I researched and shopped and YouTubed electric vehicle charging options. There was not a clear path to a successful decision.I was looking for a quality EV charging solution, installed correctly, and in the event I had trouble, someone who would be there to solve a problem, if there was one. I have seen too often the finger pointing of blame - you bought the wrong part, we only install it, and so on. No, I was looking for someone who would own the installation start to finish.Most of my research would have me buy a EV charging product from Amazon, or Ford or Tesla, (etc.). Then, I would need to contract with an electrician to install it.There were many negative reviews on virtually every charging system out there. One example is there is a top selling brand of chargers that advertise high charging speeds, but physically cant be wired safely to deliver the advertised charging rate. Thats why I wanted an expert to not only install the system, I wanted them to provide it as well.Electric Smith was able to provide a top brand - Pulsar WallBox Plus and they installed it for $500 to $1000 less than the ballpark numbers that I used to form a budget. The charger worked perfectly from day one, and there was never an issue that needed to be solved - but if there was Im certain they would have been there to help.Thanks Electric Smith!Edit 6/25/2024How ironic that I had no more finished the original review (nearly two months after purchasing and installing the Wallbox charger) and posted it, that I would go out to the car and unplug it and have red error LEDs on the Wallbox charger.I could have called Electric Smith immediately and the end result would have been the same, but I thought I would try what I could to solve this without calling them out to look at itMy troubleshooting started with google searches and the Wallbox website. **Most importantly, It was not recommended to plug it back into the car.** I tried cycling power in various ways including overnight as well as some reset options in the Wallbox app. Did not solve it.Next, I called Wallbox support to see if they had a suggestion. They were able to see the Wallbox on the Internet and they tried power cycling and resetting to factory defaults. When that failed, they escalated the case to Wallbox engineers who quickly determined it needed to be replaced and a new one was shipped out within a couple of days.Meanwhile I contacted Electric Smith who offered to get a replacement from their local distribution and get someone out to swap it and handle the return on the back end. Had I been in a situation of needing this ASAP (I simply went back to my 110V mobile charger that came with the car and it kept me going.), we could have done it that way. Since I already had a replacement shipment coming, I decided to not have them replace it - rather I would wait for the replacement and call them to come and install it.The new unit arrived in just a couple of days - on the weekend. I emailed my Electric Smith rep and he got back to me on Monday. Late morning Tuesday I had a tech here to replace the unit.Wallbox sent me a return label and after updating my review, I am heading to the FED Ex drop off depot.In conclusion, I was was very happy before my unit stopped working correctly. But after this experience I am glad I made the choices I made. In every way Wallbox and Electric Smith were there for me when I needed them. What more can one ask?

Ive worked with Electric Smith on several residential projects for my home - most recently they installed a 220V outlet in my garage. They ran it up and over most of the garage and dropped it down into my preferred location. Very quick and clean job - always on time, and super pleasant to work with. Great people, great prices, great work = I highly recommend.

Electric Smith upgraded my 1921 3 floor home from 1921 standards to today’s code and everything has been working well. This was done about six years ago and everything has been perfect. They’ve also come out for some additional work since and each time the work has been done very well.

This company went above and beyond. My first electrician ended up bailing on me literally right before I was about to start a kitchen remodel. So naturally I panicked and called Electric Smith. They cae oit just two days later and saved the day! Everyone was so awesome to talk to and Tim and Taylor were amazing. They were on time amd got the job done quickly and correctly. Any questions we had they had answers to. And the best part yet is they quoted me WAY higher than what they actually ended up charging. From start to finish an excellent experience.

We have used Electric Smith in the past and every experience with them has been fantastic. We used them in May of this year after some remodel work went wrong and all power to my office was cut off. They got my office up and running in no time. They have been quick to respond to service calls and are always kind and cordial over the phone. They do excellent work that we can trust in, well definitely be giving them more business in the future.

This company is amazing! They really know their stuff! Brad showed up on time, I told him about 4 different issues we had in different parts of our restaurant, and he knocked it all out in 2 hours! On another occasion, we had a complicated wiring issue involving our hoods, fuse box and ansul system.... nobody could figure it out! Electric Smith did though! They got it all taken care of in a week! I definitely recommend this business!

I had another electrician do a project for me, and it that was a pain. He showed up late, if at all, walked in without knocking, and never explained anything. When my service panel started failing I decided to call someone else. I took a shot with companies I found online. My electricity was flashing on and off and the outages were getting longer and longer. I spoke with Dave at Electric Smith and he said he could get somebody out in the morning. Rob showed up the next day (exactly when he said that he would), and looked at my panel. He explained the problem, tried some simple fixes, gave me the options, and did it all openly and honestly (I teach physics and know enough electricity to know that he was not full of it). I asked them to replace the whole panel and Rob came back a couple of days later and took care of the whole thing. I really liked Robs work, his personality, and his openness about what he was doing. Electric Smith is now my first call, and it was refreshing to find a contractor that did what they said they would do when they said that they would do it.

Not sure what business model that will send someone out to do an estimate, and then not do the estimate, no further communication.I used them in the past and they were OK but cannot get them to return a callUpdate: I got a return call and we set up a time to do the work, I must say the guy they sent to do the estimate with the only one of three that seemed to know what he was talking about, maybe i was a little impatient when I did not get a quick response, all trades are a little overwhelmed right now.

We live in an older home and had a real problem with the electrical wiring. I called Electric Smith and they sent a highly qualified electrician out who had the problem fixed in very short order. I recommend them highly!
