He has the eye of an artist, Is a perfectionist and has great design ideas. My kitchen reno came out so beautiful because of his ideas. Ritz Renovation did outstanding job renovating my basement. From the initial demolition to the final touches, they handled every step with professionalism and attention to detail.Team fully demo the entire basement and removed old materials and debris. Replaced some of the old plumbing and fully redone all the wiring. The entire floor got leveled out, added new vinyl flooring on top. Installed new stairs, new framing, ceiling, drywall, new windows, new recessed lights. You name it, they did it.Steve worked with me every time there were changes during the project. At one point I decided I wanted a fully functioning half bath. Steve said no problem and build me a half bath from ground up with new electric and new plumbing.Over all Im very satisfied with the renovation. Team worked very professionally and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day every time. Communication was solid through out the entire process and all my concerns were always addressed.Id definitely recommend Ritz for any type of renovations you might need. And I will hands down be using them again for my future projects.

Steve and his team were awesome! I had a bathroom remodel done. Steve worked within my budget in order to create a new, beautiful, updated bathroom. Steve did a great job in my home at a reasonable price and he was quick, clean and trustworthy. He painted, spackled and fixed holes, cracks and even fixed my large pantry cabinet in my kitchen. Every aspect of the various projects I had him do came out spectacular. Im selling my home and the buyers actually commented on how beautiful my ceilings were without me pointing out that they were recently a mess. Steve is very professional but also personable. When something looked different in the lighting at night that I didnt notice during the day, he came over the next night and made it perfect - no questions asked - just did the work needed! He even pointed out some of the extra things he touched up but insisted that I couldnt pay him more even though it made a nice difference near my staircase. The front door was repainted to a dark brown and it came out magnificent. Its actually hard to show you the work in pictures because it all came out so beautifully - the only picture that does any justice is my new front door!

Amazing Home Renovation Experience! I hired Ritz Renovation Inc to renovate my entire house from upside down. Steven is a very professional and knowledgeable GC, he was always present at the project and working himself arm to arm with his team. All my design ideas were made come true. Steven is doing his job with passion and putting all his heart and effort as if he would renovate the house for himself. He is very perfectionist and he checked the finished job not only at day-light but also at night-light to make sure that at every angle and light exposure everything is looking brilliant. The project was finished in the promised time frame, excellent clean-up after renovation finished, no odors inside the house. It was a big pleasure to work with Steven and I will definitely hire him again for any other projects. Highly recommend!

Steve was incredible, 1st off he came the day I called him. My bathtub was cracked and I needed it replaced. It was my only bathroom with a shower and Steve understood I needed it replaced as soon as possible. He started the next day and finshed a day early. He even worked on Saturday to get the job done in 2 days. He and his workers were professional and easy to work with. Steve gave us a price and that was the price. I will be using Steve for all my projects and repairs going forward and so should you.

Steve and his team renovated our kitchen and two bathrooms a year ago. We were very happy with the results. Recently, we realized that due to our kids splashing water in the bath, some of the water escaping the tub had caused the corner of the floor moulding to blacken. We called Steve to repair the work. At the end of it, the bathroom once again looked new. When I went to pay, he said there was no charge this time. I was extremely impressed with the quality of service. Thank you!

Ritz Renovations. Inc. is an awesome contractor. Steve and his crew were easy to work with, respectful of our home and did a phenomenal job. From the first meeting with Steve I knew going with his company was the best way to go. His knowledge and expertise were second to none. They arrived promptly every morning, cleaned up daily and met with us every evening to discuss what was done and the plan for the next day. He has no problem giving his advice when asked. We had wood floors installed throughout our second floor and had all bedrooms, kitchen and garage door painted as well as a new sink and dishwasher installed. He deserves more than 5 🌟!!!

We hired Steve and his team to renovate the kitchen and two bathrooms in our home at the same time. It was a large project, and I was looking for speed and quality, with cost being an important factor (but willing to pay for quality). During the search for a contractor, I priced out three contractors with 5-star reviews. Steves team beat the competition by about 10%. In addition, there were two things he brought to the project that particularly impressed me: (1) he was a great communicator. He was responsive and took the time to walk me through the steps of the project, mapping out which steps would take longer, where there might be pauses, and the steps I could take at each point to speed things up without feeling rushed. (2) He brought in a designer at no additional charge. The designer guided our purchases. While Im the type of person to get into details, there were a few things I would have missed. Ive worked with a number of contractors over the years, and Steves team is the first I would recommend without caveats and qualifications. He never asked me to post an online review, but Im posting this favorable review because Im truly appreciative of his work. Thanks Steve!

I don’t even know where to start. We had a big and very complicated project done by Steve @ The Ritz Renovation. The demo started on August 31 and the whole project took 2+ months to complete. Time wise it took exactly the amount of time Steve predicted. We had a complete second-floor overhaul. New and leveled sub-floor, hardwood floor, stairs, walls, ceiling, new kitchen, new appliances, spotlights, new tiles and toilet etc.Before we started this project, we went thru a few contractors trying to pick one for the job. When we met with Steve, we knew right away that’s our guy! The initial appointment was a breeze. Steve is very well organized, easy going and precise with the estimate. When you are like us, first time having renovations done at home, it’s very hard to find ‘all-in-one’ package, a contractor with a network of other professional needed to complete the job. Steve has a great network of professional that we needed. Kitchen guys, electricians, stairs, just to name a few. We’re happy with all of them. The end results are amazing!The Ritz Renovation (Steve and the crew) are amazing, courteous, honest professionals. Thru the whole duration of the project we never had a single argument or dispute.Steve is a person of great vision, who would go above and beyond to make you happy. Time flew by and I’m kind of feeling sad that I’m not going to see the guys anymore.If I’m having another project in the future, I would go with The Ritz Renovation without a second thought.Thank you guys!

Ritz Renovations did a flawless job on my home. A large section of my hardwood floor needed to be replaced do to a leak which was invisible to the naked eye. Of the 3 estimates I got, Steve gave me the Best and most cost effective way to fix the problem, without having to replace the floor throughout the entire room. Steve’s men found and repaired the leak and did an absolutely flawless job at replacing the section of hardwood floor in my bedroom within one day. I called him back the next week to paint and weatherproof the front exterior of my home and I was extremely satisfied with the end results of that, as well! I’m calling him back soon to build and extend a laundry closet. I recommend his service for such types of home renovations.

I hired Ritz Renovation for our basement remodel which included a custom bar and entertainment center buildout, mini kitchen, floor tiling, brick work and extensive plumbing and electrical needs. I HIGHLY recommend Steven and his team for any of your contracting needs. From our first meeting to plan the work, Steven came prepared not only with a detailed overview of his process and timeline, but also brought a great creative energy to help me think through all possibilities and get to a final vision for the project. Steven and his team are excellent craftsmen; not only precise and thorough with all pieces of the project, but respectful of my home and what was already there. They took great care to store and cover all my furniture to protect it from the work. While that seems like good common sense, I have worked with contractors who showed no interest in preserving the current space. Ritz is also very neat and kept the construction site clean as they moved from stage to stage. Steven does a great job of coordinating any subcontractors (all extremely qualified and excellent in their own right) and providing realistic timelines throughout the course of the project. He is meticulous and holds himself to a high standard of delivery and customer service. The resulting work is exactly what I had envisioned, and I could not be happier with how my basement turned out. The commitment to quality, excellence and over-delivery is what I expect in a contractor. If that is your standard, look no further, and hire Ritz Renovation for your next home project.

Steven and his crew from Ritz Renovation genuinely stand behind their brand. First off, Steven starts with a documented flow chart that defines his process from start to finish. He walks you through all the steps that it will take to get your project across the finish line and answers all your questions. Steven is then there, in person, every step of the way. As with any major renovation, there are bound to be some surprises. Steven is up front about any potential issues and he won’t nickel and dime you. If something doesn’t turn out right, he will take care of it without you even asking and goes above and beyond. Steven went as far as taking a 2 hour round trip to northern NJ to pick up materials for me. He and the crew take pride and ownership in what they do, the end result proves it. Steve and his team at Ritz Renovations is really top of the line. A few months ago he completed a gut renovation on the kitchen of my parent’s house. Because of the quality of the work, the job ended up expanding to other rooms and floors. Though busy with other projects, Steve was able to accommodate and expand as the job grew on the fly. He truly understands how to clearly communicate expectations and delivers on all counts.If you want someone who you can literally blindly trust and depend on as a contractor without micromanaging (which is incredibly rare) this is your guy. He is honest, communicative, and realistic about goals and possibilities. Also … his team and workspace is incredibly CLEAN and TIDY - which is huge when you are living where people are constructing. Every day they would clean before leaving. When there was a small confusion with wiring and light switches at the end of the job - he came back and fixed it without any issues or charge. He takes total pride in his work and I have no doubt you would be satisfied with his team too.10 stars.

I have two reviews, but have used Steve and Ritz on 4 separate projects,I found Steve (Ritz Contracting) through Yelp and was impressed by the reviews. Steve came to my house the same day I called him to give me an estimate (a fair estimate) and started the job on the exact day he said he would. Steve built a wall with a doorway for me and redid a door jam and entrance way. This also included all plastering, sanding, painting, and staining. Steve did the entire job in 2 days. He stayed until the work was 100% complete and even blended the new paint to match some of the old paint. I would recommend Ritz to anyone. I know I for one will be using them again in the near future..Project 2: I have used Steves services for the construction of walls, door frames, a kitchen makeover, and bathroom makeover. He was always accessible, knowledgeable, gave great input of ideas, and is reasonably priced. I would recommend Steve and Ritz Contracting to anyone, anytime!
