I needed assistance with a faulty toilet shut off valve and a review of our homes water pressure. Philip, the plumber who came out, did such a fantastic job that we invited him back to replace all our water shut-off valves with sturdy 1/4 inch ball type ones. Our water pressure had constantly been below 40 lbs, preventing us from using two showers simultaneously. Philip discovered a damaged PRV and promptly replaced it, however, our pressure still remained at 45 psi. He advised us to check the pressure at our property with the local council, which turned out to be over 130. Armed with this knowledge, Philip returned with Eric, his manager, and Colin, another plumber. They excavated the area around our water meter and found out that a second PRV had been installed at the street by the previous builders. I was surprised as this had not been identified when we bought the house new. The team at Adam & Sons Plumbers replaced the hidden PRV valve, reconfigured our water main to a more logical layout, and eliminated the redundant PRV in our garage. After three hours of laborious work by the three-man team, they astonishingly didnt charge us any extra fees. Their honesty and ethics truly shone through.
