These guys are pros. They scheduled a visit (next day! after my call) and Chance arrived on time, displayed strong domain knowledge on solar power, explained what was going on, called vendors looking for warranty coverage, etc. Then Vincent swung by and they looked at my solar arrays and explained options that would get my system back on line sooner and more efficiently. I am very impressed with this outfit compared to my experience with other outfits. 100% recommended. FOLLOW-UP: Chance, Shone, Vinny, and Louese arrived and did 90% of the install in one day. When they left, my solar arrays were producing power. They’ll return in a day or two to finish the ground rods for safety. Still five stars! FINAL (9/13/24): They arrived early in the morning and had the job 100% within 2.5 hours. Cables look nice and tidy, ground rods are installed, Solar arrays are producing power. Recommended.

100 degree weather is the worst time for your A/C to go out - Number One to the rescue! My appointment was booked with urgency and the best tech was dispatched.Cory M. is a master of his craft, very professional, and definitely the person you want working on your refrigerated air unit. He was able to run validating tests and verified the issue. He was even familiar with the unique mechanics and components of the unit to prevent long term issues that hes seen during his decades of experience. Cory and Ethan came out on Monday to start up moms subfloor furnace. They determined it was so old and lacking safety features that replacement was the better option (we were not surprised, it was original to the house, mid 20th century). They were back by Thursday of the same week and had the new unit installed in a day. Very professional, very polite, explained the why and what and got it done. Weve had good experiences with Number One and their employees in the past and this continues that run.

Julian was very friendly and knowledgeable. He came out on a Saturday evening to fix a job left incomplete by another company. I couldn’t even have water to my house at all because the other technician left a hole in a pipe that he could not fix! (All because he was trying to replace a toilet shutoff!) Julian was a lifesaver, so even though a disaster was created by someone else, he took his time to make sure that all was done well.

Nathan G and Ethan came out for a problem/screeching with my AC unit. Of course, when they arrived, the unit made no noise (although, I had recorded it). In spite of that, Nate and Ethan did their due diligence in performing an inspection and maintenance of the unit and reassured me they would stick around for a while to see if they could hear the noise. Nate also described their call back policy as well, assuming they found nothing. During their inspection, they found that the capacitor was/going bad. Nate was clear and concise about what was wrong with the capacitor and why it needed replacing and even showed me the meter readings. He also gave me a quote for replacement and the consequences that might occur if I did not replace it. These 2 young men were professional, extremely courteous, well-groomed and kept me apprised. I also had the opportunity to hear Nate teaching/training Ethan while they were on this job. Nate was patient and informative with Ethan. The service charge and parts charge were very reasonable and what Nate quoted. In addition, I like that the company sent a picture of Nate and the tech tracking app gave me their exact arrival time.

Update: Ive now used them for electrical and HVAC maintenance and both teams that came out were EXCELLENT!! On time, professional, considerate, conscientious and excellent service. They left our garage cleaner than it was when they started the work. All drywall dust was vacuumed and they even replaced the drywall they had to cut out for the job. Exceeded my expectations again!Our expansion tank developed a pinhole leak which sprayed water onto and made a hole in our drywall, which hit the 2x4 behind it and guided the water up behind the ceiling drywall.I turned off the water to the house and called a few plumbers the next day. Number One Plumbing responded right away and I scheduled someone to come out the next day. I sent the picture of our expansion tank and he said the plumbers would come out with the correct tank to replace ours with.The plumbers, Scott and Scottie (no relation) came out on time and I received a text about 30 min before their arrival, just as I asked. They were courteous and professional. They took one look at our tank and said they didnt have the correct size. What they had was about half the size of what I needed. There was no mention of getting any picture from the scheduler. They ended up driving back to their supplier and came back with the correct size. This took about 50 min. Once they had the correct tank, the replacement was quick.They turned the water back on and made sure there were no leaks before leaving.Overall, the plumbers were excellent, made me feel at ease (I was home alone and live in a rural area) and were efficient. The only reason I gave them four stars instead of five is that the scheduler did not forward the picture of our tank to them so they could have brought the correct sized tank. I would definitely use them again, but will double check that whatever the scheduler says is actually done.

( They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and my staff cut corners that were possible, to help me be as cost effective as he could, but still do the job right (!)). Nate G Was Awesome! He came out and serviced my A/C unit on the hottest day of the year so far. Before starting it up this year, I had wanted to have it checked out, as it hadnt been looked at since before covid. Nate came out, cleaned it all, checked everything, and it worked perfectly. Id also had some occasional loud rattling noises last year that I brought his attention, and it did it when he was there. Turned out it was an easy fix, simple resonance in the housing / cover and just tightening a few screws minimized all the sound. He was fast, thorough, professional, and a real pleasure to work with. I would absolutely hire him and Number One again, and plan to make an appointment in the Fall to have my furnace checked out as well. God sent me to #1 Plumbing, A/C, solar & electric. After I paid another independent plumber $300 to diagnose my problem, I was skeptical. I had an issue with my solar (which is an older system from 2014) and he didn’t seem to know anything about it and told me I needed a new inverter. When Chance and Shane arrived, right away, I knew they had so much more knowledge about my solar system than anyone else. In addition to being knowledgeable they were friendly. They were able to contact the manufacturer of my inverter and learned that there was no malfunction with that Equipment. Also they told me that the inverter was under warranty had I needed a new one where the former Electrician was going to have me buy a new one. They informed me that it was simply a breaker and saved me $6000. I am so grateful that I contacted #1 solar. As a woman, sometimes you just have to go with your gut. My gut was right; and a little divine intervention. Thank you Chance and Shane! I will never contact another Plumber or Electrician again.

He quickly got to work on our broken AC unit and talked us through his process as he got to the root of the problem. He replaced the bad part and cleaned up our whole AC unit so it would survive the harsh NM summer heat. Would recommend Number One every day of the week.

I called close to 5pm on Monday and was given a window between 10am and 1pm for the very next day. I received a calk before 10am to say the electrician would be at my home at 11am. Chance arrived a few minutes before. The first issue was simple, a reset switch that just needed to be reset and then a flourecent lamp that stopped working. He xhecked and it was the ballast that needed replacing. He left to get one and came back and finished the job. He was quiet and respectful and showed me where to reset the switch in case it happened again. Total cost was $268.21 for parts and labor and tax.

They gave us a reasonable quote and I asked if they could work us in today, which they did. All the conduit and fittings were installed clean and tight, like artwork. Occasionally, you get a technician who shows up on time, is courteous and most importantly, is highly skilled, Cory was and is that professional! #1 lPlumbing was the third company I had look at my two new Samsung mini splits that were not working properly. Immediately, Cory, a Samsung and LG trained expert pinpointed the problem. He got them up and running properly. He also said that there was a manufacturer defect and promised to file the paperwork with the OEM to get that issue resolved. NOW, that is going above and beyond! We also have plumbing issues and will use #1 Plumbing for all our electrical and plumbing needs...if they are all as professional and have the same level of expertise as Cory.P.S. His work was very neat, and cleanup was good.He arrived on schedule and let me know when he needed to be delayed.(Review from several months ago)(September/ October 2022 )Cory removed the old HVAC ducts, installed the new unit, including three plus the remaining two zone units, custom made outdoor trim to cover wires and coils, etc., etc., and even re-hung a framed rug and other pieces that had to be moved in the process.He was at my house off and on over a three or four-week period. He was usually assisted by someone — Nate, Ivan, and others — but often was on his own. I know there was more than one day when he only broke for a very brief lunch.Cory was always courteous, prompt, informative, and showed great care in making sure I was happy with the results. Rather than trying to tell me I need to replace then entire unit like other companies might, they worked with what I had and were able to fix the problem. 100% recommended.

He listened to my description of the issue with my solar monitoring connectivity, diagnosed the issue, and provided his recommendation for hardwiring the connection. He also evaluated the status of my backup generator installation, and what it will take to complete the install and test the equipment. The following day he was able to return and make the adjustment for the solar panel monitoring. I then received a quote for the generator install completion. Thank God for service providers like #1 plumbing. 3 years ago my property owners, who we love, had new electric heating and cooling systems installed in our house and for 3 years every season change we have had problems that never stopped. The guy that theyd send out always treated us like my husband and myself had caused the issues. This year the owners approved us to call and set up service through #1PLUMBING and the genius, his name is Adam, came out to fix our units and was awesome, he explained everything to us, was respectful and him and his whole team that were in our home even made friends with our old dogs who dont like strange people on the roof making noise and coming in and out but the whole experience was far superior to any other service that weve had used since the units were installed before the pandemic. Cory, was prompt and came at the beginning of the service window which was great. Cory, expertly switched my system over to AC for the seasonal maintenance. He also diagnosed a line leak on my water softener, fixed it, drained it, filled it with salt and recharged the unit! Cory was also very informative about the softener and my heating and cooling system which was greatly appreciated. Cory’s service was outstanding and he’s a nice guy as well. The maintenance package I purchased last year has been worth every penny and I intend to purchase another for the coming year. The cost has risen because of inflation but is still a great value. The seasonal change over was included in the maintenance package but Cory didn’t charge me for getting my softener up and running! I can’t really say enough about Ivan and this company. I have been through a nightmare of multiple companies coming out to 34 times each replacing the board on my furnace the gas valve on my furnace etc. etc. Both other companies tried to sell me an entire new furnace for $3000 and more. I cant give Number One Plumbing enough praise for their professionalism, flexibility, and willingness to go the extra mile to get a job done properly, and there are a number of employees to acknowledge over an variety of various projects they have completed for me. I hired Number One Plumbing to make corrections to a new tankless water heater installation that a previous contractor had fouled up so terribly that it would not pass the required city inspection. My first interaction was with Richard, who was able to quickly schedule a meeting with a technician to come out and look at the work required. I was impressed that the owner himself, David, came out to not only look over the water tank corrections, but also looked over the entire plumbing system of the 60 yr old house I had recently purchased. David was courteous and thorough, and provided a prompt, reasonable estimate to make the necessary corrections. A short time later, Arnold and his apprentice completed a clean and professional job on the water heater, ensuring it passed inspection--which it did with zero problems. Because of a great experience with Number One, I hired them for a few more jobs around the house--performing a seasonal inspection on the HVAC system, which was completed by Ivan, and insulating some exposed plumbing lines in my crawl space, performed by Don. Both technicians were professional, prompt, and courteous, and deserve kudos for having to work in the confines of a crawl space. I had been interested in adding solar panels in a desire to start moving towards a more eco-friendly utility regime, and I was put in touch with Vinny--their solar program rep. Vinnys no-nonsense approach was great in explaining the ins and outs of the process, the benefits and risks, and tax deductions to be taken advantage of for a new solar system install, and I decided to sign on through Number One for the solar installation. Vinny has been great through the whole process, keeping me informed of the status, and also working various financing options and last minute changes when it was discovered the roof was in need of replacement prior to installing the panels. I was put in touch with Russell Hawkes of Design Co Construction, and within a week I had a new metal roof installed, giving immeasurable peace of mind before starting a big solar project. The solar install tech, Chance, and his team did a super job on the installation. I need to also mention how helpful Kyle was during the various projects Number One completed, offering insight, and personally seeing that each job was done to satisfaction. He and Kursten even spent precious evening hours to install a safety switch on the water heater which was needed to protect the laundry room from flooding in an unfortunate event of a leak. Both gentlemen get top marks for their courtesy and patience working in less than ideal conditions to get the job done right, and it shows an exemplary commitment to upholding the strong reputation Number One Plumbing, A/C, Solar & Electric has earned. My personal thanks goes out Richard, David, Arnold, Vinny, Chase, Ivan, Don, Kyle, and Kursten and their teams, apprentices, and helpers that have transformed my home in ways that allow me to rest easy at night. Incredible quality service, a real great example of” you get you get what you pay for,”.Just quality men, of many I have met, all dedicated to their craft or learning the craft if they are trainee/ apprentice phase.You may pay a flat rate for them coming out, perhaps not if you communicate with them and your situation is different otherwise it’s in the $150 mark area, like I reiterate, you are getting what you pay for, you’re getting actual bona fide experts, laying their eyes on your problem and you’re getting a guarantee of services as far as they can handle ( which in the time they have grown, has become they are now nearly expert in all manners of construction, residential, and otherwise ) and in writing, in most cases, and you are left feeling as though all issues have been addressed, as long as you have brought them up and most importantly that first visit you will finally have some answers .I was so impressed with their service. I actually told my husband to go down and apply with them, we want him to work for our company where he was appreciated, and that supplied a quality service he could be proud of until we start our own business. He works for this company and I couldn’t be prouder of him as their work speaks for itself. Not too long ago they did the bathroom and my mother‘s own home and with care, not breaking out all the tiles, but actually saving them so we could put them back in.I genuinely recommend this business. If you know nothing about the problem that you’re facing, if you have a specialty that is not near construction., then pay save what you need to pay this company to come out and give you an honest answer because that’s what they can do. Not very many companies can say that anymore. These guys will give you the honest truth about what’s going on even if that initial visit is a little pricey for people low on the poverty line, it’s actually worth saving for so you get the truth. Not “Joe’s” version of it.

The person who came to fix our swamp cooler did a great job. The swamp cooler seemed to be blowing hot air, not cooling. And if it was set to “high cool”, it would work about 10 minutes then shut off. J.A. fixed it by assessing the situation - the cooler system was stressed and overheating. Fixed it and now we can survive this heat wave!

Professional on time got an estimate from a heating and a/c business quoted me around $7000 to replace a/c so I got a second estimate from #1 I didn’t need a new A/C a piece of insulation was blocking the airflow they reinstalled it and my a/c works perfect again they were very honest and save me from being ripped off.
