Advanced Foundation Repair and LevelingWe recently hired Advance Foundation Repair and Leveling to address issues with the foundation at our home and we were so impressed with the work that was done. Jimmy Meeks (owner), his foreman Kenny, and Kenny’s crew were efficient, polite, hardworking, and very respectful of us, our home, and our dog. The job was started and completed on time as promised. His crew dug around the perimeter of our home, performed the repairs, and then put everything back the way they found it. They treated our home like a home and not like a “job site”. Furthermore, Jimmy and Kenny were both available to us throughout the entirety of the project to answer questions and address our concerns. Jimmy never failed to answer our calls. These things really stood out to us as we have worked with other contractors in the past who did none of these things.When Jimmy came to give us a quote, he explained the whole process to us from start to finish. When Kenny and his crew showed up to do the work, Kenny went over the process with us again and updated us regularly on the progress. Kenny walked our property to explain what was going to happen, and with each new step he showed us what was being done, how it was being done, and why. He showed us the equipment and materials that would be used prior to the start of the job and how they would be used.Once everything was complete, we were encouraged to call with any questions or issues that may arise so that they can be taken care of promptly. We really can’t praise this company and the manner in which they do business enough. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing to stabilize, level, or repair their foundation. Their pricing is fair and the work they do and the service they provide is above and beyond. They came highly recommended to us by others and we, in turn, highly recommend them as well. Advanced Foundation exceeded our expectations.

Spencer came by to give me a second opinion on a quote for foundation repair, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He talked with me honestly about the state of my foundation and helped me to know that I didnt need the repairs as soon as I thought I did. He told me what to do to improve the state of my foundation and even gave me his card, telling me to call him with any questions. He treated me with respect and care, took time to explain everything and even recommended that, due to a warranty issue, I should stick with the other company. Time will tell if Ill be following that last piece of advice as this is a person and a company I would trust with any work on my home. I wish I could give them a hundred stars!! If you need foundation work, they are the company to go to.

Spencer came out to take a look at our house after we noticed some potential settling of the foundation. He looked at the points of concern and measured the foundation level inside the house, explaining everything and why no work was necessary - what a relief! What a night and day difference from the company that came a few days earlier, who tried to oversell (and overprice) us on work we did not need, and that would have likely created many problems for our house. It was a huge emotional relief to have Spencer clarify what every level number meant and the condition of the foundation. What great customer service from owner Jimmy M. We bought our house over 2 1/2 years ago and had some concerns with our foundations. Jimmy showed up not only to give a detailed inspection with our concerns but added peace of mind that our home is old and has been tested more importantly against time. Fast forward to yesterday 6/18/2024 we are now selling our home and the buyers have what I’m sure was the same concerns we had purchasing this home. Jimmy came back out gave the house a full inspection as previously free of charge to re a sure the new owners as he did us in the past. Oh we have big dogs American Bully and an Australian shepherd pit bull mix, Barnum & Bailey. He loved all over our dogs 2 1/2 years ago and again yesterday… I think they like him as much as we do. I highly recommend Jimmy and his team if you have any concerns with your foundation.

We had Advanced House Leveling & Foundation Repair work on our home back in March. Wade came out, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the entire process to us. Jana was helpful getting us on their schedule and was very responsive any time we had a question. What was most impressive was 3 months later my family was returning from a trip and could not access the front door. Thinking the foundation may have shifted I contacted Advanced. Jimmy (owner) was out at our home in 10 minutes at 6:45pm at night. He was able to get the door open and save the day which had nothing to do with the foundation (lock issue). You dont see that type of service anymore. Jimmy and his team are top notch and they are the only company in Central Texas that you should work with!

We were already thrilled that he was willing to drive 55 miles to give us a FREE foundation inspection when no one else we called (that far out) was willing. The guys who did my house are hard working, courteous and very professional. In the last phase of their work, they assessed again the need for installing the remaining interior piers. Based on their assessment, the installation of the remaining piers are not necessary anymore. Their engineer came to confirm that it is really not necessary. They recalculated my bill and I paid less than the original price. All I can say is that this people are with integrity. They could have continued to work on installing the remaining piers and get more money, but they did not.

Edit- I believe miscommunication is being resolved, so updating review.I have been holding off on posting a negative review for over six months, but now as Im about to be out of pocket $$$$ I want to make others aware of my experience. We were looking to purchase a house last year that had some concerns with cracking, sticking doors, etc. and the previous owners had foundation work done twice by this company. I wasnt sure if theyd ever had the drywall repaired after the foundation work so I was unsure if it was old or new issues. Luckily our realtor had worked with Jimmy on many other transactions so she texted him and he agreed to come check out the foundation before we proceeded with the contract for house. I met Jimmy personally here and he walked through the house with me- he concluded the foundation was fine and said he would have no concerns if it were his own parents wanting to purchase it. He also assured me that even if some areas needed adjusting in the future they were covered under the lifetime warranty. It was a big relief to hear this, so we proceeded and closed on the house. We spent thousands of dollars repairing drywall, painting, and putting in new floors. A couple months later, cracks started appearing, doors were sticking, etc. I called to have them come take a look and see if anything needed adjusting since I was told they would be covered when I met with Jimmy. Thats when I found out we had not submitted the warranty transfer paperwork within 30 days of closing on the house, therefore the warranty was void. I was frustrated because just a couple months before I was told it was covered under the lifetime warranty without any mention of needing to file a piece of paper or pay a fee. This seems like lying by omission. I was about 60 days late of this deadline. I offered to pay the fee and submit it then as I had no indication that this needed to be done- I thought I was being proactive with meeting with the company AND having all original receipts and warranty paperwork in hand. I was never told by realtors, sellers, or Jimmy that I needed to file this paper. I thought that was the point of a LIFETIME warranty on a permanent house. I was told the office would look into it and see if anything could be done but now thats been seven months ago. Ive called every few weeks and keep getting the same response. At this point I just want to know if their word is honored or not. Im wanting others to please take into account that even with a lifetime warranty, there will still be all the loopholes they try to scam you out of, even when you attempt to cover all bases by meeting with the company personally. A competitor in town has the following motto-If something we did fails, we FIX it. Period.A _______ Warranty is completely transferable at no cost and remains on file with the property (because people move, properties don’t!) .....I wish this was their motto also. Ive never shared a bad review and hate to do this but at this point Im very sad that the work and word was not honored and dont want the same thing to happen to others. I will note the office personnel Ive spoken with on the phone has been polite.

Advanced House Leveling and Foundation Repair did an excellent job on our house! We purchased a 1905 home which we are going restore and they were recommended to us by our restoration contractor, Magnolia Homes. Jimmy Meeks, the owner of Advanced House Leveling and Foundation Repair, contacted us directly before work started. We were given a thorough review at our home so that we understood the scope of the work needed and how the work was going to be performed. When work was almost halfway complete, it was found that the methodology used to shore up our home was going to be insufficient to completely level our house and maintain a good foundation without some re-settling problems. Jimmy re-analyzed the project and determined that a much more aggressive method would be needed to ensure that our house would be problem free and as level as possible. Showing true honesty and excellent business ethics, Jimmy informed us that he would bring in his top building leveling people to work on our home to perform the intricate and more extensive level work that was needed. He did all of this for us and still maintained the original contracted price to do the work. We highly recommend Advanced House Leveling and Foundation Repair for any foundation needed on your home. This company is getting three stars because of the cost and they eventually did come out and do the work..I called on a Monday, and they scheduled me for Friday saying they couldnt give me a time just some time in-between 8-5. No show. Told me it would be Saturday. Waited around all day because , again, they wouldnt give me a set time. NO SHOW AGAIN.Got a call the following Monday that they had been running behind. I would have been fine with rescheduling but they didnt even call me and tell me they werent coming so I sat around all day Friday and Saturday waiting on them for them to not show up. VERY FRUSTRATING.He did come out on Monday, and did the service, and it was very inexpensive. Wasnt the most professional, but at this point I was just dealing with it to get it over with. Foundation was fixed and I was charged what they quoted.Biggest complaint is the lack of communication. I can deal with it tho for the price they charged.. just wanted to make sure everyone knew that You need to really get a time in writing so they show up when they say they will.

Wish I could give 10 stars. The only company to use if you ever need foundation work or repairs. Im sure they do plenty of residential homes, but this company was called out to stabilize an almost 100 year old museum building. Crew did above excellent work from the first day to the last. Did not have to worry about watching them nor supervising them as they were 100% professional. Its been almost a year and the building has not moved 1/16th of an inch. The icing on the cake for me was that the area where the work was performed was left cleaner after the repair was made than before they started. Wonderful company to do business with.

They have a LIFETIME Warranty and there is no charge should they have to return. Oh! The warranty is transferable to your descendents or to a buyer should you ever sell your home. They were extremely professional! And the price was better than all others whom I had give me bids. It is so nice to walk around our level home now! Having sewer lines replaced is like getting a colonoscopy. Do it the right way and you wont feel it being done. If you have an older home in the Woodway/Waco area with cast iron sewer lines its not a question of will they need replacing, the question is when will they need replacing.Do a leak test, get a camera shot, get two or three quotes from the plumbers and and then call Jimmy - Let him orchestrate a fix. Believe me you will save thousands. Half the time the plumbers job it out to him to do the dig out so start with him first. On my job they ran into much harder rock than anticipated or ever witnessed in the Woodway area, burned up a bunch of drills and still kept to the quoted price. His whole team is unbelievable.So do it the right way.
