So far so good!! Good value, responsive , on time and Jack my service repairman was very professional and educated me on how to better maintain the life of my hot water tank and most of all how I can get my service fee back from Rheem!! I was very pleased with how quickly the company responded, especially since it was 2 days before New Years Eve. They handled my outside broken pipe extremely well and quickly, along with pricing. I also appreciated their well-mannered approach.

Its a long review, but I wanted people to see in detail my good experience with this company.My water heater stopped producing hot water. Tried to reset the pilot light, called 800 number on the water heater (which was Rheem) and they tried to trouble shoot it. They diagnosed it as two possible causes and would replace the parts but not the labor. I consider myself a fairly good DIYer by watching YouTube, and the work seemed pretty easy, but I thought this work was best to be done by a pro. Rheem directed me to their authorized technicians list (found on their website) and I called about 5 on the list and a few other plumbers I found on Yelp and Google.JR Plumbing and Backflow was on the Rheem Water Heater recommended technicians list and Im so glad I found them! With plumbing, pricing variances are so vast to do the same work, but JR Plumbing was most reasonable for the work that needed to be done.Communication from the company was professional, prompt, and accommodating. John, the owner and tech, arrived on time and what impressed me was his knowledge and how respectful he was of my home and the work area. It was the small things like taking shoes off in the house without me having to ask, carrying his shoes to the basement and then putting them back on, promptly cleaning up the area, and walking me through the issues. The part Rheem sent was defective, but he said he would call them and have them overnight the new part to my home and hed come back out. He took care of everything. All I had to do was call them once I got the part, which I did the following day. Upon receipt, he came out, installed it, and weve got hot water.I now have JR Plumbing in my contact list should I need any future needs. This is an A+ company!

These guys are great. I had Roto-Rooter do some work before, and I think I got ripped off. But NOT J.R. Plumbing! Their prices for a water heater install were totally reasonable, along with doing the work to install another hose spigot on the outside of our house.Im an engineer, and I really appreciated the fact that J.R. knew what he was talking about. They are a Rheem dealer and know all about the fancy new high efficiency heat-pump water heaters. If you want a real *upgrade* to your water heater then you need to call someone like J.R. that has dealt with this stuff before.I totally recommend them and now I can say that I have a plumber that I can call whenever I need them! Thanks!

J.R. Plumbing came to diagnose the horrible plumbing job that was done under our kitchen sink and immediately recognized what needed to be done. He got approval from our management company and came back quickly to get it repaired. He did a great job and no more water leaks! I’d definitely recommend him to anyone who wants the job done correctly the first time.
