We had a new Bosch furnace installed this week. Chris and Jake were prompt and just the nicest two individuals you would ever want to meet. Everything went smooth and Chris took the time even after a long day to make sure all my gas appliances were also working properly because he needed to adjust the gas intake to the house. I would also say the Lila in the install department was very kind and informative keeping us up to date on everything. I would 100% trust only AJ Leblanc for all my HVAC and plumbing needs going forward.

I cant say enough positive things about our experience with Leblanc and their staff. After planning a boiler/hot water tank replacement that was scheduled for this summer, part of the job had to be sped up due to the original hot water heater failing.They had installers here the next day to install a replacement tank and get our hot water back up and running.Recently, the second half of the job was completed with the replacement boiler being installed. This house isnt easy to get large heavy things in or out of the basement due to no outside access.Ben and Braydon worked their butts off installing and connecting the new boiler to the hot water tank, running new gas piping and venting (we converted from oil to propane) as well as removing the very heavy, very old boiler, and finally emptying and removing the old oil tank, cutting it in half the long way to get it out. They even covered the old fill and vent holes on the outside of the house.They were clean, neat and always concerned about tracking stuff through the house. Given the scope of the work and the access issues, they did a great job with only minimal cleanup required afterwards.I would recommend Leblancs to anyone with heating/ HVAC needs and would gladly use them again if needed.The first photo shows the spot where the old oil tank was, the last photo shows where the boiler was located.

Our family has been with AJLeBlance pretty much since the beginning starting with my grandparents, my parents, myself and now my daughter. They have always been very kind, accommodating and knowledgeable from the office staff to the field employees.I’ve had the pleasure of meeting David H. He has been to our home on 2 separate occasions to service our boiler. When he came this morning, I was very pleased to see that he was the gentlemen sent again to service our boiler. He is professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and extremely respectful of our home. I will be calling the office to ask that David H. be the service representative sent to my daughter’s home in November to service their furnace.David, it was very nice to see you again. I received a call asking if he could come today as he was available even though he was scheduled for next week. Cameron resolved the problem. I cant say enough about AJ. LeBlancs service. I have used A.J. Leblanc for electrical, plumbing (drain and supply), and HVAC. I had to gut and renovate my entire house (entirely unplanned) and A.J. Leblanc has been incredibly helpful and integral to getting a working home once again.Their electricians updated a 100A panel to 200A, helped with rewiring of the entire home, and made sure everything was up to code.Their plumbers replaced an old cast iron with modern PVC, plumbed in new rough ins for future work, and re-plumbed all existing drains. Then corrected totally wrong existing PEX and ran all new supplies.I will recommend A.J. Leblanc to anyone and everyone needing heating, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical work, and I plan to have them do mini-split installs in the future!

A.J. LeBlanc installed a mini split ductless heating and cooling system at my house and they were absolutely incredible. Everything about the process was extremely smooth, start to finish. Rich was great to work with, he addressed all my needs and came up with several options based on my requests, so I was very happy to have some flexibility in my decision. The quote was detailed so I knew exactly what I was getting and what to expect. The technicians Josh and Brandon were amazing. Josh is extremely knowledgeable and answered every question I had in a way that I could understand without dumbing it down too much. He was very accommodating whenever I had any concerns or if there was something I wanted done slightly different. Every day they were on time and informed me of what they had planned for the day. The scheduled time was from October 10th-14th and they finished on the 13th. I highly recommend hiring them for installing a mini split ductless system!

I had an overheat situation today due to the fact that the furnace was not turning off after hitting the temperature set point. The house was incredibly hot. As usual, Leblanc handled my call for service promptly and professionally. They dispatched Technician David H and he was at my home in a few hours. He was professional and incredibly knowledgeable. David did a meticulous job diagnosing the issue and troubleshooting all of the probable suspect components in my system. In about an hour he had traced the issue to a faulty smart thermostat . David swapped out both smart thermostats and then tested and retested the system to make sure all was well. When David left he had the system running flawlessly. Thank you David H and Leblanc!!!

Our new System 2000 is a work of art, and we couldn’t be any happier with it and how it was installed. The old boiler failed us flooding the basement so we needed a replacement asap, and AJ LeBlanc team took great care of us scheduling the install right away and even installing a small temporary boiler so we can have some limited hot water until we get the big boi installed.There were some complications during the installation that were ultimately resolved in a timely manner. Some unfortunate heating oil spill took place right when they left, but eventually it was also taken care of as well. We appreciated the fact that they owned their mistakes and were rather proactive and open for conversation.Overall, we are happy, love our new boiler system and we would recommend the company to our friends and neighbors.

We have an old house with an old chimney. I recently got estimates from three different chimney companies and the estimates were wildly different in scope and price. We use AJ LeBlanc to service our boiler, so I called up and asked to meet with a technician to get advice. Their technician Robert was amazing. Hes clearly an expert at dealing with old homes in Manchester. These days, its so hard to know when service recommended by the experts (be it the mechanic, the chimney guy, the pellet stove guy, the insulation guy...) is really needed or is overkill that happens to be a huge profit center for the company. I felt like Robert was straight with me, giving me the information I need to make good choices. As a female, I often find service technicians make assumptions about what I want, understand, and can address on my own. Robert treated me as a competent homeowner, and I really appreciated that.

I must say I was quite impressed with AJ LeBlanc. We had four different companies come over to give us estimates for a furnace replacement. They were by far the most responsive (same day estimate), competitive (best price for the same system as two of the others) and with no pressure or up-sell. The guys who came out (Jackson & Mike) arrived right on time, left a clean workspace and walked me through the system when the job was done. Although I hope to not need an HVAC vendor for some time, when I do Ill absolutely use AJ LeBlanc.

He could have easily kicked the can down the road and asked the other technician to deal with it as he was done with overnight shift, but he didn’t as he cared to not leave a customer without heat. I have used LeBlanc for a few years to perform annual maintenance on my generator or resolve generator problems. I’ve also used them for plumbing work in the house. In all cases, I was very pleased. They were timely, kept me informed and the employees were very friendly, and knowledgeable. However, my recent experience with them has been less than gratifying. I had an issue recently (late February 2024) where my generator wouldn’t start. Leblanc came out, performed diagnostics and informed me the battery had to be replaced at a cost of $372. They replaced the battery and for the first 3 weeks, the generator worked find and it started up for 13 minutes each week. On the fourth week, the generator wouldn’t start again. I called Leblanc, they arrived, performed some diagnostics, and determined the generator circuitry was not charging the battery. As such, the battery was dead (again). Leblanc told me they had to contact Generac to get more insight into how to diagnose the problem then they would get back to me. It’s been 8 days since they came out and I’ve heard nothing from them. I’m beginning to think the battery was never dead. Instead, it was the circuitry issue that drained the battery originally. I now need to worry about resolving the circuitry issue (if they call me back) and hope the $372 battery wasn’t damaged due to the circuitry issue. I can only assume their process needs to be improved when they must call the manufacturer to help diagnose the problem. Beware!!May 2024 - I wanted to follow up on this review. As it turns out, LeBlanc did get back to me very quickly but my Comcast phone was not working and a message was left on the Comcast site versus my phone. Long story short, LeBlanc was able to quickly resolve my generator issue and I was uninformed that they were trying to get in touch with me due to my non-functioning Comcast phone service. As I mentioned above, my experience above was out of the ordinary since historically, LeBlanc has been very prompt and the service has always been excellent. LeBlanc was able to resolve the issue quickly and professionally. Thanks to Matt and Ryan for a fantastic job.

Recently, we contacted AJ LeBlanc for a quote to perform a major upgrade to our heating system in our 40-year-old house. Joe visited with us to get an idea of what we were looking for. Even though the scope of work was somewhat challenging, we felt confident they were the right company for the job. We received the quote via email in a timely manner, and we readily agreed to their price and the timeframe to complete the project. Susan put us on their work schedule and kept us posted regarding their arrival day and time.The employees assigned to our job were Ben and Sam. They scoped out the project on Friday and began working the following Monday. Every day for seven work days they answered a multitude of our questions and kept us informed of their progress. Each day, prior to leaving, their work areas were left clean and orderly. They installed a new state-of-the-art boiler, changed out the old baseboard heat with new Runtal panel radiators, and installed Ecobee thermostats in five zones. The job was completed, as scheduled, in seven full work days.In our opinion, everyone at AJ LeBlanc are top-notch professionals, reliable, and overly qualified to handle any project. Mike, Seamus and the electrician (I did not get his name) were the three technicians and they worked courteously, efficiently and diligently with minimal interruptions during their time here, the better part of the day. They did a great job! At the end, Mike gave a brief training on how to operate the system. Since then we have been enjoying the system immensely. I highly recommend A.J. Zac and Victor did an amazing plumbing repair on a very old soapstone laundry sink that was leaking at the base and at the faucet. Due to the age of the plumbing, Zac had to search area suppliers to get the best options to replace the piping and also had to move and replace the piping for the washer. He also replaced our outside spigot with a new frost-free unit. Zac was very professional and listened to what we were looking to have done. The work was completed within the estimated time frame and done with expert craftsmanship. They also cleaned up everything before they left. Also, the office was great to deal with and they even moved up the date from what was originally scheduled. Thank you Zac and A.J. LeBlanc!

As a new homeowner we are slowly working through the house checking boxes. Recently our furnace had begun leaking and we noticed the annual maintenance was long overdue.We were fortunate enough to find A.J. Leblanc Heating through a local social media group. David was the technician who came out and we couldnt have asked for a better experience. David was punctual, which when juggling working from home was appreciated. He thoroughly inspected this system I was not familiar with and took the time and was courteous enough to show me the components, the issue for why repair was needed, and explained the annual maintenance process/importance. Once at install at a townhouse complex when they should have known we needed to give 24 hour notice to residents because the main water line had to be shut off (they have done work here before) and the other with the permitting process - I have a life too and they apparently do not consider that which has been the most frustrating part of the process

Had an appointment today to repair some wiring issues. Robert came in and did an initial review of where the issue was happening. He explained what the issue was and what needed to be done to remedy it. Our experience with Casey and Zac fixing our sump pump today was excellent. We use LeBlanc for our HVAC, but never for plumbing before. We were on the schedule within 48 hours of calling, and they were on time - and were having them come out secondary to another plumbing company we had called. Turns out - the other company had proposed many things that were NOT necessary as confirmed by Casey and Zac. They were able to not only fix the problem same day - but saved us a ton of headache and money. They happily spent a lot of time explaining the hows and whys of the new system, and did not seem to be rushed. Very grateful to them and will be using them for all of our plumbing needs in the future.

I have lived in New England for almost 3 years and have had the absolute best experiences with LeBlanc Heating. In particular, the technician, Robert, has been to my house twice, and is absolutely amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional and was willing to let me watch and ask questions while he worked. He told me that he helped do the original install of the HVAC equipment when my house was built new and showed me some cool history written on the boards in my house. Often times its intimidating and stressful when you have to have technicians come to your house, but LeBlanc makes the process easy and professional. On 9-21, Asia Young performed a furnace maintenance / cleaning. The service experience was beyond my expectations. I asked that we be notified 30 minutes prior to arrival and I received a call from the LeBlanc office letting me know shed be arriving within 30 minutes. We each arrived at almost the same time.The maintenance provided was excellent. Asia explained everything she was doing. What and why certain filters were changed. She thoroughly cleaned the inside and outside of the furnace. It looked almost new when done. She swept and vacuumed the area around the outside of the furnace. Her work was immaculate.We recently switched to LeBlanc after our previous company closed for retirement and I have been extremely please with the thoroughness, knowledge and professionalism weve received each time.

They were the best quote when we switched over from oil heat to gas heat and have been forward thinking to retro fit us for central AC (which we will also do through them). They also have a 24 hour emergency service line which we already used to replace a leaking AC pump.They installed our new furnace, added a bypass, and set us up for dual zone control in our home. Called LeBlanc and explained that our furnace was not turning on reliably - and that I suspected an issue with the thermostat. The next day Robert arrived to inspect both furnace and thermostat. Robert arrived on time, and did a thorough inspection of both furnace and thermostat. Robert confirmed that the furnace was operating correctly (no failure codes reported) - but that there were some early wear issues he was concerned about. He then took a look at the thermostat - and given the age, made recommendations of replacement options. While he was at our house, he also took the time to look at our humidifier - and 4th BR furnace. In all cases, Robert was extremely professional and courteous - and clearly very knowledgeable of these products. I have been a customer of LeBlanc for the past 15 years --- and it is because of the professionalism of people like Robert that I will continue to be a customer going forward.

LeBlanc is excellent. They did a major HVAC renovation at my last home and always perform excellent maintenance. Todays service was no exception. My whole house humidifier in my new home was leaking badly and while everything seemed to be operating it needed the expert eyes and experience of Robert to spot that a flow control fixture was missing on the humidifier solenoid. A quick and easy fix for a pro. But he also provided advice and guidance on how to best use the humidifier and the system on a system that they didnt even install. I like to work with vendors I can trust and LeBlanc is just that.

I just had ductless air conditioning done in my home. The workers were polite and considerate, worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. They answered all my questions, and finished in less time than was expected. The cost was a bit higher than other estimates, but they appeared to want to be sure I knew exactly what was involved (some challenges to installation) and what I would need. There is a 12 year warranty which is more than any others offered by far. The electrician was on their staff, not a contractor, which I liked as well. I have only had the system on for 24 hours now, but it is quiet, comfortable and easy to use. A neighbor recommended LeBlanc and I would too.

Our furnace was nearing the end of its life, produced excessive heat, and sounded like a jet engine. LeBlanc came in at around the same price as the other estimates, so we chose LeBlanc because weve had good experiences with them in the past. Two guys named Chris showed up to on time to install the furnace, and they were polite and professional. They put down tarps to protect our carpet, and got the job done in two days like we were told. We are really happy with the furnace they installed. Its far quieter and runs far cooler than our old furnace.

Superb service from a dedicated and competent staff. Returned home from a short vacation during a heat wave to find that my split system ac was not working. Robert responded on the same day as my service request. He diagnosed and explained the problem in easily understood language. Robert indicated that the evaporator coils on this particular unit had been known to develop refrigerant leaks and he thought that he could get them replaced under warranty. Two days later, I was notified by Robert that the entire wall unit, four in total, would be replaced on the following day. Four days from the placement of my call, Brian and Chris arrived to replace the four evaporator units. They quickly and efficiently replaced the four units and recharged the system in approximately 3 hours. Outstanding service by a friendly and knowledgeable staff including Mary in the office who handled my calls. I highly recommend them for your air conditioning needs.

Like many of the older homes in the Manchester area we have a combination of cast iron, galvanized, copper, and PVC drainage pipes. And although the copper and PVC dont present too many issues, the cast iron and galvanized are awful. So it wasnt surprising when our cast iron flange broke during a simple wax ring repair. I was able temporarily reinstall the ring and the flange, but with the unit being a rental I didnt want to leave the toilet as is and have a future tenant break it again. So I did some research, and found LeBlanc. From the beginning I found them to be professional, courteous, and helpful. The person who answered the phone scheduled someone in no time. I was also happy to learn there was no service call, just a flat hourly rate of about $130. A few days later we met Larry, our plumber. Larry was friendly, courteous, thorough and neat. He properly repaired the flange in no time, and when he was done it was like there was never a plumber there. During the same appointment he inspected a sink drain for us, but had to leave for another job before he could complete that repair. We expected as much, and since there was no service call we didnt mind a second visit. Larry returned punctually the following day as stated, and in no time diagnosed our problem, piping that was so rusted and corroded that it was causing a major clog. Once again he made quick work of the issue, and we were on the way. He was just as friendly and professional as the first time. And both jobs were reasonable priced. Its important to have plumbers that can quickly resolve issues so tenants arent inconvenienced for too long, and LeBlanc and Larry do just that. Im glad to have found them and plan to use LeBlanc again in the future.

After moving into a new home, I had them install a replacement furnace (best price after several quotes) which went very well.Later I had them replace an air handler and 2 compressors (also beating competitors price)While traveling with the family, I received an alert for a water leak in the basement. I texted Brian and he came over right away at 6am to check it out! It was an incredible relief for them to check it out while we were away. It turned out to be a false alarm.I also had heat issues that they investigated in the freezing attic that turned out to be the fault of the former owner and they just took care of it no charge.Later in the year, I had them install 2 mini splits. Throughout all of these projects, there were typical issues (not their fault) that they handled nicely.They always came in on time and budget (even though they went way above and beyond) and the work has been fantastic. After having some great service with some plumbing issues I decided to call A.J LeBlanc again to come out and take a look at it for me. The office was not sure that they would make it out that day but they did! After a quick explanation of the problem, the techs immediately thought to check the air filter. After removing the filthy air filter, voila! the heat worked properly! They tested a few more things just to make sure everything was working properly and there was no upselling or pressuring to do anything additional which I really appreciate. After chatting with the techs about next steps if the heat didnt sustain the proper levels over the weekend as they thought it would, we found out that not only did we have the G.M as one of out techs, but also the 4th Gen owner! I was introduced to AJ LeBlanc when I was shopping for small parts for my steam heat system at JA Marino plumbing and heating supply. The sales person/tech at JA Marino recommended AJ LeBlanc. This turns out to be a great recommendation.I had two experiences with LeBlanc: an emergency repair to our steam heating system and installation of a mini split A/C system. First, my heating system would not turn on. Called LeBlanc on a Sunday afternoon, spoke to answering service and 10 minute later, an experienced supervisor called me back to talk me through a process of checking systems so that I could avoid an emergency call. No luck but, the tech, Robert, arrived in less than 30 minutes, went through the diagnostics and replaced a thermocouple. Heat restored ! The entire customer experience was wonderful.Based on my experience with the heating system, I contacted LeBlanc about installing a mini split A/C system in my two family home built in 1900. Long story short, their sales person/estimator, Rich, came to our home, patiently listened to our needs, measured and assessed our home, explained all the details, was extremely professional, congenial and respectful. He promptly replied with a very clear and easy to understand proposal for 4 A/C options, financing and rebate programs.Finance was a breeze (having good credit helps), and installation took 2 days. The techs, David J. and Kaleb J. did a phenomenal job ! They explained the process, worked non stop, and were exceptionally professional and courteous. They were a pleasure to have in our home. We invited them to have lunch with us each day and they felt like family. In the end, everything was perfect. All electrical and A/C lines were neatly installed, openings properly sealed/caulked, each unit and remote control tested. I cant wait for 90F days !!Im new to the New England area. These people are respectful, trustworthy and highly competent. I intend to engage them on all my heating, A/C, and plumbing work on all my properties in NH.

The poor guys even volunteered to squeeze into the crawlspace to lay the lines so we wouldnt have piping running all over the outside of our house, which just emphasizes the great customer service! The office folks (Susan and Samantha) were friendly and professional too.We had a bit of a snag where the wi-fi add-ons we purchased are back ordered for an unknown period of time (like a lot of electronics and such are because of the pandemic) but we didnt find that out until the day of the install. There was a bit of back and forth phone calls with the office, and we ended up just canceling the add-on wi-fi for now so we could finalize everything.Overall, very happy with the purchase, the service, and (of course) the units themselves. We called for service after finding that our water heater had leaked in the basement. Leblanc responded within the hour of our call with an assessment, and proposal to replace the equipment. Everyone was very sympathetic to our predicament and expedited the repairs. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!

Great company, great employees, great service! I recently had AJ LeBlanc repair a mini split AC (replace the evaporator coil) and they also repaired a central AC (also replaced the evaporator coil). They did a great job. From the initial diagnosis by a technician named Dennis, to the actual repair work done by Chris and Robert, AJ LeBlanc was a pleasure to deal with.They did a careful diagnosis (and showed me where the leaks were in our ACs) and did a great job repairing the defective components. Note that they did not install these ACs, but Im glad I was referred to them to fix our units. I will continue to use AJ LeBlancs for seasonal maintenance and repairs.

Whenever I have issues with my heat I call LeBlanc. They are easy to reach during on and off hours. The technicians are very professional and willing to explain the issue and how they are debugging.On my last call Robert came over. He didnt mind me looking over shoulder and even let me know what he was checking.My heat is working again thanks to Robert from LeBlanc

Have to say I am pretty disappointed. I bought a brand new furnace and central AC unit around March. Installation and furnace went great, techs were good, no complaints. My disappointment comes with the AC unit. 1st time I go to use it when the upstairs is over 80 degrees and it wont turn on.. kicker is the techs never tested it because it was too cold. Hopefully the techs they send out will fix it. But for a brand new expensive unit, I expect it to run the 1st time with no issues.5 stars for techs and furnace, but ac not working kills it.* Edit, upping to 5 stars as they sent a tech out on the weekend to get it fixed and then came out again on Monday to double check that everything was working. I appreciated the fast response times and dedication to getting it right. Would recommend.

We lost our heat in the middle of the night, and called AJ LeBlanc first thing in the morning. Robert Bouchard arrived within a couple hours, and quickly identified the issue. Robert walked me through the problem, and explained the process as he made the repair. Robert was very professional and provided excellent customer service. We have been using AJ LeBlanc for years, and they have not let us down.

I don’t typically write reviews, but excellent customer service should never go unnoticed.After a conversation with the service manager, Robert, I learned that my Lenox furnace had a limited lifetime warranty. Robert then looked into it further and was able to get me a new heat exchanger for my furnace at no charge.The very next week Robert had the part and personally visited my house during the install to ensure that the job was done correctly.I highly recommend A.J. Leblancs crew of Clay, Chris, and Stuart did an awesome job of installing my second Daikin minisplit. They made it look perfect, they left the workspace spotless, not even one little shred of construction waste to be found. They were polite, and if there were any doubts they would ask before doing the work. When the job was complete they showed us everything that they did and asked if we approved. Our street just got natural gas and Liberty Utilities recommended LeBlanc Plumbing and Heating to use for our gas conversion. They did an excellent job with the new gas piping in our house (we used to have oil). Their prices were fair and the staff seemed genuine. We will certainly use them again in the future.

AJ Leblanc wasn’t my first call but I wish it had been. Our water heater let go and needed to be replaced. I called AJ Leblanc they came right out gave me a quote for $1,900. They said they could come the next morning to install the new one. They were on time and very efficient. The two men that came were great!! I will use them again. My fist call to find someone to replace our water heater was Heritage and that was my big mistake. Heritage quoted us $3,200 to do the same work. We needed it done ASAP because we didn’t have hot water so we agreed. They got there the next day but after the guy was at our house for a little bit he said that the guy that gave us the quote didn’t include everything and he had to requote it. The new quote was $3,800. I said no thank you and asked them to leave that’s when I called AJ Leblanc. That was the best decision I made that week. Heritage also charged us an $89.00 fee just to come out and look to give us a quote to replace the water heater. AJ Leblanc didn’t charge us anything to come and give us a quote. Don’t over pay just call AI Leblanc!

He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and let me know how to keep it from continuing to leak until I was able to get a replacement faucet for them to install on Monday. From our initial meeting with Jim for the estimate to this final step of offering to take care of the rebate, we could not be happier.
