I compared several solar companies before I went with Saguaro Solar. All of the proposals were similar, however, Saguaro Solar spent more time with me explaining the proposal and letting me explore different options to understand the return on investment impacts. They were not a high pressure sales company and they perform the installation as promised. The time to produce clean energy was longer than they had anticipated at the start, but most of the delays were not in their control. Whenever I had a question, I could call their office and get a reasonable answer within 24 hours. I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

Saguaro Solar just completing a roof replacement, new AC unit installation , and Solar installation. They were absolutely fantastic. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, but they’re also very attentive to their customers. My husband and I weren’t the most informed people when it came to knowing how Solar Energy worked and the entire process of the installation. Noe Quijada, Ray Rabago, and team, made sure that we felt 100% confident with everything and that all of our questions were answered, before we agreed to anything. They were in NO WAY pushy or forceful with making sure we went with their company. 24 Hours Heating and Cooling worked with Saguaro Solar to do the installation of our AC Unit and they were equally as amazing. Mike and his team were so quick and responsive to any questions or concerns we may have had. This entire project was as extremely stressful for us to have to consider, but after talking with Noe, working with Saguaro Solar and 24 Hour Heating and Cooling, I can’t even put into works how happy we are with the outcome and how smoothly everything went. Would 100% recommend!!

We highly recommend Saguaro Roofing for all your roofing needs. We received exceptional service from the initial quote to the finished roof. The roofing team immediately came out and tarp’d our roof in preparation for future storms until the roof was fixed due to it being monsoon season. Each day when the team completed their workday, they made sure to clean up all areas and haul away all debris and trash. It was very nerve-racking trying to find a good reputable and trustworthy roofing company. Saguaro Roofing eased our worries. They did everything they said they would and with exceptional detail to care and service. 10/10

From getting information at the beginning of the project to the installation and customer service afterwards, everything has been perfect! Ann was so on top of things and was able to answer all of our questions before we decided to go through with solar. We got multiple quotes and Saguaro Solar charged nearly HALF of what other companies were quoting, and we got a huge system. The installation was quick and the team was so friendly. Even calling for our tax document was quick and easy! If you’re thinking of going solar, I 10/10 recommend going with Saguaro Solar!

After my original solar installer went bankrupt, Saguaro Solar picked up the ball and completed the work. They always arrived as promised and communicated progress well via email from Bethany. Luis Iracheta, the technician who worked on my project at different times, was always a pleasure to deal with. He explained everything he did, showed me how to turn on my system at the appropriate time and even had to troubleshoot an issue created by the previous installer. Even though they are in Tucson and Im north of Phoenix, Saguaro has always been quick to respond to my needs. Its a good company to do business with.

Saguaro solar was one of many solar companies that I talked to about solar panels. They were the only one that I felt comfortable talking to about purchasing solar panels, not like I was talking to a used car salesman with all the pressure tactics to sign now . They gave me a low price right off the bat and that was the final price. The power inverters and the Rec 400 watt solar panels , I believe, are currently the best you can buy. The timeline for getting the install was probably at least doubled because of permitting issues with the HOA and all the different entities you have to go through to get solar on your roof. I dont believe any of that had anything you do with Saguaro Solar and they did handle all the permit issues. They did have a large short shipment of panels which did affect us for several weeks to a month that was corrected in time to get the panels up this year. Saguaro solar has their own installation crews, unlike most of the other companies. Their crew that they sent out from Phoenix worked together as a very efficient team always being very polite and having good work ethics. They worked together so well, they had the panels up in less than a day. 39 panels and they did a beautiful job. I am extremely happy with their workmanship.

The folks at Saguaro Solar check all the boxes. They are friendly, professional, efficient, responsive and on time. There are many different folks with specific parts of the process to deal with so its bit difficult to keep them all straight but each one of them, from the initial sales person to the guy who came out to finish painting the conduits was polite, friendly and responsive. The job was finished on time with no glitches (the panels & controls were actually installed while we were out of the country) and the 8 panels are now producing 20 kWh per day of solar power. I would highly recommend Saguaro Solar for your solar project.

Heather and other staff responded quickly to all my emails. Zoe was helpful, showing me how the app worked, and putting back a potted plant moved during the install.

Our experience with Saguaro Solar could not have been better. Our sales rep, Ally Atwood, was knowledgeable, professional and patient in helping us size our system to our future needs. Their designers were able to adapt the system hardware to avoid a new service entrance and the install was prompt and fast. Saguaro distinguishes itself by service, followup and its warranty. The latter is based on panel production not minimum functionality. So if a panel is not producing its rated power, they will replace it. Ask about it.

From the first meeting with Bill Ellsworth, Engineering of my system, installation and as of yesterday the installing of the solar meter, then company has been very professional. They were able to provide a more powerful system for the same price as another local company. They also were able to move up my installation date by a few weeks due to me leaving town. Being local was an important part of my decision to go with Saguaro Solar.

Saguaro Solar was one of the most competitively priced solar installers in the Tucson area, and was willing to work with me to get the system I wanted and match any offers that came in from other companies. They also really seem to know what equipment is best for the customer’s needs. The installation of the panels and equipment was done very neatly and professionally. I also like that this is a locally owned company with the option to finance through a local credit union.I was a bit disappointed with communication at some stages of the process. When I initially got my quote the sales rep told me I could be turned on within 90 days. False. It took 6 months. Some of the delay was on the city- they are way understaffed in the permitting department, but I would have liked more explanation and notice as to why the process was taking longer than expected. Overall, I would recommend this company, but hope that they can slightly improve their communication.

When you purchase a home, you are also going to be buying electricity. Only when you choose solar do you get to choose who will help you pay less for that electricity. You will want to choose a company that carries a solid product, a knowledgeable team and all the needed contractors under one roof. Saguaro does not have to outsource the electrician, the inspectors, the installers ect. They are a team that has all the players to get the job done. If you are skeptical, if you are unclear, if you are just curious, if you have one or twenty questions call and ask for Ann Golseth with Saguaro Solar. Shes easy to talk with and works with a great team.

I requested bids from 3 companies. Saguaro Solar responded immediately with the most logical design by far, and the most intelligent answers to my questions. They responded to my request for a change--namely, adding 2 panels--without hesitation. The office staff took care of everything pertaining to my HOA, the city of Tucson, and TEP. The scheduler went out of her way to get me a timely installation.When it came to the actual installation, the workers were courteous and efficient. The 8 kw system was done in a day.Now for some extreme nitpicking concerning attention to detail: The conduit from the panels to the electrical boxes could have been better hidden from street view, although with some difficulty. It was, however, painted to match the house, which was not the case for others nearby. Also, it was necessary to replace a few roof times with ones that were not the best match. Those, too, could have been better hidden.All in all, I recommend Saguaro Solar highly. I cannot imagine having had a better overall experience with another company.JL

From the time Doug came to give my quote until the installation, I felt Saguaro Solar was a very good company. Always let me what was happening, always responsive to my questions. I did a lot of research before committing and I believe Saguaro not only gave me a good price, but was forthcoming in value vs cost which the other companies didnt. Also, no other company gave me the cash discount that Saguaro did. It took more panels to do the same job as other companies, but the cost per panel saved me thousands. Another company wanted to put 16 panels vs 26 panels, but for several thousand more. In fact, I actually got more production for far less money. Ive be producing for a month now, and Im producing exactly what we planned. I feel confident that Doug told me the truth, followed up on everything and Im very happy with the outcome.

First- this process has taken a while- that being said, my system was definitely not standard, and between covid, supply chain, and design changes due to TEP requirements, we have had a lot of challenges. The company has stood behind there word, has helped at every corner to get things correct, and to get a system that is working as described originally. It was definitely patience on my side and on the installers side. Not only would I recommend them, but we are starting to set up project number 2 on my office. This was definitely a 1 star experience, that was turned into 5 star with good project management and communication from Samantha. Would definitely recommend Saguaro solar, for any project you have.

When I purchased my home I had a bunch of different solar companies contact me at my door. Im a first time home buyer so I was excited to get solar. After hearing about 3 different companies pitches I decided to compare the costs. I found saguaro solar and gave them a call. I ended up getting Stephanie as my sales rep. From the start she was very nice and proffesional. She asked me questions about my house and got all the facts she needed. When she came back to me with a quote she layed it out flat and precise. The other companies were trying to throw in your tax credit to make it seem like you werent getting charged an arm and a leg. Stephanies quote beat them all and didnt have the tax credit included. I also like that they are local. Anytime I have a question Stephanie answers it. She is always nice and respectful. I compared companies and saguaro came out on top and Im happy with my choice and you will be also. In the event Stephanie wasnt available the other staff at saguaro solar were there and just as awesome. The process of getting solar was smooth and I was informed of every step by them so I always felt in the loop and never wondering what was next. Cant say enough about this small newer company. Found them by accident on google and wow. They took care of everything, i literally just signed papers via email and they did it all. Being in Florence Anthem we were kinda north but they are getting into the phx area to serve more area. A friend is using them next. Oh and they do the calculations for how much you need to produce so you do not get a utility bill. First experience with solar and couldnt be happier! They even have an app to monitor the solar and its production! And everything is warranty for 20yrs so why not!!!!P.s. Jordan was awesome to work with. Then the regional manager who im sorry to forget his name that lives near us, amazing and great communicator. And the install guys did an amazing job hiding the conduit and painting it to match the house!

Noe (the owner) came with Stephanie to provide us with a quote for our new home. We got way more than just a quote! I had no idea what to expect or how solar worked, nor did i fully understand all of the benefits of the different options. They narrowed it down to 2 for us, very simply! We will be making money 💰 with our solar panels, which we OWN (NO LEASE!) and they are also AMERICAN MADE! 🤟❤ I HIGHLY highly recommend this LOCAL solar company! These people live where they work! It matters!

We have had a very good experience with Saguaro Solar. We were provided with a detailed presentation by Stephanie for our home at the start. The process of plans, permits and installation went smoothly, along with the financing. The installation crew did a very professional job, including cleaning up all the little bits of wire insulation which normally gets left in the gravel. They also painted all the conduits with the colors of the house and the roof tiles. All the roof tiles that got broken were replaced without a problem. All the work was done by Saguaro Solar, there were no subcontractors. All the employees seemed happy and enjoy working for this company, which usually means they work hard and want to please you. We were told it would take about 3 months to completion, we turned our system on after only 2 months.Overall, we are very satisfied with Saguaro Solar and would recommend the to our family and friends.

Stephanie C was THE BEST! Right on time, extremely professional, and very very informative. She answered all my questions. She went over information in a way that made sense without making it seem like she was talking down to me. When I didnt understand she approached the answer from a different angle so I could understand. She had enough graphs for me to understand without being overwhelmed. I come from a corporate background and am very familiar with Death by Graphs. Did not happen here.Other solar companies acted like I wasnt there, or my questions were stupid or frivolous, and just talked to my husband. Not in this case. Stephanie acknowledged us both, and talked WITH us, not AT us. She was very patient with us and didnt try to rush us into a decision.She did not try to talk over us, or push us into a contract we werent ready for. There was no fast paced sales pitch. She wanted to make sure that we were comfortable with all the information, the prices, and the different packages. She LISTENED to me. She was extremely knowledgeable and had all the information with her. She did not once stammer or hesitate, or say she had to contact her boss. She was ON IT and had everything, all the answers. I never once felt pressured or pushed into a decision.My husband and I did need time to discuss this, and review the information, and figure out a budget. Stephanie never pushed us to sign on the spot. We did have one other company to talk to, and we told her this.Saguaro Solar got our business based on how Stephanie treated us as people. She was patient, and a very good listener and understood our concerns. She never rushed us, never once acted like we were wasting her time.She also tolerated my dogs, so extra bonus points!Seriously, THIS is the company to go with. I cannot say enough good things about Saguaro Solar. Our experience has been surprisingly excellent. We had heard many disaster stories about solar companies. From our first contact with Ann Golseth, our Energy Advisor, to our last contact, Zoe Watts, our Project Completion Specialist (and every body in between), Saguaro has been professional, extremely competent, honest and reliable. We knew this would be a long project. It didnt happen overnight. But Ann set our expectations realistically, and her response and follow-up were excellent. Every project has its glitches - especially one where you are coordinating with TEP. Our glitches were nominal and handled professionally and quickly. We were very close to signing with a competitor out of Phoenix. I am so glad we took the time to find a local solar company. Saguaro Solar receives an A+ from me.

I appreciated very much his technical expertise and willingness to try new things.- Dodgers Crew, who installed the solar panels, and worked diligently and very neatly, for an intricate project like ours- Donnie, who laid over 200 ft conduits and connected all the electrical wiring for the system w/ 2 EG batteries and Invertor, worked the most complex part of the installation.- Luis and Pablo, who did many aspects of the project and made sure all the labeling and cleanup was perfect. Not just perfect but PERFECT!- Doug, the owner, who came personally to the site.AND- Bethany the octopus behind the operations, the scheduler.
