Updated Review: July 2024We had some leaking due to the heavy storms in the area this season. Pombos stood by their work and resolved immediately. 10/10 you cannot go wrong with these guys.Original Review:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Pombo’s replaced our front porch screen enclosure and installed a large screen enclosure over our pool that’s being built.Their crew (Rayner & Eli) did an amazing job. We’ve had no fewer than 10 subcontractors involved with our pool build and this crew was by far the most professional & dedicated that we have worked with.They showed up early each day, stayed late on Friday night to get the job completed, cleaned up as they went, didn’t rush, checked in multiple times to make sure we were happy, and it was 100% evident they take pride in their work.The enclosure turned out absolutely gorgeous. We couldn’t be happier.I also attached a picture of the Billy bib (water spout hook up) because I couldn’t find one on their website, so perhaps it will be helpful to someone else! I recently had Pombos install a lanai screening with an insulated paneled roof and I couldnt be happier with the results. Josh, the design consultant, was knowledgeable and attentive, and his eye for design really made the project stand out. The installation team did an excellent job, and the insulated roof keeps the space cool and comfortable. I highly recommend Pombos for any lanai project. We are thrilled with our new panoramic screen room!Josh went over every detail and option with us right from the beginning - we had 3 other quotes and not one of those companies took the time to sit with us and explain options, build, materials, etc., plus they were all 8-10 months out!From contract commitment, to permit, to build completion, it was done in less than 2 months and we could not be happier with it. Being new to the area left us a little vulnerable thinking about finding reputableCompany to build our pool cage. Luckily our neighbor had a great experience with Pombo’s so we reached out to them. (We got 3 quotes total). They weren’t the cheapest or the most expensive. 100% worth the peace of mind knowing this was a creditable company. Jake was exceptional !!! A Pombo crew completed the first step in replacing my lanai by removing and replacing the gutter and downspouts. The supper gutter and downspouts are much bigger than what I originally had, so they will move a lot more water and debris. Very professional team.

Joey Pombo and his hard working crew built my wife and I a beautiful 2-story screen enclosure for my back yard. Joey handled everything from the footer required by Tampa City Code to the permitting process which requires engineering drawings, etc. Joey worked with us on a slightly complicated design because of our iPe hardwood deck — we didn’t want anything screwed into our deck. He also handled plan adjustments after the City of Tampa rejected the initial design due to height restrictions on the back wall. Pombo’s price was extremely competitive with other estimates we received for the work and he didn’t attempt to add cost based on additional work required due the complications mentioned above along with an unexpected tree root which greatly complicated the footer and required additional concrete and multiple visits from his concrete subcontractor. I would highly recommend Pombo’s Contracting for any screen enclosure.

Would highly recommend this company. From the preliminary estimate through completion they were wonderful to deal with. We had a more complex cage with a modern flat roof and they handled all the challenges really well. We spoke with many other companies and they were one of the few companies that wasnt afraid of the challenge and were priced very competitively. Cant recommend these guys enough!

My pool screen was torn and loosened along the bottom of the mega screen. Another company I called, and they had been the builders, were not contacting me. Terry was here as soon as he could and gave me an estimate and showed up when he said he would. Great customer service! Great job replacing my screen. It looks brand new! I would recommend Terry at Pombo construction and screens an A+ all around. Thanks again!!!

Awesome and awesome! We wanted to expand our patio and install screen enclosure on our back yard and my neighbor recommended Pombos. From the start to finish, it has been flawless, smooth, and excellent craftsmanship! During initial estimate, Josh explained every details on the work and answered all our questions. Then the estimate came out very competitive, and we decided to go for it. They communicated with us every step of the process and finished the enclosure without any delay in two days. Now we have a gorgeous patio! I highly recommend Pombos without any pause!

The workers performed their tasks in a professional manner and upon completion each day they cleaned up their work area. I couldn’t ask for better in the end result. This screen cage will be enjoyed by my family and friends for years to come. I highly recommend their quality services.

The entire process with Pombos was professional and excellent. I had multiple quotes, and Pombos was the only one that did not draw a enclosure by hand and just threw me a estimate. They gave me several options, typed out their quote, neat salesman, on-time and a real drawing.Then I went to their office to leave a deposit and seen a very well stocked organized warehouse that was in order. Inside their office was also clean, organized, and not the typical construction office you would expect.The crew came and installed my lanai quickly, and to my 100% satisfaction. They cleaned all their debris and were overall outstanding. I would happily use Pombos again and I do highly recommend then for a screen enclosure.

Amazing company to work with! Professional and does beautiful work. I hired Pombos after shopping around a project on my back patio to lay down travertine and install a screened enclosure. My house has a detached garage which made the design tricky. Joey Pombo came up with an incredible design and it turned out beautifully! Its been my most favorite Ive done to my house since I moved in. Its been up for several years now and it looks as good as new despite numerous storms including several hurricanes close to the Bay. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Excellent job by Joey’s team.They installed a new pool cage and really gave us good advice on what type of screen to get. I had contacted many companies but found Pombos to be most knowledgeable and affordable.Some of the workers accidentally stepped and broke our sprinkler heads and Joey sent out a guy to come and repair all of them at no cost. This was really very creditable. The workers are very hardworking and pleasant to interact with.We had a small tear in one of the screens about six months later and I just had to call Joey and he sent someone to repair it as soon as possible at no cost since we had a warranty on it.Really a pleasure to work with them.

I LOVE my screened in patio that Pombos Contracting Services built for us last year! It looks fabulous and it added a whole new dimension to our house and our living space. We have already had many family and friends get-togethers and everybody enjoys the outdoor space that is protected from rain and too much sun and mosquitoes!Not everything went 100% smooth on the construction but the people at Pombos are always responsive and do take care of things and it is a business one can trust.

We came across Pombos after obtaining several quotes from other companies when we wanted to replace our dilapidated screen room at the back of the house. Not only did I get a new screened room from them but I was able to get one with a freaking roof! (We were told by one company it couldnt be done). They handled everything including the required permit(s). YES they were also the cheapest AND the quality of work was A++ you will not be disappointed. Pombo’s Contracting Service originally did our screen enclosure for our pool and spa remodel. They were subcontracted through Patio Pools. This initial work was to the highest standard. The suggestions that they had were also very helpful. We ended up doing upgrades like panoramic views and pet proof screen. We were very happy with these upgrades.Also, recently we needed alterations made to the original screen enclosure. This had to do with an outdoor kitchen that we were finishing on the patio area. We had them replace some of the original screen with privacy screen and kick plates on the lower portions. It came out great.

I have to admit, I was a little brutal with the bidding process. In the end, I paid a slight premium to Pombo’s because they were the first to respond and last to call saying, “You will not regret choosing us.”My only issue was that due to this Covid craziness (permitting), their estimation was 12-14 weeks to complete the enclosure. They just finalized installation...within 8-weeks!The two crew members (Jose & Ronier) could NOT have been any nicer and cordial. And wow, talk about being experts at their craft. It was a demonstration of “unconscious competence”...I give them an A+.Don’t let a few nickels get in the way of you choosing Pombo’s. I’m open to providing a personal reference if need-be.Excellent job Pombo’s!

There are a lot of companies that does this type of work in Florida and for many reasons I decided to go with them after a long and protracted decision making process on what to get done what type of porch what type of enclosure.Despite the process seemingly taking forever I would say that they were incredibly accommodating and getting the job done the final finished product is very nice and their pricing was very competitive I would recommend them and or use them again for any future work.They had various teams come out and take care of each phase of the process if there were any minor mistakes or things that I did not like they fixed it immediately and they were very receptive cleaned up after themselves and did a great job all in all can’t find anything to complain about they did a great job!!

We wanted to add a sizable screened in patio / pool area for quite some time. We got many quotes and never really felt comfortable with the companies we asked. Then we found Pombos and something just felt right. Lee, the person we interacted with, was the most knowledgeable and honest of all the companies we had out.Then the crew showed up. Once the work began, we noticed how carefully they ensured a high quality finish. These guys really put a lot of effort to be sure the job was done right. When parts they had with them were slightly defective, the did not install them but rather went and got new parts. Every aspect of the job was really done well, including the clean-up at the end. The crew took a lot of pride in their work and it showed.sometimes it is hard to find the really good contractors - in this case, I feel we really did. Extremely happy customer and HIGHLY recommend!

That confidence by Freestyle proved to be well-founded since Pombo represented them well. Joey was very helpful and attentive to my expectations during and after the build.
