    Had Green Dot install our mini split for our new sunroom. They suggested a unit that tucks into the ceiling which freed up all the wall space and is virtually unseen. Chris and Caleb came on time and were so careful with this complicated installation. They had to go through the attic and the crawl space in addition to adding a drain through the wall. They were extremely polite and professional in their demeanor. They took great care to not track sawdust or anything on my floors and cleaned up very well when they were finished. They took care to explain the functioning of the unit to me and my husband. The unit is very quiet and works very nicely to cool the room down. We are extremely satisfied with their work and with this product. Green Dot was very easy to work with and when I called to tell them the construction was at a stage where they could install the until they came right out without disturbing the other work in progress.

    I went to Green Dot after having an issue with another company. They were quick to check on my issue, and worked to try and find the best option for me through repair, and eventually replacement.     Luis and the team at GreenDot always do a great job. I have our home zoned into 4 zones. So it takes some time to inspect, clean and tweak the system. GreenDot always makes sure our units are running at peak and doing it efficiently. All in all it saves us time and money over the course of a year.

    Great job installing new Tempstar HVAC system. Greg and his team removed my 24 year old Weatherking system and installed a new Tempstar side discharge HVAC 2.5 ton system which fit between my driveway and my house allowing my boat to back past my house into the back yard.The first outside unit was damaged by the freight company, so Greg sent it back and got a new one to replace it!The installation was done exactly like I wanted and the work was very professional and done with all the right equipment and instruments to get the job done right. They interfaced my existing Ecobee thermostat system which monitors the temperature in all the rooms using bluetooth technology. They braced the unit (at my request) to the house to prevent movement during a hurricane.I want to thank all the guys for working in this heat wave in my attic.Thanks to Greg, Wesley, Jordan, Justin, Sam, and Reese.Thanks for a job well done. I highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs.

    We have been using Green Dot at our vacation rental for several years. They did a new install for us, regular maintenance and most recently a repair on one of the hottest days of the year (also 4th of July).     I had to replace my HVAC compressor . The office staff worked quickly to get me a new one.They were always pleasant and accommodating on the phone.     We had a new AC/heat pump installed in may. Several issues were discovered with the installation, which green dot promptly fixed. We have since had to have green dot techs out for a couple of issues with a less than 6 month old unit. We have also not yet been contacted by Green Dot for our inspection of our new unit. I reached out regarding the inspection and was informed that eventually, someone from Green Dot would contact me to schedule, that was months ago. Our current issue is the heat pump not operating. Overall, we are left feeling buyers remorse and frustration, dealing with setting aside time to meet with techs coming out to repair a brand new unit. Also, I am starting to wonder if other install issues may have occurred that are beyond my scope of knowledge.Update:Truly appreciate the response from the owner to my negative review. Our unit is now operating as intended. Apparently a wire was blown out by the capacitor. Our inspection was just completed. We are now awaiting an update on the status of a rebate through Duke Energy that to our understanding Greendot was responsible for applying for (update: got the details, thanks Vicky!). Overall, we are still feeling a lack of confidence in our new unit.

    I called green dot and they were able to get someone out same day!! Nevada showed up not on time but early! Went to work and found the problem outside with our capacitor. He fixed it in no time, and then didnā€™t leave until we were both satisfied with the cool air that was great fully flowing out of my vents once again! Nevada was very helpful and made sure I didnā€™t have anymore questions or concerns. A+ definitely have my business again.

    Fatherā€™s Day afternoon we noticed our air conditioning was not cooling. I called Green Dot and was pleasantly surprised my call was taken in person and not directed to a machine. I noted the time 4 pm and figured a technician would be out Monday. Note: because we have a yearly club membership a technician was dispatched and arrived promptly. The AC was over 10 years old and needed replacement. We were then connected with Jordan, who came to the house and explained our options and presented us with 3 different proposals.We responded later that night and accepted a proposal that fit our needs. Green Dot was out the next day at 9:am and finished early afternoon. Our technicians Luis and Edward were professional and courteous. Hands down the very best from customer service to sales to installation. My air unti went out on Friday morning and needed to be replaced. A company out of Jacksonville I had been with for mutliple years snubbed me and told me they could not come out to look at it until Monday with a replacement over 1 week out! I called Green Dot at 2:45PM and within 1 hour they were at my house and gave me an estimate within the hour. A brand new until was installed on Tuesday. Three (3) days from start to finish!!! Jordan, Chris and Ryan are the best!!! Thank you all so much for making this process and headache go away with no frustration.     Things begin with the sales and Danny, our salesman had a wealth of knowledge and definitely took the time to work with us on this costly endeavor. Even had two window units for us to use while our unit was down and that meant tons to us as there were hot days on the horizon. They provided us with enough cool air to keep us comfortable. The installation was done on two different days as the rain held up the AC unit be installed but they did install the air handler and came back ASAP and installed it.     I highly recommend Green Dot for any HVAC maintenance, Repair, servicing. Stanton and Wesley were professional, on time, knowledgeable, transparent, and reasonably priced. In fact, they fit us in that same afternoon. They made sure that our house was able to be temperature regulated, as we had to wait for a part and it fell on a Friday before Labor Day weekend. It couldā€™ve been a very rough weekend without AC, and 100Ā° weather, but Green Dot was reliable and able to take care of us. I have worked with other companies before, but I will stick with Green Dot forever.     My air conditioner broke this summer and 2 different relatives recommended me Excel Air.They checked my unit and it was out of the old refrigerant which most likely due to a leak someplace.Because my ac was about 15 years old they recommended me to replace it instead of repair it because most units last about 15-20 years and the repair was at least $800 to refill old refrigerant plus the leaking part which could go up to a lot more and then probably will keep braking often because of age.I took their advise and bought a new ac unit. They gave me some free refrigerant to get me thru for a few weeks until they had time to replace my unit.They came within 3 weeks. Technicians placed painting cloth on floor and stairs, work really hard and fast for 2 long days non stop until new ac was running.We are very happy with them, they are honest, come when they say will come, explain you and answer any questions, do quality work, give you 2 included free maintenance visits, 1 year warranty on parts and labor, are very friendly and have great prices.They are one of the best ac companies in town and I will recommend them to family and friends.

    RJS is super. Ive been a customer since 1993 with them having installed first and second floor HVAC units back then and having had replaced both when the time came more recently. Theyve always been there for any needed service calls and Ive relied on their annual maintenance program to make sure my units are working safely and efficiently no matter what the season.     We have used RJS for 14 years. They serviced our home which has 5 HAVC units and our fathers home that had 3. In all the years that we gave had RJS handle our units, we have had nothing but reliable, timely, and personable service technicians. We particularly would mention that most of the time we had Eric working on the units. He was alwaysn on time, informative about the units, efficient and knowledgeable. We have trusted this company to give us accurate information about parts and labor and have not been disappointed. We have never been concerned about having RJS employees come into our home, or the home of our 90 yr. old father, who was very particular about the technicians and the wok being done. Every one of the techs were kind and took their time dealing with our father. There were many times that we had to leave the homes with a technician there working...never gave it a second thought. It is hard to say that about most companies in todays world! We highly recommend RJS for all HAVC needs, or installations of units.

    I had a new ceiling fan that acted weird. It had already scared away one electrician who never fixed it. Reese from Green Dot came out, studied it, studied the documents I gave him and thoughtfully diagnosed the situation. Reese said the remote receiver was a lemon out of the box. I contacted Hunter fan company, they sent a new one, I just put it in and it works. Thanks Reese and Green Dot for answers.

    After major problems with my HVAC system that my old service company was no longer able to correct, I switched to RJS Heating and Air based on my neighbors recommendation. My problems have been corrected and now I am running as one of the most efficient vs worst on my HVAC energy consumption per my electric company. RJS was extremely professional, always has been punctual, honest in what needed to be done and also competitive in its pricing. They are a local company that has done outstanding work for us.
