    We have used Blue Planet for a couple of different projects and could not be happier. We’ve worked with them to re-pipe our entire house as well as replace/rebuild our sump pump system. From the admin staff over the phone to the techs completing the job, everyone at Blue Planet is friendly, professional and great to work with. We called for an estimate appointment on this last job and Georg came to our house quickly to give us a fair and detailed estimate that was easy to understand. The techs were on-time, extremely kind and patient, were happy to explain the work they were going to do and showed me exactly what they had done afterward.     The technicians that came to evaluate our hybrid water heater were helpful and efficient. After the first evaluation, parts were ordered and Pablo was able to get it working well enough for us to have hot water. On the second visit Logan completed all the necessary repairs. When we had a question after business hours, the service relayed our question and we received a call back to follow up. I was very happy with staff, repairs and explanations.

    They installed a whole house purifier for us and we would not use anyone else. When we had an issue probably due to the manufacturer, they replaced everything with no questions. All of their technicians are very skilled. They show up when they say and let you know who the tech is. They answered all of our questions during the water outage with storm Helene. Our system removes chlorine and other elements and has made a marked difference in our home water quality. Highly recommend for all plumbing needs.

    Patrick installed a UV light water treatment system so we could start using our water again after 38 days without clean water! He was not only skilled, knowledgable and able to answer all my questions about the new filtration and water treatment system but also demonstrated an exemplary professional, courteous and respectful attitude. Importantly, The fact Patrick had installed the same system in his own home was a big selling point. Lastly, Patrick meticulously cleaned up his work space after the installation.     I called Blue Planet for a problem with an indirect water heater. Mike came out on rather short notice and understood what needed to be done. Unfortunately, Blue Planet wasnt able to do the work because indirect water heaters are apparently considered part of the HVAC system. Mike was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and I was sorry that I couldnt hire him.

    We are very happy with the work that Blue Planet performed on our 1960s home renovation. The work ended up being very complicated because of the age of the home, but also because we were adding a bathroom in a former garage and drastically renovating the two others. We basically have all new plumbing in our retro home now! Other plumbers tried to tackle the job, but gave up or did things incorrectly. Only Blue Planet was able to actually get the job done, all while clearly talking us through the choices and options that inevitably come up in a big job like this. We are very thankful to have found them and that we wont have to worry about plumbing as long as we are in this home. I highly recommend them for jobs big and small.     Our high tech, beast of a water heater went on the fritz and it was Georg and his crew to the rescue. They figured out the problem, handled the warranty with the manufacturer and got a new one on its way to us.And, during this hurricane, I started panicking as we have electricity but no water and a pipe on the heater was hissing and dripping like something was gonna burst from pressure. They immediately took my call, calmed my nerves, and walked me through step by step what to do to keep the heater safe and prepare it for when we get water back. So grateful for Georg and his team!     I recently had an experience with Blue Planet Plumbing in Asheville, NC, and while the technician’s work ethic, knowledge, and professionalism were top-notch, there were a few areas of concern. The technician even wore little booties inside the home, which was a nice touch. However, the quote to replace a cartridge for my shower faucet was over $600, while a cartridge typically costs around $50.The technician was incredible, and I understand that the prices are flat rates that he cant change. After receiving the quote, I called my technician to schedule the job. The technician advised me to call the office, which seemed simple enough. However, when I called the scheduling line, the young lady who answered said to speak with my technician. She also said she couldnt schedule appointments and had me leave a message. I never received a callback.I ended up using another company that came out the next day and handled all my needed repairs at a fair price. They provided extreme transparency and no subtle sales pressure. While Blue Planet Plumbings technician was fantastic, the pricing and scheduling issues led me to seek services elsewhere.

    I am the 3rd owner to use Blue Planet in our condo complex. I called because the 2 other unit owners were so happy with BPs work.My experience was also excellent. I called to have 3 or 4 minor thinks replaced or repaired. During his inspection of my crawl space the BP tech found that my hot water tank was 22 years old, there was a leak from the hose bib, my pressure blatter on the tank had failed and 1 copper fitting was badly corroded.My technician and his helper were very courteous and professions during the estimate meeting and during the install and repair work. Without help from BP I would certainly have experienced major plumbing failures at a much higher rate for an emergency repair job at some inconvenient time. I will definitely use them again.

Patrick came by last week to acknowledge a drainage issue and quoted me for replacing a pipeline that would cost 4k.     When I called Blue Planet several months ago because of my well filtration system always needing to be cleaned, it was Pablo who came out and looked at my system and gave me great suggestions and installation service of a sediment tank. I’ve had great clean water and water pressure since.I recently noticed some water in the basement, thinking it might be related to the installation I called Blue Planet and Pablo was out within hours and tested everything.     I was looking to cut costs on my water heating bill, and had Blue Planet come out for an estimate on installing a hybrid style unit. They provided a fair price and were able to get the work scheduled in a timely manner, and they are a Duke Energy qualified contractor!They showed up on time and were very professional in their work. Technicians (Sam & Cameron) took the time to explain how everything works on the new unit, and even hauled off the old water heater. A couple of days later, a minor issue popped up unexpectedly and they immediately came out to fix it. Turned out it was just a hose coupling that needed re-crimping.Im impressed with their honesty & professionalism, and how they took ownership of it without making excuses.     Arion was such an amazing and expert plumber. He reviewed all the systems in my new house which was built in 1936 and made suggestions to repair/improve.     My tankless electric water heater was not heating properly and Blue Planet suggested over $1000 in labor plus new parts and/or a new unit (over $800). I thought Id investigate myself and found out that the problem wasnt even the water heater, it was a non-working showers mixing value turned on, which was feeding excess cold water into the system. Replacing the hot water heater wouldnt even have solved the problem--I just needed to turn off the non-working shower value to off. Fortunately I got excellent service support of Stiebel Eltron to resolve the issue for free!After hearing about this, however, Blue Planets owner contacted and offered to reimburse me, and also offered to come out for free to inspect the shower value to ensure that its functioning properly. Thank you Blue Planet.Everyone screws up sometimes but only quality businesses (and individuals) are so engaged to know how to acknowledge missteps and then to demonstrate that they care.

    Im very happy with Blue Planet Plumbing and the work Georg did on our kitchen sink pipes. The previous owner of our house had done some funky stuff under there that was prone to leaking and gurgling, and was using parts that arent up to code. Georg took one look at it and without asking me much about it was able to identify all the issues, including a lack of venting that our inspector hadnt caught. He made me a write-up/cost estimate that was a flat rate, rather than an hourly cost, which reduces surprises. They also guaranteed the work for three years, which is valuable to me. Georg completely replaced the pipes in about an hour and was very professional and personable in the process. I highly recommend working with Blue Planet if its in your budget. That is to say, its likely you can find someone else who will charge less than they do, and they may do a fine job. But they also might set up your sink like whoever plumbed our kitchen the first time. Besides quality work, these folks were excellent at communicating, getting to the job in a reasonable period, arriving on time, and documenting the work. Very professional and I highly recommend.

It is simply not possible to get to talk to a human in the office. Customers connect to a call center which may or may not relay the correct message in a timely manner to the office. During this last plumbing need, the office never did call me back. I had issues around timing and attending my grandsons graduation that the call center was not prepared to answer....and its not their job! I understand the company may be very busy and this model of customer service might be due to that. But I dare say that being busy may not necessarily be a concern if they dont improve this. I, for one, used to recommend them to anyone who asked if I knew a good plumber. I cant do that anymore with a good conscience. Hope they find a better way to provide good service.

    We hired Blue Planet to open up our wall and adjust the placement of a particularly tricky shower fixture. We had questions during the process which were addressed by the owner of the company himself.     I hired Blue Planet for a drain cleanout job and actually had a negative experience. The owner got word of this and actually reached out to me personally to rectify the situation.
