Words cannot express my feelings about how great Axiom is. From the very first call to finishing the job, the entire team is absolutely stellar.We had waited for over a month after signing an estimate for another plumbing-sewer company to come and replace the sewer main in our old home. They canceled at the last minute and left us in a very bad place!When I called Axiom the staff (Emma and Rachael) got on it immediately and sent someone out THAT day and got us set up to do the job within a few days for even less money. The crew took great care with our landscaping (Thanks to Alex and his skill with plants and his two coworkers) and even helped put trees back after we cut down a few for this job. The owner Bruce even stopped by to check up on things. This day and age, finding service like this is rare. If I could give them 10 stars I would. We had our sink waterline replaced and tied into main sewer line. The crew worked very hard to make sure the yard was left in the same condition as when they started work. Actually they left it in a better condition than when they started. They even reseeded the lawn that had to be dug up to replace the pipes. They were so polite, both the outside workers as well as the inside plumbers. I would 100%recommend your company to anyone else needing work.

After 75 years, our Septic Tank had had enough! WOW, emergency!!! Called several services for estimates for connection to city sewer line. We were only flushing toilets 2x per day and all other gray water was going out to the garden. NOT FUN! Axiom sent someone out the next day. Another one sent an estimator out at about the same time. Axioms bid was significantly less than their competitor. Other contractors told me it would be at least a week before they could even send an estimator.Axiom was able to start a crew in less than a week, completed the work in 3 days and added nothing to the original estimate. We recommend them highly! We are now happy campers.

Axiom has provided me with good work, in a timely manner, and honest estimates. They have excellent communications and honest staff. Their prices are reasonable and competitive. As a real estate investor that owns and operates multiple vintage properties in downtown Portland, I have needed plumbing service on regular occasions. They have always been available and go above and beyond to help. I would recommend them 100%. No job is too big or too small for Axiom. Theyve replaced water heaters for me, fixed leaks, and even drilled down to replace water lines and sewers below the foundation.

Axiom repaired a sewer line and installed a backflow inhibitor on my line. My line is 11 feet deep where it connects to the city and the work required extra support to keep the hole from cave in. Axiom provided me with a competitive quote and a solution that was a bit more creative than their competitors. They arrived early, did the job and cleaned up the site when they were done. Im very happy with their work and professional behavior. I would hire again. Hopefully wont need to.

Axiom was prompt and communicative from start to finish for a major complicated sewer replacement on my 1913 house. Issues we had were iron and terracotta pipe, two bellies. We started experiencing signs the system was breaking down. The original pipe ran under the entire basement of the house requiring jack hammering flooring and driveway, rerouting the pipe out a different way down the driveway, and pouring concrete.Scheduling was easy and phone staff was helpful. Ian came to give us a bid. He was thorough and open to all the millions of questions we had. Alex was the supervisor we worked with during the next phase. His crew worked so hard with attention to detail, open to questions and it was obvious they all enjoyed each others company while doing so. Bruce the owner came by to check in with the staff more than once mid project. When I say Bruce came by he was not coming by to give lip service to a home owner he was there to check on his crew and I happened to catch him and he introduced himself.I would highly recommenced this company for their knowledge, professionalism and care for each other. I called about a follow up question and the phone staff scheduled Alex to stop by and check in. It is clear as a business they care about the well being of the employees they have.Due to the complicated nature of this job I got 5 bids. This and one other company were the two who were the easiest and more professional.

Ian came out inspect our flooded basement and ended up scoping pipes, inspecting fixtures, and helping me troubleshoot what the issue was. He then got me an appointment with a company that does the repairs we needed. He spent over an hour with me on this project and didn’t charge us for his time. I have saved Axiom’s number for future plumbing repairs on the houses I manage due to my experience with Ian. Interacting with him is a fantastic advertisement for Axiom!

They followed through on everything they said they would do. Axiom got my job done quickly and correctly. My home water main burst, and I hired them to drill in a new one. The soil conditions and other challenges made the job very difficult. Their team ended up working 16 hours straight to get my water back on. It was surreal to see them still having a good attitude at midnight after such a long day. Every person on the job was friendly, respectful, professional, and hard-working. Obviously I am impressed with their service, and would definitely hire them again in the future. We needed our large (50+ year old) driveway drain replaced during the dry season. Axiom was responsive at all phases of the process and were flexible enough to accommodate a multi-week family emergency that delayed the start time of the project. The 3-person work crew were great and clearly were quite experienced. The crew worked like a well-oiled machine -- during different phases they worked in choreographed fashion without needing verbal prompting from each other. Among the many tools and materials, the project involved a backhoe, shovels, jackhammers, rock, asphalt, pipe scope, replacement drain basin and grating, compactors, piping, etc. It was a big job to finish in a day --- they were friendly and hard working! During the process they clearly made an effort to minimize mess and their cleanup of the job site was good. Excellent work Axiom and Thank You.

We used Axiom for a septic > sewer upgrade. It was not a small job - 120ft + from the tank in the backyard to the sewer hookup in the street, much of it hand trenched. From start to finish everything was great. The estimate was competitive and accurate in spite of a couple of changes, and every person we interacted with from the estimate to the office to the on-site crew were communicative, professional and efficient. The level of accountability was unparalleled and when the job was done the areas around the tank and at the street look better than when they started. We will absolutely recommend and work with Axiom again.

It was interesting because we saw from estimates that Axiom was less expensive than the other folks we had come out to look at our job and we were worried it might be a case of you get what you pay for. When we went on line to check reviews we found several that pointed out that despite being less expensive, the work was outstanding, so we figured we would try them.Glad to say those reviews were right; The work was first rate, the people were professional and on time and the value was very, very good when you consider they are charging a reasonable rate for the great work they do.Great work, on time at a good price? Whats not to like!An easy 5 stars.

We had to connect to the city sewer this year when our 70-year old septic system finally failed. Due to slope and distance from the sewer line, it was necessary to either install pumps in the back yard or reverse the drains to the front of the house, which entailed jackhammering across a finished daylight basement.After considering several proposals, we opted to reverse the drains. Axiom presented us with the best price, and also the best plan, which would have the plumbing unavailable for only a couple of hours during the changeover to the new drains (it turned out to be under an hour!). They were also able to do the work within a week of accepting the proposal.Axioms team was fantastic. They were professional and pleasant, and did this extensive work in 3 days. After cleaning up and replacing some tile, you could not tell that a major construction operation had ever happened.We were very impressed, and highly recommend Axiom.

These guys were the best ever! They excavated under my driveway to repair the water main. They had their own plumber and the job cost less than a plumbing company I called first. When I realized that a plumbing company would have to hire an excavator it just made sense to hire an excavating company who had their own plumber as it cost A LOT less! But not only that, they stand behind their work. I am so impressed with how they care for their customers and do whats right if a mistake is made. I am super happy with them! I had used them before for a rental property when no one else knew how to fix the problem right and Axiom did a stellar job at a better price. All the employees are super nice too and a joy to have on my property, Clean up was awesome and they respond to issues in a timely manner. I highly recommend them for your excavating AND and plumbing needs that may require some excavation.

We had to decommission our Septic Tank and hook up to the City line. After having trouble scheduling other contractors, we received a recommendation to speak with Dan @ Axiom. We were immediately impressed with Dans eagerness to perform the job. Also got it scheduled in a very short time, and the office staff was great to work with! As soon as the project started, the crew was absolutely fantastic. They started on time each day, were communicative throughout the process, and the quality and speed of work were top notch. On top of that we had neighbors come over and comment how impressed they were with how clean they kept the jobsite. They went above and beyond each day to ensure we were satisfied with the work performed. Would highly recommend!

Excellent company. Very professional and polite from the estimator, office staff, project manager and work crews. On time, efficient, and wrapped up ahead of schedule on a complex project which included removing galvanized pipes, installing new PEX, rough-in for a new bathroom, brand new sewers and drain lines, Septic to sewer conversion which included trenching our front yard and opening the city street, and a brand new main water line from city meter into the house! Lots of work, decent price but can’t recommend enough!

Well I cant say enough good things about Axiom Plumbing. We recently had a new sewer line installed to hook up to the new man hole that was just put in at the back of our property. We live on 1/2 an acre and the line installed was over 120 feet in length.Due to the landscaping and it was decided that using a directional drill underground would be the best way to install the line. Alex and his crew were able to take big equipment and maneuver it in such a way, that the impact to the landscaping was minimal .Within a couple days the old septic system was decommissioned and our new line was up and running. The break in the sewer pipe was located under the foundation of the house and the connection to the septic tank was sagging. Bruce arrived with a large crew who were friendly and focused. They hung plastic sheeting, set protection board, and deployed jack hammers and excavators within minutes. They broke through the basement floor and drain flies billowed out like smoke. The crew took it in stride, vacuuming flies and removing bad soil. Driving off to work I admit I was nervous about what impact there would be on our family room and flower garden. I returned that evening and Axiom was just putting the finishing touches on a complicated repair. The garden was restored like new. Next morning the carpet was rolled over the concrete patch and tacked back in place. They even top-dressed our gravel drive with leftover crushed rock at no cost. I was struck by their professionalism; they seemed to enjoy the complexity of the job. I would call Axiom PDX again without hesitation. Great service at a price significantly less than the competition.

Bruce and his crew are some of the most professional people I have ever met. I got four bids before replacing my hundred year old sewer line and ultimately chose Axiom. Its a scary, expensive project but Axioms bid was very reasonable and their work was top notch. They gave me a brand new sewer line and returned my yard to its pre-excavation state. Bruce even gave me some advice on my bathroom renovation and recommended a gorgeous floor to ceiling tile solution. Highly recommended!

Dan came out to take a look at our storm water drainage from our gutters. We have had issues for years with a leak getting into the basement during high intensity, heavy rains. We have had other contractors come out and look, and they didnt seem to listen to our points on what was happening, and always immediately recommended the most expensive option.Dan came out and scoped the line, and within an hour realized the pipe to the main sewer were completely broken - storm water was dumping into the ground, right along the foundation where the leaks always occurred. He came back the next day and fixed the pipeline, and did a thorough check of the other drainage lines to be sure there would be no other issues. That evening - we had one of the rain events that would definitely cause leaking in the basement - and were so pleased to see it dry! And twice since!We are happy with his service, professionalism, and ability to listen to us and find/solve the problem very quickly. Absolutely recommend and will use him again if ever needed. I just wish we would have found Axiom 5 years ago.

He did not have to do that, but he went above and beyond, and that’s why we will always use Axiom.

During the inspection for the sale of our house a flat spot was located in our sewer line that required a fix for the sale to go through. We contacted 4 other sewer repair companies. Two never returned our call for a bid, so we went with the lower bid on the table. 2 days after signing the contract we had a change order in front of us for an additional $3000 in work, and the crew hadnt even been on site yet. I asked for an explanation and got radio silence.We cancelled that contract and reached out to Bruce and his team at Axiom. They completed the work in half the time quoted and for LESS than the amount quoted. Im sure that wont happen every day, but to have a contractor return money when the job cost less is a rare thing and speaks to the character of this business owner.Beyond the excellent turnaround and professional work, Bruce is a man of integrity and thats a rare and priceless quality these days. I cannot recommend Bruce at Axiom highly enough.
