American Rooter was fantastic to work with in solving a drainage problem in our home. After experiencing significant sewage backup in our basement, we discovered an old “house trap” under the basement floor (a U-shaped pipe commonly found in older homes). After doing some research, we decided to have it removed, as these traps can cause serious drainage issues.It was no easy job, but American Rooter came out the next day to assess the situation, provide recommendations, and offer a reasonable quote that beat the competition. They promptly scheduled the project, and their crew was friendly, efficient, and finished the work in just one day.I was impressed with their clear communication, the quality of the work, and the fact that it was completed on time and at the agreed-upon price. I would highly recommend American Rooter and will definitely use them for future projects (hopefully not anytime soon!).

We had a sewage backup at one of our businesses. The room was disgusting. Carlos came out quickly, fixed the issue quickly, and assisted our housekeeping department in cleaning up the mess.Im sure they see worse. But for us this was really bad. The efficiency was great but the assistance, going above and beyond, with the cleanup was much appreciated and definitely not part of the job.

We had a significant leak involving our hot water heater. Initially we got a next day appointment. When I called back frustrated I couldn’t find the right shut off, they were able to schedule a same day appointment and then connected me to the manager Keith. He came out quickly, helped me with the shut off, and confirmed the hot water heater needed replacement. He was able to let the guys who were scheduled to come know what they needed, so they arrived knowing what to do. We had a new hot water heater within a couple hours of discovering the leak at an extremely reasonable price! Everyone is very professional, quick, friendly and helped calm a stressful situation. So appreciated!

I have used this service twice. The first time was an emergency. They called me right back and came out immediately. And they fixed the problem in under an hour. The second time, they installed a new hot water heater and the work was done in about two hours and it came in costing less than the quoted price. They seem to really care about their customers and I highly recommend them.

We woke up to a backed up sewer line one morning and needed immediate help. I was referred to American Rooter never having used them before. They were able to schedule a technician visit within 90 minutes of my call and give me their pricing model over the phone. Technician arrived on the dot with a mask as well and explained what he was going to do and that his objective was to get it done within the first hour so I don’t pay for extra hours. He fixed the clog within 45 minutes and explained the problem to me including what I may want to address in the longer term. He kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up anything that leaked in the area. The experience was perfect and exactly what I needed to get on with my work day with minimum disruption. Pricing was very fair and actually less than I expected before calling.

Had an emergency plumbing explosion on Thanksgiving that essentially stopped all plumbing functions in the whole house.They were able to be out here quickly, arrived within the time frame, and were able to diagnose and fully address the problem in about an hour. Was even kind enough to first try to dig up the lid and go through my septic tank to save me clean up (I really appreciated the effort even though it didnt quite work). He explained everything and worked quickly and efficiently. Very pleasant to work with and even talked to my husband on the phone to answer any extra questions.I did, of course, pay a holiday emergency fee, but that is to be expected. Cost wise, it was right were I expected it to be for an emergency holiday call. Would absolutely recommend.

American Rooter sent a man today, 10-23-2018, S.W.O.# 191467 to unclog my bathroom shower drain. He communicated with me when he was coming by phone and showed up when he said he would. He did a great job unclogging a drain that was completely plugged up and 80% clogged previously for longer than I want to admit. He was professional, courteous, fast, and likable! I was really impressed with the quality of service I received today at a reasonable cost! Kudos!

I called American Rooter after another nationally-advertised company not only failed to fix my problem but left it much worse than it had started. Glen arrived early, quickly understood the situation, and didnt hesitate to get extra help to correct it. Another employee literally climbed down into my septic tank to extract the snake the other company had left tangled in my pump wiring and cleared my drain...all for a fraction of the price the other company wanted for its service. Needless to say, that other company didnt get a dime, and American Rooter got a client for life.

Within two hours of calling they managed to fit me in. The price on the phone was the price they charged me. They got the job done and we were happy with everything about the service. I had to verbally give my credit card on the phone to the person in the office before they would come out.That was the last charge I made. Several days later, my card company called asking if I had made several online charges for over $1000. I had to cancel the card and get it replaced. Very inconvenient since I have lots of automatic charges. That was the only non-routine use of my card in quite some time.

American Rooter is the best solution for your backed up drains they are thorough and efficient. Dont waste your time getting quotes either they are reasonable. Ive had a structural issue with my pipes and have used them several times with good results. They helped me to pinpoint the problem and now I can feel certain of making correct repairs instead of someone over charging me thousands of dollars.Their technicians especially Patrick are competent and pleasant to deal with 5 stars here. Call them for your drains you wont regret it.
