From top to bottom, our experience with Solar Works has been fantastic. We were referred by a friend and had a very straightforward, low-pressure meeting with our sales rep. Wed done research ahead of time and already had our plan in place in terms of leveraging the tax rebate and everything, so it was really encouraging to not feel like there were any games being played with financing and how our tax rebate could be used. He explained the options and helped us understand how the rebate works since we chose to take the rebate ourselves, and explained that the other option was to apply it to the loan.The loan process was incredibly fast, and while we were prepared to go through our own equity to do it, it turned out we got a better rate through Solar Works in-house financing. Top notch. Were paying less for our solar than our power bill, and taking the rebate to update our air system.The project management phase has been very helpful and transparent, giving us regular updates and letting us know what to expect every step of the way. They are extremely responsive and thorough. The power company can be very arcane with their processes, so it was super reassuring to have someone go to bat for us and help us understand what all the sometimes inscrutable processes are to get where we needed to go.As far as the install goes, Diego and the team did an outstanding job. They were very communicative, professional, and thorough. He spotted an issue with our existing panel and was able to modify it to meet the needs of the install.Diego even followed up with me just to make sure all of our circuits were functioning properly before leaving. It has been a great experience with this team, and this part of the install has been top notch. Really thankful for such a professional team taking care of our home.We are at the home stretch now, just awaiting inspection, which should be straightforward, but Diego assured me that if there were any hiccups in this process, hed be back to remedy them. The panel install team also gave me the same reassurances on their workmanship and explained things like paint-matching the conduit if we wanted to (the install is so clean that I frankly dont mind the color of the routes).Overall this has been a fantastic experience in every possible way!

We had to have our panels removed for a roofing project. Every employee was very helpful and all the crews who came out to remove and then replace the panels where so respectful, honest, hardworking, and helpful. The ones that removed the panels were different from the ones that reattached the panels. Both crews worked very hard and actually showed up when they said they would--both days. We also bought our panels from them 7 years ago. They are still around!!!!

Great experience and amazing outcome! Every step from the initial contact through survey, design, quote and installation was professional, pleasant and accurate. While we had some issues with the City, Solar Works was with me every step of the way working through to a really superb result. My electric bill is now nearly non-existent and the level 2 charging works perfectly. Their follow-up and assistance with respect to the tax rebates was amazing and very unexpected. When the state ran out of money they said they would be in touch when it was available and three years later I get a how-to email that made filing incredibly easy. Could not be more pleased!

Have had the panels producing energy for a month thus far, I have been pleased with the entire project from start to finish. I have had minor issues but the operations team and installers have provided exceptional support. Amberly has been easy to reach and communicate with, she is very knowledgeable and helpful. Clearance our electrician has also been pleasure, any of the minor issues that arose were handled with haste and precision.The PNM inspector complimented the work of the solar system installation and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product.

We are so excited and happy that we switched to solar. Andy was our rep at Solar Works and made our experience great. He was very communicative, kept tabs on the progress and got everything set up for us. They had our breaker box upgraded before putting in the system so everything is nice and new. During our initial consultation Andy and his boss answered all our questions and explained everything to us from how many panels we would need, what it will cost, they showed us the app and explained the federal and state tax credit that is currently offered. They were not pushy at all which was very nice. I would highly recommend Solar Works if you are considering switching to solar!

Dear Stephany Farley,I wanted to pass on a good news story and thank you for your help and for reaching out to me in July 2024 regarding the New Mexico state solar credit for my system your company installed in 2021.I struggled in 2022 for about four or five months trying to get everything correct to get my state credit and finally gave up and just amended my return to remove that part so they would quit threatening me because they didn’t have my tax money yet. It was an extremely stressful time and then it was more stressful to lose the $1900 permanently.Then, in July 2024, you reached out to customers, including me and pointed out that we could still apply for the credit and you would help us get through the process with the New Mexico forms nightmare for solar.You helped me on the phone, going through the forms line by line, to fill them out exactly as needed. I then filed an amended return about three weeks ago. Two days ago, I was shocked and happily surprised when I received a check from the state for $1902 for my solar credit for 2021!Again, thank you so much for your assistance in this matter. We have been looking into getting solar for a few years and kept putting it off because it was a big project for our older house, but Andreas made the experience so seamless. He walked us through the whole process and made a customized plan based on our electric needs and potential projects that we are still working on. Since our house is older, we needed to upgrade our fuse box in addition to getting the panels installed. Both crews were very nice and worked efficiently while the power was turned off. Once everything was up and running Stephany was so helpful with all the paperwork and was easy to reach when I had any questions. Its been a few months now and everything has been running smoothly. I have already recommended them to my friends and family and there are a few plans to add solar to their locations soon.

Solarworks installed a very large system on my roof and I am very happy with them! Toby Herrera, my salesman, did an excellent job communicating with me about my needs and making sure they were met. They obviously are very attuned to all of the technical and governmental requirements and handled all of the paperwork and permits with skill and excellence, especially dealing with my very picky homeowners association. They were also very proactive in making sure I met all of the requirements and got all of the paperwork for my solar tax credits. It is a pleasure to work with a company that is focused on customer satisfaction.

A Solar Works salesman ( Niko) came to the house in summer of 2020. I was new to the southwest and knew nothing aboit solar. Niko took his time to explain the pluses & minuses of sloar. I told him to check back nrxt summer, to give me time to do some research. True to his work he checked back summer of 2021. I had them install and switched over in Oct 2021. Everyone at Solar Works was great at every phase of the operation, permits, tax credits, any questios I had. In the 2 1/2 yrs I have saved 100s of $$$.

I did my homework on a locally owned and excellently reviewed solar company. Solar Works was in the top two, and came in slightly cheaper than the other. Carlos was great to work with, smart, honest and not pushy. His facts all checked out. Daisy was “on it” throughout the process. Took a few weeks longer than expected, but that is reasonable. Solar panels got activated last week, and so far everything has gone very well. Would highly recommend. The electrician was polite and respectful. He spoke with the neighbors and let them know he would be doing work on their side of the property. He made sure everything was installed correctly. When he was done the electrician walked me through the work done and what needs to be completed by the electric company. He also gave an overview of the inspections that need to be done by the city then the state before the project is complete.The crew that installed the panels were equally polite and professional. They set up and started minutes after arriving. They explained what they did and showed multiple angle pictures of the work completed. They explained what needed to be done next and the equipment set up for inspection. They did an excellent job cleaning up after completing the work and confirmed information given by the electrician. Excellent service experience from the office to the project at this point. I highly recommend considering Solar Works if youre thinking about making the change.

Solar Works is an excellent company. My spouse and I would like particularly to thank Bernard Miller and Thomas Bennett for their patient and knowledgable services. Bernard was our first contact as customers and helped us understand the technical, financial, and business aspects of purchasing a solar power system from Solar Works. He came to our house 3 separate times before we signed a purchase agreement. This was a huge help to us getting exactly the system we needed with the features we wanted.After significant preliminary effort, the contracts and applications were issued and signed and installations and inspections took place. Finally we got permission to operate.Shortly thereafter, we had a visit from Thomas Bennett, who installed our battery. Thomas is personable, knowledgeable, and experienced. He explained everything and answered all our questions. He and his assistant did an impressively fast installation of the Solarworks battery and quickly connected the battery, panels, and inverter to the PNM equipment at our site. In one day, we were up, running, and producing power. Over the first two days of operating we have produced 76.5 kWh, our battery is 21% full, and in so doing have kept 280 pounds of CO2 out of the atmosphere (or so our MySolarEdge app reports).These are all excellent. Bernard Miller and Thomas Bennett are exemplary representatives of your company. They listened, responded, and acted at a five-star level across the boards. Our aims were met. It took awhile, and of course, we have only barely begun operation, but we could not have asked for better. All good! Five stars!Now something less good. Our first exposure to Solar Works was a neighborhood canvasser for Solar Works who rang our doorbell. We very nearly did not call Solar Works back for a repeat visit (Were glad we did, because then we met five-star Bernard, which resulted in our very cool new and operational SolarWorks system).But the first Solar Works contact (NOT Bernard) was too agressive. His pushy sales tactics almost lost the sale. I dont know his name, but we were _less_ interested in working with Solar Works after he left. Fortunately, we persisted and ended up in a good place with Solar Works. So far our new system is working very well and as promised.

Had a overall great experience with Andy and the Solar Works crew. I was hesitant at first to get solar, but Andy laid it all out and made the process simple. The tax rebates are a nightmare from the state, but the office assists and ensures it gets done right. Even with quick questions or issues the company has made sure I got what Ive asked for and is friendly to work with. And outside of the solar install, Andy went above and beyond to assist me with getting a roof repair done with insurance. That alone is a total pain, so these guys made it effortless for me and now I can enjoy peace of mind that my roof and power for the house are solid for a long time. The power generated has completely offset my usage with room to spare.

My original company spent two weeks and never could figure out the problem. He was professional and courteous And I will recommend him to anyone. I love my solar and my $8 electric bill. There really arent enough words to express my satisfaction with Solar Works Energy. Steven Manzer was our sales agent, then I worked with Brian Hall and Stephany Farley, for planning, install, and any other concerns.Steven was invaluable having his team design options that gave us options for an electrical vehicle, or just the size we needed as a small family unit. He also found incredible loan options for us, and provided all options so we could choose the best for us.First, my HOA was a NIGHTMARE. Stephany never faltered, emailing and calling repeatedly, Brian adjusted the design so we didnt have to see the panels on the front of the house (obviously we asked if this would affect the solar power generated and they installed accordingly to the best design for the sun, while keeping our esthetic concerns in mind).The install was incredible. The team installed 18 panels in a day and the work looked fantastic. We got arial views of the work before and after. The box is neat and clean, they informed us along the way what next steps would be after install and meter approval by PNM.And then after we were powered and online, Stephany sent over the easiest tax credit application I had ever seen. Everything was clearly laid out and instructions were easy to follow.This should be a 10 star rating not a 5, thats how happy I am with them. Any delays in the process were really on PNM and my HOA, and Solar Works Energy went above and beyond (in my opinion) to put the pressure on the HOA to get it approved. They even worked with the PNM inspector to try and update me when the inspector was getting close - so I wasnt waiting around for the 8 hour window PNM had provided.I like the my solar edge app they provide, its a minimal app but shows all the panels and the power my system has generated. And I love the Panasonic name brand. I hope that these panels keep working as expected, if so Im beyond thrilled.Additionally, there was a wind storm that happened (yay albuquerque) and I heard some rattling that didnt exist before the install. I messaged Brian and sent a video of the noise, and he sent someone out the next day and the noise is no more.I think you can go with a lot of solar companies, but I chose this team because they have a local presence. You cant go wrong with this company.

Solarworks installed solar panels on my house over 3 years ago. My panels have performed exactly as they promised. My electric bill has been reduced exactly as they claimed. I was pleasantly surprised. Most businesses exaggerate the performance before they sell the product, but that was not the case. The panels performed as they said they would.The panels are zero maintenance. I don’t even know they are there. They also look nice on my pitched roof.Last month one of the panels cracked for some bizarre reason. Solarworks replaced the panel with a new one free of charge. The personnel are kind and nice to work with. I highly recommend this company.

They were also able to be flexible with loan plans to help us get the one that made most sense for us.Having solar panels is awesome. Id never go back to not having them, if we ended up moving getting solar panels would be the first thing Id do to the house if I didnt already have them.

Anthony, Dillon, and Albert worked diligently all day even as it was lightly raining. Their work is excellent and they obviously take pride in their work. They also were very respectful and answered all my many questions. You are very fortunate to have such a superb team!Toby Herrera stands out as a sales rep. But more than that, he really cares that clients understand exactly what the process is to have solar panels. He has taken extra time to talk to us about the different possibilities and has extensive knowledge about everything. He made us feel comfortable, not pressured, about changing to solar energy.Brian has answered my many phone calls to explain emails we received, aspects of the contract, and what each next step was going to entail. I even called after hours one day and he cheerfully answered the phone and walked me through the signing of an agreement. He, too, is exceptional.Stephanie walked me through the tax eligibility process which made everything very easy to accomplish. She answered my tax questions and has made it clear she will be available to help with next years taxes. Another fine employee!

And my husband doesnt warm up to just anyone, but Erics personality and demeanor with respect for us made us feel like he was family. We trust him and he sincerely has our backs. We got the package combo roof/solar. We recommend him as a person and Solar Works Energy as a NM Company.

My system has only been producing for a couple weeks, but I can certainly attest to the quality of my installation experience. I received professional attention throughout the process. All promises were kept (even if it cost them a few bucks more). Best I can tell, the system is performing as promised.Brian and Toby kept me informed every step of the way through the permitting and installation process. They handled all interactions with both the city and the utility. The installation only took a day, looks clean and passed inspection without issue.My biggest concern now is for all those clouds to blow away!

The biggest thing I can say about this process of making a investment into my financial plans as well as building my home equity is that Fernando Vasquez was very understanding as far as the way I operate when it come to finance planning. I am a young investor (21) and for the last 9 mo after closing on my first property I have been looking for the right corporation and solar consultant to work financially with. I can now say 9 mo. Later I have found the right place to do my investing with when it comes to my home equity and saving cash on my electric bill. Solar Works installed our system today and did a great job. All the work was very neatly done. Highly recommend these guys for your solar project.We contacted Solar Works to fix our inverter and Brian sent Andrew out to fix the unit. Andrew is very knowledgeable and a great electrician. He got the job done quickly and answered all my questions. Thanks for the great service.We are adding to our solar array as we got an electric car. Jacob came out today to take measurements, and he was really quick and efficient.Anthony, Albert and Dylan showed up today to install our additional solar panels. Their work is so neatly done, and they work so well together. I am very happy with the workmanship of this crew. This will add an additional 4.32 kW to our array.
