Mighty House Construction is the best. They worked with us to do a full kitchen and bath remodel and connecting the upstairs to downstairs to create a more open layout. We had a bit of a tricky old house, but they transformed, brightened, and modernized it in a really thoughtful and environmentally friendly way. After the remodel, our home was featured on the Seattle Green Home Tour. Mighty House is responsive, creative, and really committed to green home design and renovation. They are also really nice people and fun to work with. We cannot recommend them enough!

We worked with Mighty House to remodel our kitchen and had a fantastic experience throughout. Our kitchen was completed in July of 2023. They are extremely professional, kind and managed the project well. Remodels are typically extremely stressful, but working with Mighty House made the whole process quite easy. They gave us recommendations for a designer and we worked together to come up with a plan. They provided great ideas and suggestions along the way. Once the project started everything was seamless even with a few change orders. They use project management software that provides an app to the client which really daylights the back end operations. We could see what was getting accomplished each day. We were able to stay in our home and the project site was kept clean and tidy. I highly recommend them and look forward to reaching out to them for future projects. We couldn’t be more pleased!

We used Mighty House for a variety of projects around our house (including our infrared ceiling panels which we LOVE!), and theyve always been courteous, responsive, and great quality of work. They give back to the community in many different ways, and clearly give a damn about their work, the environment, and their community. They listen to our needs and provide suggestions for additional things to consider or if something we were thinking doesnt quite make sense. Theyre quick to complete a project and transparent with their pricing. We highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

We trust their skill and integrity, highly recommend them and would gladly work with them again.Doug and Laura are responsive communicators, pleasant to work with, professional and capable, clear around budget. They delivered high-quality workmanship, and they gave us multiple good, creative ideas that led to structural/design elements we are really happy with.For numerous decisions over a period of months, they provided key info and perspectives around different factors – functional, environmental, aesthetic, budgetary – and then were totally on board to proceed based on our priorities. It was a good process, a good outcome, and we’re very glad we worked with Mighty House.

Mighty House helped us on three occasions. In 2015, returning to WA state, they helped make our vintage 1962 home livable. They replaced the water lines, including to the street, redid flooring and got us a new electrical box.Later that year when the bathrooms failed, they recommended a design company to work with, and they reconfigured the main floor bathrooms (master and hall), and finished the back part of the basement which included framing rooms, and putting in a bathroom.Not long after the bathroom/basement project we replaced the front entry door which Doug did himself.We had planned a kitchen remodel with them but Covid interfered and retirement and a relocation came earlier than expected.I would not hesitate to recommend Laura and Doug and the rest of the Mighty House crew to anyone. Laura is incredibly good at communication, and I was always informed about what was happening, what decisions needed to be made and the pros and cons. Mighty House is also experienced at green construction and has excellent advice at how to renew your home while keeping the environmental impact in mind.Doug and Laura and their team do quality work, keep you informed, and are genuinely a pleasure to work with.

We used Mighty House for a kitchen remodel in our 1912 home. We were somewhat budget conscious and Mighty House helped us figure out ways to re-use/re-purpose/re-arrange some of the existing kitchen cabinets while adding in some new complimentary ones. The overall result was a beautifully modernized kitchen with increased functionality and storage. Doug, Laura and the entire crew were fantastic to work with --- we would definitely call on them again for a future project!

I am a home inspector and trades person. I work around many, many general contractors. I value Mighty House for their attention to detail and deep knowledge especially around green building strategies. I inspected one of their large projects and found a perfect result. It was beautiful, green and super functional. As I remodel my own house, I called them for their knowledge and support.

I relied on Mighty House for a number of home renovations over the last decade - they are my hands down go-to for thinking through and executing beautiful, functional, economical home improvements that match my sustainability value set. From a full on kitchen renovation to reconfiguring a storage area (read: magically creating space where I thought it wasn’t possible), they were thoughtful, creative, and professional throughout. I will definitely continue to rely on Mighty House for home improvement needs on the future!

Mighty House has done a variety of projects for us, and we keep coming back. They remodeled our en suite bathroom, and its now our favorite room in the house. We trust them. They are experts at what they do: offering sound advice, showing up when expected, communicating clearly, and demonstrating quality workmanship, no matter the size of the project. And everything is clean when theyre finished!

Mighty House was great! We used them twice -- once for a kitchen remodel and once for a fuller house remodel. Why? 1 -- On time. 2 --On budget. 3 -- VERY responsive to our questions (and in a really easygoing way). 4 -- Creative problem-solvers. Doug figured a solution to a somewhat thorny issue in the bathroom that seemed to be pretty perfect. 5 -- Caring. They ran into one unexpected issue with a beam that our architects hadnt planned for, and they couldnt give us what we wanted. It was absolutely not their fault, but they just seemed to be SO disappointed that there was not a financially reasonable way to address it. They were more distressed about it than we were, to be honest. 6 -- Gave great suggestions! They didnt try to push us in ways that we didnt want, but gave us their ideas when we asked. We really appreciated their eye and perspective throughout the project. The fact that we used them twice should be an indicator of how highly we thought of them. Fantastic all the way around.

Laura and Doug are wonderful people to work with.When I needed a new garage, their bid came in most affordable. They helped me include second use materials for ecological and financial benefits. I wanted some rather unusual details for a garage. Doug came up with ingenious ways to build what I wanted. The result is practical, unique and attractive.
