Honest assessment of current furnace state, no aggressive upsell. Will definitely go back for future repairs and HVAC purchases.

We always have a great experience with the gentlemen at Dogtown Heating, Air, & Plumbing. My first concern is that I will be overpriced due to past experiences. We received a prior estimate for a faucet leak, and another company added unrealistic pricing and services unnecessarily. I however went with my instinct of not to go with the service. Dogtown advised there was nothing actually wrong at all, just to simply tighten the screw on the faucet, which saved us $550 in unnecessary fees. Our heating maintenance issue was fixed, and future recommendations giving with explanations. Our past experience was also with a kitchen sink leak was fixed expeditiously. I appreciate the honesty, professionalism, and on time service. No gimmicks or dishonest overpricing. People will pay for services when there is honesty and trust. Thank you Dylan, Josh and Matt (past service) for your work and putting the customer first.

We have used Dogtown since we purchased our home 3 years ago. They worked on our older furnace a few times when our control panel went out. We called them and response time was always same day. We just bought a house and when we first went to use our heat it wasnt working correctly and it was supposed to be under 30 degrees during the night. So we called Dogtown and seriously got the best service ever! We called on a Sunday morning and they came out right away. They figured out what was wrong with it and they gave us a time estimate of like 4 days because they had to order the part. They then called us Tuesday morning and told us they had the part and came out and fixed it! We will definitely call them again if we need work done! Thank you, Dogtown!!

Scheduled an appointment for a service call for our air conditioning unit. Matt came out and tried everything he could to get our external unit running and kept us updated every step of the way. Ultimately we need a new unit, but so grateful for their promptness to send someone out and the effort put into trying to make it work. Even set us up an appointment to get someone out quickly for a quote on a new unit. We will definitely be using them again.

Three weeks ago Dogtown installed our new HVAC system, the Lennox EL296UHV gas furnace, efficiency rating 96, the Lennox Elite XC20 air conditioner (SEER 20), with an Aprilaire whole-house humidifier and their smart thermostat. Within the first few days following the installation, all of us, my husband, our son, and I all noticed the house seemed more comfortable, with the heat more evenly distributed throughout, even though the thermostat setpoints were the same as our old system.My husband & I decided to replace our old system before it failed. I didnt want the old furnace to die during a polar vortex, when we would need to buy whichever furnace was in stock. We wanted a high-efficiency system for the environments sake, and a reliable one for our sake. We looked for a company with NATE certified technicians.We gathered three quotes. Two companies were represented by one of the owners, who were experienced installers; Jeremy from Dogtown was one of these. He was able to identify problems with our existing system, and describe the work he would do. (The description of the problems was echoed by the other companys co-owner). Dogtowns estimate was the middle one.The new equipment solved the problems. The installation required 6 hours; one of the workers had predicted 4-6 hours. Jeremy and his employees were knowledgeable (able to answer our questions), professional, and prompt. We would recommend Dogtown for anyone who needs HVAC work.Of course, we havent used the AC yet, and it will take time to figure out how the new system affects our bill. Our water usage will increase because we included the humidifier, but our home is more comfortable. After we turn on the AC, I plan to update this review.

Without a doubt: Technician Jeremy and the team from the Paxton area Dogtown delighted me. Now that the fairly involved job is complete, I can say that the entire team was conscientious. They worked hard, and they were thorough. They cleaned up their workspace each day. They wore foot coverings inside our house to protect our flooring.They were reliable, responsive, timely: They backed up appointments with texts and email messages. And wonder of wonders, someone always answered the phone. I think they are equipped to handle emergencies, too, although my job was not one.They are knowledgeable in their individual areas of expertise, which for my needs included: Revamp of a heating and AC system, furnace change-out, new AC unit, additional ductwork in a crawl space, tankless water heater, even the hook-up of a small ProCom heater that I picked up on Amazon. So, readily at hand, Dogtown has technicians, plumbers, electricians, installers, guys who do ductwork--also helpers and apprentices to help control labor costs. And I got top quality name-brand major appliances at decent prices.Its great to feel such surety and confidence with the results! They listen, they care, they respond quickly (even during this pandemic). These guys made a job--one I was reluctant to tackle--into an amiable, satisfying, (and learning) experience.I will not hesitate to recommend them--and have already done so. Ive had to use them a couple more times since then, and I wont use anyone else. Ive mostly interacted with Jeremy for the majority of service calls, and my experience has been that he is professional, reasonable, trustworthy, dependable, knowledgeable, efficient, and most of all, a good human being. As a woman who lives alone, it can be intimidating to have a stranger in your home for these kinds of things, but I felt comfortable and safe. Highly highly recommend.

We were looking for something locally owned and operated, and called Dogtown Heating when our furnace stopped working. Jordan came out on a Saturday to look at our failing furnace and was able to keep it running, and Jeremy came out on Sunday to help us pick out a replacement that fit our needs and budget. The furnace installation the following week was exactly as promised and the work was top notch. We also had DogTown replace a broken sump pump. Its great to find a local business that values customer service and charges fair prices. We highly recommend Dogtown!
