed called previously had broken one of the pipes trying to snake it out. The Walker people showed up on time, talked us through the work, made sure we understood the price and everything we were agreeing to.They unclogged the pipes, which was a considerable amount of work, and rebuilt the plumbing under the sink, and didnt take off until theyd swept the floor around their work area as clean as when theyd arrived.Just top notch all around.

We are so grateful to find such competent and courteous folks to resolve this as quickly as they did before it could become much more serious. Mike and his crew showed up Tuesday at 10:30am, found problem (major water leak under our house) and had all they needed to repair it on their trucks!!! They took excellent pictures of the damage and the problem that I will need for insurance claim. His crew also found another issue and have scheduled another visit to repair! Excellent service, reasonably priced!! My new plumber!!

Mike was very knowledgeable and very genuine on the phone.Services were requested on Saturday for the next day, Sunday, but he was transparent that they may not be able to get to it on Sunday due to a previous job. Mikes crew, JJ and Brayden came at 8:30am the following Monday morning. They were thorough and very timely, and fixed the problem. They also explained the problems, and were proactive with replacing equipment to prevent future issues.The price was very fair considering the work to be done and about an hour travel time each way. Everyone was courteous and professional..I would highly recommend.

Just last night, Saturday before Labor Day, we had a plumbing emergency. A pipe under my mother-in-laws house became detached from its fitting. My husband did a Google search to find a plumber that would be available because she lives 45 mins from Bedford. Walkers answered the call, took my information, and gave me an estimate of time. The fee for after hours was $200 plus cost for repairs. Once they arrived, they immediately got to work and had the pipe fixed within 20 mins. They were very professional and also did a check of the other pipes before leaving. We cant recommend them enough. Polite, responsive, and efficient! My mother-in-law now has a go to plumber for any future needs.

My tub in the 2nd floor had been draining slowly for a while and we would just use some liquid plumber and it would be ok for a short period. Well tonight when I got home it would not drain at all! I called Mike at 6 pm and instead of him sending someone out like I asked for he told me what he thought the problem was-(he was right) had to remove the toggle thing (?) because it was broken. Woke up to no water this morning, called Walker Plumbing and they came out within a few hours. Our well pump and the entire workings were at least 20 years old.. They spent the entire afternoon ruling out all the possible problem areas.. Turned out that our entire system was bad, the tank, the pump, the switch, the 197 feet of wiring.... everything.. The heat was horrible, they continued to work throughout the day, not a single complaint. They were determined to not leave until we had water.....mission accomplished. Theyll return tomorrow to dig up and replace the tank. But for tonight they left us with at least limited water until after tank replaced tomorrow. Absolutely great response, great service, awesome crew ...... and all this on the weekend.

Theres nothing like waking up on a Sunday morning with no water pressure. Im so glad we found Walkers plumbing! After calling the office, Mike contacted me back quickly and tried to troubleshoot over the phone before coming out. He detected multiple problems with my water pump and power supply to my well. His crew was professional and very nice. They were able to fix it in a matter of only a few hours. We had to turn our main water valve off to our house as we had a leak in the kitchen wall. I called Mike Walker first thing the next morning (Friday) thinking he would tell us that we had to wait until Monday. His son came out, found the leak and fixed it within 40 minutes. I was concerned that we would have a large bill, but it was more reasonable than we expected. We highly recommend them!

On February the 6th my husband and I had a major sewer back up in our basement. My husband and i was trying to call plumber around that would come out on a sunday night and help. We had try calling multiple place and were not success. When i call Walkers Plumbing Mike answer his phone right away and was able to came out with in 30 min. Woke up and found we had no water pressure. I tested what I could and found power going out from house to well but no well pump coming on. Contact Mike via FB and he responded at 7am! Said he would be here just after lunch which he was. They pulled my well pump and replaced it with a new unit and a great new sand filter. They were done by 5pm and cleaned up before they left. I was out of water for two days, with a toddler who had a stomach bug and felt helpless after contacting multiple plumbers to no avail. Mike and his entire crew are the BEST!!! I had been experiencing low water pressure over the last couple months, had Mikey come out and he changed my water filter and suggested I have my pump pulled. Mike came earlier this week, pulled my pump and discovered all sorts of problems with it - he and his crew had everything replaced and a new sand filter installed in just a couple hours. I hopped in the shower a little while after they left and its like I have a pressure washer in there, my water pressure is AMAZING!! We came home from vacation to very little water pressure that eventually turned into no water. It was Saturday between 4-5pm and I called 4 plumbers. The first one didnt do wells, two didnt answer the phone, but the 4th, well that was Mike. He answered let me know he was on a job finishing up, was gonna grab dinner, and be on his way. Mind you, he was an hour away from me. He arrived and we quickly learned that we had no idea where the wells was, because where we thought it was wasnt a working well. In the next few days Mike and his crew did everything to locate our well, Mike even reached out to the health department to see what they had on file. We ended up having to dig up a small portion of the yard to locate it, but once he found it he was in extra high gear to get it fixed. We ended up having to replace the well pump and they worked in the heat for hours to get us up and running , finished up and cleaned everything up. Mike and his crew were extremely professional and easy to communicate with through out this whole process. I 1000% will recommend Walkers Plumbing to anyone who needsd a plumber.

Excellent service! Mike answered the call late and gave advice to hold us over to avoid an emergency service call. Cory and Bryson came the next day and were professional and friendly. They quickly took out the old water heater and installed the new one. Everything was explained well and they cleaned up when they were done. I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again.

After spending half a day calling at least 10 plumbers in my area, most of whom were not interested in the repairs I needed, I found Walker Plumbing using Google Search. He answered the phone and said he would come look at the leak as soon as he finished the job he was working on. Within just a couple of hours he had inspected and fixed the problem at a very reasonable rate. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt - I would highly recommend him to ANYONE looking for an honest plumbing contractor.

Very impressed with Walkers Plumbing. We had to work through some scheduling issues with a client, but I am really happy to have found Walkers Plumbing. I have an elderly client in Hurt, VA whose toilet was leaking. Mike from Walkers was extremely helpful with making it a priority to get someone out to see if they could fix it. When we found the toilet needed replacement, he was quick to order, deliver and install a nice new toilet for her. Will definitely contact them again the next time we have a plumbing need in their area.
