    We contacted SPS about painting two rooms in our house. They were very quick to respond and scheduling a time for a quote. The quote was competitive with other quotes we got and Connor was great at explaining the breakdown of the work and what to expect. Scheduling was a breeze, they were very communicative the entire way and actually ended up starting the project early.Alejandro, Tatiana and Marco did a fantastic job on both rooms!     Being one who enjoys a good DIY project, I was out of my league when it came to painting our kitchen cabinets. We wanted to say good-bye to all the grey and opted for a shade of green to update our lower cabinets. From start to finish, we had a 5 star experience with the team at Sound Painting Solutions. The end result exceeded expectations and proved my instincts to be right … some things should be left to the pros!     We hired Sound Painting to paint most of our home’s interior, prior to selling it. They were listed as one of the best painting firms on Yelp. Have to say, I agree! Jeff came out to look at the house, provided us with a detailed quote that was in line with what we wanted to spend, and the job was scheduled — all within a week. A three-person crew arrived the following week, and these folks know what they’re doing. They masked carefully and made sure our belongings were well protected. Most of the painting was done while we were out of town, but they did a fantastic job. It looks so much better than it did, and they even were able to do some carpentry and fix a hole in our wall. They took great care in their work. A little later, I hired them again to paint a couple of areas that were not included in the first quote, and again, they did wonderful work. I recommend them for any painting job, exterior or interior.

    Sound Painting Solutions just finished painting my 100 year old craftsman style house, which has its orginal 100 year old cedar shakes. I am very happy with the result. The company was professional from start to finish, from the initial bid to the final clean up. A carpenter came in March, just as scheduled, and did some much needed work to prepare the house for the paint job. The paint crew showed up on the scheduled day in July. I met Gary, the foreman and we did a walk through of what to expect. The temperature was over 90 for most of the week, and the painters managed to complete the job as scheduled..it took about 8 or 9 days. The house has high dormers and is three stories on one side, so it was a challenge. Gary followed through on a regular basis, and took care of any problems that came up. When the original double hung windows were painted shut, he made sure they all opened before they left the job. Ive lived in my house for 50 years, and this is the third time its been painted; probably the last in my lifetime. The company was a pleasure to work with, and I especially commend the painting crew for their thoughtfulness and thoroughness.

    We obtained 2 estimates before deciding on Sound Painting Solutions. Everything was so professional and friendly throughout the whole project. After removing vertical mirrors from one wall, the finished product wasnt quite what we expected. A simple email with a photo resulted in a quickly scheduled follow-up. Were very happy with the final result.I know its coming into a typically busy time of year for painters, but the Sound Painting Solutions team is very responsive and eager to please. I would call them again and recommend them to anyone!

    We recently had Sound Painting return to our home for another project, this time for more wallpaper and more painting.Their team was on time, professional and efficient. They understood exactly what work I was looking to have done and were flexible in working with me on some changes made mid-project.The quality of their work is very professional and the wallpaper was seamless (picture below) and the cut-outs were as close to perfection as I’ve seen (picture below). They were able to complete a painting project, which included some light carpentry work several months ahead of schedule because of a rare window of dry weather in the fall, and I was incredibly appreciative of their ability to be flexible and nimble and complete the project before the arrival of winter. Great crew, personable and even helped redirect us when we thought we should use flat paint on our living room walls (spoiler alert, you shouldnt!)We also pulled an audible on the very last day to use navy instead of light blue on our walls and they were totally cool about it.     We had never used a painting company in Seattle before, and we are so so glad that we chose Sound Painting for our Interior painting project!Connor was amazing when he first came out to give us our estimate and even gave us great approaches that we had not thought about in regards to our painting project. The process was very smooth and seamless. Connor came out and gave us an estimate on a Monday and started our project on a Friday when we initially we were told it would be late May/Early June. We were so grateful that they could start that early! They make everything seamless and the picking paint/color process was not stressful at all due to the way that they do it. They definitely put your mind at ease about hiring them as your painter.Matt (the team lead) and all of the team members that painted our home were excellent. They paid attention to detail, and did precise work. Any issue that we noticed that we were not satisfied with, they quickly adjusted it to our standards. They were all very nice and always on time. In the process, they lost one of our light switch covers, but Gary, the field supervisor, quickly replaced it for us without a problem.We had some touch ups that needed to be done after our job was complete and Gary and Ethan came out to make sure everything was done and that we were fully satisfied. We are 100% completely satisfied with Sound Painting Solutions. They are a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Their customer service and quality craftsmanship is superior. I would HIGHLY recommend Sound Painting Solutions for any of your painting needs.

    When we noticed some water damage around some windows late in the year, Sound Painting was able to schedule us in and handle both the carpentry and painting. Two of their carpenters came out and did a great job fixing the damage. We noted to them that the windows likely had water pooling on them due to their orientation, and they were able to take steps to help prevent that in the future. The painter that came out also did a great job. He had a good eye for painting the fixed windows so that they matched the existing ones. Overall, we were very satisfied with the work.

They make good use of online services, including payment. The work was high quality and really freshened up our house.     I had James and Garett from Sound Painting Solutions out to stain a brand new built-in, and they did a phenomenal job, even applying a good wood conditioner prior to the stain and two coats of varnish. It was a great deal of work, considering the bench opens, as well as the cabinets. In total there were 20 shelves that needed to be stained. They were able to do everything in three days, which both amazed and delighted our family. We needed the job done during a very specific time period and they were able to accommodate us.I would highly recommend Sound Painting Solutions! In fact, I plan on having them return to work on our deck this summer!

    I am most impressed with the high quality job Sound Painting Solutions did on my house. My project was smallish but detailed - with many windows and celling beams to cut in around.     Jeff showed up right on time for the interior painting estimate, it was very clear and reasonably priced. The crew showed up on time and did a great job. Alejandro, the crew chief went above and beyond, filling a hole in wallboard that was not part of the painting job, and cleaning paint off door jambs that we had left when we had painted previously.     We had a very good experience with Sound Painting. They were not the cheapest estimate, (other places we had concerns about, estimators that rescheduled a few times, or were late, slow to deliver estimate, etc) but Sound Painting arrived on time to every date, did what they said they would do, and finished on time. They fixed any issues noticed, even to tiny single dots of over spray, or even repainting one small area we had miscommunication on color on. All the workers were kind, polite and professional. They really wanted everything to be perfect. The quality looks very good. No messes left, extra care was taken to make sure no paint landed on landscaping, concrete, or decking. Would recommend.

Every part of the process was smooth and easy - from scheduling the estimate on through the completion of the project.     We recently had them repaint all the interior walls and trim in a rental space of ours. Everyone I worked with was fabulous and super communicative.     Connor came out to provide me with an estimate but wasn’t sure if they could do exactly what was needed (the house siding had separated from the window frame), but said he’d talk to his carpentry team. Sure enough, they provided a solution. John came out and did excellent repair work installing and sealing/caulking around the frame, which definitely resolved the issue. I was initially concerned because it was, I considered, a small job, but they resolved it at a reasonable price.I’ll definitely use their services again.

    This is the second time we’ve used Sound Painting Solutions and the second time was better as we knew what to expect and set our expectations clearly. They met our expectations and are the most professional team I’ve used. This project had up to 6 people working at once and the lead was always very good at coordinating, dealing with any issues and making sure things were done to expectations. We added a few curveballs and added scope and they efficiently worked through those and when an unexpected curveball came they worked that with no complaints or issues. This company is very good for a hands off experience with high quality. Certainly not the cheapest but I feel the value was good. Higher price but also very professional and did exactly what they said they would do.I plan to use them again.Also, their electronic system to quote, bid, deposit, and pay invoices is very efficient and even takes Apple Pay so the effort as the customer is super low. They do all the heavy lifting.My one recommendation is to be very specific on exactly what you want and how much you want for wall touch up, caulking, or any of the detail work and if you ask for it you’ll get what you want.

    Update: April 2019 We had to have some repair work done and asked Sound Painting Solutions to fix the paint damage we had and touch up some other projects. They gave us a bid and we agreed. When the painter showed up, he felt some of the work should be under warrantee from their previous work and they reduced our bill by 35%. Again, they may be the most expensive at first glance but they are still the best value.Sound Painting Solutions offers extraordinary value even though their bid was the highest we looked at. They provided us twice the allotment of journeyman and apprentice painters hours other bidders offered at a 30-25% increase in cost. They repaired defects we had for decades and produced a new house finish in a 40 year old home and kept the time we were displaced to a minimum. They met or exceeded the specs on their bid, using up to 4 coats to get the finish they wanted even though they only promised 2. They removed wallpaper and refinished walls expertly. They did not stop until they got it right. The job site was visited regularly by 2 levels of supervisors, each searching proactively for problems and responding to our concerns. Everybody we worked with was rapidly responsive and effective. The work ethic at all levels we encountered was something I would recommend without reservation. We particularly enjoyed Gary, Kevin, Michael, Elizabeth, Todd, Matt, Zack, Cory and Jeff.

    I was very happy with the Sound Painting Solutions experience we had. It was an interior job that lasted two days. They arrived when they said they would, left when they said they would and were thorough. We live in an old house and had some holes that needed patching and some areas that needed sanding but we did not want the cost of fully repairing the walls. Im sure this can be a hard request since people are often unhappy but unlike some other companies who said they would need to do a lot more work on the walls to get them even, Sound Painting Solutions agreed to patch and paint and not try to get us to add a bunch of wall retexturing.     This is the second time I’ve used Sound painting solutions, first time for my salon in 2013, and this past week for my garage exterior. Again I cannot be more happy with the quality of work this company provides. My salon which takes a beating- washing walls weekly, even daily hasn’t had a single problem with paint loss or fading, 7 years later.The large garage they painted for me turned out even better than I expected.     Sound Painting painted our hallway and stairwell that previously had wallpaper. They did a quality job of making sure we couldn’t tell wallpaper had ever been there.     These guys do high quality work! Sound Painting Solutions did an INCREDIBLE job on the exterior of our house. All of the guys were super nice and everyone clearly has been trained to paint carefully and with attention to detail. Not to mention the customer service is top notch. I appreciated that they offer a walk through at the end of the job so you can have them touch up any small spots (and also to be sure youre 100% happy with their work).There were a few small spots that we noticed needed touching up a few days after they were through and they didnt give us any push back - they sent someone out immediately to take care of it, and kept reiterating that they wanted us to be thrilled with their work.     After receiving four bids, we selected Sound Painting Solutions to repaint our 3-story home’s exterior and couldn’t be happier with our choice...will definitely use them in the future for any additional painting needs.Connor, who provided the estimate, was knowledgeable, responsive to our questions and up-front about the lead time and how long the work would take. The office/scheduling team was proactive as the approximate start date approached (we were scheduled two months out) and kept us informed on when the pressure washing and painters would start.Finally (and most importantly), the painting team was fantastic - friendly, hard-working and strong attention to detail. Victor was the team leader and our primary point of contact - he asked questions to confirm our preferences, made suggestions/recommendations as needed, and kept us updated as to what they would be working on the next day. The worksite was always cleaned up at the end of each day and they covered the neighbors fence and car (after asking them) if there was a chance of overspray. Victor was onsite every day and came by the day after the painting was complete to walk around the house with us to identify any spots that were missed or needed touch up and stayed until the work was finished.Our newly repainted home looks great and we definitely recommend SPS for any painting projects.

    We werent sure about using a painting company to do a carpentry project (deck resurfacing) but we are so glad we chose SPS. Connor was prompt about answering questions. Their master carpenter, Hernan is amazing. He spent days prepping the surface to ensure that the deck was perfectly level and designing the layout. It came together beautifully.The only hitch was that we did have to hire another company to reattach gas lines through the deck. Understandable that they dont do gas piping. Jeff, the owner was awesome about being flexible and working with us to resolve the gas piping issue. I would hire them again for a carpentry project. We are looking to repaint the house and we would definitely consider them first.

He had some nitpicks (which they have fixed up without complaint), but was overall really impressed with the workmanship quality and cleanliness of the job site.* When the architects trim color scheme (which I should have tested before painting) looked pretty yucky on our house, Jeff walked through our options and helped us find small tweaks we could make that made a world of difference. To the best of my knowledge, he did not charge us anything for the fact that he had to repaint our (thank-god no longer purple) door and a few other areas white -- due to my own error. Instead, he made sure I got a house we would be happy coming home to.* They set an ambitious schedule (7-8 days for a whole repaint of a newly reconstructed house, with lots of additional work) -- and got it done in 6.* When we had follow-up issues (our mailbox wasnt closing right after the painting, etc) -- Jeff just came back and fixed it. No argument, no debating whether it was their problem.My favorite Jeff reaction to an e-mail about fixing some stain that may have been caused by his company or by our other contractors was (paraphrased), Im honestly not sure whether we created the problem or not. I dont think we did. But were just going to fix it for you anyway -- thatll make things easiest for you.I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Quality workmanship, on time, exceeds high expectations, really responsive and professional. Id definitely bring these people back without a moments hesitation.

    I recently contracted SPS to stain my 3700 sq ft, tri-level, cedar shingle sided house and a small shed and paint all of the trim. SPS is a highly professional crew you can trust with your home. They show up on time. They do want they say they will do. Pricing is fair. I was kept informed every step of the way. The estimate and scheduling was quick although expect some lead time for the work. Both the onsite crew led by James and Jeff, the owner, periodically checked with me on satisfaction with the work. When there was a rain delay at a job prior to mine, they worked with me to work around another contractor I had doing work on the roof that I could not reschedule. Their online contracting and payment tools made working with them a breeze. These guys know their stuff and customer service. They also took safety seriously and masked up when appropriate both for C19 and vapors. Now if only my company was that responsive. Use them. You wont regret it.

    Loved working with these folks! Very responsive and friendly. When I had a concern of the work area not being cleaned up properly after I had my outdoor area professionally cleaned, they had someone come back to clean up the area. I get so many compliments on the work that has been done to my deck. I will definitely use them again in the future!

    Four units in our condo complex hired Sound Painting to paint the vinyl and metal conduit that ran along the outside of our building from the installation of mini-split AC units. They were knowledgeable about the special primer needed for the vinyl when painted dark colors and exposed long term to afternoon sun. They came right on time the scheduled day and completed on time the second day. The job was done professionally and looks good!

    Jeff and his crew painted the interior of a house we recently bought. It was an older home that needed an update. We were working with a number of contractors, including plaster repair, and Jeff worked seamlessly with the other contractors, even modifying his schedule to fit us in when our timeline changed. The painting looks great, and they took the time to do a final walkthrough with us and fix all of our nitpicky requests. We would work with them again next time we need any painting done!

    Courteous, crackerjack and quick! The reason you hire pros to do your work. The master bedroom of our rental property was plagued by the stench and tar of the previous tenants renewed smoking habit. Taken together with other issues, it was a daunting task undertake, but the funk was basted and busted by these folks, giving me peace of mind in tackling the rest of the houses maintenance needs. After a friendly free estimate and confirmation, the work began immediately and in a matter of hours they had the room primed, painted and pristine. The rate is only slightly higher than other estimates but it allows for full-time, non-contract workers and was worth the promptness and professionalism put in. Id highly recommend them for your painting project.

    We had two separate projects with them - a carpentry work (replacing front door step wood treads with Trex) and a exterior paint work (repainting fences and railings, and staining wood decks). The estimator, Connor, was knowledgable and honest about what should be done and what we dont need. The carpenter, Hernan, was careful in matching new treads with existing parts and other details. Eliazar and his painting crew kept worksites clean, worked with our landscapers when our plants were in their way, making sure to loop us in when needed. Also, Kirsta made sure all the scheduling pieces worked for us, as well as following up if we were happy. They all did quality work, and they were all polite, professional, and always on time. Working with them was a great experience!

    It was a pleasure working with SPS on our home painting project. They were prompt and flexible from quote stage through the painting and repair of some plaster in our house interior.
