Our experience with Ameriwest Electric Corp. has been amazingly positive. From the initial bid with Jim to the final walkthrough with David our generator installation experience went smoothly and was very enjoyable. The Ameriwest team is competent in trade, professional in attitude, organized in procedure, and adaptable to customer requests. They kept us informed throughout each stage of the process and made sure we were comfortable using our new backup power system before they left; going as far as leaving a personal contact number should questions arise. In summary we can say that out of 5 bids we requested we chose the very best and we got the very best. We now have a 22kw Generac automatic standby generator that were confident will keep our home functioning well during power outages for many years to come. We give our most sincere recommendation for generator installation to Ameriwest Electric Corp.. Thank you Ameriwest for a job well done.

I had contacted AmeriWest to install a 240V EV charger outlet in my garage. They were responsive and able to do an estimate over facetime which I thought was awesome. Due to the limitations of that kind of estimate the type of panel was missed and when they came out for the install didnt have what they needed to complete the job. They had to reschedule and come back another time. They came back, and Darren, the Electrician completed the install and was very friendly and helpful. Overall, in the end the job got done, was professional, and communication was very good. I would go back to them again for more work. Thanks Kara and Darren.

AmeriWest Electric is AWESOME! We had another company tell us we needed an entire new electric panel & it would cost over $7000 dollars. I called & spoke with Jim (the owner). He had me send pics of my panel & spoke with me for about 20 minutes. Levi came out the very next day & advised that we only needed a new circuit. They saved us over $5600!! Great experience. Not only in the cost savings but, they were extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and I would refer them to anyone. They are the best!!!

Jim was easy to work with. He came for a free estimate to run power to my new sauna. Gave me a timeframe of when his crew would show up and he beat it. James who came was nice and walked me through what he was doing and was very knowledgeable. I asked for an additional outlet extension to install a future garage heater and they were flexible enough to add it the same day. I’d recommend Ameriwest and the team to anyone.

Great experience! I have used Ameriwest Electric on two different occasions, and they have been very helpful, friendly, and professional. They were out to find and fix a few electrical issues I was having at my 2 homes and were able to fix them in a short amount of time. They are very responsive and will try and get out to you as soon as possible! I would highly recommend Ameriwest for all of your electrical needs! They will be my first call!

Cant rate AmeriWest high enough!AmeriWest is now my go to for electrical work, and have already recommended them to my close friends and family.We recently were going through a remodel in which the electrical company we were using for the 1st half of our remodel was hit or miss on showing up for 6 months, leaving us hanging for other jobs. By the time they got back to us, the original quote had doubled and they said they would get back to us on scheduling. We reached out to Jim, and he showed up the next morning to review completing our electrical. Not only was he professional, personable, and genuine, but he presented us with a solution that was less than the original bid of the previous electrical company. Furthermore, his team was out within 2 business days working on our project, and had it completed 2 days later. They were just like Jim, professional, easy to talk to, and walked us through any questions we had without complaint.If I have any other electrical items (including future solar plans), I will only be using AmeriWest.

I spent some time searching for a company that could install a solar system that was local and I could work with. Jim was great from the start. He has no qualms about discussing the system and answering questions as well and listening to ideas and requests. Not only did Jim do all the planing and design, he was also here for most of the installation. He and his crew were professional and curtious and did great work. AmeriWest has been our go to Electrical company for years! We were first referred to them during a kitchen remodel. I have to say, that the service and the above and beyond workmanship that they provided have kept us coming back over the years. We now use them for both our residential and commercial needs. I have zero hesitation referring friends and family to AmeriWest - I know they will always deliver! Its rare to be able to count on a Yes, Can Do When do you need us response from service providers these days. My experience has been that the prices are fair, and the service is excellent! The owner Jim is very personal, and is dedicated to ensuring he and his employees provide the type of results and service that create Raving Fans! Highly recommend!

AmeriWest Electric was one of only two electrical contractors in the area that I found who also installed solar systems. Most of the solar firms I contacted seemed more concerned with selling loan contracts than they were with the actual solar. Notably, at least three of my neighbors who had traditional solar firms install their systems still do not have a production meter from Avista months after the install. Everyone I dealt with at AmeriWest was friendly and professional and proud of their finished work. I will certainly consider AmeriWest in the future if I need electrical work. I give them five stars with one caveat; the homeowner needs to keep track of what future work needs to be completed and give AmeriWest nudges to get the work completed. Pretty typical for a small, growing company.

The two professionals that came out we very friendly, informative, and respectful of our home. Truly went above and beyond to make sure our home is safe and efficient. Levi & Brent were fantastic! We got all of our interior lights upgraded from fluorescent tubes to new LED fixtures. Levi and Brent got the job done quickly and efficiently, with minimal disruption. I would definitely recommend AmeriWest Electric for any electrical work you need done at your business!

I am co-owner of Legacy Farm and Stable in Loon Lake. We are a commercial stable and give lesson all year, no matter the weather. We keep 30-40 horses. at all times. Some are boarders but the majority work in our lessons program. So we have a lot of people coming and going and a lot of young people coming after school, which in the winter means REALLY DARK. We had some serious lighting issues in a number of areas. So we called on Jim Zupkus to solve our problems. The results are fantastic! The new LEDs in the grooming and saddling area are beautiful. Our students can see to groom the horses, to keep the areas clean and the better lighting also enhances safety. Storage areas were also a challenge. It is extremely refreshing to be able to FIND STUFF and then to see the shelves and put items away correctly. Outdoor lighting allows students to handle the horses safely, to be able to go into the paddocks and halter the horse they want without complications. Then once the horse is tacked up, they have to get to the big arena safely. Just a few strategically placed Wall Pack LED lights made such a huge difference. We discussed the locations but Jim and his crewmen placed them in locations that light up a huge amount of area. Not only are the students comfortable now with being able to see as they travel around the property, but the staff no longer needs head lamps to feed and to do chores. Thank you so much Jim and Crew!! You have made a huge difference on the whole property! We are eternally grateful!

10/10 - Would recommendDoing some home renovations and hired AmeriWest to come switch out several light fixtures and install a ceiling fan. The electrician was super friendly and knowledgeable, he did the job quickly and everything looked perfect when he was finished. Pricing was competitive and the experience was top notch, no need to go anywhere else!
