    Absolutely exceptional company. Was contacted by a service tech, met with the Foreman to discuss options, then a service tech came out and completed a large job (main shut-off valve and main sewer line). Highly recommend, will use again in the future for any other heating/cooling or plumbing issues. Thank you Fetz!

    This family owned company stands by their work. My furnace went out this winter. I was not a customer with them but they came right out. My furnace was a hard one to fix. Fetz came out every time I called until it was fixed. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.

    Our furnace went out on Christmas Eve night, they came out Christmas morning and in a few minutes he had it going, but he said he wanted to come back to check everything over. They came the next week and found that the heat exchanger was bad. They found it was under warranty and got it ordered. As soon as it came in, they scheduled the repair and were here the next day. The furnace is in a tight location but Brian got the exchanger replaced quickly and we are good to go. Everyone has been kind, courteous, and respectful, and they called when they said they would, and arrived on time, if not early. Brian showed care for my family, asking if we had carbon monoxide detectors and making sure we hadn’t had symptoms of co poisoning, and before he started the repair, he made sure we had alternative heating in case something happened and they weren’t able to finish that day. We have been very pleased with our experience from Fetz.

    Steve Eaton is my hero today!!The city left a note on my door this morning, which I saw on my doorbell camera a little late, around noon. Turned out that theyd detected very high water usage here. Long story short, Steve came out,and found the problem in my basement, which was flooded. The problem was defective cold water tubing up to the fridge in the kitchen - it was brittle, and literally broke into pieces.By 4PM, Steve has contacted the city, who came back out to verify the problem, turned off the water, replaced the defective tubing, turned the water back on, then pumped the water out of the flooded basement.I just turned 70, born and raised in Urbana, but Ive lived elsewhere for several decades, and being back here, its been obvious how difficult it is to get good service in Urbana, small as it is. Steve and Fetz changed my opinion about that today for the better - I know now who will be my regular plumbing/HVAC service provider.!!!

    I have been having problems with an older toilet in my home and I was looking for a full service plumber to replace the unit. My relative had a good experience with Fetz out of Urbana so I decided to give them a try. They had several choices in toilets to pick from. We choose the elongated version but not ADA. They carry the Gerber line. I had a little bit of wait till I could get scheduled but they also had to come to Springfield. I am very pleased with the product and the service. The installer was friendly and knowledgeable. He got the job done in less than an hour. The toilet works great. It has an easy to remove seat for cleaning and seems like a much more powerful flush. Overall the experience was perfect and I am very satisfied.

    Called them, our air was not working. Came straight out and fixed it in minutes. ( I believe name is Brian) Super nice folks too. They have done our plumbing but just found out they do heating and air too! Will always call them.

    Last minute request on our kitchen re-do due to our contractor flaking out when the job was too complex. Fetz could handle the very difficult reno installation and re-worked all the kitchen plumbing. They have also done routine maintenance on our heating and cooling system. Scheduling is flexible and they show up on time. Work is done quickly and professionally. Recommend for all plumbing, HVAC and heating needs.

    I have used Fetz since I moved into my home 20 years ago. They have always been quick to respond, very professional, and gone above and beyond what was needed. I’ve asked for extra help on things, and they have always been more than happy to accommodate me. I highly recommend them and wouldn’t use anyone else. Matt and Tyler are two people I have worked with this year. Fabulous!

    Some years ago after normal business hours on a Friday night, I heard what sounded like water running in my 120-year-old house. I finally found it: a small pipe in the basement wall had broken and water was rapidly filling my basement. I know how to shut off the water but doing so would require walking through feet of water amid electrical appliances and I wasn’t sure that was safe.My regular plumber recently had retired so I frantically started calling plumbers. I left messages for multiple companies including at their emergency numbers. No one called back until Fetz Plumbing did just 10 minutes after I left a message even though it was well after business hours. They came right out, got the water turned off, fixed the pipe, made sure my sump pump was working to remove all the water, and earned my immense gratitude. Of the many other plumbers I’d called, only one called back that weekend. Some never called back at all.Since then, Fetz has come here many times to fix plumbing and water problems. They’ve always been right on it, worked me in no matter how busy they were even when they had a brief period of being suddenly understaffed, came when they said they would, and identified and fixed whatever the problem was—and they did it CHEERFULLY.Their great attitude about the various problems they’ve encountered here always amazes me because some of the complications that occur in this old house would send Bob Vila screaming for the exit. They’ve rerouted plumbing, replaced the water heater, fixed the toilet and floor under it, put in plumbing for a dishwasher, fixed all kinds of leaks, cleaned out the septic lines, and solved a decades-long problem with groundwater in the two basements (yes, it has two, one deeper than any basement I’ve ever seen). That water has been the bane of my existence. Nothing ever is easy with this house but thanks to Fetz figuring out where all the pipes and drains went and what needed to be changed with a new sump pit and system, my basements are finally dry! Their prices always are less than I’d expect and the service always is more than I’d expect.I’m so glad I finally got around to writing this review. They didn’t ask me to; I just wanted to so others would know about how much Fetz has helped me with this old house. Thank you for reading.
