This is the third time we have used PHDs services. On each occasion we are met by an educated, polite, professional, and all around just good people. Today a young man named Chris came out to do what we thought was a routine quick little job. After Chris finished with the work we called them out for he decided to get under our house to inspect his work from there. I am grateful he did because as a result of his thorough nature a much bigger and unexpected problem was discovered. Chris educated me as to what he found and he got to it.Im Gen X. Called company to have a garage utility sink installed. I was subsequently introduced with Macario “Mac” who responded to my residence with a great attitude, awesome work ethic, very professional, clean and thorough. Mac did a meticulous job, he explained what his plan was for my install, he performed the work then showed me pictures of the clean work he performed. He inspected all water lines for leaks ensuring there were none. He cleaned up after himself AND some! Definitely an above and beyond kind of guy! I will definitely call PHD again in the future and specifically Mac the man, the legend! Highly, highly recommend PHD and Mac for sure!!

I had the kind of shower leak that nobody wants to deal with. Behind a wall, terrible access, and a fixture whose parts are not readily or locally available. The kind of job where most people say, sorry, you will have to call the manufacturer just to avoid the nuisance. I called PHD and Jesus S arrived exactly when I was told he would. He had a look and identified the difficulty with a quick resolution given the circumstances but he was eager to give it a go. I left him alone to see what he could come up with and within an hour he had the issue resolved with some really creative tricks to give himself access without cutting any new holes. I am really impressed with Jesus and his drive to solve the problem and see a happy customer. He is a great representative for any business. The price was very reasonable largely because they sent a capable and motivated plumber who got right to problem solving. I would not hesitate to call PHD again. Thank you for exceeding my expectations. Very refreshing.

Due to Covid our winter home in Yuma had been empty for many months. We arrived to problems with both toilets, 1 shower, 3 bathroom faucets, laundry room faucets and much more. We called PHD as they were recommended to us by a couple of our neighbors. We were not disappointed. Chris arrived a did a thorough check of our entire plumbing system and gave us his recommendations. He was very thoughtful, courteous, polite and knowledgeable. We called in the next day to receive a quote and requested that Chris be sent back to do the work. The following day Chris and Brian arrived early in the morning and got to work. We had them replace all of the old grey (quest) pipes, install a new hot water tank, a new dishwasher, 2 new toilets, 4 new faucet sets with drains and all new valves. This was a 2 day job and both men worked long hours to ensure we got our plumbing up and running and did everything possible to lessen our stress. We are very satisfied with the work done and we couldn’t have asked for better workers than Chris and Brian. I highly recommend this company.

My bathroom sink had a stubborn clog and would drain very slowly. Over many months I attempted to clear the clog using several DYI methods, usually yielding minimal results. I called PHD and explained the problem. The office staff was pleasant and helpful. They promptly scheduled a service call and the technician, Luis, arrived on time. He was friendly and courteous. He quickly went to work on that sink which I had been struggling with for so long. When he was done the sink was working better than it had in years! I know I have my new plumber!

We had leak in our roof which came into the bedroom ceiling, the roof was fixed but ceiling repair was left. We are in the process of selling and want to repair the drywall in ceiling, when the drywall man came a cut out the piece there was a trace of mold, PHD was called and within the hour he was at my door, explaining what needed to be done and right away called his guys and they were removed insulation, drywall and treated the area, then they cleaned up all the plastic that covered the furniture. The employees were very polite, fast, efficient and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend PHD

I called PHD to repair a leak that was beyond my handyman skills. They arrived promptly, fixed my problem, and even pointed out another part of the system that was vulnerable to future leaks, given the age and obsolescence of the installed component. I asked the plumber to replace that as well and he did so, all for a reasonable price. Very cordial and professional.

At 5am on a cold winter morning walking through puddles on my patio, on my way to pick up my morning newspaper it was another OMG moment. Luckily my water heater is outside my home so no wet floors, turned off the electricity to water heater cabinet and removed the screwed-on cover to see water leaking out of my OLD water heater, waited till I had my coffee, then called my PHD people to come to my rescue, Sure enough by sun-up time they were here with friendly employee complete with a new water heater and a nice smile. He removed the old one and installed a bright shiny new one, cleaned up the mess, and bid me farewell. Wonderful to have such great folks to do the job. I had a different company come out to unclog the drain in the kitchen sink. Within a week it was stopped up again. I called PHD and they were able to come out the same day. They were extremely professional both on the phone and the technician that came out. He finished the job in half an hour and I haven’t had any issues since. A bonus on top of all that, they were cheaper than other company. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs.

I recently had an issue with a elderly family members house flooding. I looked up plumbers in the Yuma area and PHD had a good rating with many years of experience. Soon Chris from PHD came to our rescue. He was very friendly and helpful. He explained exactly what had happened very throughly to us. He got the job done as quickly as possible and even helped with getting a 3rd party claim started, which is appreciated. My family member was happy with the job and she will be using PHD again in the future.

We have had a shower and a tub sprayed by Dan of PHD. His workmanship is excellent. His attention to detail is as you would expect it to be. I would recommend you get your tub/shower sprayed rather than replace. We now have new tub and shower...well, you now know they were sprayed. Just keep it a secret! We would do this again if we had the opportunity or need.

A HUGE rave to PhD Plumbing. A few weekends ago we heard a leak in the wall of our shower. We turned off the water, took off our shower handle and prayed for an easy fix. It was NOT! Though my husband and I are pretty handy, it was above our expertise. We immediately called our home warranty. Due to a billing error on their part, they refused to help until Monday when billing opened... it was Friday evening. With a 5 year old, and 2 month old, we could not go all weekend without water. We googled the first 24 hr plumbing company and got PhD. I’m so thankful we did. He came out that night, though he had been at a wedding, to try to find a temp fix so we wouldn’t have to go all night without water. When that didn’t work, he promised to be back first thing in the morning to fix it. He came back and did a spectacular job. The leak was caused by someone putting a bandaid on the bigger problem before we bought the house. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyways, we had explained to him the situation with our warranty, he allowed us to wait on our payment so that we could submit our claim to our warranty so they could pay it. I will NEVER use another plumbing company!

Jesus came to my house to replace parts under a jacuzzi tub. Initially he didn’t think he could do it and suggested uninstalling the tub. He could tell I was disappointed. I told him I was afraid he would say that. I explained it wasn’t his fault I had just hoped it was going to be easier cause my grandson was coming to town and he loved using the tub. He decided to give it a try. Needless to say he started working on it and was able to change everything out. It took less than 2 hours. I can’t tell you how appreciative I was. Chris arrived promptly at about 8:35 AM. I had two faucets to be replaced in a bathroom. The turn on and off valves also had to be replaced as they were stuck because of the terrible water we have here in the foothills. There was an issue with the faucets I had bought they weren’t really meant for the holes that I have but Chris was a champ and he carved the hole so they were a little bigger and the faucets would fit. Yay Chris! Also, one of the faucets was a little loose so he took it back off. Found the screws to tighten it and tightened it up for me. I just felt like he really took his time, without wasting time, paid attention to the details, and was as kind a repair person or service person I have ever had in my house. It was a lovely experience and I will absolutely use this company again and specifically request Chris. 👍

PHD Plumbing of Yuma AZ is most assuredly the best we have EVER used, and we have lived here twelve years in our older home, (still part of a stable and desirable neighborhood). In every way we were shocked! - by PHD Plumbing - but the reason we were shocked, is that a company this good would be available in rural Yuma. SO smart, professional, exhibiting excellent work ethic, broad range of understanding both older and newer home types of plumbing issues, aware correct/maintain proper codes, and on top of all that not pushy or aggressive about improvements, and REASONABLE! 1st Job: Excellent Bradford White Hot Water Heater.Well installed, International H2O filter (outside) installed perfectly. Second, fixed Leak, discovered other issues needing repair, did drain repair, third, installation of two new toilets. All jobs done with proactive, informative education as plumber worked. We learned so much (best homeowner practices for care/longevity of all purchased devices.) Main thing is, we will be staying with PHD for all plumbing and maybe a bit of remodel projects too as they are well diversified. Smart plumbers. Our Old Engler Family says: Way to GO -PHD!!! Special thanks to Chris, the most brilliant plumber ever:) highly qualified, super professional, for fast, tidy, smartly done, accurate work. Thats why we kept calling PHD for all we had to get done! Our home is a much better place to live in due to PHD!

The baby boy and family are all fine, except were waiting for a crib. Awesome service. My tenants had a car drive through their baby sons bedroom after midnight last night. After waiting three plus hours for another company to respond , I gave up on them and called Mike. He, his wife and their restoration team were there immediately. Amazing folks and truly compassionate. ..thank you!
