After receiving 3 bids I went with QA Painting and Carpentry to paint the exterior of my home. I knew they were not going to be the cheapest but I was hoping they were the best and I wasn’t disappointed! Edwin and his crew which included Francisco, were always on time and hard working with excellent attention to detail. What I really appreciated was how much they loved what they do and that they take pride in their work. I will definitely hire them again for future jobs.

We couldn’t be happier with the results of our drywall rebuild project with Queen Anne Painting and Carpentry—specifically with Edwin’s meticulous and beautiful work! We had water damage that took out some walls and ceiling in our utility and linen closets as well as the adjacent hallway. Edwin did a fantastic job with every aspect of our project from the drywall, to insulation, to painting and carpentry to reinstall the closet shelving. The walls look even better than they did originally. Edwin went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and it shows! He clearly communicated where he was in the project and what to expect the following day. And the project was finished right on time. Overall, working with this company was a very positive experience and we absolutely recommend them for high quality work and top notch people!

I recommend Queen Annes work to anyone who wants professional and amazingly good looking work. Ray was amazing, very communicative and precise. He will explain all what he would do and how he would do it, as well as asking for what we wished to have done. Juan was extremely detailed on his work and dilligent. His work was amazing and he would ask us to come and check to see if he was delivering what we wanted. Amazing both of them and the furniture that we wanted built is gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️ If I could I would give more stars and I will hire them again for any future proyects.

We had a great experience with Queen Anne Painting. Our 1906 home was washed and scraped. Problem siding and other issues were repaired. Painting was done carefully. The three color job took almost a month and the work was done neatly and well. Kudos to Jon, Edgar, Abel, Josh and others for a job well done. We will certainly use Queen Anne again. Our house looks wonderful.

Very happy with the work Queen Anne Painting did for us, which included sanding and painting our living room millwork and walls in a high gloss finish. The process was straightforward and transparent from start to end. Everyone I dealt with, from Vita who came out and put together the initial bid, to the painting crew led by Brian - they were all friendly, communicative, accommodating of last minute changes, and very professional. The crew arrived on time every day and made sure to keep us apprised throughout the process, including an evening text detailing what was done that day and the next day’s agenda. The project supervisor stopped by every few days to check quality and progress, and happily directed a follow up crew to complete finishing touch ups. Overall, a great experience. They were not the cheapest bid, but Queen Anne Painting’s reputation is what it is for a reason.

We hired Queen Anne Painting to paint the exterior of our home and to repair some areas of wood rot that needed to be addressed. Jennifer Carpenter did our initial walkthrough and bid and from that day forward, she was always extremely fast, friendly, and helpful in responding to any questions we had going into the project.Francisco was our main carpenter and his thoughtful solutions created enough wiggle room in both our schedule and our budget that we were able to have QAP do some additional repairs for us.Louis and Gabriel were our painting crew and I can’t say enough good things about these two. They were always punctual, friendly, helpful, and thorough. Their prep work was very detail oriented and they made sure to keep our property clean and tidy at the end of each day. Our historic home in West Seattle has very thick cedar shake that is full of nooks and crannies and Louis and Gabriel really took the time to make sure that nothing had been missed. These guys are really talented painters, but also just genuinely good people and it was a pleasure to work with them.We’ve received so many compliments from neighbors and strangers alike. We would absolutely hire QAP again and would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends.

Had a wonderful experience working with Queen Anne Painting. We needed to have the interior walls of our house repainted. Vita was extremely professional and timely with regards to the initial consultation/quote. They ended up offering the most reasonable price compared to the other companies we were getting quotes from. The painting crew led by Yeferson Oliva did a fantastic job patching up numerous holes in the walls and made the walls look brand new! He was professional and communicative and gave me periodic updates on the progress of our project. The project was completed on time as expected. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

Queen Anne Painting and Carpentry recently completed painting my 96 year old house over a two-week period. The crew was excellent - courteous, hard-working, thorough, and communicative. The job was well-organized and efficient throughout. We quickly identified the appropriate Benjamin Moore paints and colors, and the team went to work. The house was thoroughly pressure washed and painted according to schedule. Having stressful experiences with previous painters over the years starting and stopping work, I very much appreciated this! Because of the spraying techniques I initially had some reservations that some details were overlooked or rushed, but found that the crew addressed these as part of their process as they continued. Overall, the house looks great, and I feel good about the work and selecting this contractor. They went well out of their way to address any issues that popped up. I recommend them.

Just wrapped up a 2-week exterior home paint job with Queen Anne Painting and Carpentry. Brian, our lead painter and Javier, his right hand man did an incredible job, getting every detail right, done on time, and the result is amazing. Home looks brand new! The project management was good, all commitments were fully met, and Queen Anne Painting is very easy to work with. Their carpentry services came in handy to address some dry rot issues (typical in most paint jobs). Can’t say enough about the hard work and excellence of Brian and Javier. Make it easy on yourself, use these guys to paint your home and save all the headaches.

These folks did a great job installing new baseboard in our laundry room and touching up peeling paint throughout our apartment. Francisco did excellent work installing the baseboard. After having our 1930’s house re-wired we hired QA Painting and Carpentry to repair the numerous areas in the walls and ceiling where drywall and plaster had been removed. Luis did an excellent job repairing the areas including matching many different, interesting wall textures. The work was completed efficiently and our home and furniture was well-protected during the process. Our house was cleaned after each work day, which made living in a work zone tolerable. Communication was great and I always knew what the next steps were.

We have used Queen Anne Painting for multiple projects and they are simply the best. (interior, exterior painting, drywall, and carpentry) Bruce has been our project manager for two jobs. First, a large scale exterior painting job this summer, that involved much detail and care. He and his crew were professional, on time, responsive, and respectful. He talked me through everything they were doing and constantly checked in. There was a heat wave at the time, and he was thoughtful about the well being of his crew and making sure my family was OK. He is very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations to how best paint intricate trim, railings and garage door.Second, a smaller scale interior paint job that ended today. Bruce went above and beyond and the project turned out amazing. He checked in with me, sent photos and videos, and also made sure house was clean and all extra paint labeled well.I cannot say enough good things about his professionalism and work ethic. If you use Queen Anne Painting, request Bruce as your project manager, not only is he wonderful with people, my dog adores him!

This was the second time Queen Anne has painted our house. Both times the experience was fantastic. This time we had installed new windows and had hired Queen Anne to paint the outside thinking that my wife and I would patch and paint around the new windows inside. However the patching needed was over our heads and Simon, the project manager arranged, at the last moment, to do the inside patch work and painting as part of the original job. I cant say enough about how great it was to work with Simon. Everyone on the job was professional and courteous to work with and Simon went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were satisfied with the end result.

Estimate appointment set promptly and on time, job scheduled within our hoped-for expectations. Good, frank advice from the owner walking the job to keep the of scope the job within the outcome we wanted (ie., kept us from over doing it). Color match good. Estimate promptly produced and owner worked with us to stay within under budget range. Workers cleaned up every day, very courteous and meticulous on quality, even doing 2 extra coats on 60’ + of wood railings (that really sucked up the fresh paint) - he felt they needed more coats - no charge to me

We highly regard the expertise of Queen Anne Painting & Carpentry and have benefitted from their fine work on our old, stucco house over a few decades. Recently, they performed magic on a small and complex project that included painting as well as removing: a built in desk, wall paper, and a large glued-on bulletin board. After skim-coating a pretty gnarly looking wall and painting, the wall looks flawless and the room looks new.Not only was the workmanship performed meticulously, everyone was very professional and punctual. I had a great experience with Queen Anne Painting from Doug the owner to the painters and office staff - everyone was such a joy to work with and very friendly and professional. Additionally, the interior paint work on our entire home was second to none. After Dougs spot on quote, the painters were on time and efficient each day. The painters took great care of our home, from taking down our artwork on the walls and covering furniture to leaving a clean work space each day. The end result was beautiful. Queen Anne Painting did an excellent job of painting the inside trim of new window installations in January. Doing so immediately after installation was necessary to preserve the window warranties. From evaluating the job through completion, they did an excellent job. The painter onsite was a pleasure to work with and did a great job.They painted our master bathroom also, and did a great job. They matched the paints we wanted, did excellent preparation, competed the job as promised, and we hardly knew they were here will they were working. Looks great!

We had Queen Anne Painting come out to repair our water-damaged front stairs and back porch railing. The carpentry work was top-notch and improved some structural issues so that we won’t have as much risk of water damage going forward. The painting was speedy and also high quality. When a mistake happened, it was quickly and fully repaired. We were very happy with the work and will certainly use Queen Anne again in the future.

Jose arrived at my condo with a positive attitude and completed the job in the time allotted and for the price he quoted. We had our entire house (minus some masonry) painted by Queen Anne in 2015. I had never seen such smooth, thick coats of paint put on a house before. As of 2019 the job still looks great. We had them back last week (2019) to paint the masonry, and again, the job is beautiful. Doug Wold (the owner) knows his paint, knows his color, comes to the job site in person and is a thoroughly helpful guy.In short, the management, office staff and painters are: friendly, professional, expert at their craft, very helpful with suggestions on color and materials, prompt, communicative, thorough in their prep, meticulous in their clean-up. I recommend them without reservation.

After a long ordeal to get a repair done through another company, I was SO happy that Queen Anne Paint not only was available to perform the last step to fully complete the repairs (the painting), but could also do it quickly. Unlike other companies that give a wide window of time to get the work done, Queen Anne Paint arrived EXACTLY at the time they told me they would and performed the job in as much time as it takes for paint to dry (which is obviously something they cant control). So happy I found them!

Doug and the team were a pleasure to work with. We called them just before moving into a new home to explore painting a few rooms. In the end we ended up painting nearly all the rooms! Doug was very helpful and patient with us and spent the better part of a morning walking through the home and helping us pick out colors on the spot. They had availability in their schedule and were able to get a majority of the painting done even before moving in which was a pleasant surprise!The crews did an excellent job, and had to work through some tough spots; they ended up sanding and re-painting a bathroom 3 times! Really appreciated the emphasis on getting the job done right. The experience was very positive end to end and I would happily work with them again.

Carpentry and painting.I was happy to see they would do carpentry work along with the painting.Having one company to oversee and communicate with made the process easier, especially since this was done during Covid-19 and we have a 10 month-old daughter in the house.Cory Ready gave the initial bid; he was very easy to work with, looked at all the areas and explained what would happen and kept us in the loop. Jon (main painter on site) and Duane (main carpenter on site) were very professional and had great solutions in tricky areas. Shelby Dennis has been in touch for follow-up.The bid initially gave me sticker shock, but we had the money saved and their work is guaranteed. With house prices the way they are around the Seattle area, it’s doubtful we’ll move anytime soon so knowing the work will last is important to me.I highly recommend Queen Anne Painting for work you really value.

We have gone to them for about ten years now for all interior and exterior work we have needed done, involving two different homes, plus all kinds of carpentry work as well. Hired QAP to patch and prime many holes and cutouts in my walls and ceilings after electricians rewired our house. Doug is a fantastic planner and estimator. Overall it was a great job but there were a few things that werent right. First, our front door did not come out well. Its cured for 4 weeks and burnishes. Previous burnishes did not come off with damp soft cloth as Victor said it would. The door also needed some caulking and other repair the inside of the edge of the door is white but with the door color slopped on to it. Because of the burnishing, the front outside edge of the door is all burnished and chipped and does not look good. Very unhappy with this scenario. also could not get the color we wanted from Benjamin Moore. My husband called Victor this morning about door and has not heard back from him. Second, two employees were having a noisy discussion near me. It was senseless and a waste of valuable painting time. Shouldnt do that in front of a home owner.

My experience with Queen Anne Painting has been stellar! From the first day to the last these folks were superb in every way. This was an extremely challenging job to say the least, involving massivedry rot and the residing of the entire south side and part of the west side of my houseboat, and building me a brand new deck all the way around!Michael and Jacob as the project managers were marvelous with explaining everything thoroughly and keeping be abreast of all the details.The carpentry crew including Josh and Juan were very skilled and delightful to work with. The painting crew were the best I’ve ever had, with Jose as the supervisor, Javier as the crew lead and Isaias as part of the crew. Not only did they handle everything about the project beautifully, but they also dealt very well with an extremely problematic neighbor who caused all of us a lot of headaches!I would recommend them unreservedly and I will most definitely will be calling them for future projects! This company was referred by a friend that was very happy with their experience so we trusted Queen Anne Paintings reputation feeling it was worth the extra expense.We liked how professional they were and that they communicated well. We picked them because they had a carpentry division and we wanted our chimney box repaired if necessary. It turned out that we didnt need to have much done. The prep work on the house didnt come out as well as I anticipated but when I alerted them about why I was unhappy they did agree to come back and do a better job.I was disappointed that the salesman promised things that didnt happen.It was very important to me that they follow the paint manufacturers guidelines when applying the paint. Instead, they painted in 100 degree weather and didnt wait the full 4 hours before re-coating. Fortunately, it doesnt look like there are any flaws in the paint coating due to shortened cure time. The company only gives a warranty when they use low-luster paint instead of flat paint and I was shocked to see how shiny our house looks now. The paint color was matched perfectly and the Benjamin Moore paint will hopefully last 15 years and not fade. Or so we were told. So overall it was one of the best paint experiences we have had and I would recommend them.

Their work is exceptional.An important note: Queen Anne will not offer the lowest bid on your job. They will, however, earn every penny and will save you a lot of headache in the process. They also pay their staff well, including great benefits - resulting in painters and carpenters who have been with the firm for 10+ yrs, which instills confidence when you have a team in your house for multiple weeks.My full upstairs reno in a 100+ year old home was not easy and required a lot of carpentry expertise, as well as painting acumen. Queen Anne Painting are the only painters I will ever use.
