    We had a great experience with the company; we called them for water backing up our kitchen sink from a clog somewhere in the building. We called the company at night and they came first thing next morning, came within the 2-hour time window they gave and called to let us know their ETA. Paul did the service for us and he explained what he suspected and what he was going to do. He cleaned up after he was done. Paul was efficient, professional and very pleasant. Highly recommend.

    We recently purchased a home in Framingham and have been going through a lot of renovations. We were required to conduct an inspection of the sewers. Paul came over, was extremely thorough as he inspected and subsequently jetted the sewers clear. unfortunately some more build up at the end where its the citys responsibility. He waited until the super intendent arrived and helped clear the situation.I couldnt be any more satisfied with Paul he did such an amazing job and made sure we were happy and satisfied with the job!Thank you so much again!     Aaron demonstrated a high level of professionalism and meticulous attention to detail in completing the job performed on 9/26/24 (Newton). He deconstructed and reassembled the bathroom to an exceptional standard. I had anticipated needing extensive cleaning after his departure but was pleasantly surprised to find the bathroom left spotless.     Had a bad clog in kitchen sink. John’s drains sent out one of the best plumbers they had. Aiden was unbelievable. He went above and beyond to fix the problem.     Dont normally leave reviews, but wanted to put in a great word for Aidan. We had a sewage backup that leaked out of our apartments utility closet that ruined several hundred dollars worth of stuff. We were obviously frustrated by the situation, but Aidan got to our place quickly and fixed the issue in all of 15 minutes. Efficient, friendly and very considerate.     John sewer’s tech Angel is a god send… technically savvy and his knowledge of Plumbing was right on point. We had Angel come out to Mgh and unclog our main sewer line.     I own a property management company of about 100 doors in Greater Boston and constantly use Johns Water and Sewer for all our clogs, backups, snaking and video inspections. They are incredibly fast, efficient, and always honest. They solve most problems and when its too big (e.g. collapsed sewer pipe) point us in the right direction with where to go. Would highly recommend them for any/all plumbing backups.

    I highly recommend John Sewer if you have problems in your sewers/pipes. They solved a sewer clogging in my house a couple of times. The second one they used a camera and the root cause was found. The technicians are very good. For the same clogging problem Rodenhiser charged me 4 times the amount and were not able to solve the problem as John Sewer did. Never coming back to Rodenhiser for issues like this.

    I had a drain blockage in my kitchen sink. Ive used Johns service before and were quite happy with the result and their reasonable charge. So, I called them again and received service on the same day. Aidan from the company came. He was very friendly, respectful, careful, and quick in his work. He did an excellent job! Frankly, I couldnt ask for anything more from him. He is a perfect kind of home service person that you can expect. With this kind of worker, I will definitely use Johns service again.A minor criticism will be that Aidan had to ask all my info again despite I had given them to the company during my call.     Huge shoutout to Chris for helping resolve our sewer line back up. He went above and beyond to determine the break in the line and marked it in the street. We had been suspecting that previous construction had disturbed the line, because of his expertise we were able to pursue the city for it to be fixed ASAP. He also fixed an issue that a previous company left broken and cleaned the area. This was honestly a life saver for us because we has so much trouble getting someone to prove that it was a break from the city. Fantastic job, thank you!

    James showed up within a couple hours of calling. I explained the problem I had with water backing up into my basement and explained the findings from a prior occurrence of the issue (using a different company). James was extremely knowledgeable on how to fix my issue (root in my line) and had all of the equipment and materials needed to fix my issue. He gave me recommendations on a more permanent solution and provided references for local, reputable companies to fix my waste pipe. And, the cost for the job was about 60% less than what I paid a different company for the same job, but I actually was able to get my roots cleared this time. I will absolutely use this company for all future drain needs. Thank you!!!

    UPDATE: Scott was nice enough to help resolve the matter. Despite the fact that my plumbing was the issue, I’d still recommend John’s!Customer service and punctuality was great, setting up my appointment was smooth and everyone was polite. Problem is unfortunately they weren’t able to unclog my tub drain and I need a plumber to come out instead (I was told the issue is a drum trap in my plumbing). The tech mentioned the drain cleaning should’ve taken 10 minutes but he was trying for about an hour and a half so I definitely appreciate his effort in trying. I hate to complain that I still had to pay, it just sucks that I ended up paying for nothing.

    I elected to use John’s amidst so much local competition because of the quality of work, professionalism, and punctuality mentioned in others’ reviews. People were indeed telling the truth!My experience with Homero and his apprentice, Michael, was super smooth, and the two of them were professional, courteous, easy to work with, and ultimately only charged me for one drain when I was expecting to pay for two (half priced for the second, but still). What’s more, Homero concluded (despite clarifying that’s he’s not a plumber) - and confirmed my own separate suspicions - that one of my upstairs’ pipes is too flat and long, thus causing an ongoing issue. Super helpful insights!Based on my experience - plus others - I’m sure you’re in great hands!

    Javier did a great job resolving a back up in my kitchen sink drain. I had been dealing with the back up for years, and had another drain company service it in the past which only temporarily resolved the issue a little.After Javier worked on it the drain is working better than I have ever seen it since I owned the home. I am confident he resolved the issue much more completely than the previous company. And he charged us less than half of what I paid the other company.

    Brian was very courteous when I called just before 9AM. Andrew was at the door by 10AM. He did a clean and thorough job, in only 30 minutes! I am over 70 and have never had such great service for any house call! The job was a 25 foot drain pipe with 2 - 90 degree bends and an air vent to contend with, and not much room under the sink.Excellent service. Excellent price.

    Posting on behalf of my landlord: I want to shout out John’s Sewer & Pipe Cleaning Inc. I am a repeat customer and they go above and beyond with their service. I needed to use them this week at my tenant’s house and they needed to come back more than once. They were extremely helpful, the work was done well, and the cost was very reasonable (half of what a big drain company would have been!). Jeff was the tech who did the work for this difficult job (drum trap) and he stayed with it until the job was done! Cameron and Cory were great too!     I tried getting the tub to unclog but failed so I called this morning to Johns Sewer and they told me they could have someone out in a couple of hours. I received a call from Greg about 40 minutes later and he stated he was on the way to our home. I had poured Psyllium powder down the sink not realizing it turns to a gluey mess clogging the pipes.The tech was very knowledgeable and did a great job fixing the clog.One more thing. When the tech was getting his tools some grease from his truck accidentally spilled on my driveway.     Johns Sewer & Pipe is an excellent and professional service. All the staff I dealt with were very kind, professional and responsive. My upstairs neighbor had and issue with their pipe and I agreed to let them go through my ceiling to repair to avoid jack hammering his floor. Unfortunately he refused to pay for the cost to fix my ceiling and Scott the manager was responsive and helpful, even though this was not their issue. In the end the neighbor did pay for this to be done after much stress but I was so impressed by Scotts willingness to be helpful as clearly this neighbor was responsible. Would highly recommend and use again if needed!

    I used their service to open a clogged storm drain in my driveway yesterday.They responded immediately, and their technicians showed up within 2-3 hours, exactly as they promised. They were transparent about the price (reasonably affordable). When they figured out they need to water jet rather than snake the drain, they immediately coordinated and provided information about the updated cost.     I called during the evening and scheduled an appointment for the next day. I received an email from Aiden telling me approximately what time he would arrive. When he came, he evaluated all of the issues I had and checked the main sewer line to make sure that the problem didnt originate there. Aiden recommended a plumber for my tub upstairs and told me what needed to be done. Then he fixed the clog in my toilet. He also educated me on how to fix a toilet that was always running.     Couldn’t be happier with the service and professionalism provided by John’s Sewer out of Woburn. Called on a Monday at 5pm and they offered to come out that night. We settled on Tuesday morning 9-12am and they called to let me know they could come early if I was available. I was and they showed up at 8am. Their technician Lawrence was amazing! Explained everything to me every step of the way and diagnosed the problem within 10 mins. Had it fixed and my main line flowing smoothly in under 30. Quoted me a price Monday night and that’s the price I paid Tuesday morning. Lawrence was careful and thoughtful bringing in and removing his equipment and cleaned up after the job was done so much so that you wouldn’t even know he was there.     My experience is great.The main sewer line is clogged. We call John’s Sewer and they send someone to fix it. The plumber comes right on time.My house does not have a sewer clean out. The plumber carefully move the equipment to my basement. He has to broke apart the equipment and assemble it back. He did it quickly and didn’t touch any of my door frame or wall. He has to take the toilet in the basement out to reach the sewer line. We have a minor clog and he fixes it quickly. Afterward he mopped the floor with white towel to keep things cleaned.     I called John’s as a precaution maintenance to check main sewer line, as I had clog with roots 2 years ago. There are a lot of big trees! Tech came at designated time, very polite, answered questions, and wore a mask which was appreciated. Pipe was apparently clear which was great. However, lots dirt on cellar stairs, after, which I let go, thinking it’s just mud. He mentioned it actually. However on second look After he left, I looked painted treads had digs and large paint chipping, and white woodwork and door were slimed too. He didn’t clean up and wasn’t careful. So, I took off a star ... I initially said three stars, but I had gotten excellent service previously. I was especially annoyed because I had said someone had left a mess one time, after a job and I wasn’t happy.Please clean up after! I had the area freshly painted a year ago.

    Great experience all around! Very professional!I called at 7 pm last night with a clogged sink and was told by Brian at dispatch that they could get someone out to my home by 9 pm.... 1 hour later I receive a call from the plumber, Dennis, that he would be here in 30 mins!Sure enough, right on time and very cordial. Within 25 mins my sink was unclogged and fully functional.Thanks again guys!-Brad

    Bathtub stopped draining so I called them first thing in the morning. The technician arrived a couple of hours later, diagnosed the problem, and had the drain cleared in about 15 minutes. Price for the timelines and professional service was quite reasonable.

    After some City road repairs, my house drainage was not working and backing up into the house, so I called Johns Sewer for a video inspection and a blockage was pinpointed to at the street level. Johns Sewer technician George helped me work with the City Waste Water Department and City contractor to find the problem, which was a crushed sewer pipe due to the city contractor laying the new water main on top of my sewer pipe. He followed all COVID-19 prevention protocols as if they were just second nature; that he’s clearly been following every guideline throughout this nightmare.2.     Needed our main line cleaned. I was given the choice of doing video inspection or not, no pressure whatsoever.     I had gotten John;s Sewer & Pipe Cleanings info from a contractor that didnt service our area. They too were awesome, and I wish I lived in Dorcester so we could hire them. When the Johns Sewer & Pipe fellow came to our house we had already been through a bit of a saga with a plumber team of 2 who couldnt clear the drain after 4 hours. It was thought to be a possible spelunking expedition involving opening wall and ceiling access. Johns Sewer & Pipe fellow came in, dealt with the drain and in less than an hour all was resolved. Even a secondary clog in a basement drain that I noticed when inventorying all the drains was deftly handled. I would call them again for anything that clogs.
