First Class Electric was excellent! We needed to install some smoke detectors and Desiree kindly honored the estimate even when we were not able to install them in the 30-day estimate window. We also needed an outlet checked. Sean came on time and was very respectful, professional, pleasant, and efficient. He installed the smoke detectors, troubleshooted and made sure that they were working, and checked the outlet. It turned out that the outlet just had the light switch down and nothing was wrong with it. He communicated this to Desiree and she honored the estimate and did not charge us the troubleshooting fee since it was a simple fix/did not take much time. I was very grateful and appreciative, and appreciate that they value integrity and that they did not just take advantage of the situation. The smoke detectors were going off about an hour after they were replaced and I called back and Desiree was able to get us scheduled in the afternoon for Sean to check the detectors. Sean gave a courtesy call when he was coming from across town in traffic to let us know about the delay, and even though it was towards the end of the day and he had to come back across town in traffic, he was still very respectful, had a positive attitude, and helped us to resolve the issue. We appreciated that they were able to follow up the same day. Wonderful customer service and great job from both Desiree and Sean from start to finish! We would call for future electrical concerns and do recommend. Thank you!

Went with First Class because they didn’t charge me an arm and a leg to just come and tell me if they couldn’t or couldn’t do a job I needed done. They were quick to check out what I needed and get me an estimate. Best priced estimate by far. Plus I wanted to support a smaller local business.They also were quick and efficient to get the actual job done. I’ll definitely call them again for any future needs!

Not only did he fix the concern, he took the time to help me understand why things worked the way they do. He was very friendly and showed a passion for his work. I highly recommend First Class Electrical, Hector and Zach are fantastic. They were able to find my electrical issue, where others had failed. My home had a major issue causing 75% of the house to be without electricity. One company diagnosed it and recommended I add on 2 new lines to relieve the overload. I agreed, paid but, a few weeks later the same thing happened. I was able to get a refund. Had a few more estimates from $9,000. - $12,000. The house was built in 1946 and the recommendation was total rewire. Zach and Hector went room by room slowly getting things working. They worked until 90% was repaired. They came back finished the job and found the broken wire. Due to the structure of adobe, tearing into the wall would not be easy and the ceiling is lathe and plaster. They offered several options, after agreeing on one they finished the work. They did a walk through with me to make sure every thing was working. They cleaned up after themselves talked to me about billing. The office contact listened to my issue and said she knew who to send. She was not wrong, she is informative on charges and costs. My total bill was under $1000.!! Thank you all so very much. If needed I will be calling you all first.

When we bought our house, we knew we would have to upgrade our electric panel at some point. We put it off as long as we could and had multiple people from First Class come out and inspect it over the course of a year and give us advice. Every time they came out, they were friendly, courteous, and highly knowledgeable. They gave us advice that was best for us in each situation, not just what would get them money. It is hard to find honest people that look out for the customers well being instead of just looking to make quick cash. First Class is a rare find, and we are lucky to have stumbled upon them. When we finally got our electrical panel upgraded, they completed the whole process within two weeks. Even when they ran into issues because of how it was previously wired, they spent extra time to ensure that everything was up and running the way we needed it to be. Jesus spent 2 full days here working on our panel and did not leave until we were happy with everything! Jesus, Hector, and Zachariah are all great to work with. I highly recommend First Class for any of your electric needs!

Wow. I’m absolutely blown away by this team’s professionalism. As a woman who does a lot of renovation work on my own, I’m used to having to fight the good fight against being overcharged and talked down to. Not the case here at all!! When I had an electrical emergency at my house, Desiree found someone to come out within the hour. Hector was prompt, friendly, and the issue was resolved in less than 15 minutes! Very reasonable rates and awesome folks. I’ll be using them again for sure.

Contacted First Class to look at repairing our EV charger as well as to terminate our low-voltage keystones. Hector was very knowledgable and friendly when he came to work. They came out on time and were able to work around our staff during store operating hours.Katrina in the office was VERY responsive and incredibly pleasant to work with. Will continue working with First Class for our electrical and low voltage needs and recommend them to anyone looking for work to be done in Albuquerque!

In late 2021, Hector and Andy of First Class Electric installed a manual transfer switch for our circuit-breaker panel so that we can switch four circuits to battery backup if we lose electrical power. They modified the unit we had purchased so that it would meet code, and they handled some unexpected wiring situations. They also modified the switch box itself so that they could mount it securely to a stud. They were on time, polite, clear about what they were doing, and skillful. In short, they are exactly the kind of workers you want to do your house projects. They are not the cheapest you can find, but you get more than you pay for. They could not do the drywall work after installing the switch, but they recommended a drywaller who also did a high-quality job.

Jesus and Andy were excellent! With the estimate and install, they were on time three times!! That is awesome. They were completely professional, worked hard and used their time well. Installing an outlet in my kitchen they even vacuumed up the sawdust. They cared for the look as well as the function. Definitely recommend them and would absolutely call them for any future projects.
