Gulf Coast Shutter installed Armor Screen at my home approx 2 yrs ago. They did an excellent job, but I never tried to install the screen until recently when preparing for what may be a bad hurricane season. I could not figure out the buckle and strap install procedure. Ron came out today to take a look and give me one on one instructions. Thank you Ron for excellent customer service.

Overhead Door Company of NW Florida provided the best customer service I have experienced since moving to Florida in 1999. When my garage stopped opening and closing suddenly, I called them and they sent an excellent overhead garage door technician ,Josh, who immediately inspected, adjusted, and serviced the door after he fixed it in less than hour. The price for his great work was fair, reasonable, and fit my fixed income budget. A super job from the office staff and technician from start to finish. I had Gulf Coast Shutter install some second floor window screens that can quickly be put up from INSIDE the house (Armor Screen’s Hemcord). This replaced my existing hurricane screens that were too dangerous for me to install by myself way up on a ladder. You can put your full trust in this company. From the estimate through the install they did a great, professional job. Communication throughout the process was fantastic and timely. They stand behind their work and quickly corrected a minor issue with the manufacturer. Wyatt and Brandon did my install and I’d trust them to do any work on my home. Dont hesitate to call on this company.

James technician did a great job. Very friendly and talkative. Completed repairs quickly by replacing the heavy duty springs. He called ahead to give me a 30 minute lead time and arrived within the service window. I have used Gulf Coast Shutter on several occasions for home projects, they have always been first rate. Recently however when I asked them to adjust my garage door spring they realized it was the wrong size spring installed by them more than a year before. They replaced the spring with a new larger one for no charge - I did not ask for a no charge and did not expect it, they just made that decision on their own. This company stands by its work. Very trustworthy.

My wife and I ordered hurricane shutters from Gulf Coast Shutters (GCS), and they were made exactly to our custom specifications. The shutters took longer to arrive than expected, but this was because of restrictions put on the manufacturer thanks to COVID, but GCS communicated the delay to us in a timely manner. The installation team was topnotch too and completed everything in one day, including cleanup. GCS was recommended by some friends of ours, and the company did not disappoint--would recommend them, so much so that my wife and I decided to go ahead and finish adding hurricane shutters to the rest of our windows. It would be nice if more home-trades contractors were as good & honest as GCS.

The guys from Gulf Coast Shutters came out recently to take a look at a heavy roll down which had failed. What impressed me most, besides the obvious that they knew what they were doing, was the honest attempts to come up with a lot of different solutions. “These are your options.” They could have easily stuck with the option that cost me the most and made them the most. Without being said, I essentially heard, “This is the best thing to do.” Similarly, “If I lived here, I would …” Also, I have numerous colonial bi-fold and Bahama shutters on the house. Again, Todd Cook suggested a number of thoughtful and creative solutions and options. If I need anything else, I plan to have these guys out again for sure, and will request Todd be part of the team.

They figured out the biggest puzzle of rehanging 3 stories of 46 Bahamas shutters that we had taken down and powder coated.The schematic of where they went was lost by our painter, the arms were all in a box unmarked and shutters no longer had an indicator on them to correspond to the number marked on the window.5 days later, they were all meticulously hung, level and all opened to the same angle. All I can say is that these guys parted the Red Sea for me. Thank you so much Todd and Chris and a big shout out to Shae for helping me thru this nightmare left by my house painter.

This particular installation was for the front of my home. It was important to hide the wires and not distract from the look of the home. It looks beautiful and updated. Cannot say enough good things about James with Overhead Door! Punctual, Very Friendly to myself as well as my son and dog. Personable and So Efficient! I think he was finished in 15 minutes. He recommended a lubricant spray and had it on hand to sell me and show me where I need to apply for regular maintenance. I will be recommending him to all my neighbors and friends.

I had a great experience with Gulf Coast Shutter all around. My old garage door opener motor died, and I looked into this company because my neighbor was adamant that I should give them a call. Their quote was comparable to the competitors, but their customer service is what really sold me. My first interaction was with Shannon McCormack who did a fantastic job detailing the motors and options available and being extremely transparent on the price every step of the way. I decided on the Odyssey 1000 with the OHD Anywhere capability, and they were able to schedule me a few days later.John Phan was on time and even called me 25 mins ahead of arrival to keep me updated. John was extremely professional and very personable. He did the removal of my old motor and install by himself, and you can tell he has extensive experience by how efficient he was. He explained everything along the way and took the time to show me everything I need to know to maintain the opener and door myself. I like to understand and tinker with most things so I like to pick the brain of most tradesmen when I get the chance, and John truly earned this business their 5-Star rating.A lot of ratings these days are transaction based and drive a discount or something in return, but I am not getting compensated for this what so ever. This is an honest assessment of this business and their staff, and I recommend you allow them to earn your business.
