NW Renewables installed a 7.6kW solar PV system (19 panels) and a Mitsubishi 5-zone ductless system in our home. Weve done a lot of home improvements over the years, and NW Renewables is hands down one of the best contractors we have ever worked with anywhere. Extremely knowledgeable and professional in planning out the project and determining the best options for our home. They took the time to design and size the systems right for a smooth installation and a successful project at the right cost. Construction crews were an absolute pleasure to work with and have in our home, and their meticulous attention to detail and quality workmanship were top notch. This was a complex project with wall units mounted on interior walls which required unique solutions and tricky installations of line sets, but NW Renewables pulled it off beyond what we ever thought was possible. The installations of both the PV and Ductless are beautiful, the system performance has been outstanding, and we are so happy. Cannot recommend them enough!

We recently purchased a home with solar panels but no online monitoring. When we began online monitoring we determined two of the panels were not in operation. The installation company was from across the state and not readily available to support. Northwest Renewables quickly and efficiently stepped in, provided troubleshooting expertise, and replacement components for the two panels.Their detailed onsite inspection determined there was significant rodent damage to the cables on many of the inverters and panels. The Northwest Renewables team, with Grant Neely in the lead, helped us to complete a full system inspection, replace compromised equipment, reinstall the cables so they were not directly on the roof, and even provided a rodent guard solution around the paneling. Throughout the process their expertise was invaluable and they managed the project to be as cost efficient as possible. Northwest Renewables, and their team of professionals, are truly experts in the solar installation field. We absolutely recommend NWR, they are amazing!

Northwest Renewables is the way to go if you are interested in solar power. This is a company that is knowledgeable and professional selling a product they truly believe in and stand behind.They started off with a customized solar power system proposal based on our roof size and sun exposure. They informed us of all rebates and incentives available to us. They estimated what our utility bill will look like with solar production. They answered all of our questions so that we knew exactly what we were getting into. The installation went smoothly and the crewmembers were professional, polite and fun to have around. Coordination with the electricians and Avista was polished. It was so exciting to flip the switch turning the system on and we still feel giddy everyday watching the meter turn backwards even on a cloudy day.We highly recommend Norhtwest Renewables.

No qualms in highly recommending NW Renewables. The team was professional, knowledgable, courteous and efficient, in both the design and in the installation phases of our roof top grid tied solar system. The on-line monitoring system needed to be updated (to 4G) to stay functional. After initially ordering it went on backorder (it was during COVID), eventually it did come in and an appointment was suggested to come fit it. But NW Renewables never came through on the appointment. I have not been able to monitor my system for ~2 years now....New update: NW Renewables saw the updated review and came and installed the cell upgrade within days. It seems the task had fallen through the cracks during COVID. There is a new person in charge of service and he was awesome - thanks Seth! Back to 5 stars....

After my solar installer went out of business, I was incredibly frustrated. The people who had sold me on a promise of taking care of everything; monitoring, replacing parts, handing warranty replacements, etc. were gone. As I started researching all of this myself, I came across Northwest Renewables. They were local, incredibly responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. They helped get my system back up and running quickly and for what I deemed was very reasonable pricing. On top of that, they even offered to help monitor and address any future issues. If you need help with your solar system, especially if your installer went bankrupt, I highly recommend them. Also, they are installing new systems which I wish they had put mine in. We had been considering solar for a number of years. Northwest Renewables was easy to work with from day one. From the initial inquiry I was impressed by the detailed, helpful and good communications. The emails, text and check-in phone calls were helpful and timely. Grant explained the entire process, pros and cons of having solar energy going forward. He answered all of our questions including potential financing. Grant walked us through the entire process while making sure that we understood everything. When I was unsure of the original design they worked with me to come up with an alternate solution. They installed high quality equipment. From the engineer to the installers and electricians, everyone has been helpful, informative and professional. The system is working well and performing as expected. Over all we are very happy with the installation. The communication that we had with Northwest Renewables was great, I felt like I was their top priority. They came out and talked us through all the options we had and answered all our questions. I never felt pressured to do a certain thing. They recommended some roofing companies too, who turned out great. Their work ethic on building our system was top notch. They did everything they said they would do and the end product is amazing. I also like the app that works with their system.

Northwest Renewables is a great company. My wife and I have been homeowners for at least 14 years, and in that time, we have had many renovations and mechanical upgrades. We have worked with quite a few different contractors; hands down, Northwest Renewables is the best company and crew weve ever worked with. Gavin and his team are complete professionals, upfront with costs. They commited to do a job that other companies were unwilling to attempt. William and Issac worked through the fires last August and September. This team was committed to our families well being during the pandemic. We appreciate their patience while working out the kinks with the units final installation and the upgrade to our electrical box. They installed 3 Mitsubishi mini ductless splits and upgraded our electrical box to handle the additional load. I am happy to report that this addition to our heating and cooling system has helped balance the houses temperature(s). We couldnt be more satisfied with the end product and service. If youre considering any solar, electrical, or mini-ductless splits, this is the company to go with. We waited to write a review until all the work was complete. We are delighted with the way everything turned out. My only wish is that we could use them for all of our future projects. Once again, we thank them for their patience, their professionalism, and their kindness.

We recently had a land mount solar array installed, along with replacement of the main service panel in anticipation of a backup generator setup.Dealing with Northwest Renewables has been a breath of fresh air, from inception to completion. From the first phone contact and throughout all the phases of preparation to the inspection and installment Grant and team were highly professional. Grant never failed to promptly answer all my questions and welcomed them at any point in the process. I was particularly impressed with their knowledge of solar components and all things solar through dedicated continuing education. I had one other bid, but N.W. Renewables was my hands down choice to provide top quality industry leading components and integrity in non-pushy sales, which were more like sharing their passion for solar technology. If that wasnt enough! Grant made sure that Avista was informed for their portion of the meter upgrade and install as well as a personal walk-through by him to educate us on our system and Solar Edge monitoring from my cell phone. For a local solar company they knock it out of the park!

All of the staff from design through to final completion were very responsive. It was easy to gather data for initial options--we were able to use plans and an aerial view. They provided a ground mount option that used 30% fewer panels than my adverse facing roof would require and lowered my trenching cost by using an existing underground conduit. The crew showed me an error made by builder that could have caused a fire that I fixed. The project lead regularly updated me on the project timeline. When a component was not available they made an adequate replacement and issued a refund for the sightly lower cost.

The staff and personnel at Northwest Renewables are among the most professional people I have ever worked with. From the initial consultation through the installation of my 28 solar panels, they showed a high degree of expertise, professional behavior, and consideration that made the process of installing solar panels a rewarding and enjoyable experience. When I received my first AVISTA bill after the panels were installed, the bill was reduced by 85% from the previous months amount. I paid only the base rate of $9.00, which reflected that most of the energy produced in that month was sent back to AVISTA. I could not recommend this company more highly! Really enjoyed working with Carson Brown (Sales Consultant)! Very professional. He and the team did a great job keeping us in the loop with time frames and installation. Only took 3-4 total days to complete for a large installation (32-panels)! Between Carson, Jared (Project Mgr) and Rachel (Office), all is wonderful. Am looking forward to having our new system provide us with NEARLY “$0.00” dollars paid out in electrical (actual might be around $9-10/mo). Plus, being able to use an App to watch the panels in real time and the energy it uses and exports for winter months (will see more of this next year for sure - after a nice sunny summer 2024). We just downsized and had a new home under construction in a new development on Spokane’s South Hill. We wanted to have the home wired for solar and other future needs (panels, electric car charging, batteries, etc). We contacted NWR and two other companies for bids. The bids were quite competitive, once we worked through our actual needs and ensured consistency on the products being quoted. NWR, and in particular Grant Neely, were responsive, competitive, and ultimately our choice for the job. It was done in two phases - pre-wiring for panels and meter, and any add-on’s; and then the final solar panel installation. Our roof would accommodate 14 panels (it’s small), but the offset for our electric costs is significant, particularly in the spring - summer months. The system has performed consistent with the projections, and we feel that we are contributing to clean and renewable energy production. It should be something we should all do if at all possible. We can either pay the costs now, or pay the price later! We are extremely satisfied, and will be repeat and likely long term customers. Even though our electric prices are low, it just makes sense to maximize our generation of clean renewable energy, and reduce any future reliance on fossil fuel.Northwest Renewables is professional, timely, and an exceptional choice for our solar needs.
