I engaged RotoRooter a month ago for assistance with a toilet/shower/sink clog across three bathrooms. I was told that RR would come out again if the issue reoccured within 90days. A month later the same issue started again. This time the technician was David Soto who was excellent. He identified the root cause, explained and showed me what was happening. He then corrected the problem. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and competent. I’m very satisfied with his service. I gave 4 stars because I had to have RR come back in such a short period of time.

David from Roto-Rooter was the man! I had called another company earlier in the day to snake the drain line to unclog the toilet! Well, the other company was a huge let down couldn’t come out that day!, found that out after calling a second time at 5:15pm! David was here within an hour, of talking to him! He camered the line, but couldn’t see anything from all the years of sludge build up! So, he jetted the line and wow the sludge came out! Ran water in the line and now you could see a broken pipe on the monitor! David was very knowledgeable and a huge help! So happy I called Roto-Rooter! Only wish it was my first call! We had a new refrigerator delivered and installed, but the existing water pipe was not compatible with the new fridge. We called Rotor Rooter on Monday morning, and they arrived in the afternoon.A bit pricey for the work that was done, but we got same-day service that was done right.Gio and his associate cleared out two clogged up drains, and then returned the next day with the correct valve to connect the old hookup to the new fridge. He made sure it was done right! And everything works perfectly now.

Unfortunately I was having issues with sewage backing up in my shower and the toilets not wanting to drain. I called 10 places before I was able to find someone to come service my property and fortunately that was Roto-Rooter of Sarasota. I called around 1pm and they said due to scheduling they probably wouldnt be able to come out until later that night. I said no problem, as long as it was addressed today.I received a call around 3pm stating they would be able to get someone out in the next 30 minutes and Nick showed up at 3:30. He asked me about the problems that we were experiencing and immediately had an idea about what was going on. He ended up using a camera on my main line going to the septic tank and we saw that the line was cast iron, rusted up and was not flowing properly.We talked over the options and decided to try to clear it out. He had to run and go grab a special pressure washer to try to clear out the pipes. Long story short, he was at it for 2 hours and we both realized he wasnt making much progress due to the nature of the line. He ran a camera again and thoroughly explained the concern.We then decided to ultimately replace the cast iron line with PVC as at that point we were just putting a band-aid on a problem by continuing to wash out the cast iron line. Nick ended up calling out Luke to come give him a hand digging up the old line.They ended up cleaning out the line and installing two clean outs to help with any issues down the road. Nick then ran a camera through the house up to the first toilet to help show we were good to go.I really did appreciate the professionalism from both Nick and Luke. They both were experienced and had a great work ethic. This was my grandfathers house and we just recently lost him. My mother was very stressed out about the whole ordeal but fortunately these gentlemen solved this problem and walked us through the entire process. They understood the stress my mother was going through and reassured her that this problem would be solved.Nick and Luke will be the only individuals I work with from now on. They were excellent professionals and I will be recommending them to everyone.

Evaluatorwould have arrived on time if it were not for the dispatchers incorrect address spelling. After arriving, the Lead surveyed the water heater and gave me several options. Since the unit was 20 years old, I opted to replace it. The estimated cost was reasonable and time was 3-4 hours from leaving to purchase unit and install... Time.. 3.35 hours.Lead was courteous, informative, and respectful. I very much appreciated his expert suggestions while allowing me to make final decisions. Great Job!!

Great response and service. Came Sunday for emergency service for a rental property. The tenants couldnt use either toilet. Noah was thorough and professional. He found the issue and resolved it. Within hours of the call, my tenants had a working drainage system.Being a remote landlord, this type of service make it possible for me to be away for extended periods of time. Thank you Noah and Roto-Rooter!

The drain going from our Washer was clogged. Noah showed up the same day and tried using a snake tool with no success. He almost broke the tool! We discussed several options which included opening walls to maybe even digging through the concrete floor. We do not generally have crawl spaces or basements in Florida so it is almost impossible to figure out what is going on behind walls and floors. As a first step and least expensive option, he suggested running a snake through the roof vent instead. He also recommended replacing some 50-60 year old pipes up to the main cast iron sewer line in the wall. The old pipe had multiple bends in it and only had a diameter of 1-1/2 inches. Although there were no guarantees, he figured that since everything else in the house worked, the probability of the main sewer line being broken is low. A few hours later, a lot of precautionary testing, and digging out two different parts of tools that other plumbers left behind, it worked!!! Noah was extremely patient, professional, knowledgeable, and willing to work with difficult situations (including tight budgets and cranky people). I cant say enough about him. He is a major asset to his company and I hope they plan to keep him around for a long time!

Highly recommend. Amazing service. 5 starts all around. This is our first time using Roto Rooter. Our toilets were backing up into showers/tub (super yuck) & called for service late afternoon Saturday and they were able to send out a technician first thing Sunday morning. Wasnt sure if they serviced North Port but was routed to the correct franchise. Gio was the tech that came out and he was amazing. 5 stars for Gio too! He explained everything he was doing, even showed me the images on the fancy machine that showed the view of the camera attached to the hose he was sending down the septic pipes. Gio was super professional and personable. He recommended we get a septic pipe flush from a septic company & switch our toilet paper and go with a 2 ply that dissolves better and isnt as rich and thick. I could see exactly what he talking about as he showed me the images of mounds of tiolet paper clogging the pipe. Payment was super easy with a tap of my card, emailed receipt and Gio mentioned I will get a follow up email with the overall diagnostic & recommendations. All around wonderful services from the first phone through payment. We really appreciate the excellent service. THANK YOU!

Not long after we purchased a house, we started to have problems with the drain system. It was so bad that we couldn’t use the washer or the kitchen sink because the water was backing up in one of the bathroom’s shower and toilet. We called the local Roto-Rooter Plumbing service and made an appointment. Steve showed up and tried to took care of the problem, but it was a tough job. He came back next day, did an awesome job unclogging the drain, checked the pipe with camera and replacing the old drain access with a new one. Thank you again!

Thank you so much Nick and Giovanni! I had no idea what my plumbing issue was I just knew I had a problem. Nick paid attention to my random “symptoms” as if it were a telehealth call. Looking back his phone call was just a schedule an appointment ...his patience was incredible and honestly, set the tone for my expectations resolving what turned out to be a blocked sewer drain.He told me fixing it would not be a problem and that it could be fixed a few different ways, explained that to me. (Everything I have put down my toilet is now running through my mind 😨) The extra 30 seconds he spent listening to me, created the opportunity to MANAGE EXPECTATIONS!! I felt like a client not a customer at the end of that phone call.Giovanni followed up, ALREADY knowing all the details regarding the job professionally and the customer service could include watching me cry. 😬I left a sewage issue having a good experience… I wasn’t just happy it was over, I couldn’t believe how nice and respectful they were. I couldn’t quit singing the praises on the phone and they wouldn’t except the compliment they kept telling me it was just part of the job. Had been having drain problems for a couple of years with toilets backing up and clogged sinks and shower. The plumbing company I used for years would come out and repair the problem only for it to return again and again. I then called Roto-Rooter. They sent out their tech, Woody. He was awesome. He was able to camera the drain lines and find the issue and repair. It is not inexpensive but when I think of the money Ive spent the last couple of years it was well worth it and no more issues!!

We had an upstairs bathroom needed by 5 people, including guests clog at night and an attempted repair by my husband result in the need to bring in an expert. Our call was answered promptly and David Hansbury, our technician, showed up early the next morning and was very gracious in acknowledging my husbands attempted repair and resolved everything quickly, efficiently and far more economically than anticipated after having to make an after hours request for service. We live in an old house and repairs arent always easy or reasonably priced and we felt well taken care of wont hesitate to utilize Roto-Rooter for any future services.

I cant remember the gentlemans name that came out but all 3 of our toilets were seriously clogged, and 2 of them over flooded many times. He came out bright and early and did the job but through the following week the issues were still arising, so we had him come back and redo it with no problem.Really nice guy. Our toilet downstairs still has problems every now and then with flushing, have to press it twice, but nothing we cant handle now. Definitely would call back for any other issues.

“When we noticed water running out of the garage we knew we had a problem. We called another company and were told that the first service date available was in the middle of June. Unexceptable! Roto-Rooter of Palmetto had a service rep return the call within 15 min. (almost unheard of these days) and a technician (Dave Hansbury) was out to assess the problem within 3 hours. Yup, we needed a new hot water heater. We were fortunate to be home when the leak started and stave off any further water damage. The next morning as promised Dave showed up with the new water heater and the install was completed within 2+ hrs. These people have been around for a long time and know the business. I had a terrible long term problem that kept coming back from time to time on a back-up. It wasnt roots but a long length of the pipe itself closing in from corrosion. They rooted out the pipe , a tough job and a sensitive one, to keep the chips out of the septic system. They guy knew what he was doing and took care of it. This kind of problem was not cheap , but kept the wife happy and no more back ups when visitors stay with us. Tom

The service I received in Sarasota was great. The service person was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable. My master shower had backed up with water and sludge. He spent a long time working to clear the drain and did not give up until he and I were completely satisfied with the water flow. I was impressed by his commitment and determination. He also provided me with recommendations for maintaining my drains and how to be aware of potential plumbing problems. I was pleased that there was a fixed rate for clearing a drain rather than having to pay by the hour. It was much more cost efficient.

Same day service and a great work done by Dylan. Had a stubborn clog in my main drain due to incompetent home renovators negligently rinsing thier tools off in the sink, clogging the drain with paint, drywall, sand, cement mix, nuts, bolts, you name it. Very tough clog fixed by a great plumber!

I manage three aging apartment communities in Sarasota and all three have frequent plumbing issues ranging from the very simple to complicated sewer issues that require excavation. Roto-Rooter is the ONLY plumber I use. If youre looking for the cheapest plumber in town, this is not it but you get what you pay for and what you get with Roto-Rooter is experienced, knowledgeable techs who always get it right the first time. I highly recommend this branch.

Jason came out and recommended this thing called hydro jetting to clear my sewer lines of rust I didnt believe about this procedure So I called another plumber come out and I threw more money down the drain only to call jason out from roto rooter and proceed with the hydro jetting. I cant tell you how amazed at the five gallon bucket of loose rust that came out of my pipes. Best money Ive spent on plumbing In years
