Recently underwent a bathroom remodel, and I hired Kimbrough Electric for the electrical portion. They installed new recessed lighting, a new vanity light where one wasn’t existing and a new outlet and switch. Anthony was informative and helpful every step of the way. Everything was done on schedule and on budget as initially discussed, no surprises.

I recommend Kimbrough Electric above any competitor in NM. Anthony Baca was my project manager and ensured everything went smoothly. He worked well with the other contractors. I have had multiple experiences using them. Large projects, small projects even custom projects. They have been professional and fair in every aspect. Never 1 negative interaction. All work was completed on time and with the type of craftsmanship I would expect from a seasoned professional. They set up my out door kitchen with tvs, fans , lighting , internet , speakers ,. They set up my waterfall lighting and outlets, all custom and blueprinted. Everything was done to code and inspected . Even the inspector was was shocked and said he would charge a fortune to do work like this. Friendly and understanding staff, very communicative. In my home they added custom speakers , installed internet thought and installed fans , mounted tvs. When I say they have done a lot I’m not kidding.

We started a home project that required moving some electrical wiring around and wanted to finish the project asap. The KEI team came out a couple of days later to give us a quote and was able to schedule us a couple of days later. David was our day-of electrician; he was knowledgeable and efficient, which saved us $. We came in under the estimate and the project was a success! We will use KEI again in the future and would recommend them to family and friends.

Weve used Kimbrough Electric quite a few times and have always been very pleased. Most recently they installed a bathroom fan and ventilation, recessed lighting, vanity lighting, and several outlets in our bathroom. Chase was great and very knowledgeable. We recently needed to install a 30 amp RV plug in our driveway. Based on some work Kimbrough had done at a family members home we gave them a try and we werent disappointed. The work was somewhat complicated because it required a long wire run from our service box to where the outlet was to be installed. The installer, Skye, and his assistant Andres did an excellent job and completed the work in short time. They left the work area clean and neat. We still have some ceiling fans we need to install and will be calling on Kimbrough to do them as well. We are very pleased with the results of the outlet install and would highly recommend Kimbrough

I just had my EV home charging station installed by Dominick and am very happy with the service I was provided. First, Dominick and Anthony showed up early in the day. Im so used to contractors showing up late I just assumed my early morning dentist appointment wouldnt be a problem, so I didnt even bother telling them. (Due to work complications, I didnt get Dominicks phone call about them being en route until it was too late, so the surprise was all my fault.)Dominick took it in stride and once I got him access to everything, got to work while I was at the dentist. After he ran a line from the back of my house to the front and got everything set up, he took the time to explain a few things about the circuit I was curious about. His attention to detail and eagerness to explain things to a layman are really what put my service experience over the top.I am glad a friend of mine recommended Kimbrough Electric and I intend to recommend them to anyone who asks about EV charging station installations.

I have an old house and Kimbrough Electric has been very thorough in handling my homes issues. I chose Kimbrough for my service upgrade and move of laundry room outlets. Anthony has been very communicative from the start. Kimbroughs techs, David and Jake, were amazing including getting through the crawl space, and pointing out non-electric issues that might need attention soon. The kind of stuff that is only found when work is done under the house and an above and beyond communication I value. After the job was complete, they cleaned the area of all job related scrap and waste. My house has additional electric projects to be completed in the future and Ill definitely be calling Kimbrough back based on Anthony, David, and Jakes communication and work.

Electricity problems are very daunting for me. When we encountered an electrical issue late last week, we called several electricians and Kimbrough was able to get us on the schedule several days before others and gave the most reasonable window of time for someone to show up. Aldo was the technician and he was within the time window we were told and was quick and knowledgeable but also patient with my questions. I especially appreciated his willingness to talk me through what had happened and what the fix was. The cost was also extremely reasonable. Very satisfied!When it seemed impossible to ignore my problem with the service connection to the house several companies were contacted. Most companies did not answer their phone and I had to leave a message. Kimbrough Electric answer the phone and immediately had me talking to a technician. The technician Anthony was polite and professional. Because of his prompt response and reasonable estimate my wife and I decide to use Kimbrough for our service connection. Anthony even installed a bracket to hold my existing connection to the wall until permits and installation could be performed. We have used Kimbrough Electric for all of our electrical needs since moving into a new house three years ago. Weve had new light fixtures installed, existing fixtures moved, dimmers installed, and switches moved and changed. When we remodeled our backyard, they did all the new electrical work from scratch. Most recently David installed three new can lights in our bathroom along with replacing a closet light fixture and adding a new accent light to the hallway. When I called to see what this would entail the owner was very helpful and walked me through the possibilities. He even sent me a text so I would know exactly what to pick up for the timer switch I wanted them to install. The electrician (Mike) they sent to do my job was also terrific. He was on time, solved the issues I asked them to address and was very friendly and professional. I have another project for my backyard lightening and I will definitely use Kimbrough Electric again! I called to get an estimate, and Anthony Baca came out quickly. He could have sold me service I didnt need, but was honest, and let me know I actually didnt need to have my house grounded (It already was). He gave me the best price of three electricians I called, and said if I got it, it would be additional grounding, but I didnt have to get it. Another company came out and said basically the same thing, but their estimate was higher. Then the proceeded to tell me how old my circuit breaker was and although its all working fine, it would be a good idea to replace the entire box; about $2600.00. I called Anthony back, and he came over again, very quickly. He looked at everything and said it really didnt have to be replaced at this time. He agreed, it was old, and would need to be replaced one day, but everything was working fine and didnt need to be replaced just because it is old. For my money...HONESTLY is extremely important. Kimbrough Electric has qualified electricians working for them that know this and base what they suggest you do (or dont do), on word of mouth advertising and referrals. So Id recommend them any time, knowing they couldve tried to sell me something I really didnt have to get. Right now money is tight, so Anthonys honestly helped me out a lot. When the times does come to get this work done, Ill be calling them back.

I had an electrical issue which I couldnt figure out for the life of me. I thought I had a shorted circuit and so I began my search for a smart electrician. I came upon Kimbough Electric on the web and checked out their rating on BBB (A+). After a bad experience with a contractor whose cost was cheap (you get what you pay for) I decided to give a professional organization a chance. As soon as the electrician, Gabriel, walked into the house I told him that I needed a no nonsense Smart electrician to trace down the issue. Well, to make a long story short he found the root cause in under an hour using his trace tools, and toner. It turned out to just be a circuit breaker that tripped but was no where to be seen in the house. It was actually on the outside! go figure! a circuit breaker panel that controls your indoor electrical circuits! unbelievable! Great job Gabriel!

Im pretty energy conscious, and my energy bill stated that I was using way more energy than I knew I was using. The workers were professional. They communicated with me what they would need to do and an estimate in price. The work was finished efficiently and I have not had any trouble with their work. I have an old home that needed to be completely rewired. I also added new fans, lights, an outlet for a dryer, and outside outlets. The total cost was very fair. I am extremely happy that I had kimbrough electric update my home from old knob and tube. If I need anymore work done I will definitely give them a call.

Last fall I hired a handyman who said he could. Alas, he could not. I replaced old and very yellow cover plates on all of my electrical switches. This spring my master cooler was turned. The technician told me that both the fan and the pump were wired to the same switch. Something told me to wait to use the master cooler until I could hire a licensed, professional electrician to fix the problem. Gabriel showed up on time and kept me informed throughout the process. He correctly rewired the pump and the fan, told me I could have possibly burned out the motor if I had used it, and even checked the motor on the roof. My advice to anyone is to be wary of an unlicensed handyman who says he can because if he cant it will be more costly to fix the mistakes. Kimbrough Electric was sensitive to the problem, scheduled in a timely manner, and Gabriel knew what to do.

Rarely do I give 5 star reviews but these folks truly deserve the praise. Anthony and Dion are hands down some of the most professional contractors I have ever worked with! High quality work, reasonably priced, polite, personable and on time. They have bent over backwards to make sure my project turns out perfect. Give them a try, I think you will be hard pressed to find a better electrician in ABQ.

I called on a Monday to make an appointment, Anthony came out on Tuesday to give me an estimate, and Wednesday the work was done. I was not only pleased in how fast they responded and completed the work, but also pleased in the great job that was done. Jonathan installed an electrical outlet, installed a new floodlight in which new electrical lines had to be run, and he also upgraded the fuse box with an additional breaker.I will definitely use Kimbrough again for any future electrical projects.

I called Kimbrough on Tuesday and scheduled an appointment for Friday, they could have been here sooner but Friday fit my schedule. The appointment was from 2-5, Gabriel called about 5 minutes after 2 to let Me know he would be arriving shortly. We had two ceiling fans that needed to be replaced, or fixed if at all possible! Gabriel was able to FIX the ceiling fan that we wanted to keep so badly, and installed the second fan upstairs. He was not only Proffessional and polite, he fixed us right up for a GREAT price! Being a newish homeowner these things are very important to us. We have electricians for life. Thank you so much, Gabriel.

I needed some electrical work done at my home so I was searching the web for Albuquerque Electricians, I found Kimbrough Electric and gave them a call. The owner showed up personally and resolved my problems very quickly. The cost was VERY reasonable and I will definitely be calling Kimbrough Electric again the next time I need an electrician/electrical work.

Cant recommend this company enough!! Having some weird electrical issues and they were able to troubleshoot and correct the issue. But that wasnt even the good part. The team, from the office lady, Jazmyn, to the electricians Chase and David, was amazing. They were helpful, kind and very thorough. You can trust them to do good work!!

We used Kimbrough last month and we are very satisfied with the service provided. David and Jake were great. They were very fast and efficient and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Our house is quite old and we are relishing in the upgrades completed for us. We will be using Kimbrough again for any other services.
